Somewhere far from the Empire lies Kingdom undergoing a mourning procession.
The Death of Youngest Princess...
A few months ago, The Kingdom suffered a plague that cost thousands of lives to both commoners and nobles.
Though the plague was a dire situation, The Youngest Princess remained determined and vow to cure the plague no matter the cost. Countless days and nights were spent on research, and her attempts to conjure the right medicine bore little results.
But despite this, she would continue even when she was deprived of sleep and was constantly exposed to the plague itself. In spite of these conditions, she continued her research until a formula was finally made.
Once completed, she leaves a summary of her formula and snuck her way to the highest floor of her castle. To further isolate herself from her family as she showed signs of the plague's late stage.
When she was found, what they saw was a lifeless corpse of the princess clutching onto the portrait of her beloved family. She died a few days before her 17th Birthday...
Chapel
With the entire structure being small, The Royal Family, Castle Servants, and a handful of their closest acquaintances were present as the priest provides a eulogy to the young princess.
Just outside the Chapel were residents of the kingdom as they came to share their condolences and pay their respect to the princess' selfless act to save their kingdom.
After the Eulogy was given, the priest then requested the Royal Family to form a line and say their goodbyes.
Due to the Queen's emotional state, the royal family insisted that they should go last and the Queen was put at the back of the line alongside her husband.
Once it was the Queen's turn, she steps closer to the coffin and quietly sobbed as she stares at her daughter. In her thoughts, she could only tell herself that her daughter was asleep.
The Queen then placed her hand on the coffin, leans forward, and planted a kiss on her daughter's forehead since her body had been cleansed of any and all contagious diseases.
As the Queen pulls away, she continues to stare at her daughter while her husband went to her side and gently tugged her hand.
"Come on, my love. It's time," The King said,
Before the Queen could move away from her daughter's coffin...
...
...
...
Light flickered around the princess' body.
Eventually, that light grew brighter and everyone in the chapel shielded their eyes as it brightens the entire building for all to see.
A few moments later, the light dies down and everyone inside the chapel turns to the coffin with awestruck looks on their faces.
However, The Queen didn't hesitate to rush her way to the coffin and stare at her daughter's face. That's when she noticed her daughter's skin slowly regaining its color and immediately places her ear against her daughter's chest much to her other's surprise.
She waits then hears her daughter's heart slowly beating before turning to her daughter's face. That's when she noticed her daughter's eyes twitching a few times before seeing them slightly open.
The Queen soon shed tears of joy, pulled her daughter out of her coffin, and embraced her as she cried for all to hear. As for everyone else, The Royal Family stood incredibly still while the rest went down on their knees and watched in disbelief as the Youngest Princess of their Kingdom.
Had been miraculously revived before their very eyes.
A member of the chapel then announced the Princess' resurrection to the masses. Everyone rejoiced as the beloved Princess of the Kingdom had been brought back to life and most of them even thanked the gods for returning the kind princess back to the living.
As for the Young Princess, she remained quiet as her body was frail and mind was weak. But before she rests on the Queen's shoulder, a wandering thought came into her mind.
'Where... Am I...' The Youngest Princess muttered,
Unfamiliarity struck within the girl's mind while the Royal Family decided to cancel the funeral and brought their resurrected daughter back to the castle for immediate treatment.
But unknownst to all of them, this miracle would bring about change that would shape their kingdom and their lives as a whole.
It's short, I know. But this is all I could think of since I never planned on making it long in the first place.
But rest assured, when I work on the official chapters. They will be longer than the prologue.
Oh, and a bit of a side note, This story is published alongside my Danmachi/FateStayNight Story since I planned to showcase the top two stories when I finished writing the 11th Chapter of my 'The Day She Became the Malevolent Demon Lord' story.
That is all I can say for now, Stay safe from the virus, and I will see you all soon!
