"Hey Bobby, if you get my message, please call back. Call in Sam and Dean on this one too. This is an emergency, apparently a big cosmic deity before stone age has resurfaced and causing too big of a mess to miss", Castiel tiredly tried to call Bobby Singer, who had not picked up the phones for the last few hours. It even went into a panic zone because Cass thought some old enemies might have done something to his dear friend.

Since he couldn't contact the hunter with paranoia, Cass paid a visit to Bobby's place himself. The house was messier than usual, but it did not appear to be attacked or something. The Angel ventured down the basement and it turned out, Bobby had been spending the last few hours refurbishing the panic room ever since Castiel accidentally blew it all off along with the basement when he released Sam out.

"Hey Cass, you need something?", Bobby asked, ignorant of Castiel's boiling worries.

"Were you redecorating this place for the last few hours?", Castiel asked with a tranquil fury.

"Yeah. Ever since some idjit unleashed junkie-Sammy and slammed this place down, I gotta redo the whole place"

"Yes, I do apologize for that. But now, I need your help, Bobby", Castiel's tone had calmed down slightly, sounding guilty for breaking Bobby's room.

"Okay, what do you need?"

"There's a cosmic being. It was a deity worshipped in a war-torn nation in African regions. I got intel from a friend, and today, I investigated an ancient, abandoned temple underneath a coal mine. I took a photo of the statue here", Castiel handed Bobby the photo he took from the statue.

"I've never seen this being before. Before your angel buddies and all the Archangels and Apocalypse, our monsters are not this much threatening. Worse we can get once some months of this level would be a bunch of pagan deities out of worship", Bobby commented.

"I figure you would have a thing or two. Thank you for your time anyway. Should I fix it back in place for you?"

"Well, it has been a little tiring to mend things then and there, so yeah, go ahead champ".

Castiel quickly restore the panic room and scorch the spell-craft to every single inch of the room, and it did not take him too long. Cass left Bobby's house dissatisfied with the current progress. With that much clue, that deity would probably be a real threat here. When things seem to be a little desperate, Cass realized he never tried to ask Bobby about the cult and the symbol itself. While he was imbued with God's wisdom, it was very clear that Castiel was only a novice detective and hunter on his own. He might be nearly all-powerful and there's absolutely no problem he cannot solve with his powers, but he was out of depth here. He need to look for the cult itself, and trail it to the god in question.

Castiel returned to that coal mine in Africa and started investigate more thoroughly. The temple was worn down, so it must have been out of use for a while. However, the architecture and some of the engine for opening the doors were still functional, meaning someone relive the cult a while back. Based on how well it functions, it could be that the place was out of use for only a couple of decades at most. Castiel also tried to look for further inscription or texts in the temple. Apparently that would be harder to look for. From what he had gathered, this temple was very ancient, perhaps predating Adam and Lilith themselves. The mythology surrounding this deity is very old and might have fell out of memory, but recently resurfaced. Primary worshippers highly likely included alien beings, but this theory need confirmation. Any lore or mythology surrounding the deity is not yet found, and so taking offensive actions would be very dangerous. The Angels also didn't station on Earth during this time, and so their intel would be insufficient. Suddenly, Castiel received a call from Bobby Singer.

"Hey Cass, remember the god and the cult you buzzed me a while back? Apparently I have an individual who can help us with this problem", Bobby called.

"Great, where can I find this person", Castiel's interest was renewed.

"Yeah, unfortunately, she's dead. Made some deal and hellhound seized her ass to Hell just a while before Dean. She used to steal the amulet resembling this cult symbol and sold it on the black market."

"Do you at least have a name?"

"Yeah, her name's Bela Talbot. You can find Dean and Sam if you wanna ask."

Castiel had never knew about Bela Talbot at all because Dean was the only one who mattered at the time. The Angel in the trench coat visited Dean at his Burger-and-Pie Restaurant to ask and to have a meal. Castiel took a good look at Dean's passionate cooking. The former hunter was happy and content with his work, his apple pie life. Castiel felt a sense of guilt that Dean was still hunting, more so now, because he was dragging his ward into something arguably worse than the Apocalypse. Cass tried to leave, but Dean's already out to fetch his best friend. Even though it was really crowded at the time, Dean still took some time to sit with his best friend and senior brother, to whom Dean owed his life to. After all, even if Dean's the main chef of his restaurant in the rush hour, Cass was still the one who gripped Dean tight and raised him from perdition, not to mention risking his entire existence to give humanity a chance.

"Hello Dean, I'm just here to...have a meal I want to try and um...to visit you and Lisa", Castiel stiffly spoke, trying to hide his intentions.

"You need something, don't you? You're still a bad liar"

"Yeah I figure. Well, I just need intel on a hunter named Bela Talbot. I heard she's an acquaintance of you and Sam, and she got dragged into Hell by a demon deal a short while before you"

"Well, that's the best way to summarize that. Why, did something come up?"

"Umm...there's an ancient deity I wanted to hunt down, but umm, there's no clue for me to uncover. Nothing that can be found in the temple. His cult has mysterious activities that seems to have been on the move ever since Adam and Lilith. Now, from Bobby, I heard that she's in possession of an amulet that has connection to said god"

"For one, my man, she's no hunter. Just a posh, wealthy thief stealing magical relics. And believe me, you do not want to work with her. She's even worse that Gabriel in terms of being a trickster. Trust me on that, cause she has been conning me and Sam to death's door a number of times. Getting into troubles with her is not worth the efforts at all", Dean said with some tone of disgust to his voice, reminiscence the bad time they got.

"Well, I have been intending to resurrect her"

Dean immediately spit beer out of his mouth when he heard that before bellying out a big laughter. He tried to assure his angel buddy that dealing with Talbot would be troublesome as heck, but Castiel already made up his mind when Bobby Singer told him about her. Dean didn't try to dissuade Castiel any further, because he knew how strong his best friend's willpower is. Plus, Bela Talbot, for all the troubles she caused, usually wouldn't cause a full-blown Apocalypse, so there's that. Castiel stayed a little further to taste burger and pie Dean had to offer, and with his sense of taste dulled down to human level, it was really an enjoyment to taste Dean's food. It was no wonder why the Winchester's restaurant is so crowded.

-In Hell-

It had been years. Hundreds, thousands, millions, it matters not anymore. The only thing Bela had known of in all of her pathetic existence is that it is a heap of divine comedy, of utmost misery. When she was a young, innocent girl, her father sexually abused her and her mother beaten her to half-death every damn time. Her mother said Bela had been seducing her father. She grew up in wealth, but was it worth it when her parents, who were supposed to protect and love and care for her, did the utmost repulsive things they could have done to an innocent child. Just to make it worse, Bela's parents had forsaken their humanity and succumbed to demonic transformations, and now, they're the demons torturing their former daughter. Mr and Mrs. Talbot mercilessly and cruelly humiliated Bela, pushing her to the brink of despair. Hell's greatest weapon has always been hope, not despair. Hope. With her limbs tore of day-by-day and restored at the end by her own mother, Bela's pain was excruciating. Her father did...even more deplorable thing than when it was on Earth.

Bela couldn't tell if time had stopped and the universe had been gone. And frankly, it could hardly register as a concern to her anymore. Her limbs were hooked and stitched to another damned soul of a woman, for today, Mr. Talbot had figured out a new torture trick to satisfy his disgusting taste. Just as things were about to get worse and worse, Hell suddenly shook. The sky tore itself opened violently, with puddle of blood and darkness raining itself downward and disintegrating. The usually red lightning bolts turned blue, striking the demons instead of the damned souls, temporarily distorted their dark essence. There was a very bright light that tore itself through the infernal dark pit, washing clean any demons as they screamed a nightmarish screech. Screams after screams, Bela's eyes curiously tried to look for the commotions. Immediately though, her soul was painfully tore away from the damned soul she was stitched on. The last thing Bela saw was a very bright light blinding her own eyes as the demons were destroyed, screaming a damned screech as they die.

Unconscious for a very long time, Bela dreamt of fizzing images. She finally woke up in a room. It was not a room she could recognize, for it was not a place she was familiar with. She found herself in the Earthly plane once again. Bela couldn't believe it. She was resurrected, freed from her shackles in Hell.
