"Are you guys ever annoyed by each other?" The interviewer asks.
Aang gives Katara an anticipating look from the side of his eye.
Katara stares back for a second with a smirk creeping on her face until speaking again.
"Well yeah."
"Yeah sometimes. But that's normal, right?"
"Exactly. And it's not like, I'm annoyed by just your presence."
"Wait, what do you mean?"
"Okay, you know Sokka?"
"Ohhh."
"Yeaah. You know how Sokka is sometimes"
"Yea." Aang rubs the back of his neck.
Katara turns to the interviewer.
"Like Sokka, my brother, will just barge in,-"
"Whenever Katara and I are together."
"Exactly! And I bet it's on purpose." Katara says with her arms crossed and rolling
her eyes.
"Well I don't think it's on purpose-"
"Aang." Katara gives Aang an 'Are you serious?' look.
"Katara." Aang playfully gives one back.
"Avatar Aang."
"Master Katara!"
"Avatar Aang of the Southern Air Temple!"
"Master Katara of the Southern Water Tribe!"
They both giggle.
"Aang, seriously though, knowing my brother he probably is doing it on purpose."
"Yeah, you're probably right."
Katara gives a knowing grin. However, she has a thought.
"Wait. What do you find annoying about me?"
"Oh! Um well-… I feel like if I tell you, you're gonna be mad with me."
Katara raises her eyebrows.
"Well not mad mad but, you know, hold a small grudge."
Aang uses his fingers to emphasize small.
"I don't hold grudges."
Katara thinks for a second.
"Well, not against you at least."
Aangs head drops as he laughs in flattery, blushing.
"Okay, well, sometimes— Aang's upper body instinctively backs away from his girlfriend while speaking— you can be a little over competitive when it comes to water-bending spars."
Katara's jaw dropped.
"How?!"
"You said you wouldn't get mad!"
"I'm not mad Aang, I'm just asking how!"
"Okay. Well for starters-"
Katara scoffs.
"Wait I mean, not for starters but um-
you know." Aang states with an awkward chuckle.
"No, I don't." Katara crosses her arms.
"You said you wouldn't get mad!"
"I'm not mad!"
"You're not?"
"No!"
Aang gains a shocked facial expression.
Katara then clears her throat.
"No."
"Okay.."
"Okay."
Aang looks down for a second before nervously kissing Katara on the cheek. Katara can't help but grow a small smile and blush.
Aang giggles, happy to see his girlfriend smiling again.
"You know, why don't you tell me what annoys you about me."
"Promise that…you won't get mad?"
They both giggle.
"No I wont get mad, Katara."
"Well, it's actually pretty ironic considering what you just said about me."
"What is it?"
"It's that-Okay. sometimes it's annoying when you're better than me at stuff."
"Oh. really?"
"Yes, Aang. It doesn't bother me as much as it did before though. But then you're always right."
"Sweetie, you were just right about Sokka!"
Katara blushes at the name 'Sweetie' yet continues.
"Probably right." The water bender says with pout, her eyes away from Aang yet her face still facing him. Trying not to smile.
Aangs head goes back in laughter.
"You were right."
"I was?"
"Yup."
Katara smiles.
"Thank you."
They quickly peck each other on the lips as their faces were already moving closer to each other.
"But you mean the big stuff, don't you? Like, where I get to use my Avatar wisdom?"
"Yeah. But please don't change. Me being annoyed by that is really… just me being selfish. Even though I get annoyed by it, it's… why I love you."
Aang is blushing in flattery.
"Really?"
"Yes Aang…Well one of the many reas- Ah!"
Aang inturrupts katara with a hug. Katara smiles into the hug.
"I love you too."
Finally, they depart.
"Alright, are you ready for the next question sweetie?" Aang asks.
"I'm ready, sweetie."
Aang and Katara both turn in their seats to face the interviewer.
"Next question please!"
