A/N: I'm going to be adding a little more spice to Adam and Lute's relationship. Nothing crazy graphic but a little more intense. I have never written smut before and I don't know how I feel about it. If enough people want it I could try but no promises. Let me know in the comments.
The Spice will be at the beginning of the next chapter, hope y'all like it
Temple of The Archangels
Emily was still sitting in the Temple of The Archangels with Sera. Suddenly, Gabriel appeared and walked up to them. He looked at each angel in turn and said, "We have made a decision. We shall help Princess Magne in her decision to help redeem sinners and save their souls." Emily had a relieved smile on her face while Sera had a forced one. She was gripping the chair so hard, that it was starting to crack. She simply flew up and said, "I understand Lord Gabriel, good day." She flew out of the temple and back to her office. Emily flew up to Gabriel with a laugh and gave him a hug. Gabriel smiled at the display of affection and gently returned it. Today was a peaceful day in Heaven, for now at least.
Ars Goetia Manor, Pride Ring
Stolas was looking over an interesting novel when his mirror began to vibrate. Only one person would be doing that. He put his hand over the mirror and the image of Forfax appeared. Stolas smiled, "Hello my dear cousin, how have you been?" Forfax chuckled at the goofy greeting and said, "Things have been stressed, to say the least, Princess Magne's idea has been brought before the Archangels." Stolas spit out some wine he was drinking and asked, "WHAT, what the fuck happened?!" Forfax grimaced and said, "The issue was divided among them. Four Arch's, including Micheal, have agreed to support the princess's plan. Camael, Uriel, and Sariel are opposed to it. Camael just wants to start a war and I am worried about what that might entail." Stolas contemplated that for a few moments before he asked, "Why are you telling me all this?" Forfax looked tired and a little scared. He took a deep breath and said, "I want you to watch your back and be prepared, Camael knows how to start a war and I fear something worse might end up happening. I want you to be careful. I wish you the best cousin and I will pray for your safety." With those final words, Forfax pulled his hand away from the mirror and their connection was cut. Stolas knew what he had to do, he flew into the air and raced toward Lucifer's Castle. He had to inform Lord Morningstar immediately.
Hazbin Hotel, Charlie's Office
Charlie couldn't believe it, her dad had actually come through and protected the hotel. He had saved all of them from the angel's wrath. She had to thank him so she sat down at her desk and picked up her pen. "Dear Dad, Thank you for helping the hotel and for helping me. I was surprised that you would draw such a strong circle of protection around my hotel. I know you think this idea is silly. I just don't understand why the angels think so. This is the chance to reduce overpopulation and increase the number of good souls within their kingdom. I figured they would be thrilled. Perhaps you were right about one thing, perhaps I am naive about some people. That being said, we do have some honest attempts at redemption. We are seeing one o our guests start to change their ways for the better. They won't be going to Heaven anytime soon but they are slowly trying to change. He recently stood up to his boss and protected his friends. He shows real promise and I can't wait to show you that redemption is possible. I love you and I can't thank you enough. I wanted to let you know that my hotel manager protected us as well. There were about one hundred exorcists that attacked and your circle of protection burned two of them. Alastor had created a dome of shadows and sent out several tendrils to attack the oncoming angels. He had absorbed four dozen when all was said and done. It was a pretty impressive display. I just wanted to give you an update and let you know that all is well here at the hotel and with me. Again, I love you very much. Thank you for everything you have done. Best Wishes, Your Daughter, Princess Charlotte Magne.
Emily's Office, Heaven
Currently, Emily is speaking with Adam and Lute. She was seated at her desk and asked, "What is the situation with the other Exorcists? Are there any that support Princess Magne's idea?" Adam sighed in frustration, he turned to Emily and said, "Not much, unfortunately. The majority still support Dahlia and Sera. A ballpark guess might be one hundred. That leaves about nine hundred exorcists who are against us. If any sort of conflict breaks out we will be severely outnumbered. If I were you, I would start preparing for the worst." Lute looked troubled and looked at Adam saying, "We can't give up on them. They may be soldiers but they are also my sisters. I'm sure they can be reasoned with." Emily looked at Lute with a sad expression and said, "We don't know anything for certain but if tensions get much worse here then we may have to face facts. If it comes down to it I am willing to strike my family down. You need to ask yourself if you are willing to do the same. Whatever choice you make is alright but remember. They have been trained as cold-blooded killers for years." Adam gently held Lute as tears started to form. He kissed her head and stroked her back. Emily sighed at the circumstances, she hoped that Charlie was doing better than she was.
Lucifer's Castle
Lucifer was fuming. His circle of protection flared and he knew that the exorcists had tried something. He wanted to fly straight to the gates of Heaven and find the people responsible. His anger was flowing off in waves but he knew he couldn't do anything. He would protect his daughter but he didn't want another war. Aside from Micheal and Charlie, few people knew of his fears and regrets. He regretted starting a rebellion. His pride had blinded him and he had started a war. There was one thing that he forgot in the process. In war, there were always casualties. His rebellion had caused the death of so many angels. That fact still tore him up inside. As he was reminiscing about his past he heard a knock. He looked up and called out, "Come in." His butler quickly walked in and handed him a letter that bared his daughter's seal. He thanked his butler and quickly dismissed him. He quickly opened the letter and smiled. He was glad everything had worked out. Despite his happy mood, the thought of the exorcist's trying something clouded his mind. He needed to talk to his brother and find out what was happening in Heaven.
Review: I ask that all reviews be constructive criticism with suggestions on how to improve my story and writing overall. If you have nothing constructive or nice to say please do not leave a review at all. Don't like the story, don't read it. I know that many people loved the characters created by Vivienne "VivziePop" Medrano exactly as they were but I wanted to write a story and put my own little twist on it. I also saw a disturbing lack of substantial Adam/Lute stories so I wanted to try and rectify that. Best wishes all and hope you enjoy :)
