Harry was in the kitchen preparing lunch when there was a knock on the door.

Vernon frowned from his position on the dining-table, then turned and glared at Harry. Harry nodded and moved towards the door, but was stopped by Aunt Petunia.

"You, finish that", she sneered at him, then stood up and moved to the door. Harry went back to cooking.

It wasn't even a minute later when Aunt Petunia came running back into the room that startled the other three occupants.

"To your cupboard", she growled at him. "Now".

Harry paused momentarily, shocked; even Vernon looked shocked, and Dudley did too.

"What is pet?".

"It's them". she cut him off bouncing off her feet like an excited three year child getting a hand full of candy. "Its the Northerns".

Harry startled, then his eyes widened. He knew who the Northerns were; they were the family across the street.

Vernon's eyes widened, mirroring his wife's expression. The smile slipped from his face as he turned to sneer at the dark-haired four-year-old.

"To your cupboard, you brat!".

Harry immediately scrambled away, running to the cupboard under the stairs. He opened it and scrambled inside. It wasn't much, but he was safe from the three outside. And that was enough for him. He heard a noise from outside and he knew they had locked the door.

Harry sighed and drew his knees closer to him. He folded his hands on them and placed his head on his closed hands. He would just have to wait it out.

OUTSIDE

Petunia opened the door with a wide smile, a smile she had practiced a lot.

"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Northern, nice to see you".

Mr. Northern a man with pale white skin and snow white hair smiled at her.

"Mrs. Duserly, please call me Christian, and the lady beside me is Diana".

Petiuna looked at the woman beside her and tried not to frown. She kept looking at her with a blank expression. Petiuna ignored her and returned her gaze to the man.

"Then you might as well call me Petunia, please come in.".

She stepped aside and allowed the pair to walk in, taking note of their reactions.

"Please come." She led them to the living room where Vernon was already seated. She had sent Dudley upstairs to change into something nice and wait for her to call him down.

The pair took a seat on the couch, right across from Vernon. Meanwhile, Petunia went ahead to sit beside her husband.

"Now that we're all seated," Diana said, getting the other two's attention. "Where is the boy?"

That startled Petunia and Vernon.

" What-What boy? Oh you must mean my Dudley. I'll call him". She moved to stand up but the glare on Diana's face made her sit down.

Christian chuckled and turned to look at his wife. "Don't worry, dear. I'll handle it."

Christian turned back to the other two in the room and smiled at them, a smile that petiuna recognized, because she has given it to the boy in the cupboard so many times.

"You know who I am, right?" Christian moved to the edge of his seat and clasped his hands together, still smiling brightly. "I own one of the top law firms in London; I still have another in Paris, Rome, and America. I can make your life difficult if I want to. Just like that—with a snap of my fingers." He leaned back in his chair and crossed his legs. "Now, where's the boy?"

"Which boy?" Petiuna decided to play the dumb game. It always works; it should work now.

Christian chuckled, but the smile didn't slip from his face.

"You know the boy whom you make do all chores, the one who is half starved, neglected, wears obviously hand-me-down clothes, should I perhaps go on?".

Vernon turned red with rage.

"How dare you?!", he exploded. "You walk into our home and threaten us, then ask for - for that freak."

"Ah!" Christian nodded, uncrossing his legs, and sat up. "The freak".

"What is his real name?"

Petunia turned to look at Diana, her fist clenched on her skirt. "And why should I tell you?".

"Because it's not just my husband who can make trouble for you, Petunia dear".

Petunia gulped. She already knew that, everyone in this neighborhood did.

Vernon turned to Diana, ready to explode again, but Petunia stopped him with a hand on his shoulder.

"Harry Potter, his name is Harry Potter".

Diana scoffed. "There was no reason to be nice all this time sitting here".

Petiuna watched as Diana stood and whipped something out of the jacket she was wearing. She gasped in horror, recognizing what was now pointed at her.

"You're one of -".

Diana rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Yes, petunna dear, I am. Now where is the boy? I'll blast your brains out.".

Vernon moved to say something, but the glare from Christian shut him up. Christian sat back on the couch and let the drama unfold.

"I was so worried about breaking the statue of secrecy, but it turns out my worries were unnecessary." Diana shrugged. "You two already know about us, so for the last time, where is the boy?"

"He's in the cupboard under the stairs." Vernon exploded. "He's there where he belongs. Leave my pet alone."

Diana smiled sweetly. "Have a talk with my husband now, while I go get him".

She tucked the wand back into her pocket, nodded to her husband, and then turned around, leaving the sitting room.

The noise outside the door wakes Harry up from his slumber. The door opens and he rubs his eye squinting and trying to adjust to lighting. he expects to see Aunt Petiuna sneering down at him to go and finish the cooking, but instead he is met by the smiling face of the lady he had seen yesterday.

She came. Just like she had said.

"Do you want to come with me?".

Harry blinked confusedly. "With... you?".

She nodded. "Yes, child. With me. I know that your relatives don't treat you well. I want to take you away from here. You don't deserve to be here."

Harry shook his head frantically. "But my aunt and uncle-".

" won't be able to find you or hurt you again". She cut him off. "Please, let me take you away from here."

Away from here, from my aunt and uncle, from Dudley and his friends, away from the cupboard under the stairs.

"Please?" Diana opened her arms. Harry slowly crawled out from the cupboard and into her arms. Arms that immediately wrapped around him protectively, like he had seen her hug one of her seven boys.

"Come, child". She stood up. "Let's take you to a safe place".
