Chapter 5: Confession and first Date

Kim attacked with a kick in Shego's stomach. She was happy to be fighting with her again. She felt the adrenaline rush rising again. No one else could challenge her as much as Shego.

"Why are you here Shego?"

Shego smiled. "Well, I thought you wanted to fight Kimmi? I like challenges!"

Kim blushed at Shego's last sentence. Without knowing it, she had said exactly what Kim was thinking.

Now Shego attacked with her fists and hit Kim in the stomach. However, she did not ignite her plasma like she usually did.

"Do you know what I noticed Kimmi?", Shego said, dodging Kim's next attack.

"No, what Shego? What do you mean?", asked Kim, slowly becoming impatient, was she really here to fight or what was she after? She kicked Shego's chest angrily. "Oh, Princess, don't play the naive one here, I've noticed the way you look at me lately whenever we fight. Have you already forgotten what I gave you in our last fight?", said Shego and attacked Kim with a kick to her shin. The redhead dodged, however.

"You mean the kiss?", said Kim, blushing. The mention of this event made her feel insecure.

"Exactly, sweet Kimmi. How did you like it?", said Shego.

"Well, I'll be honest with you. Do you remember what I told you about this Diabolo plan?"

Shego smiled. "Yes, you said you hate me."

"I've noticed lately, however, that we're not so different. To be honest, you're the only one who can really challenge me. But it's more than just admiration that I feel for you. I've noticed, especially since Ron and I split up, that you're the only one I really love."

Shego's smile grew even wider. "Well, sweetie, I'll tell you something..."

She came up to Kim and Kim was already afraid of another attack.

But instead she pressed a kiss on her mouth.

When the kiss ended, Shego said: "I love you too, Kimmie."

Kim smiled: "You, I mean, both of us... I always thought that was impossible. I mean, you are my nemesis, my arch enemy, and yet we are both us. I couldn't wish for anything better."

Now that she said that, she kissed Shego with no less heated intensity than she had kissed her before.

After this kiss had also ended, Shego hugged Kim.

"Maybe that's my advantage. No one knows you better than your arch enemy. You know, we're not that different. On the contrary, I knew from the first time I met you that you were the one I was looking for," said Shego.

"Yes, you're right. I feel the same way about you. I've had a few partners, Josh Mankey, Erick, Ron... But no one has impressed me as much as you. Never."

"I think we should split up now, Kimmi," said Shego, letting her out of his embrace.

"You're right. Even if it's a shame..." said Kim, visibly sad about the end of their time together.

"We'll see each other again, Kim. Tomorrow is Saturday. Shall we meet in the park tomorrow evening?"

"You mean on a date?" asked Kim, astonished. Did that really just happen? thought Kim.

"Yes, of course Kim."

"Want to have a picnic then?"

"See you tomorrow, Kimmi," said Shego, kissing Kim on the lips before disappearing into the darkness from whence she had come. She left behind a happy Kim who was looking forward to tomorrow evening.

The next day, Kim woke up and was looking forward to this evening.

At breakfast with the family, her parents also noticed how happy she was. It didn't go unnoticed by her parents.

"Well, Kimmi, little bear, you're in a really good mood today," said James Possible, her father, as he looked past his newspaper to his daughter.

"And that even though you've been so sad lately. What happened Kim?", her mother demanded to know.

"Well, I have a date tonight," Kim answered, beaming with joy.

"Who's the lucky one?", her mother asked interestedly.

"Well, strictly speaking..."

"Kim has a boyfriend! Kim has a boyfriend!", shouted the Twombies.

"Can you be quiet for once," Kim was annoyed.

"Well, then I hope you two have fun tonight. I haven't seen you this happy since you broke up with Ron," said her mother.

"I just think that this could be the start of a special relationship," said Kim.

"Now, Kim, tell me who's the lucky one?" "Well, it's not really a happy person, more of a lucky person, you know..."

"Aha, so a friend, yes? Okay, no problem, Kimmilein. Maybe you can invite her over after tonight and introduce us. We want to order pizza again anyway, you know. Maybe she can come over for one."

"Yes, I'll tell her. Maybe she'll have time." She was already thinking about how she could go was able to get her to visit her at home.

Soon it was evening. Kim put on a long black dress that didn't cover much of her chest. She took the basket with her in which she had packed the things for the picnic.

When she was finished in the bathroom, she said goodbye to her parents who wished her a lot of fun.

She then walked through the lantern-lit streets of Middleton to the park, which, as expected, was not very busy for a Saturday. Shego was sitting on a bench in the light of a brightly lit lantern.

Kim's heart beat faster when she spotted her nemesis there. She was wearing a green and black dress that was very similar in color to her combat suit, but the dress left her shoulders bare and showed a lot of her breasts, which Kim liked a lot.

She came closer to her. "Shego, nice to see you!"

"Nice to see you, Kim. You look really hot!" said Shego, standing up and hugging her friend. "I could say the same about you. Green and black suits you perfectly," said Kim in her friend's arms.

So Kim led Shego to a hill not far from the park where they had a good view of Middleton at night and pulled a blanket out of her picnic basket. "Romantic view, I have to say, Kimmi. I missed that. The villain business is hard, you hardly have time for things like that."

"Then it's good that you have the time now. Do you fancy triangle sandwiches?" asked Kim and pulled them out of her basket.

"Triangle sandwiches are the only way to make sandwiches properly," said Shego and smiled mischievously.

The evening continued as she told Kim about her high school days in a happy get-together and Shego told stories about her work with Dr. Drakken.

Soon after, Kim noticed how Shego had become closer and closer to her. They kissed. When the kiss ended, Kim said: "Tonight is so perfect with you, Shego. I wish it would never end."

"Come on, Kim, I'm inviting you to my house. I've parked my motorcycle a few streets from the park."

"I'd love to, Shego."

They stood up, gathered their picnic things and walked down the streets to Shego's motorcycle, a black and green Super Blackbird. Kim sat down next to Shego and held onto her hip while Shego let the vehicle's engine roar to life. "Hold on tight, sweetheart, this baby is pretty wild."
