Chapter 8
Emily woke up one morning, as she looked around her. She yawned a bit, rubbing her eyes. She saw that it was early in the morning….and even so, the earlier it was, the more darkness seeped through the window. Emily smiled, as she greeted the day with a prayer, and some conversations with her late parents. Slowly and surely, the sunlight came in.
Mandark came outside with his silk boxers, shirtless, as he coughed a smoker's cough, seeping in some of the nicotine he dealt out. "Hi, honey". Mandark said, kindly with soothing gentleness and softness. Mandark smiled a kind, soothing, loving smile. "How are you this morning, love?". "You look so beautiful, and well-rested this morning….that makes me so happy, lovey". "How did you sleep, coochie?". Mandark asked, kindly with soothing softness and gentleness. Emily nodded. "I slept well". Emily replied, as she drank her milk. "That's always nice, baby". Mandark said, gently with soothing softness. Mandark smiled a gentle, soothing, softened, sappy smile.
"How are you feeling, honey?". "Is everything ok?". Mandark asked, soothingly with gentle softness. Emily nodded, as she drank some milk from her sippy cup. "Everything is really good, thank you". Emily replied. "That's good, honey". Mandark said, kindly with gentle soothingness. Mandark smoked his cigarette, as he stretched back in the chaise. "I'm glad you're feeling much better, honey". "You deserve to feel good…..and today will be an excellent day". Mandark said, gently with kind soothingness.
Emily nodded. "So, this weekend should be good for Thanksgiving". "The weather is supposed to be nice, mom and dad will be in, Lalavava will be in…it'll be a lovely time". Mandark said, soothingly with gentle kindness. Mandark yawned a bit. "It will be". Emily replied, as she kept her blanket wrapped around her. She sniffled a bit, enjoying the Florida warmth.
"You seem sad this morning, baby". "You're much sadder than usual today….and last night, I heard you crying…..what's troubling you, sweet girl?". Mandark asked, kindly with soothing softness. "I don't know….I'm not sure". Emily replied. "I didn't know I was crying last night….um….um….um, was I?". Emily asked.
Mandark brushed Emily's cheeks, kindly with gentleness, and a light brush. "You seemed very emotional last night….and you were sighing in your sleep…..it was an emotional sigh that sounded troubled, depressed, long, and still". "I felt worried about you….and I wondered if you were ok". "Which I somehow knew you were…..but I was curious….what made you seem so pensive, and choleric….what tapped into your emotional side that made you more depressed". Mandark said, in a softened, soothing, gentle, light, and kind voice. "I don't know why….but…I am sadder than usual on Thanksgiving….I'm really sad….and it makes me really scared, too". Emily said. "Do you know why?". Emily asked. "Perhaps because you lost your mom and dad….all of your family…..and you miss them around the holidays….because the holidays were the happiest time for you". "You just feel grief right now because you lost mom and dad…..and it makes you seem even more depressed without them…..which I understand". Mandark said, gently with kind, soothing, loving softness. "I guess". Emily answered quietly.
"Mommy and daddy mean the world to you still….and being without them on what was the happiest time of year is difficult….I know". Mandark whispered, soothingly with kind gentleness. "Yeah". Emily replied, as she sniffled. "I want my mom and dad…but they're away now". Emily looked off to the side.
"I understand". Mandark whispered, kindly with soothing, gentle softness. "We can always talk if you feel you need to, honey". "Whenever you feel you need to, talk with me….I can help with anything, honey". Mandark whispered, gently with soothingness. Mandark kissed Emily's cheeks, gently. "Thank you". Emily replied, as she looked away….albeit for a quick second.
"I'm sure we'll have a nice time with the family….we'll eat some Turkey…we'll sit down, and have a nice, light dinner….we'll watch football later…it'll be a magnificent time". "You'll see". Mandark promised, kindly with soothing gentleness. "Ok". Emily replied. Mandark smiled a kind, gentle, soothing smile as he kissed Emily's cheeks, lovingly.
"Why don't we go inside, and refill your milk, honey?". "You need some more milk…as well as some medicine to help you easily get through your day with no qualms". Mandark said, kindly with gentle soothingness. "Does that sound like a plan?". Mandark asked, kindly with soothing gentleness. Emily nodded, shyly.
Mandark peppered Emily's cheeks with more kisses, as he nuzzled her gently…picking her up in his arms. They went inside, as there was a familiar knock at the door. "Computer….let my sister in". Mandark requested, as he helped Emily take her medicine. Lalavava came in shortly afterwards, as she held her purse in her hands, setting it down beside her, on the table.
"How are things, hun?". Mandark asked, as he held Lalavava's hands, slapping them, succinctly. "They're fine, I guess". "I had off for a few days regarding Thanksgiving…so I thought I'd come home, and chill for a while". "It's not terrible, really". "A few days off won't be too bad". Lalavava muttered, as she sucked in some air. "You gonna put on a shirt, or what?". Lalavava muttered.
"Perhaps in a bit….for now, I wished to comfort Emily….she needs a soothing image….while she takes her medicine, and gets ready for the day". Mandark said, kindly as he brushed Emily's cheeks. "Mmm, she seems much calmer, and much more composed than normal". "She's just drinking away at her milk….she looks somewhat sleepy, though". Lalavava said, warmly as she brushed Emily's cheeks as well. "She is sleepy now…I gave her some Xanax along with her cannabis to calm her while she does Thanksgiving with us". "She gets very depressed, and tearful this time of year because it reminds her of her late family". Mandark whispered. "So…you drugged her heavily?". Lalavava asked, in a whisper. "I may have drugged her, but she should be ok for the week, and weekend". "She needs something to help her along….because she's been really suffering for a while now". Mandark whispered. "Yes, I'm sure around the holidays, she becomes much more depressed than usual". "Anyone who has lost family certainly does become choleric around the holidays….whether they be dismal, tearful, or pensive". Lalavava replied, as she buttoned her thick lips, sympathetically.
Mandark watched as Emily drank some milk from her sippy cup. Emily's eyes remained tired, exhausted, and melancholy as she looked upwards from her sippy cup. She sighed a deep, depressed sigh as she looked upwards, while her eyes began to fall. "You're my sweet baby pie….aren't you?". "Baby baby baby pie". Mandark said, kindly with soothing gentleness and softness. He tickled Emily's cheeks, as she nodded, carefully.
"You did so well in taking your medicine today, honey". "Cookie is so proud of you, baby pie". Mandark said, soothingly with kind gentleness as he smiled, kissing both of Emily's cheeks while she nodded, quietly. "Hey, honey….can I tickle your cheekies, too?". Lalavava asked, kindly with soothing gentleness. "Remember when I first met you at the Children's Hospital, and I used to tickle your cheeks and you'd laugh and laugh?". "That's how we bonded and became best friends as sisters". "You and I….we'd bond and laugh…you were so happy when your face just lit up". Lalavava said, kindly with soothing gentleness. Emily nodded. "Tickle tickle". Lalavava giggled, as she tickled Emily's cheeks. Emily nodded again. "I want Mandark to tickle my face". Emily replied, as she put her hands up.
"See that now?". "She likes me better….I feel honored…today's my lucky day". Mandark scoffed, jokingly as he made a face towards Lalavava, blowing her a raspberry. "Every day's your lucky day". Lalavava scoffed back, as she and Mandark laughed.
"Baby darling….Emily….let me give you some more chocolate for your almond milk….and a kiss on the cheeks for being such a beautiful baby to me….my favorite". Mandark said, soothingly with gentleness. Mandark mixed in some chocolate for Emily, and planted a kiss on her cheeks. "Don't I get anything?". Lalavava asked, as she chuckled.
"Not exactly….you're not my favorite….she is". "She's the youngest, so she gets all of the kisses". Mandark said, warmly as he kissed Emily's cheeks again. "Isn't that right, baby pie?". Mandark smiled as he kissed Emily's cheeks, lovingly. "Yeah". Emily replied.
"Well, I would agree with that". "She's my favorite as well….coochie coo". Lalavava said, kindly with soothingness as she kissed Emily's cheek on one side, while Mandark kissed Emily's cheek on the other side. Emily nodded, as she drank more from her sippy cup.
"I've noticed something in the oatmeal box where I make all of her breakfast….this black spot that seems to be moving a bit…like there's a colony of mites in there, or something". Mandark remarked. "That is a moist colony of ladybugs in her oatmeal….it was moving this morning when I went to check it for a moment". "That, and I went to freshen up in your room, there's a moist spot on your wall where the centipedes reside….it seems to be getting softer, I was wondering if we could get an exterminator to check that out". Lalavava muttered. "Mmm, we might need to get rid of them….I'll call the exterminator this week". Mandark replied. "Yes, we'll make sure the big, bad, scary bugs don't hurt us….huh, coochie?". Mandark kissed Emily's cheek and ear, as she nodded, closing her eyes. "Yeah". She replied, tiredly. "I lo-ove you". "I lo-ove you". Mandark hummed in a gentle, soothing, softened, singsong voice as he nuzzled Emily kindly. "I love you too". Emily replied. "That's our bedtime song, huh, baby?". "That, and "My special angel". Mandark whispered, soothingly with elated, kind, happiness. A breathy, excited, nourishing whisper.
"Yeah". Emily replied, as she looked around quietly. "Indeed yes….we have a beautiful bedtime song that reflects the both of us….and how happy we are". Mandark said, kindly with soothingness. "We do". Emily replied. "Mmmm, and I love you as well, honey". "Nothing could ever separate us…..we are so close….we're all family, and the love we have is forever". Lalavava said, kindly with soothing gentleness. "Ok". Emily replied.
"Mmmm, what should we do today?". "I have the hot tub…and the pool, we could take a swim….if we wish to". "It's whatever we wish to do….I'm good with anything". Mandark said, gently with kind soothingness. "Let's get in the pool for a while…it's a hot day, and I've been dying of insomnia, and of heat…let's get in". Lalavava said, warmly as she scooped Emily up in her arms. "I have a cute bathing suit you could wear…..it is embroidered, and it is perfect for hanging out by the pool, or swimming". "I got it in Prague when I went….and it only cost me 8 grand". "Custom made by designer Gucci". Lalavava said, gently as she helped Emily undress, putting on her bathing suit. "You look beautiful, darling". "I never knew true beauty until I met the beholder". Mandark said, kindly with a soothing voice as Emily came outside in her bathing suit.
"Thank you". Emily replied, quietly as she drank from her sippy cup. "Mmm, it feels nice and refreshing in here…..it feels warm, but not that warm that it isn't refreshing". "It feels beautiful in here….I need to take a dip more often, myself". Mandark said, gently with soothingness. "It is pretty nice….it makes me want to escape from work more often, and have a good dip in the pool". Lalavava said, in an equally as soothing of a voice. She smiled, chuckling.
"Mmmm, Emily, darling…you're not interested in coming in?". "It feels nice". Mandark said, kindly with soothing softness. "Come to me, Emily, honey". "Come give me a hug, and we'll cool off a bit". Mandark smiled, as he held out his arms for Emily to come into.
Emily came to his arms, as he helped her into the pool. "That's so sweet". "You're so good with her, Ivan". "She really trusts you, she listens and responds to you….you're a favorite of hers, perhaps". Lalavava said, kindly with a soothing, gentle voice. "She does respond well, it seems". "She loves when I hug her, or brush her face….sing to her at bedtime, or kiss her cheeks". "She loves it so much….and I love knowing that I feel much safer beside her….after she saved my life, and gave me another chance, I feel so blessed". Mandark said, in a warm, soothing, nourishing voice, as he held Emily in his arms. Emily snuggled close to Mandark, laying her head on his chest, as she shivered a bit.
"Is the water too cold?". Mandark whispered, gently in a soothing, kind, softened voice as he kissed Emily's cheek. "I can warm it up a bit if we want". Mandark whispered, kindly in a suggestion.
"No, I'm ok….Thank you". Emily replied, as she shivered some more. "Only if you're sure, honey". "I brought a warm towel outside so we can snuggle in after we soak for a bit". Mandark whispered, kindly with soothing softness. "Thank you". Emily replied.
Mandark smiled, as he kissed Emily's cheeks, gently. "So, I got the Turkey from Winn Dixie…it should be delicious enough". "It's perfect for a family of 5…I'll have my private chef cook it early on….it shouldn't be that bad…hopefully". "We'll see what we can do". Mandark proposed in a soothing, gentle, kind, softened voice. "Sounds fine by me". Lalavava muttered back.
"So, how has business been?". "The dividends look quite nice this quarter….nothing early or late to disrupt them….they look steady and viable….something colloquial for the both of us". Mandark said, as he held Emily, while she drank from her sippy cup. "We had a quarterly productivity and ad campaign meeting with our providers from Bangladesh….so nothing was too insurmountable, or dissented there". Lalavava replied. "I just got back from a 15 hour flight from Bangladesh for a 12 hour productivity meeting, and unveiling of our new marketed product". "I'm beat". Lalavava chuckled. "I'm sure you are….and I'm beat as well". "A 40 hour workweek doing numbers, and stock exchanges, it takes the life out of a man". "Luckily, I have my best friend, and heroine beside me….yes, I do". Mandark said, kindly with soothingness as he kissed Emily's cheeks, gently. Emily nodded.
"She's my best friend as well….she breathes life in me….and she makes me happiest". Lalavava said, kindly with gentle, softened soothingness. They both laughed, as Emily continued to shiver.
"She's cold, she needs the towel more than anyone now". Mandark whispered. "Ready to get out now, honey?". "I have some Oat Milk, and cookies waiting for us inside". Mandark smiled as he kissed Emily's cheeks, gently. Emily nodded, as her eyes began to fall. "I want to sleep". Emily mumbled, rubbing her eyes. "Of course, honey". "Let's get you situated on the nearby chaise….and we'll wake you up later when mommy and daddy arrive". Mandark proposed, as he wrapped Emily up in a towel, setting her down on the long chaise. He comforted Emily….stroking her cheeks, brushing her face, and comforting her…there by her side until she fell asleep. He sang her a lullaby, while Lalavava spent her time in the pool. By this time, dark clouds rolled in….and it was grounds for a classic loud thunderstorm.
Emily was comforted, brushed, and stroked by a gentle, loving Mandark. "No worries now, darling". "Everything will be quite alright". Mandark whispered, kindly with gentle soothingness and softness. Emily slept on the chaise….all wrapped up in a blanket, as she laid her head down, sleeping soundly. Mandark smiled as he got back into the pool. "She seems content there". Mandark whispered, elated, as he sat down in the shallow end. "Beautiful". Lalavava whispered, as she kept her spot in the shallow end as well.
"How has she been these past few weeks, and months?". "Has she been tearful, saddened, melancholy, or anything?". "How about her energy level….has it been up or down?". Lalavava asked in a gentle whisper. "She's been in a happy, sanguine, loving, kind, and elated mood recently". "She's much more focused, much more energetic, she loves snuggling in bed beside me on stormy nights when she becomes scared, she loves giving kisses, and when we snuggle, it's unparalleled….but she loves it when I soothe her after a long day at school, or choir practice, she loves when we snuggle in, and when I whisper and sing one of her favorite lullabies her late mom used to sing". "She loves when I kiss her cheeks, and stroke her face….when I reassure her that everything will be ok". "She just admires me….and I admire her….she has come such a long way through healing and attachment since we adopted her….and she has become so assured in herself…..she has made strides". Mandark whispered, as he smiled.
"Has she attended grief therapy yet for healing?". "Mom and dad were thinking of setting her up with a counselor to help her heal in a consecutive, loving, peaceful manner". Lalavava whispered, as she felt her lips begin to quiver. "I've considered it…we might set her up with one of the best ones I'm dutifully aware of…Ire Sinctum Baboon….better known as I.R. Baboon". Mandark whispered. "He is a very loving, comforting, gentle, sanguine, docile, sagacious man who is well-versed in helping young children become better acclimated to the grieving process….and to overcoming stress, and sadness aligned and associated with grief, international adoption, and Autism". "He loves his clients, and better yet-he can help grieving children through a gentle, loving, wise, perspicacious process that better attunes their ability to recognize themselves, and what strengths and weaknesses they have". Mandark coughed a smoker's cough. Mandark's lips quivered as well.
"That sounds beautiful". Lalavava whispered, as she smiled. "She needs someone after what she's experienced…..a friend, a mentor, and someone she can easily rely on in case she needs it". Lalavava chuckled a bit.
"A man was all I could find in the efficacies of counselors". "Men aren't that horrible, though". "Baboons aren't that bad, either". "Emily will find peace in her midst, and she'll recognize what strengths and weaknesses she's attuned to". "The best thing for a grieving child is to know that she's loved….by many and by all". Mandark whispered.
Lalavava nodded. "I agree in the dissenting opinion". "Emily definitely will find peace in her day….and she'll begin to seek shelter in the knowledge and wisdom of plenty". "She deserves so much love, and kindness. "She has changed so many lives…..I just feel good by being beside her in consequence". Lalavava whispered. Mandark nodded, as he glanced over at Emily….who was deep in sleep.
The door quietly opened, as a hippie couple snuck outside being as quiet as they possibly could. "Hi, everyone". Oceanbird whispered, kindly as she smiled, sneaking a quiet, gentle wave. "Hello, hello". Windbear whispered, gently as he came outside, shirtless and ready for the pool. "Hey, what's going on, mom and dad?". Mandark whispered, kindly with soothing gentleness. "Mmmm, nothing much….we came back for Thanksgiving, and forgot how hot it was….with that lovely adage in mind, we'd like to take a dip in the nice pool". Oceanbird whispered, gently.
"Go right ahead….Emily felt tired, so I put her down for a while….she's been sleeping so soundly, nothing seems to wake her up". Mandark whispered, gently. "This weekend is a difficult one for her due to the grief she feels about her late family…..so I decided to make it a bit easier on her, and give her some Xanax…..she should be good for a while". Mandark smiled a warm smile, seeing Emily as she was laying on the chaise. "She should be…..0.034 milligrams of Xanax mixed with Cannabis causes drowsiness, and some increased appetite…which should be perfect for her this weekend". Oceanbird whispered, kindly. "Yes, if she's ready to have a traditional Thanksgiving". Windbear whispered, gently, as he chuckled. Mandark nodded, as he replied with a curt, and quiet, "mmm hmm".
"But in all seriousness, Xanax will have an interaction with Cannabis so it does increase levels of sleepiness and lethargy". "Perhaps with Autism, catatonia might be present". Windbear whispered, gently. "It might be, although one wouldn't exactly know straight away". "She doesn't display any symptoms of Catatonia really, so, one wouldn't need to worry". Mandark whispered.
"She doesn't display any symptoms of lethargy, or Autistic burnout?". Windbear asked, whispering. "She hasn't displayed any symptoms, really". "She sometimes does become tired at the end of the day, and wishes to be by herself…..sometimes, she will become bored at social events, and try her best to make time for herself….but she won't become catatonic, or lethargic….she's not that severe". Mandark whispered.
"I think perhaps what she struggles with most, is grief….and sadness". "I've considered putting her on a low dosage of an antidepressant, but those increase the dangerous aspects in children". "Cannabis helps more than anything". Mandark continued, whispering.
"How about a serotonin pill, or a psychostimulant, or reuptake inhibitor?". "She might benefit from that….she is a bit depressed as of now…..a reuptake inhibitor will strengthen her mood, and put her in a good place". Oceanbird whispered. "I've discussed it with her pediatrician….he believes she should stay on cannabis, and maybe add some caffeine….something like soda, or an energy shake that will allow her to focus, and stay on the task at hand". "We've discussed some medications for her…..medication, talk therapy, some light caffeine, or a baby chocolate oat milk supplement containing caffeine….something that will help her focus, and stay awake during the day". Mandark whispered. "She's on 3 different medicines now for her stomach, for her chest, because she suffers from costochondritis due to a mild injury in the plane crash, and her shoulder because she suffers from Neoplasia due to rescuing me from a collapsed building". "She is on different medicines during the day…..and she has no problem taking them, either". "She is doing so well now". "She has had a rough childhood, but she has prevailed…and she is my guardian angel….I can truly say that I feel safest around her….and I feel like a true, genuine, giving, and charitable human being around my Emily". "She has given me so much….and I feel so thankful for her…..what I have….and all that I am….I owe to her". Mandark whispered, as he glanced at Emily while she slept.
"I'm happy, son". "Yes, she is an incredible human being…..someone who only comes around every few millennia to change the course of history…..and I truly believe she is that human being". Windbear whispered, excitedly with elation as he smiled, seeing Emily stir in her sleep.
Mandark nodded, as he smiled….watching Emily sleep. Mandark talked with his parents for a while…..as he wiped his eyes. "I just feel so bad for her that she experienced so much in her infancy…..she truly does deserve much better". Mandark whispered. Windbear smiled a kind, warm, wise, clever smile. "You've given her more than what she needs….you've given her a mentor, a companion, and a friend…..a big brother who loves his sister….his child dearly". Windbear whispered, kindly with gentleness. Windbear rose from the pool, going over to see Emily while she slept soundly on the chaise. He gently and kindly sat next to Emily, as she slept.
Windbear left Emily alone, and allowed her time to sleep….he just looked at her while she slept soundly. "I love you". Windbear whispered, kindly with soothingness, as his belly looked thick, and chubby. He had a dad belly.
Windbear was shirtless at this point…..and leaned over to brush Emily's cheeks, lovingly. He laid beside her, protecting her as he smiled.
There were quiet footsteps for a moment…..quiet, small, and miniscule. A certain redheaded brat with freckles, and a bikini bathing suit from Emily's science class came in. Princess Morbucks was there….and still 3 biological years older than Emily. 12…about to be 13. Emily had just turned 9.
Morbucks smiled a kind, soothing, sympathetic, loving smile as she saw Emily while she rested. "There she is…my best friend in the world…..I thought she might be here….and she's sleeping now, isn't she?". Morbucks whispered, gently in a softened, soothing whisper. "She's been sleeping for an hour or so now….but she'll be awake, soon". Windbear whispered, kindly. He watched as Emily slept.
Windbear smiled. "Are you a friend of Emily's?". Windbear asked, in a gentle, soothing whisper. "I am, in fact". "I was here to see if she wanted to spend Thanksgiving with me?". "I could certainly use a friend to hang out with…..and spend some time with". "She's my best friend…..and I'm so happy we're close….she means the world to me". Morbucks whispered, gently. Windbear nodded. "She loves you a lot as well….and that is very nice you came in to check on her…..she's really thankful you're her friend as well". Windbear whispered, gently.
"Thank you, it means a lot to me". Morbucks whispered, as she saw Emily laying while she and Windbear smiled…..they sat at a fair distance on the big chaise….protecting Emily….admiring Emily…..all while she slept soundly.
Mandark whispered to Princess Morbucks for a while….about Emily's Autism, and about her hardships…..Princess listened intently as she comforted Emily.
Emily stirred a bit in the middle of the day on the chaise…..as a depressed sigh came from her. A soft cry was heard from her, as her body began shaking. Windbear rubbed Emily's back soothingly as he tenderly comforted her. "Everything is ok now, honey". "Daddy's here….daddy's got you…..I won't let you go". Windbear whispered, gently with kind, loving soothingness. Windbear kept Emily close….soothing her, kissing her as she cried. "Mandark". "I want Mandark". Emily said, as she cried, putting her hands up.
Emily turned over, rocking back and forth on her hands. "It's ok….I'll make certain he comes to see you, coochie". Windbear whispered, gently with a kind, nourishing, soothing voice. Mandark came to see Emily as he sat beside her. "Darling….is everything ok?". Mandark whispered, soothingly with gentle kindness. "I had a nightmare". Emily said, as she turned over.
"Is everything ok now, lovey?". Mandark whispered in a soothing, gentle, loving, and kind voice. "I'm fine". Emily said, tiredly as she rubbed her eyes. Mandark held Emily close, kissing her cheeks, lovingly. "I thought you might be ok….you have a tendency to make me wonder". Mandark whispered in a soothing, kind, gentle whisper. He and Emily chuckled, as Mandark brushed her face, gently. "I lo-ove you". "I lo-ove you". Mandark whispered soothingly with kind, loving, and soothing gentleness as he sang her a lullaby in a softened hum. "You will always be…my special angel". Mandark continued singing as he brushed her cheeks with his fingers.
Emily closed her eyes again, as Mandark wrapped her in his towel, carrying her inside. "Is she good?". Lalavava asked, kindly with a soothing, loving, and kind whisper. "She had a nightmare about the plane crash….that's all it was". Mandark whispered. Oceanbird smiled a gentle, loving, and soothing smile. "She is so precious…..so beautiful, in fact…..she needs the light, and cadence of her mother". "Could I comfort her for a while?". Oceanbird whispered, kindly. Mandark gave his mom a quizzical look. "I was thinking of giving her a bath for a while…just so she can put her P.J.'s on, and just relax for the next few hours while we get things ready for tomorrow". Mandark whispered.
"I can bathe with her….if possible". Oceanbird whispered, kindly. "Draw us a bath….and we'll appreciate it". Oceanbird smiled a kind smile. She tickled Emily's cheeks, as Emily nodded.
"Certainly, mother". Mandark replied, as he set Emily down, and Oceanbird undressed her. "There we go, darling". "Much like the caterpillar emerges from its chrysalis, we undergo our own metamorphosis, and we see the love that is endowed in us from the beginning". Oceanbird said, kindly in an incredibly gentle, loving, soothing, and softened voice. "You and I have emerged….haven't we, little comet?". Oceanbird whispered, soothingly with kind gentleness. Emily nodded, rubbing her eyes, while the 100 degree bath was drawn, and laid out steadily.
"Smile for me, darling". "Remember I'm always beside you…and I'll protect you the way you protected your older brother….you make me so proud". Oceanbird whispered in an incredibly soothing, gentle, loving, and kind voice. Oceanbird undressed Emily, while undressing herself, and coming into the bathtub. "Yes, you are so beautiful to me, little one….you make me happiest". Oceanbird said, soothingly with gentle kindness. Emily nodded.
The warm water soothed them…melting them in gentleness, kindness, and love most of all. Emily warmed herself, as she blinked back tiredness. "You are my baby….forever and always". Oceanbird whispered, gently with soothingness. Her large, slinking breasts showed, as she shampooed Emily's hair, and washed her body….rinsing her under warm water, while massaging her face…..and singing her a lullaby…keeping Emily close to the warmth of her breasts. "My Special Angel", was sung….though, Oceanbird decided to sing her own lullaby.
"In your arms….I can still feel the way you love me when you hold me". "I can still feel the winds of lovely when I kiss you…..always, and for-ever in your arms".
"But there ain't no way…I'm letting you go now…and there ain't no way…I'd try with my little no how, never see the night…never see the day…ay, ay ay". "I'm keeping you forever and for al-ways". "We will be together til the end of our days…want to wake up in the morning to your sweet face….always…yeah". Oceanbird sang this Shania Twain song as a lullaby, as she brushed Emily's cheeks…spreading her legs to create intimacy and rejuvenation for Emily…though Emily squirmed a bit…uneasy.
"No…you're not leaving my arms, little one". "Try as you might….you're staying right here, beside me". "It's ok, little angel….baby comet…close your eyes….take a nice, deep breath….just relax, and unwind…..everything will be ok, now". "You are ok now….I certainly promise you". "My darling". Oceanbird whispered in a soothing, kind, gentle, loving, softened, nourishing voice. She soothed Emily…brushing her cheeks in a soothing, loving manner, as she hummed a gentle lullaby…coaxing Emily into comfort. "There you are now….just a few deep breaths, breathe in….breathe out….you're doing well now". "Mommy loves you so much, darling". "You've given mommy everything….we love you so much, baby". Oceanbird soothed kindly with gentle softness. Emily nodded, as she felt the comfort of Oceanbird's breasts.
Emily laid her head down, while Oceanbird hummed a lullaby. There was humming in the shower beside them, as Windbear took his hot shower. "Nice and warm, nice and toasty in this palace". "Our boy, Susan, has it very well". Windbear chuckled, as he soaped all of his areas…including his privates.
"Ohhhhh, Emily". Windbear mumbled, chuckling. "Emily, baby….it's so warm, and amazing….this lavender soap is amazing". "Mmmm, Maschkrita, come join me for a bit….mmmm, I love a nice shower, and a nice thought about my baby Emily". Windbear mumbled, kindly with seduction as he thought about Emily while soaping his privates.
When the shower was over….Oceanbird was in the midst of massaging Emily's face, stimulating her by blowing on her face. "Does that feel nice, honey?". Oceanbird asked, kindly with soothing gentleness. "Yeah". Emily replied. "Mommy thinks it feels nice, too". Oceanbird said, gently. They both laughed, as Oceanbird scooted up to see her husband emerge from the shower.
"There's daddy….he's so excited to see you". "Daddy has a belly that's so big, huh?". Oceanbird soothed Emily in a softened, gentle, cuddly tone of voice. "Yeah!". Emily giggled, as she and her adoptive mom laughed.
"Yes, I do have a chunky belly….chunky funk". Windbear giggled, gently as he played with his belly button, making it whistle. Emily and Oceanbird laughed. "Daddy's silly, huh?". Oceanbird said, in a soothing softened, gentle, cuddly voice. "Yes, I am a silly person, sometimes". "Your old man is a silly little coot". Windbear said, kindly with soothing, gentle, cuddly softness. He and Emily laughed.
"There she is….there comes our sweet baby, darling girl….she just needed to be let out". Windbear said, kindly with soothingness. "Yes, it seems she was here all along". "She needed to be played with, held, sung to, and loved….and she came out of her cave to see us". Oceanbird said, soothingly with gentle, softened, lovingness. She tickled Emily's cheeks, as Emily giggled.
"Now, and perhaps….I would tend to believe that it's time for us to rise from the tub, have some lunch, and get our baby down for her nap". Oceanbird said, soothingly with gentle kindness. Windbear smiled. "I tend to agree". Windbear replied, gently. Emily was wrapped in a towel, dressed in her pajamas, her hair dried, and braided by Oceanbird, as Windbear picked her up, holding her in his arms, as he carried her outside, holding her to his bare chest…his nipples, while he went outside. Mandark talked with his sister, as a robe remained around him…along with some silk boxers. "How was the shower?". Mandark asked, as he talked with Lalavava.
"It was nice….the water heats to a nice temperature in there….mom kept Emily safe in the tub….they were bonding….Emily's doing well….she just needs some of her medicine, and she might need to be put down for a while". Windbear replied.
"I think it is time for Emily's nap now…at least a short bedtime for a little while". "She's been awake for a while now….she is exhausted". Mandark replied, as he tickled Emily's cheeks. "Ready for bed, little one?". Mandark asked, kindly with soothing gentleness. "I am". Emily said, as she rubbed her eyes, tiredly. "I'll bring her into bed, be sure that she has a comforting sleep". Windbear said, kindly in a soothing voice. Windbear brought Emily into Mandark's room, as he set her down, tucking her into bed. "Why do I have to go to bed?". Emily asked.
"It's time for a nap, honey". "Besides, you are very tired this afternoon". "Let's just chill for a bit….we'll put some television on….just take a deep breath, close your eyes, and relax". Windbear whispered, gently with soothingness as he smacked his lips, sucking in some air. "Daddy might hold you, little one". "That's it…drink some oat milk….you got your medicine earlier….you're doing so well, little sapling". Windbear whispered in a gentle, soothing whisper. "Thank you". Emily replied, tiredly as she laid her head down….sleeping soundly. Windbear smiled a gentle, soothing smile, as he began snoring. Princess Morbucks snuck in….seeing Emily sleep, as she snuggled in close to her….holding her, cuddling her, as a best friend would….and they both slept….soundly at that. Emily slept, as she laid her head down….just finding solace and peace in sleep. The others outside, talked and socialized. Mandark talked with Lalavava, while Oceanbird slept in the other room. It was a peaceful afternoon…as everyone relaxed, and slept….including Emily.
