Wayne Farrell is transported to Amphibia after chasing a golden frog through a muddy thicket, and he has no clue as to what happened other than a gray gem he found in his coat pocket. Wayne soon partners up with an axolotl named Gel to find a way back home. The music box has a fourth gem slot centered around the others, but the gem it once held is missing.

On what is believed to their last night in Amphibia, Anne receives a surprise visit from her closest friend Marcy. Marcy has a confession to make and a special surprise in store for Anne.

AU. The Planters are still stuck in Los Angelous on Feb 29th, Leap Day. Sprig snd Polly host a party in Anne's backyard, inviting frogs, without the family and Hop Pop's permission. Frogs arrive, but so do a few herons! Hop Pop seek out to educate kids about frogs.
