As we descend down the stairs into the first floor, I hear the distinct ping of the system. The blue screen pops up with my first real mission.

As Bella and I ran to follow her we only witnessed 5 clouds of dust as the Magic Stones fell to the floor. Laffey had used her sword to decapitate all 5 before they even knew what happened.

We encounter 2 small groups of goblins and kobolds, but Laffey kills all but 1 every time so I get a chance to fight. The Kobolds were simple as they were very dumb, and goblins were not much harder. I was able to easily kill them without embarrassing myself too much.

That 15 in the first floor alone. As we make our way down the next two floors we encounter a few more monster groups but they are still too weak to pose a good challenge for me much less Laffey.

We manage to make our way to the 4th floor before I had Laffey leave me 2 monsters to fight at once. They give a good challenge for me as my stats are still low and while fighting a pair of goblins I feel my sword swinging twice as fast. I effortlessly killed both quickly as they couldn't react to my new speed.
"Wow Laffey, Annihilation Mode is kind of broken. It's weird feeling my attack speed go up so much mid fight but definitely helpful." I am so glad I picked that ability.

That's half the mission done as we enter the 5th floor's passageway. We walk around and it's fairly quiet. Me and Bella are working up a nice sweat while Laffey looks like she's walking through a nice park.
As I spot a single Dungeon Lizard up ahead, I try to sneak up behind it. As I swing my sword and it dissolves into dust I realize my mistake. I see a group of at least 30 monster in a room I couldn't see the entrance to until I was already in front of it. As they all notice me, I begin to sprint towards Laffey.
