"Why are y'all ganging up on my Yuta!?" Rika emerges from the shadows like the vengeful ghost she is. Immediately there is a shift in the air, it's denser, harder to breathe... for other people. I feel just fine.

What I presume to be the Assassin of this war rushes forward, she's insanely fast for someone of a supposedly weak class, and also insanely physically strong. It really wouldn't surprise me if she was actually part of the knight classes.

Assassin has a bloodthirsty smile on her face, hot. "Oh, I don't mean to bully your boyfriend!" It goes without saying, but her tone is clearly a mocking one. And I imagine she plans on doing much more than just bullying me.

Specially once she actually swings one of her claws at Rika, who... simply slaps her away. "Intent doesn't matter! Actions do!" Rika doesn't let up however, she presses on the attack an Assassin immediately goes on to the defensive.

I guess even now that we are Servants nothing changed. Rika is still just as strong as she has ever been, and so Assassin who could probably create earthquakes with her stomps is being pushed back.

Well, there is another problem on the are, so I dash past them, katana in hand. "Always aim for the support!" That is to say, I can't just leave the supposed Tamamo-No-Mae free from any pressure. She's a Caster after all.

Once I reach her I actually hold my strength down a bit. Not because she's a sexy woman or anything, even I am not that stupid, but because she's clearly part of the... let's call it the Akiha faction. I'm here to make allies after all.

But in the end my strength doesn't matter, because she blocks my blow with some sort of floathing shield. "Do all heroes of your era declare their intent?" She's sending me a cocky grin... her bloodlust even higher than that of Assassin's.

Why did Akiha summon these two freaks?

Master giggles as she shouts from the back lines. "Don't mock him for it Tammy, you would have definitely done the same if you weren't whipped!" Must you really bring attention to yourself in a situation like this!?

Tamamo grits her teeth. "Ugh, just shut up already!" She abuses the fact that her hands are technically free, throwing some type of paper at Master's direction. Without a doubt this is a magic attack of some sort.

So I disengage from the mirror and try cutting it in half. "Tsk...!" Which nets me a kick in the ribs by Tamamo, even if I do succeed in stopping the attack. Should a Caster really be pulling out this type of trick!?

It also doesn't help that even if I stopped the paper, the magic did still activate, making a small concentrated tornado that pushes me back a little, and ends up landing small cuts on my hands.

I shake my head to get recompose myself. "That was certainly something..." And also a lesson on why I shouldn't hold back agaist Heroic Spirits of all things. Yeah, I'm sure Tamamo-No-Mae will survive whatever trick I pull.

She snorts. "Something pathetic. How are you even in the throne on the first place...? Did a oni stumble and fall onto your sword." That's really mean! Though I also don't know how Chaldea summoned me...

Most importantly however, I now must use all of my power to not make a joke about her falling on my sword instead. Sadly my perverted side has already been awakened, so I must at least say something stupid.

I smile. "You know, I can see what Master is talking about. You should loosen up, I bet you look way cuter that way." Though a fox girl is already crazy cute anyways. Ah, how I wish I could have met her when I wasn't a weird ghost guy...

Her eye twitches, but I can see the slightest blush. "Should you really be saying such a thing to Tamamo-No-Mae of all people...? Are you as foolish as you are weak?" That's a surprisingly good point.

But... "To be honest I just wouldn't have fumbled you as bad as the emperor guy did." Maybe I shouldn't insult her previous husband... or whatever he was. She was a concubine after all.

And she also seems to be very confused... "Fumbled...? What does that mean?" Ah, it seems I caught her offguard with some word that she doesn't understand.

I can hear Master mumbling on the background. "Who is raising their Tamamo so poorly that she doesn't even get that? I need to talk with this Master..." Stop talking like she's a dog living with an abusive owner!

Nonetheless, I must now explain this to Tamamo. "I meant that I would have managed to handle you just fine." I nod to myself. "At least one kid every two years... you won't have time for mischief if you're constantly on my bed!" I definitely let out too much of my true self out right now.

Master yet again mumbles to herself. "Yeah, it's Artemis and Orion alright." I have no idea what she's talking about, but for my own sanity I will assume it's a compliment and move on.

Tamamo gasps, now her face is completely red. "One every two years!? I wouldn't be able to handle that, nobody would! It sounds awful!" Her tail is wagging... Wow.

So I press on the attack. "That's fine, it's not like we need to have kids while doing it!" Actually it sounds rather terrifying. "The important part is to always be spending time with my beautiful, smart, beloved Tamamo-No-Mae!"

Her entire body shakes. "No...! I'm a good wife that doesn't look at other men!" And then she grasps her hair, pulling it. "It doesn't matter that my Master has no interest in me, and that she keeps giving four eyes googly eyes...! Yeah, I won't be moved!" She has definitely been moved.

Suddenly my instincts warn me of incoming danger, and I jump backwards to throw a projectile that has been thrown at me. That projectile was Assassin of course, who has quickly learned she's not built for fighting Rika.

She ends hitting a tree, breaking it, and the sound her spine makes... well, she's lucky she's a Servant. I imagine a normal person would never walk again after such a hit.

Rika sends me a pure smile. "Oh, sorry Yuta! I ended up sending her your way!" Well, I'm sure I would have survived, I'm stronger than a tree after all! I'm also very proud of that fact!

I chuckle. "Don't worry Rika, I know it was an accident."

"Eh? Accident?" Ah. I'm sorry for flirting with another girl while you're out there fighting!

And now Tamamo is pointing at me, a furious expression on her face. "Right, you already have a lover! I hate shitty playboys like you!" Your serious facade completely disappeared huh...?

Assassin groans. "Can you please not scream so loudly you shitty fox bitch? I have the worst headache of my life right now..." She slowly gets up, shaking her head while doing so. I wonder if a Servant can get a concussion...?

Not that matters, because I'm confuses how Assassin is even alive at all. "You're getting up...?" It's clear that Rika completely messed her up, as in her stomach has literally been opened by one of Rika's claws, and yet she's still standing.

Assassin grins. "I'm tough." I believe her. This Heroic Spirit is clearly built different... Well, considering her appearance definitely gives away her oni blood, maybe that's why.

Rika laughs. "Yeah, she sure has endurance! Overall she's pretty weak though!" And now Assassin is snarling. In the end she's just a damage sponge for Rika, so it doesn't matter how tough she is.

Master suddenly interjects. "It's not just endurance! She has a skill called Battle Continuation, and her true name is Shuten-Doji!" And you decide to tell us that now!? Though there is no denying that having such a knowledgable Master sure is useful...

Shuten's eye twitches. "This girl sure is a know it all..." She blushes. "It's okay though, since soon enough she's gonna melt, and melt, and melt." Laughter escapes from her lips. "Shield yourself, fox. My Master gave me permission to use that...!"

Tamamo nods. "I suppose they already know our true names." She jumps back, to inside the gates of Akiha's mansion... This is worrying. Why would evem an ally of Shuten's be worried?

No, I get it. She's about to use a Noble Phantasm.

Master sends me a worried look. "You need a Command Seal?" I shake my head, I can handle this.

Now I have two options, I can either raise up my defenses or try and interrupt Shuten... Considering how cocky she is being right now, I don't think this will be the type of Noble Phantasm that can be interrupted, so my next move is clear.

A gourd appears on her hands. "Now, let's make some fine soup." She pours it's liquid on the ground. "Multicolored Poison, Shinpen Kidoku..." And immediately it's liquids become a massive wave, covering the sky and moving towards us.

As expected of a Heroic Spirit. Even a Assassin has a move that is super duper flashy.

I extend my hand. "Rika, tools!" I have a multitude of ways to stop this of course, but I would also like to do so in a way that let's my Master survive, and also doesn't completely give off my supreme trump cards away.

Rika nods. "Pick whatever you want!" And so she metaphorically opens herself, allowing me to choose one of my copied abilities.

The one I choose is Vlov's coat, though I don't even have time to put it on, instead I simply hold it by hand and stomp the ground with as much mana as I can.

"You need to... heh, chill!" I don't use it's fire applications, because while it is easier to use the Idea Blood that way... It would burn the liquid Shuten-Doji released. And who knows what types of toxic fumes would come from that.

So instead I essentially make a gigantic ice wall, though quickly I cover the entirety of the poison, trapping it. It serves as a reminder that Vlov's ability truly was absurdly versatile in its applications.

Even now I can feel it, the knowledge that at any moment I could release the same blizzard that Vlov did, killing everyone in this city block... No, I have way more mana than he has, so I could probably make that blizzard consume this country.

I wouldn't do it of course, but it is a scary reminder of the power monsters in this world can hold, and I guess I am one of those.

Shuten sighs, accepting defeat. "Is that your Noble Phantasm...? Well, it clearly exceeds mine." She jumps on top of the ice wall, looking down at her trapped poison with disappointment on her face.

The liquid is actually trying to eat through my ice, but it would take some decent time to manage such a feat. Maybe it could do so if she continuously pumped mana through it, but then I would just do the same with my ice.

The oni snaps her fingers. "Well, whatever." And suddenly her poison disappears, she must have cutoff the mana flow or something. "My cute pupil has thrown the towel, you two can come in."

Master smiles. "Hah! I knew a fight would fix everything! Everyone works on fighting game rules after all!" That's some scary logic...

And not exactly untrue either.

"So your excuse to almost killing my weapon is that you are some sort of time traveler? Is that it?" Akiha is tapping her foot, clearly unhappy with the explanation Master gave her.

And she also clearly doesn't know me, and neither does the twins. What the hell is going here!? How could my little sisters abandon me!? Who should I kill for this disgrace!?

I... before Master can say anything I interject. "C'mon Akiha, can't you believe me?" I then look at Hisui and Kohaku. "And you two, would I really lie to you two!?" I'm also extremely worried for Hisui specifically.

A pair of Command Seals rests on Akiha's hand, she is without a doubt Shuten Doji's Master... And Hisui is without a doubt Tamamo-No-Mae's Master... I suppose the fox must be containing herself to not put too much pressure on Hisui.

Akiha glares at me. "I already told you, I have never seen you before." She tilts her head. "The Berserker of this war is quite insane, claming her Master to be someone they are not. Perhaps the same applies to you?" I...

Kohaku nods. "Yep, yep, he's nuts!"

Hisui slowly nods. "Please forgive us Mister Heroic Spirit, but you are not the person you are looking for." I want to die. Like actually.

My head hangs low, as Rika pats my back. "Don't worry Yuta, it's probably just an alternate universe or something." Most definitely, but it still hurts. Specially since they won't believe me if I claim that.

And she's not the only one. Tamamo is doing the same. "Just focus on your wife and leave my Master alone, Mister Playboy." Why are you insulting me while trying to raise my spirits.

Shuten-Doji smiles. "How about a drink Foreigner? It's bound to make you feel better... or feel nothing at all~..." The fact that she is now completely okay after the beating she took is a bit scary.

Akiha's eye twitches. "Since when did you two get so close to the enemy?" Shuten and Tamamo immediately blush, the latter stepping away from me. What can I say, I'm just that guy.

Master interjects. "Ignoring him... will you really not believe our story?" She doesn't seem mad or disappointed, just curious. I guess she must have experience with this.

Akiha shrugs. "It's not about believing you or not, in fact I do. You have way too much informations about me after all... It's about the fact that I plan on winning this war. With that said... stay out of our way, and we will do the same." I suppose that's the best we can ask for.

Master raises an eyebrow. "So... you're essentially neutral?"

Akiha nods. "Yes, although... if you do find concrete proof about a genuine threat I would not mind lending my support. I won't let this town turn into rubble." As expected of the prideful and responsible girl I know.

Master nods back. "Got it... So you met Berserker before? Any information you mind giving about them?" She sighs. "Though I already have an idea on who it might be..."

Akiha smiles. "Sure, in fact I don't mind telling everything I know. Our goals aren't incompatible after all... First Berserker's true name is Kiyohime." Master's face clearly shows she expected this.

"She burned down a park, presumably to kill someone else. Once Assassin showed up to interven she escaped with a Command Seal... She's a dangerous threat to the town. Eliminate her." She speaks as if it's an order.

"But there are other problems here. Arcueid Brunestud is roaming around the town blindly, though she seems rather harmless." She feels like the type of person we could bring to our side.

"There's also a executor of the Burial Agency of the city... I don't think she's a match for a Servant, but keep an eye on her." And this must be Senpai. Another person who would definitely help.

A grimace appears on her face. "But worst of all... The town has a Dead Apostle Ancestor who is wandering around. I don't know if he's a Master or not, but he certainly has been feasting on the city." I...!

I can't help it, I end up clenching my fists. "Vlov...! It's Vlov Arkhangel right!?" I guess we are going to have another rematch then. I can't wait to bury that bastard another goddamn time.

Akiha tilts her head. "Vlov...? No, I never even heard of him." Eh? "It's the tenth. And he's dangerous, enough so that I worry not even Caster and Assassin combined could kill him." Who the fuck is the tenth!?

Master interjects. "Well, we will handle him somehow! So... can we please use your leyline?" As long as we manage that, then I suppose our mission was a success, even though we couldn't exactly recruit Akiha.

The world's scariest little sister glares at my Master. "You expect me to give you free access to my leyline?" So we failed the main mission, great.

I look up. "I need some Sensei guidance right now..." Maybe we can find her wandering around town?

Suddenly Shuten sits on my lap, making me realize she has a surprisingly big ass. Life is good again. "Oh, don't worry, I can give you some guidance~." She has a bottle of some liquor in handle. "Or this bad boy over here can!"

And then she gets her arm pulled by Tamamo. "Get your butt off the enemy, Assassin!" She suddenly smiles. "Or I'll curse the both of you, okay ?" Definitely not okay!? Why am I getting involved!?

Akiha's hair becomes red. "Assassin! Caster!" I can feel she's about to punish these two, which probably means it's about time Master and I leave.

But before that, Master sends a grin at my direction. "You sure work fast... A successful Orion, how scary." I think Shuten and Tamamo are just weirdos to be honest, but I sure do like being called successful!

Rika glares at me. "You have no idea, Master..." Sorry, but it's not like I did much flirting.

Suddenly Tamamo points at me. "Don't misunderstand, I haven't been day dreaming about becoming his wife at all!" She looks at Hisui. "I definitely haven't Master! I'm a pure and serious woman!"

Hisui takes a step back. "Legendary heroes are agressive..." Yeah, this is definitely too much little sister. Also, I have a feeling she broke Caster's heart just now, but it's okay, for Hisui can commit no sin.

Yeah, she can commit no sin, even though Tamamo is crying on the floor right now.

Shuten tilts her head. "Um..." She seems to be lost in thought. "It's just lust, right...?" And then she raises a hand and touches her own chest. A few moments of silence pass with her eyes closed.

And then she suddenly opens them, a bright red blush on her face. "Master, I'm scared!" Without waiting to hear a response, Shuten runs off the room. Akiha can only watch in confusion.

Kohaku giggles. "Heroic Spirits certainly are something special..." I don't want to hear anything from you.

"Tada!" I present my friends with my ultimate find! A wooden box! "Pretty creepy right? This is totally worthy of the founding of our club right!?" It's an occult club after all. Since I got reincarnated I have been abusing anime tropes, and I don't plan on stopping!

Rika, my first childhood friend, tilts her head. "Eh...? I don't wanna judge you Yuta, but... you totally bought this in some random shop, didn't you?" She pokes it. "It doesn't look creepy at all."

Is this how you repay me doing you a favor!? It seems you need more training! And by that I mean more positive affection!

This club was actually done partially to make Rika happy after all, since she's been into creepy things lately. It also doesn't help that the only other club that the school would let Rika attend is chess.

She can't join a sports club after all, considering she needs a wheelchair to move around and all.

Sacchin, childhood friend nĂºmero dois interjects. "C'mon Rika, you know Yuta isn't the type to put half-effort." What's half-effort about buying something creepy from a shop... so demanding.

Rika pouts, she ended up being a bit of a tsundere. Maybe because I showered her with way too much affection post the accident? "Whatever. You shouldn't even be here Sacchin, you look pale." The girl flinches.

And I smile. "Well, it is true that you're looking pale... are you sure you recovered Sacchin? We could postpone this legendary moment just for you!" She recently missed some days due to being sick, and maybe she still needs some time.

Sacchin shakes her head. "No, you don't need to do that. I'm just fine!" That kinda makes me feel like you're definitely not fine, but I suppose I might as well end this so you can go home already.

I nod. "Okay then..." A smirk appears on my face. "And you were right Sacchin, I really didn't get this from some random amount of yen! I actually found it in some little abandoned shrine and nabbed it!" It was a pretty momentous occasion.

Sacchin covers her mouth. "Theft!? You stole from a shrine!?"

Rika grins. "Theft!? You stole from a shrine!?" Amazing.

I chuckle. "Don't worry... I can always put it back later." I put my hands on top of it. "Now let's open it, to be honest I haven't even checked the inside of it, so maybe we can find some cool creepy old statue of the Buddha or whatever." Realistically we probably won't.

Sacchin crosses her arms. "Or donations. This is totally wrong..." Weren't you hyping me up a moment ago? Please have some trust in me and let me break the law! Specially since I totally didn't groom you!

By the way, I'm dating these two women.

Rika joins her hands together in prayer. "Please be donations..." Oi, you are not that bad financially speaking! "Huh?" Suddenly Rika notices something. "You... you have a big bruise on your hand Yuta. Isn't that hurting?"

Sacchin gasps. "That's true! It looks really bad too!" it absolutely doesn't, but I understand that a man's girlfriend will naturally worry about things like this.

I wave them off. "It's fine, I'm not even feeling any pain. I probably just hit it yesterday or something." Actually I did feel a pretty sharp pain on it earlier. Maybe a bug bit me? Ah, I don't care. "Now let's open this thing!" I take the top away as fast as possible.

"Huh...? A... finger?"

AN: Sacchin is making Yuta live Rika's twilight fantasies without their knowledge. How sweet of her.
