For as long as he can remember, Christopher Lopez has loved Pokemon!
It all started in his early childhood, when he was first introduced to the Pokemon anime. Then he was introduced to Pokemon diamond and Pearl, cementing his love of the franchise for as long as he can remember.
Christopher loves all kinds of Pokemon, from the weak to the strong! He always told himself, if he ever got reincarnated into the cartoon universe, please allow him to become a pokémon trainer!
So imagine his surprise when he woke up one day as... Bruce Wayne AKA Batman!
"Are you flipping kidding me!"was the first words he said when he realized he was living the life of Bruce Wayne, AKA Batman AKA one of the greatest superheroes in comic book history!
It all started when he was finish with his Batman training, and return to Gotham City with the intention of becoming Batman. Up until that point, he didn't remember anything from his past life...Until he was accidentally hit by a car on his way home!
When he woke up in the Gotham City general hospital, he suddenly remembered everything from his past life..And he couldn't believe he became Batman, one of the most tragic Heroes of all time instead of the pokémon trainer he always wanted to be!
Worst than that, he wasted 22 years of his life trying to become someone, who he admired, but not the person he wanted to be!
Was he going to take this lying down!...HELL NO!
He was going to become the Pokemon trainer he always wanted to be! So Chris, or Bruce as he would now call himself decided to do something about it!
So he began studying wormhole technology, which was easier than he thought considering he was reincarnated into the DC universe, which he was an avid fan of! It was easy to say that besides Pokemon, the young pokémon fan was also a big fan of DC!
He used this knowledge to acquire all the necessary science and magic he needed to access the Pokemon world, where he would finally achieve his dream of becoming a Pokemon trainer! As he was doing all of this, he study up on everything he would need to do to raise Pokemon.
He knew it wouldn't be like in the game, where pokémon didn't need to eat. So he quickly studied up on what animals needed for a proper nutritious diet, how to take care of them, how to administer first aid to animals, how probably train animals, Etc! He also decided to continue his training, since he would need a strong body and mind to become the greatest Pokemon trainer of them all!
Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne's loyal Butler was confused by the sudden change in plans. But he was nonetheless pleased that his technically adopted son would not go out onto the streets every night to fight crime! Little did Alfred not know that Chris AKA Bruce had a contingency plan for that.
His plans was to but being on Batman on hold for an unknown amount of time, while he acquires the ultimate team of Pokemon.
While on one hand he was not happy to be reincarnated as Batman, he will admit that Batman was his favorite superhero of all time! I mean, who doesn't like Batman! He's literally a human that can stand toe to toe with the strongest of the strong with nothing more than his human body and wits!
But he quickly realized early on if you wanted to stand up to the likes of World conquering evil like Brainiac or Darkseid, then did he needed the power of Pokemon.
Now he wasn't going to become Batman because he felt self righteous or anything like that. It was because he wanted to honor Thomas and Martha Wayne, who became his parents and raised him up until their untimely deaths at the hands of a cowardly criminal.
While Bruce may have acquired his memories from his past life, and wanted to be a pokémon trainer, he was no less still traumatized by the event of witnessing his parents murder!
So he was determined to still become Batman, but at a later date!
And soon, after much time and ever, the day he had been waiting for had finally arrived!

After would felt like forever, Bruce was in his secret man cave underneath Wayne Manor. In front of him was a large metal cylinder covered with all kinds of electronic devices that looked extremely high tech. He smiled at himself, as the device in front of him would take him to the pokémon world!
And he would finally become the Pokemon trainer he always dreamed of being!
"Are you sure you want to do this, master Bruce?"inquired Alfred, worried about his adoptive son.
"Don't worry about me, Alfred. It's just with the appearance of Superman and Wonder Woman, I realize I'm going to need more than my gadgets and training to save the day. I learned of this mysterious World filled with powerful creatures that will listen to human commands if raised while traveling through Japan..I know it may be all superstition, but what if it's not. These pocket monsters are the perfect continuously plan against super powered foes."said Bruce, lying through his teeth.
In reality he knew that there was no such thing in Japan, at least not in this world. He knew of the existence of Pokemon long before he became Bruce Wayne. At the same time, he knew that Alfred would never believe him in think he was nuts if he told him the truth...Well, more nuts...What Bruce had in mind was simple.
He would go to the Pokemon world for an indefinite amount of time to acquire the six pokémon he's always wanted under his belt. Then he would come back, fight crime, become a legend, join the Justice League, and see where that gets them from there!
His plan was to acquire his six favorite Pokemon from his first life! He wants these Pokemon more than anything else in the world! He wants to show the DC universe the power of Pokemon, which combined with his Batman training will make him one of the greatest heroes of this world!
He wasn't doing this for himself, but for the memory of Thomas and Martha Wayne! While most people think he was being silly, they needed to remember that he did witness his parents murder. Even though in his first life they were comic book characters, in this life they were his parents, meaning their death affected him greatly... which made him understand why Bruce Wayne became Batman in the first place!
It was because the trauma was never something he got over...!
"So, how long are you going to be gone, Master Bruce?"inquired Alfred, who was curious as to how long his employer plans to be gone.
"I don't know...a week, a month, a year, more than a year. This is something I have to do Alfred. While I was in Tibet, I had a spiritual vision that great evil is coming to this world, and I want to be ready to protect it. This city has suffered under its cesspool of corruption for too long, but I'm going to need more than just the symbol of fear to save it... I'm going to need great power and allies I can trust. If this works, I'll be able to protect the world and everyone I love."said Bruce with certainty, even though he lied about some b* that were technically the truth by his standards.
"Very well... I don't want what happened to Master Thomas and Miss Martha that happened to anyone else. And you do have a point, this city has suffered from its corruption for too long. Just try not to get yourself killed. I don't want to have to bury another Wayne."said Alfred, which made Bruce give him a big hug.
"You know me, Alfred. This is something I have to do, and the only way I'm going to move forward is to take the leap into the impossible! I will come back, once I acquire the six creatures that will help me protect Gotham and the world from threats big and small."said Bruce with a smile.
"Are you sure you can control these Pokemon creatures?"inquired Alfred, just as Bruce stopped hugging him.
"I don't know. But I'm going to do my best to gain their trust. Now I suggest you stand back, since I don't know how much power this puppy will have."said Bruce, who adjusted his tie as he approached the machine.
He was wearing a suit, despite the fact he had no idea where the portal would take him to. He had no idea if he was going to Kanto, Hisui, or Paldea. All he knew was that he need to look professional, since he wanted to get a good first impression with the locals. After all, only by befriending the locals will he learn everything else he need to learn to properly take care of Pokemon.
Specifically the six Pokemon he has wanted all his life!
"Are you really sure you want to do this?"inquired Alfred, who took a step back.
"Just get behind the safety glass Alfred. And yes, I really want to do this."said Bruce nbefore turning on the machine.
Alfred looked on with a mix of fear and curiosity as the machine began to turn on. Bruce on the other hand looked at it with joy as he saw the wondrous machine that would take him to the pokémon World began to power on! A couple of moments later, a small but stable portal that would take him to the pokémon World formed.
"Well... I guess this is goodbye for now, Alfred. I promise to come back once I acquire everything I wanted to acquire from the world of Pokemon. And once I do come back, I will show the criminals of Gotham beyond that I am vengeance, I am the night, I am Batman!"said Bruce to Alfred, with the butler not knowing that the DC fan always wanted to say that.
"I... I understand, Master Bruce. Just please come back in one piece."said Alfred, who couldn't lose someone he cared about again.
"I'll do my best to come back alive and in one piece!"said Bruce with a smile before taking a step into the portal that would take him to the Pokemon world.
He didn't know where he was going, but all he knew is that he was finally going to become the pokémon trainer he's always wanted to be! He decided to take a few changes in those plans, and he would not only become a Pokemon trainer, but a superhero as well.
In fact, he was probably going to be the first Pokemon trainer superhero in existence!
And he couldn't wait to make that goal a reality!
Now all he had to do was acquire the six pokémon he's wanted all his life. Pokemon that were not only strong, but had to capabilities to help him protect Gotham and everything else from great evil big and small!
Now he can only hope that he can acquire them and earn their trust!
Only time will tell!
I just got this idea a moment ago, and I feel like it has potential.
It's something unique, and hopefully it will makes sense in the long run!
So yeah, Bruce Wayne, or his past life was an avid pokémon fan in this version of Batman. When he was hit by a car on his way home after returning from his years of training, he regained those memories and was upset that he became Batman instead of becoming a pokémon trainer he always dreamed of. Now he wants to correct that mistake, but at the same time, he wants to make himself something different from your average Pokemon trainer.
He wants to become a superhero pokémon trainer!
I'm probably going to set this around the Justice League unlimited universe of the Young Justice universe... I'm still not sure. Maybe I'll do this around the Arkham universe... I'm still not sure. I literally just came up with this story just a few minutes ago, so I'm not sure where I'm going with it.
I want to be completely honest with you guys and say I don't know what I'm doing, but I'm going to do my best to wing it until it's a masterpiece!
The Next chapter will either be Bruce exploring the pokémon world, or him coming back to Gotham City after acquiring the six pokémon he wanted to acquire.
Now I won't tell you which six Pokemon he wants to gather, but let me tell you that they're going to be powerful pokémon nonetheless.
These Pokemon will be powerhouses! But I won't tell you which ones.
I also won't tell you where Bruce ended up, at least until the next chapter. I want to give an air of mystery to the story that way it will be more interesting to the people who want to read it.
