The shift was over Jack was relieved another miserable day had come and gone, he exited the restaurant and went to the parking expecting to see Arcee there waiting for him, he got on her and then rode off,during the ride Jack noticed that Arcee was quiet,well more than usual "so Arcee how was patrol?"Jack asked trying to start a conversation "it went fine." Arcee responded with a rather disinterest tone Jack looked at her slightly offended, he was about to ask another question until he realized that she probably was upset about the whole cybertronian boyfboyfriend thing so he decided to just keep quiet for now it was then optimus prime's. voice came through the radio, "Autobots return to base immediately." Arcee immediately accelerated and headed towards the base. Meanwhile elsewhere Raf and Bumblebee were sitting next to a curb playing a racing game Rafael was about to win until "Autobots return to base immediately." Raf was disappointed but it was optimus, Bulkhead and Miko were sitting by a curb also listen to Waves by June Divided on the radio until optimus's voice sounded off "Aw bad timing Optimus."Miko said a bit bummed out making Bulkhead chuckle as he drove away.
At the base the autobots watched the video of the decepticons entering into Loch Ness "What are they doing?"Arcee asked Bumblebee buzzed a suggestion "Where are they anyway?"Bulkhead asked curiously Ratchet pulled up the map which showed loch Ness "they're in loch Ness?" Rafael asked in astonishment "Lock what?"Arcee asked "Loch Ness it's a large lake in Scotland, it's 23 miles long and over 700 feet deep and.."Raf couldn't finished as Miko interrupted.
"Yeah yeah very educational, what are they doing at Loch Ness?"Miko asked "it is unknown what they're plan is, which is why we are going to go down to this loch Ness and find out." Optimus Prime said "Are you guys waterproof?"Jack asked curiously "I'm not going to dignify that with a response."Ratchet said with a deadpan tone "Ratchet prepared to groundbridge ,Bulkhead,Bumblebee transform and roll out."Optimus Prime ordered but befor they could do anything Raf stopped them "Wait a minute everyone,there are a few things to know about Loch Ness, it's pitch black down there, you can't see 2 feet in front of you."Raf warned Bumblebee buzzed a reassuring response "Anything else we should know about?"Arcee asked "yeah watch out for Nessie."Miko said making the autobots give her a puzzled look "Who?"Ratchet asked "The Loch Ness Monster her name is Nessie she's a plesiosaur." Miko explained "a what?" Bulkhead asked in confusion "A long necked dinosaur,you guys have much to learn about our planet's history." Miko stated crossing her arms.
Jack rolled his eyes at Miko "Miko the Loch Ness Monster isn't real it's a myth."he said making Miko glare at him " Weren't Aliens a myth too?" she asked rhetorically gesturing at the autobots, Jack knew she had a point there although the universe is big there had to be other forms of life beside humans, "don't worry about her,she's a flesh and blood prehistoric creature she can't hurt cybertronians."Miko said with reassurance. "There's another thing the comlinks don't work underwater,so you won't be able to communicate with us."Ratchet said making everyone pause "oh that's an issue."Jack said "yep."Bulkhead said as Bumblebee nodded Optimus agreed that was an issue but the autobots have faced problems like that before and still came out on top.
"Having communication taken away is nothing new to us we have persevered before, all we must do is stay together."Optimus Prime said "one more thing thing optimus: I just discovered why the decepticons are there,there's an energon stash down there, a rather big one and I detected an autobot life signal."Ratchet said surprising everyone "There's an autobot living in loch Ness?"Raf asked with astonishment "Cool...wait...you don't think Nessie is an autobot is she?"Miko asked with slight disappointment as she wanted it to be an actual dinosaur. "Only one way to find out Autobots roll out!"Optimus Prime ordered Ratchet opened the groundbridge and did something else "i'm sending you the coordinates to the energon it's in a cave."he said as the Autobots entered the portal and came out in Scotland and they stood in front of Loch Ness.
They stared at the water illuminated by the moon Bumblebee buzzed a question regarding Nessie " Don't tell me you're afraid of a Dinosaur."Bulkhead chuckled rather mockingly "whether this Loch Ness Monster exists is not our concern right now,there's energon and an autobot down there against a squadron of Decepticons they need our help."Optimus prime said and without hesitation he jumped into the water with the others following, as they decented they found a dark alien environment "Ugh Raf wasn't kidding." Arcee said as she looked around and all she saw was darkness they touched down at the ground and they activated their head lights "Optimus it's spooky down here."Bulkhead said looking around "This way autobots." Optimus said looking at the map and walking forward with the others following behind.
Meanwhile
The Decepticons continued walking looking all around for anything resembling an autobot,the cover of darkness not exactly helping them at all Steve and Jeff still at the rear, Steve looked around nervously and then he looked to the left of him and an eel swam past his head making him yelp and aim his gun at the animal Jeff turned around and saw the eel disappear into the darkness. Steve growled in frustration "I hate this planet." Jeff shook his head before continuing to walk forward, Steve shook his head and turned around just in time to see a maw with sharp teeth coming at him with frightening speed, Jeff heard Steve yelp again then he felt something strike him in the back hard causing him to fly into a couple of the other vehicons knocking them down.
Starscream looked behind him in confusion then annoyance "What are you doing?" Jeff got up "something hit me, wait where's...?"Jeff asked looking around for Steve "We don't have time for this."Starscream said with irritation "We have a missing bot."jeff said looking around for his friend his light searched around the dark until it landed on an arm laying on the ground, Jeff turned around and was about to say something to Starscream until he felt himself being yanked back into the darkness which spooked everyone else. "What was that?!"A vehicon asked in alarm as everyone else scanned the environment frantically "ok this is getting out of hand.,why did you bring me here?"Knockout asked "quit you whining Knockout and Argh!"Starscream exclaimed as he felt himself being knocked back by something big and powerful, Knockout watched as this mysterious large creature bulldozed through the group and snatched one vehicon in it's jaws disappearing into the darkness.
"Ok that's it I'm out!"Knockout exclaimed in absolute terror trying to look for away out "don't you dare,Hold fast decepticons!"Starscream ordered as he stood up just in time to see a tail coming out of the darkness wacking a couple of vehicon into each other,and then a mechanical Elasmosaurus dashed out of the dark roaring and snatched up another vehicon,Starscream stared at the beast in awe as he never seen something like it before "Is that a Predacon?!"Knockout asked in growing fear "What Predacons swims?"Breakdown asked looking for the beast "whatever it is, it can die just like... "Starcream was knocked to the ground by a thrown vehicon, the others opened fired franticly into the dark trying to hit something.
Breakdown looked around and saw glowing eyes coming up on the right "Look out!"he shouted as the beast burst out and chomp down on a vehicon's head and tail whipped another and bit down on another vehicle's leg and swam into the darkness taking the helpless decepticon with it, Breakdown prepared his rocket launcher to take down the creature. Breakdown waited for a target if he fired into the dark and he didn't hit a thing he would be in deep trouble "Come on come on."Breakdown muttered looking around for anything "We're going to die down here."Knockout whimpered "silence you're distracting me."Starscream snapped pushing knockout back, everyone kept their optics in front of them staring into the dark waiting for the beast.
As they kept looking forward they didn't see the angry glowing eyes slowly coming up right behind them growling softly.
Meanwhile
Up on the nemisis,Shockwave saw that this mysterious autobot was taking out the decepticon squadron with frightening ease their life signals going off line one by one,without a word Shockwave decided to go down there a deal with this autobot himself.
