It had been Tony that had a rapport with the boy, they had the information and knew his name but it was Tony who actually got him to speak while they were waiting for his grandfather. The boy had laughed at Tony when he asked if he was named after the general telling Tony it was a singer Dwight Yoakam, his dad's favorite singer. They bonded over music with Tony introducing the boy to the Rat Pack, Tony wasn't mad at the babysitting detail because he knew it wasn't just the boy liking him but his skills as an agent that had him watching over the boy.

They were playing games on the television in the conference room, McGee had set up the game system before leaving with Gibbs and Ziva. "You've played this before haven't you?" Tony asked.

"A little." Dwight grinned.

"And by that you mean every day?" Tony asked moving with the controller as he tried to drive the car in the game, the little boy giggled.

Jenny couldn't help but smirk at her agent losing to the little boy at whatever game they were playing, his overly dramatic reactions to losing was making the little boy laugh and his mind off of things. He may have been a big kid he was also a hell of an agent, when she'd opened the door she watched his hand shoot to his weapon resting on it until he saw her reflection and then it was back to getting the boy laughing. Plus he was talking more to Tony than Kate, "We have this system at home but we don't have one at the cabin."

"The cabin?" Tony asked glancing at the boy as they raced, Tony leaning into the turns, copying the little boy.

"Hunting cabin, Pa Pa has one, there's no 'lectric, Mom loves it there, she calls it her happy place." he nodded before biting his tongue as he concentrated on the game.

Jenny nodded when Tony looked back at her "My boss would love a cabin like that, he's into hunting and fishing."

"We fish too, it's by a lake, we stay there for weeks, Mom's really good at fishing." he said excitedly then frowned "Dad was, he didn't shoot though that was Mommy and Pa Pa."

Leaving them to give Gibbs the information Jenny ran into Kate "Lunch break." she held up a bag and drink carrier from the near by deli that McGee had found his first week at the office.

"How is your team?" Jenny asked.

"All signed up for classes and going through unsolved cases to see if they can come up with anything that other profilers might have missed. I have a case for Yates on my desk, she wants my take on one of the suspects she has," Kate explained "she thinks he's the one, and going by her notes I'd say she's right."

Jenny nodded. "Oh, I have time tomorrow for whatever you wanted to discuss with me, 8 o'clock."

"Thank you." Kate nodded. Reaching back Jenny opened the door for Kate closing it behind her when she called to Tony and the boy "Lunch time."

Gibbs was letting the grandfather lead the way to the cabin, if he'd been a civilian that wouldn't have been an option but it was faster to have him lead the way plus if she was there it would help to have her father to convince her they were the good guys.

"Maggie!" her father yelled remaining behind the open pick up truck door "It's Dad! I have the Navy cops with me!" they waited watching the door, it was the window first, the curtain moved. It was a short wait but the door slowly opened, seeing his daughter peek out he ran to the cabin, she flung the door open when she saw it was him.

"McGee we need to get her checked out before we take her to the office." Gibbs said walking slowly up to give the father and daughter a moment together, he could see the bruises on the face and how she was holding her arm. Without hesitation McGee pulled out his phone dialing the local hospital while Ziva and Gibbs kept an eye for anything out of the ordinary.

Ziva had stayed with her as the doctor's checked her out, stitches replacing duct tape on her forehead, a cast for a broken wrist, and sling for a dislocated shoulder. She'd fought back and won. "Do you know how my son is?" her father had told her the boy was okay and she wanted to believe him but he'd taught her to double check so that's what she was doing.

"He is doing well, he is with my partner having lunch." Ziva answered as the woman dressed herself, the nurse was going to come in and help with the sling before handing over the release papers. "He has been very brave and helped us to locate you."

"My husband tried so hard, he left that life behind." she shook her head fighting back tears.

"The life wasn't finished with him." Ziva shook her head.

"No, no it wasn't." Maggie agreed with a sigh. "It was the younger brother of the man he helped put away."

"Gibbs is going to ask you to look through books and see if you can describe the men to our sketch artist." Ziva said keeping her eye on the door.

"Right down to their weapons." she promised, her clothes were torn and blood covered so they scrounged up a set of scrubs so she didn't scare her son. "The waiting is always the worse part." Maggie watched the door, Ziva nodded, she'd had to wait plenty when she was on stake outs and it wasn't her favorite part either.

The team stood back as the little boy was caught by his mom as he ran to hug her, Ziva cringed when the boy crashed into his mom's shoulder. The mug books were waiting on the table for her to go through and the artist was on his way to the conference room to see what she could remember. After hugging him for a few more minutes Maggie released him "Dwight can you go..." she spotted the game system "play while I help them for a few minutes." he looked at her skeptically "I'll be right here." she pointed at the table.

"Okay." he hesitated but did as she'd asked.

"Probie, he's good." Tony gestured McGee to the game system, nodding McGee took over giving Tony a chance to catch up on everything they'd found.
