it's now time for Elizabeth's birthday. It's a big deal. She's turning 12 everyone's gonna be there including her half-uncle Henry. They're both the same Asian pretty decent friends so he would be there too. It's gonna be a fun time don't you think?

OK, so this will be a fun time. This is Elizabeth's birthday and we're gonna have a good time.

so let's get started

on the next exciting chapter of starting over a new family.

if this was Cannon, this would be the seventh season of the Reba show so I'm treating it as such.

it was the big day and Elizabeth was excited. It was her 12th birthday and she was so happy and turning 12 she said this was exciting no longer she was still a little girl but no longer completely a child. She'll be a teenager next year. She was so happy next year I'll be 13. She said well that is exciting for me. I'm in middle school and I'm so happy in two years. I'll be in high school. I'll go to the same high school as my sister my sister but my mother did. My mother and father can go to their high school. She said that'll be fun, but they told me that the principal isn't that nice maybe she doesn't know.

I hope not I don't wanna cause her any trouble, but I don't have to worry about that for a while. Elizabeth said, but now I need to concentrate on my birthday. She bounced up and down. She said she said that there were a lot of people coming.

Grandma Reba Papa Brock and Barbara Jean were coming. I was also her uncle but it was weird because he was her grandfather just as much as it was awkward, but it was OK and Barbara Jean. She doesn't remember much about Barbara Jean, but she'll find out somewhat about her grandparents on her dad's side and also coming, they're very rarely around, but that was OK too there's mostly family. She didn't have a lot of friends from her school.

Heather's Uncle and Aunt were also coming to Jake and Keira. She always loves them. They were nice they're hardly ever around much they're always traveling. Didn't know what Jake did she he was a lot younger Akira was in a band she was in a band and she traveled around with them, she was a singer.

she said when I was here the story around her birthday about how she was conceived she was sick of it. Her mom always told her that she was conceived at that cheerleading camp, and then she was born on the day of their graduation. She hated that story and couldn't believe she had created a date inside a cheerleading camp that summer and then waited until she was born on the day and their graduation from high school and Elizabeth was not happy.

it made it bad that her parents were teenagers when they had her at least her new brother and sister will be when her father and father are older that made it easier I guess but the story was worse about her relative her uncle half uncle whatever his born affair, which was even worse, she thought at least you'll have a kid around her age to play with not many of her. She didn't have any friends at school so she had to make up for another way her only other friend at the school was Henry even though they were relatives.

The cake was store-bought, obviously because no one can bake in their family. Reba tries, and Cheyenne can't cook at all barely both hurt. Her mother and father could barely cook themselves.

They had to get their food from a restaurant for their sub for the birthday dinner, but then decided her grandma decided to cook OK grandma will cook. She was happy that grandma was cooking at least for dinner. At least that was nice.

Have you left her grandma and grandpa? They were nice Grandpa Brock and Grandma Reba were very nice to her. She always visited them all the time.

And I lived with them for quite a while, but it was nice that they had their place now that wasn't burnt down. She heard the story about their house burning down and then they had to live with Grandma and Grandpa again Grandma and Grandpa didn't live with him. He lived in his condo, and Keira lived there for a while Until she was 18 then she moved back in with Reba with grandma again until she went to college and did not go to college, and then decided to tour and become a full-time musician And that mess being that way Kira traveled a lot, and she was always on the road touring she always would bring Elizabeth all kinds of gifts. She was bringing her some special ones this time for her birthday. She was happy Aunt was giving her things, but she wasn't like her mother. She wasn't shallow like them for some reason she didn't care that Jean for some reason, she was very humble about what she got she was they always thought maybe she wasn't their daughter because she didn't act that way do you like to show things off but she wasn't like her sister I mean not her sister she had no siblings. She wasn't like her mother, which was good Reba liked that too. Her grandma loved that she wasn't like that. Maybe she'll take after me she teased maybe you'll take after her Grandmother would tease her of course Grandma maybe I will Elizabeth said.

maybe I will her grandma and grandpa and Barbara Jean and Henry all showed up first then Keira and then Jake's mother and father were already there and Grandma Reba was already there. It was a party just for the family, which was fine. Said she had very very little family and friends and was always alone mostly it's because everyone teased her about her being the way she was born about being born out of an accidental birth, but a child but a teenage pregnancy. She was always teased about it. It made Elizabeth feel sad about herself. course Henry always told her to make you feel better. I was born out of an affair and Elizabeth would laugh at her half-uncle. Something was always kind to her and always made her laugh. I guess so she said you always make me feel better she said it's better to have someone close to me like that, even though you were a troublemaker when you were a kid he lasted that too yeah I know but I've gotten better now that I'm older and almost a teenager little kid at the time would like Jean and Elizabeth because Barbara Jean was always crazy. Grandma always said so.

being a little serious, Henry said I hope they don't happen to you and your family. I know your sister. I know that your mama wants to become a dentist like father, but one of some that won't happen most hygienists or women very few of them are men she said, I don't think that is her her assistance will be males. No Henry said no you're probably right. At least we walk into school together. We go through middle school and high school together that is true. We lean on each other and each other friends and we are only friends with each other yes we will be friends. Henry said Elizabeth, just the two of us unless others decide to be friends with us.

Who would want to be friends with OutKast like us Elizabeth said who would want to be OutKast friends without cast like us that is true even though your mama and daddy were very popular. Yes, mama was a cheerleader and Father well was on the football team as a cornerback but now with our reputations, I don't know much. It might be a little better. I mean, Daddy is a respectable real estate agent and Mama is going to be a real rest a real respectable dentist maybe and they cleaned up their ass since high school and they're not shallow anymore which is nice but still, it was hard for them to try and figure out how to get their lives together Henry knotted an agreement. Yeah, I guess so.

and now mom's gonna have another baby and I'm gonna have a new little sibling soon and you'll have a new niece or nephew soon. Henry nodded and said yes that'll be exciting, wouldn't it?

What would be Jake came into the room with the younger ones because he was closer to their age, but not quite he was closer to being an adult but still he liked hanging out with Elizabeth and Henry more than he lied hanging out with the adults happy birthday kiddo he said picking up Elizabeth Elizabeth giggled. Oh, you're so funny Jake he laughs. I know that.

and you know I like hanging out with you more than I do like hanging out with the adults Keira is annoying and well no offense I'm still alive. I still care about Cheyenne so that's good at least she doesn't think I'm completely annoying like Keira that is true though Jake was annoying.

it was almost party time the cake was put somewhere else so that no one would get the cake. It was put in the fridge and the food was brought out. It was food time they ate and then Elizabeth opened presents, even though she wasn't this was her favorite part of the entire thing besides eating cake, she opened her presents then she had cake and ice cream. She blew out her candles. Happy birthday, Elizabeth. everyone said Elizabeth clapped her hands and smiled thank you. She said.

she said thank you. I think I had a great time and it was good to see everyone. Elizabeth said. This is the happiest day of my life she said and I love all my family. She says even the ones who are messed up and I'm happy that we're messed up but it's OK we're not perfect. Elizabeth said, but I love every one of you she smiled and waved at them. You're my family, so thank you for being there for me Elizabeth said They asked her how does she feel about being 12? She said it's not different than being 11 she said she got a lot of presents and clothes mostly but that was OK. She loved clothes like her mom's clothes and shoes just like her mother did but she was less vain about it.

when the party ended, everyone left, and her mother helped her carry her things to her room will meet again sometime. We'll have another great time. Everyone left their hands and left.

she hugged all her grandparents and her aunt and her uncles. I'll see you again sometime. She said to them maybe I'll invite you to come to. One of my shows said Keira would be nice. Keira Elizabeth said I'll get you a ticket sometime. I'll enjoy the CD you gave me she said, OK then she said please do.

and like that, all the guests were gone, the last person to hug her was her grandma, and kissed Elizabeth on the head and left.

" Enjoy the summer now in spring said Cheyenne let's have a good time mama Elizabeth said, hugging Cheyenne and her father Van.

and like that, the day was over, but it wasn't in vain and it wasn't a bad day either she thought it was the best birthday. She had her favorite people around her family, and that was all that was important to Elizabeth. Her whole family, her mama her father Reba, her grandma Reba, grandpa Brock, her other grandma, Barbara Jean, but then also a weirdness of being her uncle but I don't know what you would call him Henry. It was a civilized time I guess Barbara Jean has gotten more civil, she overheard Cheyenne say to Van yeah I guess so. Maybe she just had to behave. I hope it's the former she said because I don't know if we could tape Jean being crazy again yeah you're right. It was time for bed and she did she had a good night and went to bed.

come under the covers and went to sleep, and that was the end of it she told the world good night and went to sleep she had a wonderful birthday she thought as she drifted off to sleep.
