Okay here are somethings you really should know before you continue reading this.

1. All the characters and events totally belong to JK, but I have my original characters and some of the other characters that aren't my originals might be OOC.

2. This is a modern au which means instead of all the 199 whatever and such, I am using 2000 because even if I watched the Harry Potter movies. I am a 2000 kid people. So Harry was born on July 30th 2003 in this story. Like I said OOC.

Harry slowly opened his eyes, blinking a few times to clear the blurriness. When it didn't work, he touched his face and realized he wasn't wearing his glasses. He also realized that he was being watched, even without his glasses, and he could make out a face.

"You're awake". The male voice said. Harry recognized the voice as the voice of one of the seven boys he always watched from across the street.

"I'll go get my mother". The boy who must have been sitting on the bed, stood up and Harry watched his blurry figure leave the room.

It wasn't long before he heard more than one footstep and he watched more than one blurry figure enter the room.

Harry felt himself being picked up and he immediately tensed up, he couldn't see anything, so he didn't even know who picked him up. Getting caught up with Dudley and his friends in one of their 'games' had taught him never to trust anyone blindly.

Harry squirmed a bit, trying to get away from whoever was holding him. It wasn't too tight, but it wasn't too loose either.

"It's just me, child".

Harry stopped squirming and looked up to where the voice had come from. He frowned.

"My glasses". He said quietly. "I can't see".

"Hold on".

A minute later, something was pressed carefully to his face. The world became clearer, and he looked up at the smiling face of Mrs. Northern.

Harry blinked up at her.

"Better now?"

He nodded slowly, then his eyes drifted to the four snow-white-haired boys huddled behind her, staring at him. He burrowed into Diana's chest, hiding his face there.

She chuckled. "They're just my sons, Harry. It's okay."

Harry nodded slowly and without taking himself away from Diana turned to look at the four boys. He immediately recognized them, the four he had always seen playing outside. He knew the other three boys were the oldest, he hardly saw those three outside.

"Do you want me to introduce them to you?" Diana asked. Harry stared at her for a bit, then nodded.

Diana nodded, then turned so that she was fully facing the four boys.

"That's my fourth". She pointed at one of the boys, he looks older than the other three. "His name is Theon and he's nine".

The boy smiled and waved at Harry. Harry smiled back tentatively.

She pointed to another. He was almost the same height as Theon but a few inches shorter and his snow-white hair reached above his shoulder, longer than anyone else's hair.

"Fifth. Quinn, he's eight". Diana said and ruffled the boy's hair.

The boy scoffed, then pouted, and Diana just chuckled.

"My sixth", she pointed at the boy holding on to Theon's navy blue cove neck sweater. "Royalty, and he's seven". She pointed at the last one, the smallest, holding on to Theon's other sleeve, his thumb in his mouth. "My seventh Theron. He's six".

"The other three aren't home, but you can meet them any time."

"He's the boy from across the street." Theon said.

Diana nodded. "Yes, he is".

"Is he staying with us?" Quinn asked.

Diana tilted her head to the side, then looked down at the raven-haired Harry. "Will you like to stay with us, Harry?"

The raven-haired boy in question blinked up at her in confusion. Diana immediately remembered what the boy had told her the previous day.

He doesn't know his name is Harry. She reminded herself. She really hopes Christian deals with those nasty Duellers. They deserve the worst.

"That's you", she said to him gently. "Your name is Harry, Harry Potter".

There was a collective gasp behind her, and Diana couldn't help but roll her eyes. She turned to her sons and hushed them.

"Theon, Quinn, go run the bath". She said. "Theron, Royal, go see to something for Harry from your things".

The four seemed startled at first, but quickly snapped out of it, and left the room.

Diana sighed in relief. It'll be a good distraction, at least for now, before she talks to them.

"Can I really stay with you?" The quiet question snapped her out of her musings.

She looks down at Harry and nods. "Of course you can".

"And if I don't want to?" He asked even more quietly, playing with the hem of the oversized shirt he was wearing. "Will you send me back to them?"

Diana shook her head. "No, I won't".

She knows a really good opharnage in America for magical children. she would send him there if he decides he dosent want to stay with them.

"Okay", the little boy looked up at her, his eyes sparkling. "I want to stay with you".

She smiled. "Good", she stood up and carried him. "Now it's bathtime".
