Chapter 2: The Pirate King & His New Best Friend;
Enter Spinel!
As Luffy walked toward the strange shaped buildings, kept taking in his surroundings everywhere he looked the entire city he appeared to be in had all sorts of futuristic looking gadgets and appearances.
"Wooow, this place is so cool! I bet Usopp and Franky would love this place" replied the straw hatted captain to himself. Though it was soon apparent that Luffy's presence seemed to be the talk of the town or rather the talk of everyone around him as he walked forward.
"is that a human?" asked one bystander to another. "I think so, but I don't think He's him. I wonder how he got here." While one would think Luffy was using observation haki to listen in as he eavesdropped, no one was really speaking in a hushed tone about him but that really didn't matter to him, Luffy was a pirate and was used to some people throwing names at him. Luffy was more Fixated on the appearance of some of the people he was seeing in this town. Each of the townsfolk seemed to come in all shapes and sizes. Some tall, some short, some buff. Every single person Luffy saw as he continued his trek to his destination appeared drastically different compared to any normal human, or any other type of human he'd see before. Extra limbs, or things like wings made of water. to tiny rounded citizens roughly just as if not just a BIT smaller to the tontatas from dressrosa.
Luffy: (laughs excitedly) "Shi shi shi! This place is so weird! Everyone's green or blue or red. (Kept turning his head from side to side) and this place is so lively too, I wonder if there is a party going on or something."
Eventually Luffy stopped in his tracks as his path was blocked by one of the many ginormous buildings, he had been staring at however there wasn't any door to go in nor any side paths around too go around. This peeved off the rubber man just a bit as he wanted to keep going.
Luffy: "Uh oh dead end. Now what?" Luffy begun to see if anyone could help him but a lot of the townsfolk either kept their distance or were just ignoring him. Soon Luffy took notice of two short green ladies with yellowish green hair in the shape of a triangle talking about something. Luffy wanting to get the info he wanted simply ran up to the two of them and butted into their conversation. Understandably these two saw Luffy coming a mile away and were a little spooked by him just dashing up for no reason.
Green Lady 1: "Gak! What in the name of Quartz do you want?"
"Hey! Do you two know how to get to those Super weird buildings that look like a giant robot?" he asked quickly in one breath like it was nothing.
Green Lady 2: "Giant ro-butt? What is this Ro-butt you speak of?"
Luffy: (begun pointing wildly to the center robot looking building that had the white head and torso) The Giant Robot thing over there! I wanna go check it out, I better theres a cool adventure or something over there, or even better Meat! Cuz im hungry!"
Green Lady 2: "Adventure? Me-eat? I must ask are you functioning normally? I have never heard these strange terms before."
Green Lady 1: "Perhaps this Gem is from off world, had some sort of incident and cracked their gem and came here to get it mended by the Diamonds."
Luffy: (begun to sort of listen to their conversation) "Wha-ho-hoooo! There's Diamonds here? Sweet maybe I'll grab a couple. Getting some treasure is cool too though, I'm still hoping for some meat."
Green Lady 1: "Y-yes im sure The Diamonds can help you with your Me-eat problems. (she pointed toward the top of the building that stopped Luffy earlier) its simple just use your gravity connectors to scale the wall. They Bismuths that were making that tower are off for the day, as it is a 'Fryer-day' and are doing other fun activities, so normal entry is closed off today."
Luffy simply stared and the two townsfolk he had be question with a blank thousand-yard stare on his face. He then turned his head to the top of the building where the first green lady was pointing, till he came to his own conclusion.
Luffy: "So I just gotta scale that mystery tower to get to the fun meaty-Diamond place."
Green Ladies 1 & 2: "Affirmative. Best of Luck to you"
Luffy: "heh guess I should of done that before. Luffy began to chuckle then begun to stretch his arms the way a normal person stretches as to warm up. "Thanks, weird Green twins"
Green Lady 1: "Weird?!"
Green Lady 2: "Twins?!" Suddenly Luffy then Stretched his arms out, his hands flew further and further to the top till he grabbed the top most ledge. This actually frightened everyone around him as no one expected Luffy to do what he just did
Luffy: "NOW GUM-GUM…. ROCKET!" and with that, Luffy pulled his body toward the top of the building at break neck speed, letting go as soon as he reached to top and sailed higher and higher into the air to see what lied beyond his road block. "Alright! I bet I could just stretch over and swing to the front door if I wanted to. LET'S GO!"
And with that Luffy stretched out his right arm grabbing another building to pull him toward his destination. As he disappeared from the townsfolks sight where he was on the ground originally many were speechless or stuned.
A purple and burly long-haired lady then asked to anyone; "Was…. That The Spinel that lives with the Diamonds?"
"I don't know…. I thought he was a human like the ones on earth and him." Said a short red townsperson.
The Large Building Luffy was swinging to actually had a great deal of importance as it was the Diamond Palace. Home to the mighty and Powerful Diamond Authority, ruler of the mighty gem empire. Or rather they were the rulers. After Thousands of years of conquering planets and destroying them from the inside out to expand their rule to other worlds the Diamonds, Yellow Diamond, Blue Diamond and White Diamond ended their reign when Steven Universe the son of Pink Diamond, came and after much difficulty was able to get through to the three remaining powers of the gem empire and liberated every single planet and gem from their rule and now every gem, even the diamonds were trying to live a new life with peace and prosperity without the shackles of the old gem empire's rules and tyranny.
The Diamond were making good on their word to Steven on trying to be good and make amends for all the bad stuff they had done in the past, working hard to fix or help others with a more friendly and happy look on life, and today was no different the three diamond were very busy with their own was of helping and healing the damage they did to others.
Though there was One gem that was not a part of their busy schedule this fine day. In the Diamond palace looking out of a sort of veranda at the cityscape below was a small pink gem. She had magenta hair tied up into two spiky flame shaped pigtails, a dark maroon top with pink sleeves, bottoms, gloves, and long boots with the ends pointed upward. She had pinkish red pupils and on the bottoms of her eyes were three lines that stopped around her cheeks as if her makeup was running. And her most notable trait was her gem, a heart shaped jewel that appeared upside-down. This was Spinel, she was Pink Diamonds former playmate/best friend before Pink Diamond abandoned her in their old play area. After learning she was left alone for thousand of years and her own altercations with Steven, Spinel was given a home with the Diamonds in their palace.
Spinel: "SIIIIIGHH! This is Boring. Nothin's happening. Won't anythin' fun happen today?"
with the Diamond being very busy helping others today, they had to focus so they could be of good help to everyone, meaning they regretfully had little time to be with Spinel. Spinel had understood this and had stayed back in her own room so as not to bother the diamonds though she still couldn't help but feel a bit lonely and sad as she had nothing to do nor anyone to play with.
Spinel's eyes looked down outside the palace entrance to a large Crystal jutting out of the ground, it occasionally lit up and a massive stream of white-ish blue light hit it, revealing gems now standing or vanishing with each occasional flash every once in awhile.
Spinel: (thinking) Maybe… I could go see…."
Spinel then shook her head back and forth twice dismissively
"No no no no no! You shouldn't do it Spinel. I don'ts think Steven still wants to see ya right now. He still needs his space from us. I care about him now and I don't wanna cause him no more trouble…."
Spinel folded her arms on the ledge of the veranda and proper her head on her arms and closed her eyes. She then Sighed sadly again, hoping that her Boredom would be alleviated sooner rather then later. Little did she know that her wish was about to come true.
Meanwhile in the Skies above the palace Luffy continued to swing from building to building getting closer and closer to his destination.
Luffy: "I'm Almost there, I can Practically taste the meat! Ha ha ha ha!"
As Luffy was just above the palace, he was about to stretch and grab something on the ground to pull him to the front door safely but suddenly Something small and blue slammed into his back Pretty dang hard.
Luffy: "UGH!"
Luffy unaware of what or who hit him, The rubber man was soon flying downward toward the palace itself and not the entrance. As Luffy fell from the sky a mysterious figure obscured by shadow watched him fall.
?: (into a gem communicator) "I've Located Spinel, for some reason she was swinging around outside the palace."
Voice could be heard through the communicator. "How odd. Well for this attack to work, we need to keep her in the palace. We cannot allow the fight to be brought in the open."
Back with Spinel, she was still resting her head when she though she heard something. Spinel then propped her head up.
Spinel: "hmm? Who said that? Who's around?"
?:"….aaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!"
SLAM! THUMP! BOOM!
Out of the sky, what appeared to look like a human came falling from the sky and crashed into Spinel's room from her veranda opening. Dust covered the side of the room parallel to where Spinel stood.
Spinel: "Wh-what the heck was that?"
?: (muffled) "mm…mmmm…." As the dust cleared, Spinel could see Luffy who head had been driven into the wall from the force of the crash and struggling to pull himself out.
Spinel: "Steven is that- (took a good look at Luffy) Wait You ain't Steven, who the heck are you?"
Finally, with enough force Luffy freed his head from the wall, tumbling backward, and lying on his back as he caught his breath.
Luffy: (Panting) "I'm free! Couldn't breath….That was scary."
Spinel then stood over the Pirate looking bewildered and Luffy, who had got his breath back to normal begun staring back w/ his classic blank stare on his face. The two watched each other in silence for what seemed like an eternity until:
Luffy: (in Luffy's usual calm demeanor) "Who the Hell are you?"
Spinel: (in a same demeanor) "Who the Heck are you?"
"I'm Monkey D. Luffy. I am the Man who's gonna be king of the Pirates" replied the captain to the pink gem.
Spinel was soon puzzled. "What's a Pirate?" she asked with curiosity and increasing interest.
Luffy then sat back up excitingly. As he begun to tell Spinel how he saw pirates. "Pirates are people who live life free, we make friends, go adventures find treasure, and have lots of party and have Tons of meat!" Spinel, seemed to become quickly enthralled as the straw hatted man kept spinning tails of his types of piracy. Friends, adventure meat; whatever the heck meat was.
"Gee that sounds so Amazin!" Spinel finally said as Luffy finished his story.
Luffy chuckled happily. "Yeah it's awesome. (he then grabbed his straw hat that was hanging behind his back and pulled it in front of him and Spinel and began to reminisce) "And somewhere in the GrandLine is the legendary treasure. The One Piece. Pirates from all over are searching for that treasure cuz whoever finds it becomes the next king, and I'm gonna be the first to find it!"
Spinel was awestruck. Just a few moments ago she was bored out of her mind and down on her day then suddenly came a human who spoke of amazingly fun things that were out there just waiting for her to try. That is if that's what she chose. Eventually Luffy finished reminiscing and placed his straw hat back on his head then turned to Spinel.
Luffy: "Oh yea, you never told me your name yet. And why's your skin all pink, you get a bad sunburn or something?"
Spinel: "O-oh!" Spinel blushed with embarrassment for not answering Luffy's questions at all. "My name's Spinel. I'm a Gem Ya see."
"A gem?" Luffy replied with curiosity of his own now.
Spinel Begun to the best of her ability to explain Gems to Luffy.
"ya see" she pointed to her heart shaped gem. "our bodies are made of light and cuz of our gems it can make us move talk, and play around and stuff."
"mmhmm… so you have mysterious magic light rocks." Luffy said after trying to comprehend Spinel's words.
"Pretty much yea, I know im a gem but im not to good at all the science-y stuff like my family does." Admitted Spinel
"So does that Light crap you mentioned mean you have Devil fruit Powers?" Luffy inquired to the Pig tailed gem.
Spinel took on another confused look upon hearing this question "Devil fruit? Uh… I'm not sure what that is really."
"you know a devil fruit. You eat a really bad tasting fruit and you get a cool or lame power. Then you can't swim anymore." Said Luffy without missing a beat. Spinel seemed to understand the concept she still looked unsure of what Luffy was talking about again.
"check it out; I accidentally ate a devil fruit a few years ago" Luffy grabbed both ends of his cheeks then stretch them out more then what was humanly possible. "Nya! Sccee? I'm a Wrubber Man!"
Spinel was REALLY surprised by that, she'd never seen any gem have the same abilities as her without shapeshifting and Luffy was a human.
"OooHH! You can stretch?!" Spinel exclaimed excitedly as Luffy snapped back his face to normal. "Yep sure can!" he replied as he usually does. Spinel then Stood up then be can to show off. "that's something I can do to!"
With that Spinel begun to stretch her arms around though unlike Luffy, she could hold her stretch out limbs and appearance for as long as she wanted. Luffy was entertained as much as Spinel was clapping with his feet as Spinel showed off her abilities. "WOW! I thought Usopp said no two devil fruits are the same man wait till he hears this!"
Suddenly Luffy stopped like time stood still, his eyes briefly flashed red for a split second before he took on a serious look. Spinel stopped smiling as she saw Luffy gazing at her angerly for some reason. Seeing this Spinel got a bit worried.
"o-Oh no. Did I…Did I do somethin' Wrong- "before Spinel could finish that sentence Luffy extended his arms, grabbed Spinel then pulled her in before a giant explosion engulfed the veranda. Black smoke covered the whole room and many gems outside the palace took immediate notice to the giant explosion.
"Spinel get behind me" said Luffy as his voice took on a serious tone. Spinel did as he asked even if the just meet a few minutes ago Luffy seemed like a different person now but his serious tone did feel bad.
Soon the black smoke cleared and near the veranda's now broken and damaged, were two gems. One was flying with butterfly-like wings made of water she had two gems on the left side of her face, one that acted as her left eye and another below it in the shape of a tear drop along with four legs, a strange suit outfit and rounded buck teeth.
Next to her stood a green gem with her gem on her head, this one however appeared to be riding a strange mech that had several components hodgepodge together just so it could hold.
The green Green gem then spoke to the flying one with sight annoyance. "I thought you said she was in blast range Bluebird."
Bluebird: (annoyed) "She WAS, I planted those flimsy explosives you made just right it had to be your craftsmanship cuz she's not even cracked Demantoid."
Demantoid: (looks to Luffy and Spinel) "hmm seems as though our target was not alone. She has a human with her."
Bluebird then perked up a bit "Oooh a human, eh?" (she then summoned a sword out of ice from her eyeball gem) "well THAT'LL give us an extra bit of Leverage on getting revenge on That Stupid Brat Steven Universe!"
Demantoid with out changing her serious but dull looking face nodded to her flying partner. "Yes. We know the Diamonds and Steven Universe's relationship is strained but knowing him he'd still come to help. If he learns an innocent human is our hostage then this may ensure he comes into our trap."
"You I know the two of you, I heard from the Diamonds and some rumors, you're gems who are doing bad things still even though Steven Brought peace to the empire." Spinel said getting a bit angry as she stepped out slight from behind Luffy.
Demantoid lifted on of her mech's arms as if to shoot a weapon from it
"Correct." She replied with a hint of anger and resentment toward Steven. "That fool changed the empire and let an obscene power gap wide open for the taking. The second me and my…former associate took a chance at that window Steven Universe came and ruined it all taking my Light Prism in the process now I am reduced to making my weapons not only in secret but with horrible materials since weapon making is forbidden!"
"And that same fool tricked everyone on home world that he wasn't the greatest traitor to our kind and the two greatest gem heroes were tossed aside like nothing. When he returned to home world with blue and yellow to start era three, we were ridiculed and we became hated before era three even started!" whined Bluebird to no one in particular. The flying gem then begun pointing her sword toward the two friends with a sinister grin on her face.
"Now then" said Bluebird "how's about we get this show on the road. Though I can't promise we won't hurt you even if you surren-"
Suddenly Luffy with out moving pumped his legs and his blood began to flow much faster then normal. His skin started to tint a pinkish red color and his body began to steam.
"NOW GUM-GUM JET BAZOOKA!" entering 2nd Gear quickly Luffy bashed both Invaders out of Spinel's room, both foes had fought steven AND the crystal gems and never felt an attack of that magnitude before.
Demantoid/Bluebird: UGH!
The two gems flew backwards and crashed onto a gigantic town square area with the four Diamond symbols on the ground many of the bystanders here fled the scene as they saw the two crashed to the ground.
Luffy dropped out of 2nd Gear to save stamina he then ran to the broken edge of the veranda to see where the two foes landed. "There they are!" shouted Luffy. Before he could jump down after them Spinel stretched her arms out and wrapped them around Luffy's arm.
"Huh? What the? Spinel what are you doing?" he asked
Spinel looked at Luffy with an angry look in her face. "Please let me help you. That guy they kept mentioning, Steven Universe he's. He's my family and I don't wanna see him get hurt any more I wanna do Right by Steven."
Luffy stared hat his new friend. Then flashed his usual smile and just nodded to her. Spinel seeing this grinned with a thankful look in her eyes.
Back in the main square, both Bluebird and demantoid begun to recollect themselves from the devastating blow Luffy dealt them.
"Ughhh…." Bluebird groaned. "What on earth was that?! Aside from Steven Universe, no human should glow like that. And what was that power? He practically Launched us all the way over here!"
Demantoid who had fallen out of her mech begun to prop up her machine to climb back in again. "How should I know?!" barked Demantoid toward the fusion. But now our plan is in shambles as we're no longer in the palace, we're exposed and must flee!"
"WHAT?!" snapped Bluebird. "we came all this way to get revenge on Steven and you want to flake out on the whole thing!"
"Have you not heard a word I've said?" Demantoid Sneered with more visible anger. "Exposed. In danger. The plan was to keep our abduction of the Spinel and Poofing of the Diamonds within the wall of the palace. To have an advantage over Steven universe when he arrives with traps I must admit that Ruby half in you must be dulling your Aquamarine half since all you care about is randomly harming Steven Universe these days since your first flimsy attempt failed when you could hardly hold the fusion to fight him!"
Bluebird then begun flying above Demantoid. "Well If the Plan's already Failed then we need to just Improvise then! As long as the people steven has the most connections to are in danger he'll come running trying to save the day then WHAM! He's as good a shattered!"
Demantoid finally having enough with Bluebirds half baked ideas dropped her mech and angerly turned to face her so called partner. "And WHAT do you purpose we do? That one human already had enough power to knock us out of the palace!"
Then Bluebird extended her arm to the small green garnet, who now stood at the fusion with disbelief as she knew what Bluebird was thinking. "we simply get stronger ourselves. As a three-gem fusion, we should be able to turn the tide of battle in our favor!"
"W-what you're saying is a major risk Azurite! We've never fused prior nor will we know our new capabilities if this does work" stated Demantoid. Soon the two gems could hear a voice yelling, Luffy with Spinel holding on to his back was swinging toward the square to continue to beat up the two foes. Knowing their time was running out Bluebird turned back to Demantoid.
"It's now or never Demantoid, if we fuse we may have a chance if we don't we'll definitely lose this. What are you going to do?" asked the fusion with desperation.
Demantoid hemmed and hawed for about 10 seconds on what to do then she made her decision. The era 2 Garnet grabbed Bluebird's hand. Then suddenly they both began to glow brightly before they begun to merge into a single being just as Luffy and Spinel arrived to the square.
"What the Heck is happening to those two?" asked Luffy as he landed roughly 100 feet from the center of the square. "OH NO! They're Fusing!" exclaimed Spinel worryingly. Before Luffy could even ask about THAT, the light the engulfed Bluebird and Demantoid begun to warp and twist, expanding the three gems begun to take on a more solid form. After a sudden Greenish colored explosion, where the two evil gems were stood a new being entirely They were somehow grew to the size similar to Franky, the fusions body and clothes had a Teal-ish green color to them Red Colored Freckles around their cheek area and now had an extra set of arms as well as appearing to have a build similar to a Quartz Soldier. This strange amalgamation then begun inspecting their new form with glee
?: "heh heh heh…. This…power…So. Much. POWER! NYA HA HA!"
"Who the heck are you? Where did those other two guys go?" asked Luffy not realizing what had just happened.
The large fusion then grabbed Demantoid's mech and then begun to rip it apart and then reassemble it into an entirely new machine. "Yes. I can clearly understand BOTH sides now." Said the fusion as they quickly toiled on the machine. "With Aquamarine's cleverness, Ruby's Aggressiveness and Demantoids Intelligence; we can absolutely defeat anyone who dare stand against us!" Finally, the ghastly looking fusion finished working on their machine. They had rebuilt Demantoid's mech into a large energy blaster. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Bloodstone. And this." Placing the blaster on one of her arms like a gauntlet. "This is the 'Dyna Blaster' with the energy core this mech possessed and the new elemental powers I posses I can Blast the both of you to pieces five times over!" said the fusion with a villainous sneer.
Then Bloodstone Pooled a large amount of elemental power into their new weapon, and a large laser shot out of the barrel, thankfully Luffy had grabbed Spinel and pulled themselves to safety just in time.
"Tsk! Missed!" Bloodstone soon pointed the barrel at a seemingly random spot Luffy wasn't even in then suddenly blasted a much weaker energy shot. Just as the shot was about to hit the wall Luffy swung right into the path of the shot. But it wasn't to counter the shot as the second he saw the energy ball he was very shocked as it was right in his face.
Ka-Booom! Luffy and Spinel both were the ones sent flying this time as they landed on the ground hard. Spinel had gotten a few scrapes from the blast and landing but it was clear as she picked herself up Luffy had taken practically all the brunt of the attack
"Luffy!" Shrieked the stretchy pink gem. Luffy stood valiantly not letting his ground fall, the blast had clearly did major damage as small amounts of blood began to trickle from his head. Panting heavily the rubber man stared down his foe.
"Damn…." He panted "these guys are really strong now. As cool as it is that beam's a problem too, not to mention they might have advanced observation Haki"
"whatever nonsense you're spouting now know this; now that the I'm in control of the situation. My advanced intellect had already calculated where you fools would swing I simply timed my last attack Juust right to incapacitate you"
Spinel ran to Luffy side, but since she wasn't a healer like steven she could only see how much pain Luffy must've been in while Luffy wasn't out of the fight yet he soon collapsed to his knees due to the lack of stamina and damage he had been dealt still panting heavily. Spinel then turned to the diabolical fusion with rising rage in her hear. "How did you do that?" she demanded "why do ya have to do all this? Just cuz ya don't have an era 2 rank or title no more doesn't mean you can't find somethin' to do to be happy!"
"You don't get it DO you, you pathetic pink garbage! We have something that WILL make us Happy, RULING OVER THE GEM EMPIRE AND MAKING IT IN OUR OWN IMAGE TO BE THE SUPREME RULER FOR OUR OWN WANTS AND NEEDS!" Bloodstone then pointed one of her non armed hands at Spinel "But to do that we need to destroy all who believe our cause is unjust or the ones who ruined our old lives!"
Spinel whose anger reached its breaking point, then enlarged her fists to twice their normal size then charged at Bloodstone and begun to rapidly punch, and kick so all sorts of attack to fight against the evil foe.
However, Spinel's attack couldn't do much against Bloodstone's new found might. Bloodstone grabbed Spinel with their two lower arms and tightly pinned her to the ground with a might THUD!
"Spinel No!" Cried Luffy in Despair
Suddenly a large bolt of yellow energy zapped the ground right near Bloodstone not hitting her directly but enough to get her attention.
?: "you DARE Hurt our little stardust? You had better a good explanation for this you three"
Luffy picked his head up and Bloodstone still holding Spinel down turned her head to see three giants. One was yellow and had a two spiked helmet looking hairstyle, another blue with a large dress long white-ish blue hair, and the third just taller then the other two but was pure white, almost like she was glowing. Wearing a dress with sandals and a black cape that was attached to her sleeves with sparking stars on the inside.
"what's up with those giants?" asked Luffy out loud
"It's the Diamonds! They're here." Spinel cried with joy but with her voice strained as she was still pinned down.
"We heard the explosion and some of the gems in the palace said Demantoid and another gem were behind this" replied blue with an angry look on her face.
White looked sternly at the fusion as they continued to hold down Spinel. "So you fused with your new allied to cause us trouble Demantoid?" said white as she coldly stared at the fusion looking ready to do something. "While we've abandoned our old ways before era 3 just know you WILL face consequences for your actions you've done so far, and if you even leave a scratch on Spinel's gem I wont go easy on you."
Bloodstone then begun to laugh insanely both the Diamonds and Luffy watched as she picked up Spinel off the ground. "HA HA HA! YOU THINK. WE'RE SCARED OF SOME WEAK WILLED, STEVEN UNIVERSE LOVING FOOLS?! YOU DIAMONDS ARE ANCIENT HISTORY!
Bloodstone then Slammed Spinel back onto the ground. As Spinel let out a small pain filled yelp everyone lurched forward ready to charge Bloodstone. "WE CAN CREATE A BETTER GEM EMPIRE THEN YOU OR THAT FOOLISH HUMAN-GEM HYBRID CAN THINK OF!"
Bloodstone then flung Spinel toward the Diamonds with great force scaring everyone especially Spinel herself.
"EEEK!" wailed Spinel as she flew across the air. Yellow, Blue and White took no time reacting and each huddled their hands together where Spinel was flying toward them to cushion her fall which they thankfully were able to do. "*PANT PANT*" Spinel then looked up at the diamonds. "you guys came." She smiled happily with relief
"Of course we came. You were in danger." Said Yellow as she lifted Spinel to her eye level.
"Oh, sunbeam we'd never leave you all alone on purpose." Comforted Blue stroking Spinel head in the hopes to make her feel better
"We're sorry for being so busy with our duties lately" Apologized White.
"But we wanted to power through this recent big schedule fast enough so we could spend time with you, we know you been feeling distance from us and we wanted to make it up to you somehow."
Hearing this really tugged at Spinel's heart strings, as she begun to tear up a little "oh Gee. *sniff* I had no idea you guys had planned to do that." Spinel wiped a tear from her eye. "Im sorry too. I know ya's got important stuff to do and I didn't wanna bother ya"
White Diamond used one of her giant fingers to gently lift Spinel's head up to see the three Diamonds smiling kindly at the little pink gem
"Spinel." White Said in a motherly tone. "We're your family now and we promised you'd have a place in our palace with us and that we'd adore you"
Spinel couldn't stop the tears from flowing as she smiled happily hearing how much her family loved her. "T-Thank you." She cried happily. Luffy smiled seeing Spinel's tender family moment as it made him think back to the brotherly bond he forged with Ace and sabo years ago when they were younger. However…
"WELL THEN YOU CAN ALL SHATTER AS A FAMILY IF YOU WANT IT THAT BADLY YOU IGNORANT FOOL!" Bloodstone bellowed with insanity as she began to charge another full powered shot at Spinel and the Diamonds, as the realized they were in trouble it was already too late to move, Bloodstone had fully charged another shot and was about to fire at the four but then;
SHHHHOOOOOMMMM!
An immense pressure filled the air, and everything seem to have felt like time slowed down around everyone. Spinel and the Diamonds felt this but nothing seemed to come over them, Bloodstone however seemed to have become paralyzed with fear, and she begun to shake, her cannon arm fire but due to this intense fear washed over her the shot veered away form the diamond missing them entirely as the shot flew back to the Diamond palace, exploding in the same area as Spinel's room.
Ka-BOOM! Soon the Pressure in the air vanished as quickly as it came. All felt quiet after what had transpired. Bloodstone was now kneeling on the ground panting heavily as they tried to comprehend what just happened
"W-WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?" she Sneered and she turned to see Luffy who had finally stood back up again, while still panting a bit but not as hard earlier. "WHAT IN THE NAME OF HOME WORLD WAS THAT?! IT WAS LIKE YOU PROJECTED YOUR EMOTIONS RIGHT INTO ME! (the fusion stood up and faced Luffy) "THAT SHOULDN'T BE EVEN REMOTLEY POSSIBLE YOU'RE A HUMAN! NOT A DIAMOND HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!" Bloodstone demanded.
Luffy simply stood still looking slightly down as his eyes were obscured by shadow his panting getting lighter until he finally caught his breath. He then took his hat off his head and let it hang behind him before lifting his head to sternly face his opponent.
"You can beat me up, try to slash me, you can blast me with cool lasers. Hell, I'd just stand here even if you spit on me." He said the tone of his voice sounded calm yet carried a strong sense of seriousness to it
"But. If you Ever hurt my friends then I swear I'll make you Pay!"
DOOOM!
"F-Friends?" asked Spinel under her breath upon hearing those words.
Bloodstone's already paper-thin patience had seemed to have finally run out as they grew tired of Luffy's bizarre and annoying interference in their plans to take revenge.
"I'VE HAD IT UP TO HERE WITH YOU, YOU IDIOTIC EARTH CLOD! I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU EVEN GOT HERE WITHOUT STEVEN UNIVERSE BUT I'VE MADE UP MY MIND." (Bloodstone then pointed her cannon arm towards Luffy's direction) "I NO LONGER NEED A HUMAN HOSTAGE TO USE, I'LL SHATTER YOU, THE DIAMONDS AND YOUR PATHETIC LITTLE SPINEL TOO AND JUST TAKE OVER THE PLANET!"
Spinel could see that Bloodstone was out for blood now worrying for her friend especially after his whole declaration Spinel then tried to warn Luffy. She begun to call his name
Spinel: "Luff-" but before she could finish calling out to Luffy Spinel heard something.
Da-Doom!
Da-Doom!
"Huh? What was that?" Asked Spinel.
"What was What?" Asked White to Spinel
"You didn't hear that White?" Spinel replied looking toward the diamonds.
Suddenly Spinel begun to hear the noise again as it was growing Louder and more rhythmically
Doom-Dut-Da-Da!

Just then lard sparks of red and black looking aura begun jutting out of the ground, it was tearing up the concrete around everyone's feet blasting into the nearest building creating huge cracks or craters on the outer walls.
"What's Happening to that Human over there?!" Yellow called over the chaotic storm of Haki that was damaging everything
Bloodstone tried to blast Luffy again but the strange pressure that appeared earlier had returned and was preventing her from shooting or getting closer to fight Luffy physically. Luffy then took his Iconic 2nd Gear stance, however his body didn't glow red as it did earlier.
A strange ribbon of cloud-like mist suddenly appeared around his arms and then, some of Luffy's hair begun to stand up and even curl into a swirl like pattern. Once his hair took on a flaming shape, his black hair started to change to a Bright white color, but it didn't stop at his hair as almost all of Luffy's clothes save for his sandals, Purple sash and iconic straw hat also became white and the clouds in the sky.
"What theeee?" were all the words Spinel could muster
"White did you give that human your powers?" asked Blue to her fellow Diamond.
"N-No I didn't." Exclaimed White "My powers can't affect humans, I cant even see what he's seeing!"
"Spinel. Just who on EARTH did you befriend while we were gone?" Asked Yellow as she stared at Luffy in both wonder and bewilderment
Spinel then begun to smile, with determination for Luffy as if she somehow knew her new friend could win. "His name Is Monkey D. Luffy" She told her family "He's the Human who's gonna rule over the Pirates!"
Finally finished with his transformation Luffy still in his stance simply lifted his head sporting his own determined smile as if none of what happened earlier had even bothered him.
"Heh-Heh-Heh…." He laughed. "I hope you're ready Zap cannon. Cuz I'm about to Kick your ass!"

Future-Future Fruit;
Paramecia type. The User of this fruit can see the immediate future of their own or any people they know of. However they can only go as far as a few minuets, seeing years into the future is impossible.
Unlike most Devil Fruits, this one actually works well with Haki. When used in tandem with advanced observation Haki Sapphire the Blue Maiden can see multiple different futures, allowing Sapphire a sort of Pseudo Awakening. However the fruit's true abilites upon awakening are as of yet unknown.
Pseudo Awakening;
Where Awakening is a rare occurrence for devil fruit users some members of the Warp Pirates have found ways to achieve a mock version of awakening their Devil Fruit Powers to better combat the hardships in the new world. Though the methods vary and it isn't confirmed if all of the top commanders use Pseudo Awakening or actual awakened powers
BloodStone;
The Fusion between Bluebird Azurite (aquamarine and ruby [Eyeball]) and Demantoid. While their fusion seemed to have many positive aspects, there were many negative traits that out weighed the good. Their personality slowly begun to lost to all the power they gained*
*while this is a One Piece X Steven Universe crossover, Bloodstone's personality its kinda akin to the DBZ version of Broly the Legendary super Saiyan in terms of their power is driving them crazy as long as they stayed fused.
