I know your busy and hope your taking care of yourself! I love seeing your name pop up and always get so excited to answer your questions, so lets GO! First, How is Mare going to deal with the Volturi? Well...I don't know, who knows if we'll even get there now;) Second, as for the cell phone, we're currently in the year 2003, so cell phones aren't really too popular at the moment, but Twilight starts in 2005 when cell phones start to become more and more a thing..so maybe. Mare comes from a bit further in the future in 2018 so thats why she has in chapter 1. Third, would Alice see her going home..well Alice and Edward have expressed issues with seeing Mare's future or hearing her thoughts, so if Mare leaves, who knows if Alice will or will not see it. Spoiler lol she doesn't. Thank you for taking the time to read and review every chapter it honestly makes my day when I see your name pop up, I actually get very excited! I love seeing your thought process world out all of my little hints and easter eggs! You make me smile and I do so hope your doing okay! You bring a smile to my face and I appreciate you so much! DemonWolf25-Oh my goodness! Thank you for catching that for me, I edit these late in the night or early in the morning, so I must have missed that one. I went ahead and changed it! Thank you! As for the happy ending, I don't believe in sad ones so take with that what you will. I really just want to get all the bad things and Mare's own character development out of the way so that way when I speed ahead and Bella comes into play, the focus on Mare is less, and I promise you things become much much less. As for how long this can go on, I'm going to be honest with you yet again...I don't know. I actually never liked Twilight so when the spark for this story fades that's kind of it. I have a few more chapters pre saved and ready to edit, but once again I just don't know. Lastly I never put Bella in the character list because I didn't think I would ever get that far, when I read Twilight Bella was actually my least favorite character. I hope that answers some questions. I hope you stick around but if not, thank you so much for reading up until now.

I honestly thought wanted to keep going, but it just felt better to end it there, but I do promise, theirs only a few more cliffhangers and then things will even out a bit more. I understand the anxiety and how upsetting cliffhangers like these are, so my friend if you need too, send me a personal message and I will gladly spoil the next chapter for you so you're not losing sleep! It's important to me, that your happy and healthy, both physically and mentally, so I will happily, let you know all the details before I post next so you feel better! As for your question, the story takes place almost exactly one year before Twilight. Edward and the others are currently either Sophomores or Juniors and Mare herself is a Freshman. Twilight takes place in early 2005, so it's currently December 2003. I've been trying to be careful about not letting anything passed 2003 slip by but if it did, oops.
