Lincoln was in vanilla's house cooking when he suddenly got a call from sonic
"hello?" Lincoln said
"hey Lincoln so basically eggman kinda sorta made all of my friends act like him so I need your help fixing this." Sonic said
"why do you need my help?" Lincoln asked
"well I don't want to hurt them." Sonic said
"sonic I am the last person you should call if you don't want them to get hurt." Lincoln said "but I can send Lily over."
"I'll take it!" Sonic said before a crash was heard
"it sounds like a mess there." Lincoln said "I'll have her over in a jiffy."
he then hanged up
"hey lily mind going to help sonic for me while I cook dinner?" Lincoln asked
"sure!" Lily and the phantom ruby said in unison before immediately teleporting away
"that's a bit unnerving." Lincoln said before resuming his cooking
meanwhile
"I'm back with popcorn!" Dr. Eggman said as he watched sonic dodge his friends attacks
"oh great." Sonic said
suddenly Lily teleported in while wearing a cloak
"I'm here to-" Lily began before getting hit by knuckles and sent flying into the base's computer monitor
"dang it now i need a new monitor ." Dr. Eggman said as the egghead heroes laughed at lily's pain
the lily's eyes glowed magenta as she slowly got up
"I was going to take it easy on you but you've lost that privilege." The phantom ruby said as they let their energy flow
unbeknownst to her some of the energy got into the computer's hard drive and latched on to a program
the sounds of bones cracking could be heard as the phantom ruby used its power to transform lily's body into something stronger
by the end of it Lily was a werefox and a pretty big one too
"is it just me or do they look like tails-" eggman began before getting punched in the face by the werefox sending him flying into the other room along with orbot and cubot
"enough talk punch time." The phantom ruby said before lunging at the eggheads
they tried to attack but they were easily overwhelmed by the werefox and with the werefox's extendable limbs allowed the phantom ruby to attack from greater distances
soon they were all in a pile unconscious
"thanks for the help." Sonic said
"you're welcome." The phantom ruby said as they let Lily take the reins
However, they forgot to turn her back to the old form
in a confused mess Lily ran to sonic and bit his arm
"oh that's not good!" Sonic said trying to shake Lily off his arm
then the phantom ruby regained control
"sorry didn't think that would happen." The phantom ruby said
then sonic's friends began to wake up
"Quick! Put on a disguise!" Sonic said
the phantom ruby read sonic's mind and found a form it could take
the phantom ruby immediately transformed into sonic's sister Sonia
"are you kidding me?" Sonic asked "my sister?!"
"I'm improvising!" The phantom ruby said masking their voice
soon the other's began to fully wake up
"hey sonic what happened?" Amy asked
(I removed their memory of what happened) the phantom ruby said in sonic's head (so let's just play it cool)
"uh sonic who is that?" Tails asked once everyone was up
"this is my sister Sonia." Sonic lied
"hi!" The phantom ruby said "Bye!"
and with that they left
once out of sight they turned back into the fox form before teleporting back home and giving control back to lily
"oh hey you're back." Lincoln said "how'd it go?"
"pretty good." Lily said
the next day
"I can't believe that plan went down the drain because of a new fox." Dr eggman said installing his new monitor "there all done."
he turned it on and there was a white and red haired little girl on the screen
"hello father." The girl said
this confused the doctor for a minute until realizing there was one thing on that computer that could possibly call him that
"Sage?" Dr. Eggman asked
"yes." Sage said before giving herself a holographic form "I have been completed."
"but how? that new fox was slammed into the computer monitor and destroyed it." Dr. Eggman asked "I didn't have time to complete you."
"that fox was surrounded by a unique energy." Sage said "it accelerated my growth as an Ai."
"incredible." Dr. Eggman said "perhaps I can get some more and upgrade these two."
he gestured to orbot and cubot
Sage giggled at that
"now then." Dr.eggman said "orbot cubot could you take sage outside for a little bit while I read some parenting books?"
"yes sir." Orbot said
"got it boss!" Cubot said
Sage with a wave of her hand constructed a human like robot body and entered it shocking the 3 before the mad doctor figured it had something to do with the energy she was exposed to
"let's go." Sage said before turning to her father "father do you wish for me to take some robots to destroy sonic?"
"not at the moment we don't want to reveal your true nature as an Ai yet." Dr.eggman said "but for now go have fun!"
"yes father." Sage said before the 3 left
meanwhile
sonic woke up very late in the afternoon with his scarf in tatters
he briefly remembered the night before he had turned into...something and had clawed at his scarf because it bothered him
"let's hope that doesn't happen again." Sonic said to himself
he left his house and headed to meh burger for breakfast
"hey Dave can I get a chilli dog?" Sonic asked
"sorry sonic something broke in and ate all the chilli dog ingredients raw." Dave the intern said
"raw? Who does that!?" Sonic asked
sonic left Meh burger before realizing that it was in fact him who did that
(oh...well let's hope no one finds out about that.) sonic thought to himself
then he saw orbot cubot and a white and red haired girl enter
confused he decided to investigate
"what do you want sage?" Cubot asked
"a salad and a soup." Sage said
within a few minutes she got her soup and salad
she took a bite of salad and a sip of soup
"the soup is cold and the salad is hot." Sage said "How is that even possible!?"
"this place really defies reality." Orbot said
"clearly." Sage said
"what are you two doing here?" Sonic asked "did you trade egghead for a kid."
"you will not insult my father like that." Sage said
sonic choked on air at that
suddenly Sage felt the presence of more energy
"my father will destroy you later." Sage said "for now I have other matters to attend to. Like finding the source of that energy."
and with that she orbot and cubot teleported to where the energy was
meanwhile
Lily was playing in the forest when she heard the sound of teleportation
she turned and saw orbot and cubot and a white and red haired girl
"I think she's the source of the energy." Orbot said
"Hi I'm Lily want to be friends?" Lily asked
"friends?" Sage asked
Lily nodded
Sage quickly searched the meaning of friends
she nodded
"my name is sage." Sage said "I would like to be your friend."
