"You saw it, she kissed his cheek, she doesn't do public displays of affection." Tony shook his head climbing in the car with Ducky "They were flirting, they are so dating." Ducky chucked letting Tony continue, his phone pinging Tony held it up though he knew Ducky wasn't going to take his eyes off the road. "Abby agrees, she's going to corner Kate when we get back to work."

"Well I am sure you will keep me posted my dear boy."

"Of course Ducky, what kind of friend would I be if I didn't." Tony laughed.

Kate could feel Abby staring at her, she didn't have to look in the rearview mirror to see it or the Goth mouthing the words 'We are so talking.' to know that Abby had seen the kiss on the cheek, Kate was just surprised it took the Goth so long to connect the dots. Kate glanced over at Gibbs, his eyes were sparkling, they always did when he was amused and or he was planning something, "Problems Abs?"

"No." Abby pouted, she wasn't going to bring it up with Tim and Ziva in the car.

After dropping her gift bags off in her new office Kate left to meet Abby in the lab, the Goth had been glaring the entire ride and had made Tim nervous, Kate was waiting to see what the girl was going to say, "Why didn't you tell me?" Abby was going for the pouty route to make Kate feel guilty which actually made Kate chuckle.

"Why didn't I tell you what exactly?" Kate asked going into Abby's little enclosed office, she wasn't having the conversation where anyone passing by could hear.

"Anything!" Abby scowled.

"We were undercover when he told me he was the one sending flowers and that he likes me, we decided to wait until after the case to discuss anything else."

"I asked you about a new guy and you lied."

"I mean he's not a new guy." Kate pointed out.

Abby dropped down in her desk chair pointing at Kate "Not funny."

"Gibbs and I had our first date Friday night." Kate said hoping it would make Abby feel better.

"That's why you wouldn't come out." Abby gasped "Spill, where'd you go, what'd you eat, what were you wearing?"

Chuckling Kate shook her head "I brought Chinese over to his place.." Abby dropped her head into her hands, ignoring the double face palm Kate continued "we were in jeans and we watched westerns."

"Just stop." Abby shook her head sitting back up "Just...wait, you said you spent the weekend in front of the fire with take out and your favorite body pillow."

"Gibbs is very comfortable." Kate lisped with a smile.

"So you slept with Bossman." Abby nodded impressed "Go Kate."

"I didn't sleep with him," Kate shook her head earning a disappointed 'tsk' from Abby "I slept on him, like I said he's a very comfortable pillow. We're not jumping into anything. we're getting to know each other."

"Two years is enough time, just sleep with him Kate." Abby said exasperated, Kate shook her head. "Fine." Abby muttered.

"Thank you." leaning Kate kissed the top of the Goth's head before leaving for her own office.

Once she was back in her office Kate put her presents where she wanted them, her desk now held the pen and pencil set, sharpened letter opener and of course the picture frame from McGee, after putting the coasters over by her coffee pot, except the one under the cup on her desk Kate turned her attention to the picture and frame from Tony. Prepared for anything Kate opened the back up to see what else he had shoved in with his photo.

Tony's familiar scrawl was on a folded piece of paper 'Something for Gibbs', unfolding it Kate rolled her eyes it was a printed photo of her wet t-shirt contest. "Ass." but she saw there were more photos behind the one of Tony. Flipping them over she smiled it was all of the ones from undercover, Tony had either had copies made or pilfered the ones from undercover. Smiling she took them all out of the frame before closing it back up, having replaced Tony's picture with the one of her and Gibbs. Placing it on her desk in front of her plant she stuffed the others in an envelope before carefully tucking it into her purse, she was going to have McGee scan them and put them on the picture frame he'd gotten her.

It felt weird being in her own office, the thing she had to get used to the most was not having Gibbs by her side, she'd gotten so used to sneaking peaks though out the day.
