Ryou stood outside the door to Malik's room. There was shouting going on inside. Malik and his siblings were speaking Arabic. Ryou could speak Arabic just well enough to understand what they were saying.
"How come you won't talk to us? What are we doing wrong?" Ishizu was shouting.
"I just need some space! I've already told you everything I wanted to tell you! Don't press me any further!" Malik was shouting.
"But why won't you trust us?" Ishizu said desperately.
"Are you still afraid of your Other Personality? He's gone now. He can't hurt you anymore," Rishid said.
"Could you stop bringing him up all the time? Maybe sending him to the Shadow Realm really wasn't the right decision," Malik said.
"Don't say that! You made the right decision to get rid of him. He was bad and he did bad things to you. He deserves to rot in hell!" Ishizu said.
"Stop saying that!" Malik shouted.
There was more arguing after that. Ryou waited until the shouted died down before knocking on the door.
"Sorry to interrupt, but I wanted to play Hanabi with Malik," Ryou said upon opening the door.
"Oh nice! We can play with you," Ishizu said.
"Sorry but this game can only be played with two people," Ryou said.
"That's okay. You two have fun," said Rishid.
As Ishizu and Rishid left, they spoke to each other in Arabic and said the following:
"I think he definitely has Stockholm syndrome," Ishizu said.
"Do you think he should start seeing a therapist three times a week instead of twice?" Rishid asked.
Malik sighed. "Did you understand any of that?" he asked.
"I could understand most of it," said Ryou. "Anyways, I wanted to talk to you. I think if we worked together, we could find a way to bring our Yamis back. Cause, like, I'm not just gonna leave him in the Shadow Realm. I want to help him make it to the afterlife. Or bring him back to Earth. Either way. And I think you feel the same way about a certain alter you sent away. So let's do it. Let's get our Yamis back."
Malik was silent for a brief moment, and then nodded. "Alright. Let's get them back."
