In an undisclosed location...
Seven women have been sitting in a half circle, surrounding the only source of light in the basement. Each of them have been dressed in a wedding attire. These girls looked pale, their lips have been dried, and their eyes kept closed as if they were still asleep. However, there were no traces of life within them.
In another side, A young man with a pale-blond hair looked on to his rather unwilling guests: a man with bandages wrapped around his head, and a beautiful young woman. Both of them have been robbed of movement and speech thanks to the tapes the bind them.
The blond man makes a snide warning to his captive
"Now don't try anything funny, Leo. I've installed cameras everywhere"
He then turned his back on the two before slightly closing the door on them. He picked up the call from his phone; it was Professor Robert
"Hello, Oliver Lloyd here... Professor Robert?... You need me to teach your class now? Sorry I - Okay, I'll be right over"
Going back to the basement with a sense of urgency, he checked in on the captive girl
"I have to go for a bit now, Julie. Don't worry, I'll be back soon"
He gently lifted her cheeks up in a domineering fashion, all while she was sporting a defiant look on him
"Don't be a bad girl while I'm away, Okay my love?"
Oliver headed his way towards the basement door as he leaves the both of them tied up and gagged. However, upon opening the door, it was not the sunlight from upstairs that met his gaze.
"Who are you?"
It was a shadow of a tall man wielding a shotgun
Before he could even register a single thought, a strange sound was heard throughout the house, and Oliver was blown away into the basement floor.
Both captives were shocked at what happened. Oliver was blown back into the floor, lying in a pool of his own blood.
Oliver was shot? It wasn't supposed to end up like this...
A sound of footsteps was later heard descending down.
Who is it?
Oliver, still alive but in serious trouble, groaned weakly
"Who... are... you?"
The tall figure revealed itself: It was a tall man with a muscular build, wearing jeans, leather cowboy boots, a brown shirt, a black jacket, and sporting a bowl haircut. He was carrying a sound-suppressed Remington 11-87 semiautomatic shotgun. Julie looked on in pure horror and confusion. She immediately recognized this man, or at least in her previous life.
Anton Chigurh? Impossible!? What is he doing here in this story? What's going on?
Chigurh slowly walked down a flight of stairs and looked on at the three of them. He then approached Leo and ripped the tape off his mouth
"Who are you?" Chigurh asked him
"I'm Leo, I'm a college student, please help us"
"That depends"
Leo was confused by his answer. What does he mean by 'that depends'? Chigurh drew a coin from his pocket
"Call it" he tells Leo
Julie was whimpering through her gag in despair. Having been familiar with the character, she immediately knew Leo's chances of him going to be killed by Chigurh is 50/50
NOO, LEO, PLEASE DON'T CALL IT! YOU'LL BE KILLED
"Tails" Leo innocently replied, unaware of Chigurh's true intentions
Chigurh flipped the coin in his hand. Once it was revealed, Leo's fate was sealed.
"Luck's not on your side, unfortunately"
He pulled down the bandage wrapped around Leo's forehead and covered his eyes, blindfolding him. He then aimed the shot at his head and, in an instant, Leo's head scattered all throughout the floor he's lying. Julie screamed in horror at what she has witnessed.
Chigurh turned his attention towards Julie. He slowly walks towards her and squatted
"You were calling for your friend here. So it's safe to assume that you know me"
Julie can't help but nod in sheer terror.
All of a sudden, a shadow emerged in front of Chigurh. It was Oliver, bloodily wounded but still alive, holding a part of the broken railing. He prepares to strike Chigurh in the head with it.
Chigurh obviously noticed and was easily able to dodge Oliver. Quick to answer back, he grabbed Oliver's weapon and threw him into one of the sitting corpses. Julie immediately used the fight as an opportunity to escape; her bindings around her legs cut by Oliver while Leo was killed
Chigurh immediately grabbed a sharp wood and stabbed her ankle, but Oliver quickly grabbed him from behind. He diverted his attention onto the blonde man and punched him in the wounded gut, causing him to collapse. Chigurh then picked up the broken plank and begins to strangle him with it from behind, all while cracking a sadistic smile on his face. He drops himself on the floor and wrapped his legs onto him to prevent him from getting up. Once he is certain he is out of breath, he snaps his neck for good measure
Getting up after that kill, he followed the trail of blood from Julie's wounded ankle, all the way into the living room. He finds her sitting in the couch, fear in her eyes as she gazed at Chigurh. He then ripped the tape off her mouth.
"You haven't answered my question. Do you know me?"
"Yes, I do. You want to toy your victims with a coin toss. Like how you did with Leo and Carson Wells"
Chigurh was silently shocked. She knew how he killed Carson Wells despite not being there to witness it.
Wasting no time, he picked the coin in his pocket
"Call it..."
Defiant, Jules refused
"No, I won't"
"Why?"
"If you're doing it just to decide our fate then I refuse"
"And why is it?"
"Fate has nothing to do with this madness. It's just you and the coin"
Understandably upset, Chigurh taped her mouth back and backed off the couch.
Then he turned at her and shot her in the chest with the shotgun.
He later left the house through the back, checking the soles of his shoes before suddenly disappearing as a bus crossed by
