Hey, guys. Sorry for the long wait. I had to do some research for the Duel in this chapter but I hope I did a good job and you guys are excited for it.

Now let's get on with the chapter.

Chapter 06: Osiris Red vs Obelisk Blue

Academia – Airspace

The Duel Academia is established on a remote island in the Pacific. In preparation for the new semester, which begins in the fall, the students who have passed through the narrow admissions gates have been assembled one after the other.

Asuka looked out of her window and saw Duel Academia in her sights. "Brother…I'm finally here. I will find you no matter what."

Academia – Girls' Locker Room

"This is seriously what I have to wear?" Asuka looked at the girls uniform that she was given. It was a white top with blue trimming, a blue miniskirt and royal blue boots.

"Yes, that is the standard uniform for females." A staff member answered.

"Do you have scissors?" Asuka asked.

"Huh?" The staff member questioned.

Academia – Main Classroom

"This is much better." Asuka sighed as she put some faint lipstick on. She changed the outfit to an open jacket that reached to her waist with gray-blue edges and pockets on each side. Underneath she was wearing a black tank top; grey-blue finger-less gloves with wide cuffs and rectangles cut out over the backs of her hands. She cut her skirt to make it lest restrictive and made it a darker blue color with a gray-blue lining. The only thing that she kept the same was the boots.

As she joined some of the new entry students looked at her with a blush. "Hey, how ya doing?" Asuka waved to them, making them blush harder.

"Welcome, Dueling Elites!" Principal Samejima appeared on the screen. "You all used your skills to open the narrow admission gates. Please have fun studying in hopes of becoming the future Duel King."

With the opening orientation now finished, the new students were free to locate their dorms. "Okay, if I'm right, the dorm for me should be…that way." Asuka headed to the Obelisk Girls' Dorm.

Obelisk Girls' Dorm

"Get lost, weakling!"

Asuka was thrown out of the Girls' Dorm on her butt. "Ow! What the hell, I'm supposed to be in this dorm!"

"Obelisk is for the best of the best; no way are we accepting someone who couldn't even win in their entrance exam." A girl with brown hair insulted Asuka.

"Losers like you don't belong here." A girl with gray hair added.

"Oh yeah, why don't we Duel right now and—Ah!" Asuka yelped as ice cold water was poured all over her, making her wet. Multiple female students laughed as they humiliated Asuka, who glared at them.

Osiris Red – Dorm

"What is this?" Sho moaned. "Is the Osiris Red dorm the only dorm that sucks?"

"Oh yeah? This place has a great view, and it's got appeal!" Judai liked the Osiris Dorm. "Hm? Hey, isn't that?"

Judai and Sho saw Asuka walking towards the Osiris Red Dorm, hugging herself as she grumbled. "Stupid girls…thinking they're so much better…oh I'll show them and the rest of those bigots…"

"Yo!" Judai ran down the steps with Sho behind him. "Your Duel with Professor Serena was so cool! And the fact that you can use Fusion and Ritual Summons was a sight to see."

"Oh, thanks…" Asuka shivered.

"What are you doing here?" Sho asked.

"I was denied access into the girls' dorm. Apparently, it's only winners allowed. And Ra turned me down as well so now here I am, hoping you guys have a spare room." Asuka said.

"Hey, you can bunk with us." Judai offered.

"Do you hear yourself?" Asuka glared at Judai.

"Come on, let's go! Let's go!" Judai pushed Asuka ahead of him.

"H-Hey, I can walk thank you!" Asuka blushed.

"Here is our room!" Judai opened the dorm room. It had your basic necessities such as a desk, mini kitchen and beds. "Well, it's surprisingly small, but there's enough room to live on, and that suits me just fine."

"With us living together, we must be linked together by fate or something!" Sho smiled. "We might be the reincarnations of the Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh, his magician wife and his Priest Seto!" Sho imagined himself as Priest Seto while Judai and Asuka as the Pharoah and his wife.

"Both of your entry exam Duels were so cool. Would you mind if I called you King and Queen, Judai, Asuka?" Sho nervously asked.

"No." Asuka said.

"Yeah, that's kind of weird." Judai agreed.

"Well, how about Big Bro and Big Sis?" Sho asked.

Asuka grabbed Sho's head really tight like she making him wince in pain. "How about you shut your mouth before I shut it for you." Asuka growled.

"S-Sorry…" Sho apologized.

"Now, now…we're all friends! Let's all work together towards becoming the Duel King." Judai said earning a glare from Asuka. "Or Queen." Judai saved himself as he opened the curtains.

"Ah! That's too bright! Shut the curtains!" A new voice shouted.

"Oh, there was someone else here." Sho said.

"S-Sorry, I didn't notice you." Judai apologized.

"So, a couple of new students full of dreams, huh?" The person on the top bunk revealed himself and he looked just like a koala.

"D-Death Koala!" Judai exclaimed while Sho screamed as they hid behind Asuka.

"Don't be rude!" Asuka scolded them. "I'm so sorry, we didn't mean to disturb you, senpai." Asuka apologized.

"I'm no senpai. I'm the first-year failure, Hayato Maeda." Hayato introduced himself.

"Sorry. I'm Judai Yuki."

"I'm Sho Marufuji."

"Asuka Tenjoin, looks like I'll have to camp outside under the stars." Asuka sighed.

"We can still make room for you. We just have to move things around." Judai said.

"Why are you so adamant about me living with you?" Asuka asked.

"What, I want to help you out? You said it yourself that Obelisk and Ra don't want to help you so let us Osiris help you out." Judai said. "Besides, if you live outside, you'll be proving those Obelisk guys right and that you don't belong here. You hate losing, right?"

Asuka looked at Judai before sighing. "If I stay, will you shut up?"

"Alright, we got a new roommate!" Judai smiled.

"Don't get too comfortable, you're in the Red Zone." Hayato said.

"Red Zone?" Sho asked.

"Osiris Red is a beat-up gathering place for the dropouts with horrible grades. Those who are put here don't have a future." Hayato turned to his side.

"You are a ray of sunshine you know that." Asuka sarcastically stated.

Academia – Cliffside

Sho sighed for what seemed like the umpteenth time since leaving the dorm room. "Will you quit sighing?" Asuka was getting annoyed.

"But you heard what he said about us." Sho said.

"Sho, I'm Obelisk, yet I was treated like a loser. This proves that rank doesn't matter." Asuka used herself as an example.

"I guess…" Sho mumbled.

"Sho, you can't give up without even trying." Asuka said. "And you can't be afraid of losing, it's a natural part of life. There's no shame in losing if you give it everything you've got. There's only shame if you didn't try at all."

"Y-You're right…" Sho then got fired up. "You're right! What's the point in feeling down now? Give your all, me! Fight! Hang tough!"

"Hey, where are you going?!" Asuka saw Judai ran off.

"There are people Dueling somewhere!" Judai shouted.

"Of course there's people Dueling somewhere. It's a school that teaches Dueling." Asuka sighed. "He is so exhausting."

Duel Academia – Main Building

"The scent of the Duel is near…" Judai sniffed the air.

"The scent of a Duel?" Sho asked.

"Heel boy." Asuka spoke to Judai like a dog.

"Whoa, check it out!" Judai exclaimed as they made it to a Duel Arena.

"Amazing! This Duel Field is installed with the latest equipment!" Sho was amazed by the field. "The sound equipment and virtual system are all-new versions! Man, am I jealous…I'd like to Duel in a place like this."

"Alright, then let's do it!" Judai shouted.

"You can't, idiot." Asuka said.

"What makes you say that?" Judai asked.

"One, they haven't distributed Duel Disks to us yet. Second, there's no Dueling during Freshman Orientation. And finally, there's two Obelisk nerds on the field and they are gonna walk up with some lame excuse for us not to use it. And they're already here." Asuka pointed out as two Obelisk Blue students approached them. One had glasses and the other had a sharp haircut.

"The lady is right." The one with glasses answered.

"You Osiris Red Dropout Boys don't belong here! Take look there." The sharp haircut one pointed to the Obelisk Crest above the entrance.

"The Obelisk Crest means that it belongs to only students in Obelisk Blue." The one in glasses answered.

"Sorry, we didn't know. Let's get back to our dorm, Big Bro, Big Sis." Sho said.

"I told you not to call me that." Asuka sighed.

"Hm…that somehow doesn't sit well with me. Well then, you wanna play me? That'd be okay, right?" Judai pointed to the Obelisk Blue students.

"Wait, you're…"

"Manjoume, it's Number 110, the one who beat Professor Chronos!"

Manjoume, who was leaning back in the seats of the arena stood up and looked at Judai. "Hey, I'm Judai Yuki. Nice to meet ya! So, who's he?" Judai asked, making Manjoume angry.

"You don't know who Manjoume is? He's a first year like us, but he's Number 1 of the super elites, tried and true from middle school!" The one with glasses answered.

"He's the much talked about future Duel King, the great Jun Manjoume!" The sharp haircut one added.

"That's weird…" Judai crossed his arms. "I mean, the Duel King is Number 1, right? And I'm this academy's Number 1, after all!"

"QUIT AHEADING OF YOURSELVES YOU STUPID MORONS!" Asuka completely lost her temper and made all of the boys tremble in fear.

"B-Big Sis…" Sho uttered.

Asuka took a deep breath. "You Obelisk Blue's are a disgrace. You're nothing like my older brother described." She then looked at Judai. "And I thought you were different, but I was wrong, you're worse than them." Asuka huffed and walked away.

"What's her problem?" Judai was confused as to why Asuka got so mad. "And how am I worse than them?"

"Tenjoin…is your brother's disappearance affecting you more than I thought?" Manjoume wondered.

Osiris Red Dorm – Dining Room

Big dinners were happening all over the island to celebrate the start of the new year. Both the Obelisk and Ra dorms got exquisite and delicious cuisines to welcome the new students. Osiris Red, however…

"What's this?!"

"The other dorms had an incredible feast!"

"And to make things worse, our dorm leader isn't even human!"

"He's a cat."

The Osiris Red meal was only a bowl of rice, some fish, soup and pieces of fruit. And at the head table was a chubby cat.

"If you don't like it then leave this school!" All of the Osiris Red students felt chill down their spines as Professor Serena entered the dining room.

"Holy shit…"

"We have Professor Serena."

"We're dead, we're so dead."

The Osiris Red students mumbled as they had the toughest Professor as their dormitory leader. They were all trembling in fear as Serena glared at them with her harsh look.

Serena then sighed and her expression changed to that of a gentle one, surprising the others. "I apologize if I scared any of you. But I want you all to listen to me. You've all probably heard that Osiris Red is just a place for failures or dropouts, but you want to know what I see. I see potential in each and every one of you."

"My job as a professor is to help you all realize your potential so that way, you'll grow to be exceptional Duelists. Even if your dream is no to be a Pro Duelist, any job that revolves around Duel Monsters has to have a basic mastery and understanding of the game. I will do my best to give each of you the proper training and education on your path towards the future. All I ask in exchange is that you give it a 110%. And please, talk to me if you have problems or concerns. I'm here to help you, both as a teacher and a friend."

"Delicious!" Everyone turned to Judai, who was just enjoying the meal.

"T-That's tasteless, Big Bro." Sho stuttered.

"Really? It's awfully delicious to me!" Judai kept eating.

"Th-That's not what I meant…The Professor was introducing herself…" Sho said.

Serena made her way to Judai and Sho, Judai looked up and he saw Serena with a sweet smile but releasing menacing aura. "Judai Yuki, right?" Serena asked.

"Y-Yes…" Judai sweated a little.

"You'll be on dish duty for a month." Serena said.

"H-Huh?! A month?!" Judai complained.

"Would you rather I take away your meals for a month?" Serena asked.

"I-I'll do dish duty…" Judai whimpered.

"Now onto another matter, everyone please welcome Asuka Tenjoin into our dorm." Serena went to Asuka, who sat by herself.

"Um, Professor, not that I'm complaining about it but isn't it against the rules for girls to be in a boy's dorm?" An Osiris Red student asked.

"Yes, it is against the rules, but due to her grades on the entrance exam, I requested that she would live with us." Serena said.

"Wait, you're the reason I wasn't allowed to live in the Obelisk Dorm?" Asuka asked.

"You wouldn't like it anyway, it's too big and it gets lonely." Serena said. "Now then, let us feast and once again, welcome to Duel Academy."

"Thank you for the meal." The students thanked for their food and ate it.

Osiris Red – Dorm 210

"Man, I'm so full but I can't move my arms!" Judai groaned as he laid on the floor. "I can't believe Professor Serena made me do all the dishes twice."

"That's your own fault for being an idiot." Asuka insulted as she tied her hair in a ponytail. Serena had managed to move another bed into the dorm room for Asuka to sleep in.

"And the dishes increased because you had more than one serving." Sho added as he poured some tea.

"Say, what is your problem with me?" Judai asked Asuka. "I didn't do anything wrong. I just wanted to be your friend."

"Maybe I don't want to be your friend." Asuka said. "Geez, can't you stop thinking about only yourself."

"Huh?" Judai was confused.

"Tea?" Sho offered a cup to Asuka.

"Thank you." Asuka accepted the tea and drank it.

"Hayato? Tea?" Sho asked.

"No thank you." Hayato grumbled.

"And why not? Sho went to all that trouble to brew it up and everything!" Judai pointed out.

"It's not that he's a bad cook or anything. I'm depressed about our predicament, so I haven't been able to swallow a bite of food." Hayato answered.

Asuka looked at Hayato as she thought back to a conversation she had with Serena.

Osiris Red Dorm – Dining Room (1 hour ago)

"Asuka, can I talk to you?" Serena stopped Asuka from leaving.

"What is it?" Asuka asked.

"What do you think of your roommates?" Serena asked.

"Judai is so annoying and only thinks about himself. Sho is too timid and shy to have any confidence in himself. And Hayato has given up on everything because he failed last year. In all honesty, I don't think they can make it to the end of the year." Asuka said.

"I see…" Serena said. "In that case, I'm giving you a year long project."

"What? You're giving me an assignment already?!" Asuka exclaimed.

"Don't worry, it's an easy one. You're gonna make sure that Judai, Sho and Hayato not only make it to the end of the year, but they also pass their promotion exams." Serena explained the assignment.

"I mean what I said before. I see potential in all these students but there's only so much I can do for them." Serena said. "And in all honesty, you being here is a blessing for not just those three but all of the Osiris Red students, you've seen how they are treated, you hate it don't you."

"No, I don't. But I can't do your assignment." Asuka said. "I might do something for Sho and Hayato, but Judai is impossible. He's so arrogant just because he defeated Professor Chronos in the entrance exam. I can't stand people like that. He doesn't get how cruel Dueling can be."

Just remembering how the students laughed and looking down on others made Asuka's blood boil And Judai having fun while not noticing what's going on around him made it worse.

"Just have him watch you Duel." Serena said. "Maybe watching you can trigger a change. You don't have to be friends with him or the others, but it will be good for you to help them. And who knows, maybe they can help you find your brother."

Osiris Red Dorm – Room 210

"How could they help me find my brother?" Asuka thought as she gave a side glance to Judai, Sho and Hayato.

Suddenly, Asuka's PDA went off showing that she got a video message. It was Junko and Momoe. "Hey, Dropout Girl. Come to the Duel Field at midnight. We're gonna show you why you don't belong here. Or run away like a coward."

"Oh, a Duel. This will be interesting." Judai peaked over Asuka's shoulder.

"Personal boundaries!" Asuka pushed Judai away. "Stay here, I'm going alone."

"No can do. When there's a Duel, I got to see it. It's interesting and fun." Judai gave a goofy smile.

"I-I'll go too…" Sho offered as well.

"I'll stay here…" Hayato turned over on his bed.

Asuka sighed. "You guys are really…" Asuka then remembered what Serena told her and sighed. "Fine, but we're all going."

Asuka then went to the ladder and climbed up to Hayato. "I'm not gonna let you waste your life away when you could be finding inspiration to pass this year." Asuka pulled Hayato out of bed.

"O-Ow! How are you so strong?" Hayato yelped as Asuka dragged him by the ear.

Duel Academia – Duel Field

Judai made a teasing sound as he, Sho and Hayato followed Asuka. "What's so funny?" Asuka glared at Judai.

"It's just you stopped me from Dueling those Obelisk guys and yet here you are taking up on their challenge after they provoked you. So, you do have the heart of a Duelist." Judai smiled.

"I stopped you because you were super arrogant and annoying. Obelisk First Years are strong for a reason, they had three years of experience in Duel Prep Middle School." Asuka explained.

"But I thought you said ranking doesn't matter." Sho remembered what Asuka to him earlier.

"Ranking doesn't matter in an actual Duel. When you step on the field, rank, titles, gender, win-loss record are irrelevant." Asuka narrowed her eyes as she saw Junko and Momoe. "It's just ordinary Duelists facing each other. That's all."

"So you didn't chicken out, Dropout Girl." Junko smirked. "And you brought your boy toys to cheer you on."

"She's so desperate for attention." Momoe added.

"I've only brought them here so they can see that nothing is impossible in a Duel." Asuka said. "And if anyone's desperate for attention it's you two." Asuka pointed. "I don't use clown makeup or stuff my chest to get guys to look at me."

"Stuff their chest with what?" Sho asked.

"I don't know?" Judai shrugged his shoulders. "Coconuts maybe."

"Time to put you in your place, bitch!" Junko activated her Duel Disk.

"That's my line!" Asuka activated her Duel Disk.

"Duel!" Asuka and Junko declared.

Junko LP: 4000, Hand: 5
Asuka LP: 4000, Hand: 5

"I'm going first! Draw!" Junko drew her card. "I activate the Field Magic: Umi!" The entire field became an open ocean.

"Ah, help I can't swim!" Sho started to drown.

"Sho, it's shallow." Hayato said, making Sho realize that he was okay.

"As long as Umi is on the field, all Fish, Sea Serpent, Thunder and Aqua type monsters gain 200 Attack and Defense Points. However, Machine and Pyro-type lose 200 Attack and Defense Points." Junko explained.

"Next, I summon Mermaid Knight (ATK: 1500, LV: 4)!" Junko summoned a Mermaid with a sword and armor. "She gains power thanks to Umi.

Mermaid Knight (ATK: 1500→1700)

"I set one card and end my turn!" Junko finished her turn.

Junko LP: 4000, Hand: 3
Asuka LP: 4000, Hand: 5

"Just like those Osiris Red losers, you're gonna lose shamefully." Junko insulted.

"You leave them out of this." Asuka glared at Junko. "Professor Serena says there's potential in them, and I believe her. That's why I'm gonna defeat you in this Duel!"

"My turn! Draw!" Asuka drew her card. "I summon Cyber Tutu (ATK: 1000, LV: 3)!" Asuka summoned Cyber Tutu.

"Huh? But her monster is weaker, why did she summon it in Attack Position?" Sho was confused.

"Wow, you're more of an idiot than I thought, playing a weak monster in Attack Position." Junko laughed.

"That's why you're a Dropout Girl." Momoe insulted.

"Cyber Tutu's Monster Effect! If my opponent only has monsters with more Attack Points than her, she's allowed to attack the opponent directly!" Asuka revealed.

"Alright, that means she doesn't have to worry about Mermaid Knight at all." Judai smiled.

"Battle! Cyber Tutu! Direct Attack! Nouvelle Pointe!" Cyber Tutu charged towards Junko.

"So easy! I activate the Continuous Trap: Tornado Wall!" Junko played her set card and the whole ocean became tornados that blocked Cyber Tutu.

"She blocked the attack!" Hayato's eyes widened.

"Tornado Wall is a trap that can only be activated when I have Umi on the field. It nullifies any damage to my Life Points. Now you can't damage me whether it's by battle or by card effects." Junko smirked.

"Geez, you really think we didn't plan ahead. How stupid can you get?" Momoe laughed.

"Tornado Wall is a troublesome card, but the key is Umi. As long as that card is on the field, she can play some powerful cards." Asuka looked at her hand. "This card can take care of Umi, but I need to survive this turn."

"I set two cards and end my turn." Asuka finished her turn.

Junko LP: 4000, Hand: 3
Asuka LP: 4000, Hand: 3

"My turn! Draw!" Junko drew her card. "I summon Mermaid Shark (ATK: 100, LV: 1)!" Junko summoned a mermaid with a shark as part of its body. "When this monster is Normal Summoned, I can add a Level 3, 4 or 5 Fish-type monster from my deck to my hand! I add Cure Mermaid to my hand!"

"Next, I activate the Magic Card: Fusion!" Junko played Fusion.

"She's gonna Fusion Summon!" Sho panicked.

"I fuse the Mermaid Shark on the field with the Cure Mermaid and Rainbow Marine Mermaid in my hand!" The three monsters entered the spiraling vortex. "Mermaid of the depths. Mermaid that heals. Mermaid of the Seven Colors. Join together in the ocean's vortex and become the ultimate beauty. Fusion Summon!" Junko put her hands together. "Appear! Level 7! Mermaid Princess (ATK: 2450, LV: 7)! Appearing was a large mermaid with long green hair and eyes who wielded a bow and arrow in her hand. It gained more power with Umi.

Mermaid Princess (ATK: 2450→2650)

"A Triple Monster Fusion." Hayato said.

"Whoa, that's so cool!" Judai was amazed.

"Big Bro, whose side are you on!" Sho yelled at Judai.

"I activate my Trap Card: Naraka Pitfall! When my opponent summons a monster with 1500 or more Attack Points, that monster is destroyed and then banished!"

"That won't work! With Umi on the field, Mermaid Princess cannot be destroyed by Trap Cards!" Junko shouted. Asuka's Trap Card became useless.

"Battle! Mermaid Knight, attack Cyber Tutu!" Mermaid Knight charged towards Cyber Tutu.

"I activate my Quick-Play Magic: Prima Light! This card releases Cyber Tutu and let's me Special Summon Cyber Prima from my hand! Appear! Cyber Prima (ATK: 2300, LV: 6)!" Asuka summoned a stronger monster.

"Alright, nice moves!" Judai cheered. "With this, Umi is history."

"No, it won't." Hayato said.

"What do you mean? Cyber Prima can destroy Magic Cards when it's summoned, right?" Judai questioned.

"Osiris Red will always be idiots." Momoe said.

"Too bad your plan to destroy Umi didn't work." Junko said.

"Cyber Prima's Monster Effect destroys all face-up Magic Cards on the field…but only when it's Advanced Summon." Asuka sadly stated.

"Because Cyber Prima was Special Summoned, the effect doesn't apply." Hayato said. "Which means Umi stays on the field."

"No way…" Sho said.

"Mermaid Knight can't destroy your monster, but Mermaid Princess can! Mermaid Princess, attack Cyber Prima! Aqua Arrow!" Mermaid Princess fired an arrow that pierced Cyber Prima's chest and destroyed her.

Asuka LP: 4000→3650

The arrow then struck Asuka on her shoulder, making her wince in pain. "Wh-What?"

"At this moment, Mermaid Princess's additional effect activates! When it destroys an opponent's monster in battle, I can inflict damage equal to the Attack Points of one of the material monsters that was used to Fusion Summon her! I choose Rainbow Marine Mermaid's 1550 Attack Points!" Asuka grunted as she fell to her knees.

Asuka LP: 3850→2100

"At least the Battle Phase is over." Sho said.

"Mermaid Knight! Direct Attack!" Mermaid Knight charged and slashed at Asuka, making her grunt again in pain.

Asuka LP: 2100→400

"How was Mermaid Knight able to attack again?" Sho was confused.

"Mermaid Knight has an effect that allows it to attack twice so long as Umi is on the field. If Asuka didn't stop that first attack, she would've lost." Hayato said.

"Asuka…" Judai looked at Asuka with concern.

"My victory is all but determined. I set one card and end my turn!" Junko finished her turn.

Junko LP: 4000, Hand: 0
Asuka LP: 400, Hand: 2

"It's not…over yet…" Asuka stood up.

"It is over. Even if you managed to Fusion Summon your Cyber Blader, as long as I have Tornado Wall, I won't receive any damage. The same thing can be said for your Ritual Summons." Junko said.

"It was obviously gonna end like this. No way were we gonna lose to someone who couldn't even beat Professor Serena when she was clearly holding back." Momoe said.

"Just give up like you did back in Duel Prep School. That's all you're ever good at." Junko said.

"Shut up!" Asuka shouted. "Shut up, you don't know what I've been through. What I lost? What I hope to get back? Dueling is not just a game for me!" Asuka had tears in her eyes. "It's my last hope!"

"Asuka…" Judai, Sho and Hayato were surprised to see Asuka like this.

"I'm ending this Duel this turn. My turn! Draw!" Asuka drew her card. "I activate Pot of Greed! I draw two cards from my deck!"

"I activate the Field Magic: Fusion Gate!" The sky turned into a spiraling vortex. "As long as this card is on the field, both of us are allowed to Fusion Summon without using a Fusion Magic card by banishing the materials from our hand or fields!"

"I already told you that your Cyber Blader won't work here!" Junko shouted.

"I have more Fusion Monsters than Cyber Blader!" Asuka revealed.

"What?" Junko gasped.

"Time for payback! I fuse Cyber Angel Benten, Cyber Angel Idaten and Cyber Angel Dakini!" Asuka's three monsters went into the spiraling vortex.

"She's using her Ritual Monsters for a Fusion Summon!" Momoe exclaimed.

"Angel of multiple blades! Angel of grace! Angel of beauty! Become one and give creation to a new angel of light! Fusion Summon! Appear! Level 10! Cyber Divine Angel – Kisshoten (ATK: 3200, LV: 10)!" Appearing was a female angel with two fans and a long sharp spear on her back.

"Amazing…" Judai said.

"She's so pretty." Sho admitted.

"Yeah." Hayato agreed.

"B-But, even if you attack, I won't take any damage!" Junko said.

"Cyber Divine Angel Kisshoten's effect is determined by the number of Cyber Angel Ritual Monsters used to summon her." Asuka said. "Since I used three Ritual Monsters, all face-up Magic and Trap cards on your field have their effects negated!"

"Wh-What?!" Junko gasped as the Kisshoten waved her fans and the Umi disappeared. Then to everyone's surprise, Mermaid Princess suddenly felt weak.

Mermaid Princess (ATK: 2450→0)

"Mermaid Princess's Attack Points went down to 0?" Sho was confused.

"Damn it…if Mermaid Princess is on the field while there is no Umi, her original Attack and Defense Points become 0." Junko cursed.

"Relax, Junko. You'll still survive this turn!" Momoe said.

"Yeah, I should survive. I may not be able to activate my Trap Card, but I'll still have Life Points. I'm safe for now." Junko said.

"I said I'm ending this Duel now!" Asuka said. "Battle! Cyber Divine Angel Kisshoten, attack Mermaid Princess!" Cyber Divine Angel Kisshoten put away her fans and grabbed her spear. "When Cyber Divine Angel Kisshoten battles a Special Summoned monster, it gains 500 Attack Points times that monster's level!" Asuka revealed.

"What?!" Junko gasped.

"Mermaid Princess is Level 7, so 7 times 500…" Sho counted with his fingers.

"3500 Attack Points." Hayato did the math.

Cyber Divine Angel Kisshoten (ATK: 3200→6700)

"6700 Attack Points! Cool!" Judai smiled.

"Divine Spear of Retribution!" Kisshoten hurled her spear at Mermaid Princess destroying it instantly and creating a blast that sent Junko flying off of her feet.

Junko LP: 4000→0

Winner: Asuka Tenjoin

"She did it!" Sho cheered.

"Way to go, Asuka!" Judai yelled.

"Amazing…" Hayato was amazed.

"Are you alright, Junko?" Momoe asked as she went to her friend.

"Damn it, I lost to a dropout…" Junko growled.

Asuka stood before Junko and Momoe. "Tell the other Obelisk Blues to leave Osiris Red alone, otherwise they'll answer to me." Asuka walked away.

Academia – Outside

"Big Sis Asuka, that was so cool. Can you teach me some techniques?" Sho asked.

"Sure, but on one condition." Asuka said.

"Okay, I'll stop calling you Big Sis." Sho relented.

"I want you to be more confident in yourself." Asuka ruffled Sho's hair. "So chin up, little bro." Asuka smiled.

"Y-Yes…" Sho blushed a little.

"Asuka…" Hayato said. "After seeing you Duel, I want to come to grips with Dueling again. I don't know if I want to be a Pro Duelist, but I love this game and I want to find what I'm passionate about and I believe Dueling will be the answer."

"Hayato…" Asuka looked at him.

"So, please. Train me as well." Hayato bowed.

Asuka scratched her cheek. "It's kind of weird that you're asking your kouhai for help, Hayato-senpai. But I'll do my best."

"Alright, the four of us are gonna be great friends!" Judai said. "Asuka, Duel me right now! It'll be fun!"

"Dueling is not just fun!" Asuka bellowed at Judai, making him step back a bit. "Dueling is more than that to me…It's Dueling that give me hope to see him again…"

"See who?" Judai asked.

"Grow up, Ahodai." Asuka walked away, leaving the Osiris trio concerned with her.

And that is the end of Chapter 06 of Shattered World. What did you all think of the changes. Serena is the dorm leader of Osiris Red and Asuka is bunking with them, but unlike before, she and Judai are off to a rocky start. For those that don't know Japanese, Aho means idiot.
