"What do you mean?" Alastor asked.

"Say, everyone, what do you know about alternate universes?" the Doctor asked.

"Like, when you go a world similar to yours, but with differences, or somethin' like that," said Angel.

"Precisely. I think we end up in a parallel world, a parallel Hell, in which someone is taking much more care about the order in the Underworld. And looking that how it looks rather old-fashioned and radios are all over the place, that person might be you, Alastor." said the Doctor.

"But, I'm the Heir to the throne! What happened to me and my dad in this world?" Charlie asked.

"Well, my dear, I think I know where we could find some answers." Alastor glanced at the equivalent of the Hazbin Hotel in this universe.

"I agree, let's go." said the Doctor.

As the TARDIS team walked towards the Hotel, odd things happened. There weren't many people in the streets, and those who were outside cowered in fear and bowed down as they passed, especially to Charlie and Alastor.

The Doctor managed to eavesdrop on the frightened Sinners whispering something.

"It's the King and the Queen!"

"What are doing here out of sudden?"

"They're probably just having a walk."

"Angel Dust is there too."

"Who's the guy with the bowtie?"

"Hey." Angel whispered, "Who are the "King and Queen" they're mumbling about? Lucifer isn't here, is he?"

"Yeah, I'm confused too," Charlie whispered.

"Well, I don't mind the attention, if I'd be honest," Alastor commented.

"I think I have an idea, but I need more evidence." said the Doctor.

After a while, they arrive at the majestic Hazbin Hotel of this universe.

"Wow..." said Charlie, amazed by the Hotel's golden walls. "It's huge..."

"That's what she said." Angel chuckled.

They went inside, and a familiar face noticed them: It was Vaggie.

"Welcome to the Hazbin Hote-Oh," Vaggie spoke, her voice in the universe was more high-pitched. She looked with disdain at Alastor. "Oh, I didn't expect you to return this early, Your Majesty."

""Your Majesty?"" Alastor?" Charlie and Angel both thought in sheer confusion.

Alastor was perplexed too, but considering the situation, he decided to roll with it.

"Oh, yes, you see, Charlie and I wanted to have a walk with Angel escorting us, that's all. And while we were walking, we found a new patron for the hotel!" He pulled the Doctor to himself.

"Oookay," said Vaggie. "I'll escort him to his room if you don't mind."

"Not at all!" said Alastor.

The Doctor followed Vaggie to another room, where Alastor couldn't hear them.

"That cabron is not forcing you to be here, is he?" said Vaggie.

"Huh?"

"You can tell me, he won't hear you here," said Vaggie.

"Why wouldn't he hear us?" the Doctor raised an eyebrow.

"Are you a new Sinner?" Vaggie asked.

"Oh, yes, you could say that. Who is that smiling guy, really?"

Vaggie took a deep breath. "His name is Alastor, King of Hell. Half a year ago, he suddenly killed the previous King Lucifer and took over the Underworld."

The Doctor was baffled, "...How, exactly?"

"I'd like to know that, too." Vaggie sighed. "And unfortunately, we can't do anything about it. Alastor does what he pleases, not even Charlie is safe..."

"...I see." said the Doctor. "Thanks for the...Warning." He returned to the Main Hall.

Vaggie looked at him going away, fascinated and suspicious of the Time Lord's odd behaviour.

Back to the Hall, Charlie, Angel and Alastor waited for the Doctor to return. Everything was fine as they chatted with Husk and Niffty of this universe. However, Charlie could feel something was wrong, she felt a...The tense atmosphere in the air.

Things began to be more complicated as a spider demon entered the Hotel: Said demon was Angel Dust, but from this universe.

"I'm back." He said, his voice was slightly deeper compared to Main!Angel.

The TARDIS couldn't even elaborate that he saw the other Angel.

"...Shit," he said.

The two Angels looked at each other, confused.

Alt!Husk glanced at the bottle nearby, thinking he'd been drinking too much.

"Who...Are you?" Alt!Angel asked.

"It's kinda hard to explain." said Angel, "Huh, so that's how I look from the outside."

"Look good, don't I?" Alt!Angel grinned.

"Never doubted it."

"Would you kindly stop flirting with yourself, Angel?" Alastor asked, annoyed.

"Nah," said Angel.

"What's going on-What the fuck?!" Vaggie was confused.

"Huh...We can explain!" said Charlie, trying to take control of the situation.

An explanation later, held by Charlie and the Doctor...

"So, you guys are from another universe?" Alt!Husk asked.

"Precisely, Husker!" said Alastor.

"And in that universe, Alastor is not the King?" Alt!Vaggie continued.

"Yes." said Charlie, "But...What about me? Aren't I supposed to be the Queen of Hell if...Dad's dead in the universe?"

The alternate versions of the Hotel's patrons kept silent and looked away.

"What happened to the Charlie of this universe?" Her tone became more anxious.

Suddenly, jazz music started playing.

"Oh, I like it!" Alastor commented.

"What's going on?" The Doctor asked, seeing the expression of terror on the alternate patrons' faces.

"The King is comin'." Said Alt!Husk.

"Quick! Hide!"

"Everyone, please, come near me." Said Alastor calmly.

The TARDIS team obliged and went close to Alastor. The Radio Demon snapped his fingers and they disappeared into a shadow.

"Woah..." Angel looked around.

"Where are we?" Charlie asked.

"Well, my dear, we're inside the wall." Said Alastor. "We can observe the scene in complete safety."

Outside, two figures entered the Main Hall: A smiling deer demon and a blonde demon woman with blonde hair, both wearing regal-like attire: They were Alastor and Charlie's counterparts.

"Welcome back, Your Majesties," said Alt!Vaggie. "How was the date?"

"It was splendid, there's nothing better than passing your time with your loved one," said King Alastor, with a deeper voice than Main!Alastor. He turned to Queen Charlie, "Isn't that right, cherie?"

"Y-Yeah..." She said, her tone was anxious. "That's right, l-love."

"L-Love?!" Charlie thought, shocked.

"Now then, Charlie and I will retreat to our chamber, I don't want us to be disturbed." King Alastor ordered, he put his hand on her queen's shoulder, bringing her closer to him. "My Queen deserves some relaxation and fun with his king, doesn't she~?"

Queen Charlie looked extremely uncomfortable at King Alastor's touch, and the TARDIS team could only but watch.

The Doctor was disgusted and noticed Alt!Vaggie's glare filled with hatred towards the King. Charlie was horrified, and Angel wanted to intervene.

However, there was someone there who was royally pissed off by that scene...Alastor himself.

Even he didn't know why, but he felt so angered by that view, that he wanted to go there and murder his counterpart in cold blood.

"T-There's no need, Al, I'm not tired..." Queen Charlie looked away.

"Oh, nonsense, darling, you deserve some rest..." King Alastor grinned. "I know how to make you relax..."

"I'm afraid she won't relax for the moment, good sir." Alastor came out of hiding, forcing the others to do so too.

The Royal couple was confused at the sight of the Radio Demon and the Infernal princess.

"What...What's going on?" said Queen Charlie.

Charlie awkwardly waved at the two.

"And who you might be, I wonder?" King Alastor asked.

"Alastor, a pleasure to be meeting you, sir, quite the displeasure," said Alastor.

"I see," King Alastor snapped his fingers, and shadow demons appeared, surrounding the group. "Take them to the basement, I'll interrogate them personally."

"No, you fuckin' won't!" Angel summoned his tommy guns.

"Indeed, I'm afraid you'll have to change your schedule, ""Your Majesty""." Alastor summoned his shadow creatures.

The Doctor and Charlie stood from behind One thinking of a plan and the other panicking.

"Oh, so you all want to fight. That's a pity." King Alastor grinned, looking at Charlie. "If you are like my Charlie I presume, I'm sure you don't want your friends to get hurt...D̵̳̾̐͝ỏ̵̢̬͕͆̀̚ ̵̧͋y̵̧̺͋̈͘͠ö̵̡̲ū̸̻̘͇?̸̧̩̼̂̿̆" He snapped his fingers, and several chains appeared, wrapping around the couunterparts' necks. He dragged them to keep them close to him.

"Guys!" The two Charlies said in unison.

"You bastard...You own their souls?!" said Angel.

"...Drop your weapons." said the Doctor.

"WHAT?!" Angel yelled, confused. Alastor raised an eyebrow.

"We don't know what Al's doppelganger's powers are, it's a suicide fighting for now: Drop your weapons, Anthony, trust me."

"...Fine, I trust ya, Doc." Angel dropped his Tommy guns and Alastor made disappear his shadow creatures.

"At last, someone reasonable," said King Alastor. His minions brought away the TARDIS team.

They were thrown into a cell.

"Huh, didn't know the Hotel had a basement." said the Doctor.

"What the fuck were you thinkin', Al?!" Angel yelled, "We were safe in that hiding! Why did you blow up our cover?!"

"If I'd be honest, I'd like to know that, too." Alastor thought, but he lied when he spoke. "Oh, simple, I thought it'd be fun."

"So you risked our lives, plus your own because you thought it was funny?! Are you a fuckin' idiot?!" Angel continued, grabbing Alastor by his coat.

"Take your hands off me immediately or-"

"-Or what?" Said Angel, revealing a more demonic form, "You may be an Overlord of somethin', but I ain't scared of ya, Smiles."

"Calm down, both of you!" the Doctor ordered. "Fighting each other won't free us for sure."

Charlie sat down, looking extremely worried.

"You okay there, Charlie?" The Time Lord asked.

"I'm...I'm worried for the others. For our friends in this universe, for Vaggie, for my doppelganger..." said Charlie. "She looked so...Scared when the King acted so...Flirty."

"Yeah, poor girl." said the Doctor, "But we can't do much for her, I'm afraid."

"Why not?" Charlie asked, annoyed.

"We're not supposed to be here, everything is supposed to go on without our intervention. And if this universe's Alastor managed to murder the Devil...We don't stand a chance. I'm sorry, but what we should do is return to the TARDIS and back to our universe."

Charlie looked away in defeat.

The group heard a noise, a guard arrived.

"His Majesty is ready to interrogate you." They said. "Only the Royal Couple's imposters and the man in purple can go."

"Very well, see you soon, folks!" said Alastor.

"We'll be back, Angel, we promise," said Charlie.

"Yeah, be a good boy, okay?" The Doctor winked.

They went away, and the moment Angel looked away, he found the keys to the cell.

Angel grinned. "Doc, ya son of a bitch..."

Meanwhile, the Doctor, Alastor and Charlie were escorted to King Alastor's throne room. King Alastor was sitting, while Queen Charlie was standing next to him.

"Well, well, well, what fascinating guests we have," said King Alastor. "Kneel before your king and queen."

Charlie, not wanting to escalate much the situation, reluctantly obliged. The Doctor and Alastor did not.

"I said, K̴̜͐ṅ̴̠͕̩ḝ̸̠̈̐͂̓ͅe̴̲̟̲͒̃͑͐̕͝l̵͔̞͚̈̿̎̚." King Alastor summoned several shadow tentacles to force the two to kneel. Alastor summoned his that blocked the other tentacles.

"I can play this game too, you know?" Alastor raised an eyebrow.

King Alastor chuckled. "Who are you, really?"

"As we told you before, I'm the Doctor: These are Alastor and Charlie Morningstar, Princess of Hell." said the Doctor.

"Oh, nonsense, I am Alastor and Charlie is the Queen of Hell now," said King Alastor.

"Oh, it's a long story. An entertaining one, for sure, but rather long," said Alastor.

"Say, Your Majesty, if I can: Why did you marry Charlie? How did you kill the Devil himself, Lucifer?" The Doctor asked.

"Isn't it obvious?" said King Alastor, caressing Queen Charlie's cheek. "Because I love my queen with every fibre of my being..."

Charlie was disgusted at the scene, while the Doctor and Alastor...Burst out laughing, annoying the King.

"Me, falling in love?! That's some wacky nonsense!" said Alastor.

King Alastor was furious, his antlers began to grow. "You dare to disrespect me and my love...?"

"Of course we do!" said Alastor grinning widely.

"I will give you a lesson on how you treat your King."

"Is that really how you get treated? Are you the Queen of Hell, or the King's slave, Charlie?" said the Doctor to the Queen. "He took everything from you: Your parents, your friends, your love, your kingdom...Do you really want to let that slide?"

"Don't listen to him!" said King Alastor.

"Vaggie told me about that day when he killed your parents right before your eyes when he took over Hell and forced you to become his wife, his trophy wife. Remember what he had done to you in these years, but if you don't, let me ask you one thing: How was your wedding night with him?"

The Doctor kept talking, convincing the Queen to rebel more and more, while Alastor and Charlie kept busy with the King. The Time Lord even started the singing, giving her the coup-de-grace.

"You had a dream, you wished to tell,"

"About this wonderful, brilliant new hotel."

"You made it one of its kind, right here in Hell,"

"To gather a specific type of clientele."

It seemed to work on the Queen, Charlie realised what the Doctor was singing.

"Because inside of every Demon is a Rainbow,"

"You wanted to give them a happy afterlife!"

"To every single villain that is larger-than-life"

"You'll give them a trip to Heaven safe and sound!"

"But you can turn around!"

"I know your grief's profound!"

"Rebel to him and be free, here at the Hazbin Hotel~!"

"Ah yes, delightful music, pity I have to kill you-" Suddenly, King Alastor got punched...By the Queen, throwing him to the other side of the throne room. The TARDIS team was impressed. But before the King could react the chandelier fell onto him.

It was Angel who dropped the chandelier...With the alternate universe's counterparts of the residents.

"Hey! Ya don't want to have fun without me, do you?" Angel grinned.

"Guys...!" said Queen Charlie. "You've got your weapons back!"

"The other Angel told us everything and showed us how to get them back." said Alt!Vaggie.

"You ain't the only one who's good with words, Doc." said Angel.

"Yeah, he ain't bad." said Alt!Angel.

"Good, ready to regain your freedom, boys?" said the Doctor.

"Doctor, please, bring Angel and Charlie to the TARDIS, I'll take care of him." said Alastor.

"But-"

"Don't worry about me, dear." Alastor interrupted the princess, "I will be fine, now, go."

"You go, we'll cover you." said Alt!Husk.

"You heard him, let's go."

The Doctor, Charlie and Angel left.

"You all dare to defy me...? Did you forget, Husker, that Ī̵̡̫̗͔̪̰̹̹̫̭̞̝̔͂̃̂̓̕̚͠ ̸̮̤͍̻̲̽̊̅̏̉͐̇͂͐̄̂Ọ̵̪͕͎̙̥̖̈̀̈́ͅͅW̸̛̟̭̰̞̩̘͎̍͌̄̏̽̔̅ͅN̷̡̢̛̯͕͚̙̝̮̏̔̈͗ ̶̢̗̫̩͓͉̺̣̤̯̲̫̍ͅY̵̪͓̟̺͉͉̦̼̰̳̖̓͆̎̉͑̈̓͐̈̃̉̊̚͘͠O̵̧̧̧̹͉͕̳͍̘̮̬̍̎͐͛̓̃͂͐̾̄̚̚ͅǗ̶̧͚̼̤͈̲̓͗?̸̺̠̱͇̟̱̎̆͋͑́!̸̛̛͉͚͖̼͖̹̥̺͇͕̻̘̦̳͂̋̓̉́̒̔́̽̂̌͘̕͜" said King Alastor.

"Yes, that is true, however!" said Alastor, "We're the same person, aren't we not? Therefore, Husker, I command you to kick his ass."

"Finally, something we can agree on." said Alt!Husk.

So, the fight began. It was hard, but the group put one hell of a fight, especially Queen Charlie and Alastor, and the latter dodged every single attack.

"Aha! Not even close!" Alastor kept provoking his royal counterpart, "You're too slow~!"

"How come are you so fast?!" The King was getting more and more furious.

"Well, as they say: 'You're your worst enemy'! Haha!" said Alastor.

King Alastor laughed, as...Angel wings grew up from his back?!

"What the-?! Are those angel wings?!" said Alt!Angel.

"Well, that's a plot twist." said Alastor.

As the King laughed maniacally, he prepared to launch a final attack, his fists began glowing a purple glow, until he shot a ray directly at Alastor.

However, it didn't hit the Radio Demon, but an old Police Box. The TARDIS materialised around Alastor, saving him just in time.

"Ah, what a perfect timing, Doctor!" said Alastor.

"What Time Lord would I be if I didn't have one?" the Doctor raised an eyebrow in amusement.

"Great, we can go outside and help the others!" said Charlie.

But before she could do anything, the Doctor pulled down the lever, and the TARDIS dematerialised.

"Hey! What are you doing?" said Charlie, "Aren't we...Going back?"

Everyone went silent, the Doctor focused on the console.

"We're not going to leave them there, are we?" The princess asked.

"...I'm sorry, we're going home." said the Doctor.

"WHAT?!" Charlie shouted, "We can't just leave them there to die!"

"We have no choice, we should have never came here, I should have never brought you here." said the Doctor, "It has become too dangerous, and it's all my fault. Now, if I reverse the polarity here..."

"So? We should still go there and save them, they're our frie-"

"No, they're not." said the Doctor, with a cold tone. "They're merely how could our friends have been if an event happened in a different way. That wasn't Alastor, that wasn't Anthony, that wasn't Niffty, that wasn't you and that wasn't Vaggie!"

"I know! But we can still save them nonetheless, just someone!" said Charlie.

The Doctor stood there, silent.

"Hey, Doc." said Angel, a bit worried, "Ya okay there?"

Those words Charlie uttered made accidentally emerge some trauma about his past adventures, specifically one with a companion of his previous incarnation: The best temp in Chiswick, Donna Noble.

There, when the Doctor was keen to leave Pompei getting destroyed, Donna said this:

"Just someone. Please. Not the whole town. Just save someone!"

He then gave him, deciding to save a family there, Laws of Time be damned. But it was that moment that his descend into madness almost began, when he realised that since he was the Last of the Time Lords, he could do what he pleased with Time.

"For a long time now, I thought I was just a survivor, but I'm not. I'm the winner. That's who I am. The Time Lord Victorious."

"No...NO!" He slammed his fist into the console, snapping out of it. "We're not going there, got it?!"

"...Okay." said Charlie, looking away.

"Crystal!" Alastor gave a thumbs up.

"Yeah." said Angel.

The entire trip felt like eternity thanks to that dead silence.

Angel went to the Doctor, he put his hand on the Time Lord's shoulder. "Are you sure you're okay, Doc? Ya can tell me, if you want."

"I'm...Fine, don't worry, Anthony." said the Doctor.

Angel, knowing the Doctor well, immediately found out he was lying, but decided to back down. "Okay, I'm here if you wanna talk. Ya did to me before, after all."

"I'll...Remember that." said the Doctor.

The TARDIS rematerialised back in the "main universe", exactly where they left.

"Charlie!" They could hear Vaggie's voice. "Are you there?"

The group left the TARDIS, Charlie went to hug Vaggie.

"So, how was the trip, hon?" Vaggie asked.

"It was...Something." said Charlie.

"Indeed, it was fantastic!" said Alastor, genuinely laughing. "It's been ages since I felt this much alive! I sure do envy you, Angel!"

"Ah, thanks, I guess." said Angel.

"Well...Maybe we can make more trips like this in the future." said the Doctor.

He closed the doors of the TARDIS and returned to that band of misfits he grew fond of, as a misfit myself.

Yes, he still feels guilty of leaving their counterparts to certain death, but there was nothing he could do in his mind. He'll just...Hide the dust under carpet...

...He always does it.
