I know it's a short chapter the next one is longer

"Thanks for helping Rachel." They were taking the posters off his walls and boxing up the smaller items so they could be moved easier when everyone came over Tuesday.

"Of course." she beamed.

"I bought posters like the ones the Beans have in Santana's room to hang by the crib" they wouldn't be in frames like they were at Santana's, he would just tape them in place, "give them the same feel, Santana bought them the another mobile." Finn explained grabbing the higher of the posters.

"That's nice, is your mom going to paint in here?"

"She said no, something about trouble painting over wall paper." Finn shrugged he didn't understand all that she'd said.

"Maybe removing the wallpaper before would work?" Rachel questioned.

"That would take all weekend." Carole said from the door "Dinner's ready." she'd made a chef salad where you add your own ingredients because she had no idea what exactly Rachel ate.

"Thanks Mom."

"Thank you Mrs. Hudson." Rachel smiled putting the tacks in her hand with the others in the cup Carole had given them.

While the kids were dealing taking down everything from the walls in Finn's room she was doing the same in her own. along with boxing some things that she was going to store in the garage. They could do it on their own but she was happy to hear that the rest of Glee was going to help out like they had with Santana. She was looking for a coupon to repay them with pizza.

They had the crib out in the garage ready to be set up, Carole had been saving for a used changing table and planned to get that on Saturday from the second hand store so everything was ready for Tuesday.

"So what are the plans for this weekend?" Carole asked handing Finn a large bowl for himself and a normal sized bowl for Rachel as they stepped into the kitchen behind her, she had all of the fixings for the chef salad on the counters.

"Me and Puck are going to work on the chairs for a couple hours after work both days," he left out that Quinn and Santana were going to bring the babies over to Burt's so they could see them "then he's bowling and Rach and me are going to the movies Saturday." Using the salad tongs Finn grabbed a large amount of the plain salad before moving onto the non vegan sides which were on the other side of the kitchen, his mom put the sliced radishes and onions and things like that by the salad, the meats, cheeses and boiled eggs were on the counter he moved to.

"This is lovely, have you ever had roasted butternut squash kale salad?" Rachel asked dishing herself the salad and vegetables.

"I don't believe so, I just get whatever salad they offer as an appetizer." Carole said honestly.

"Next time I come over for dinner I will bring one." Rachel offered.

"That would be nice thank you." Carole smiled at her as they both headed to the table, Finn was still filling his bowl.

"My dads have all sorts of vegan recipes for me, maybe when I come over for dinner I could bring something for you to try?" Rachel asked sitting with Carole at the table.

"That would be lovely, then it would give me ideas for things I can make you." she wasn't going to cater to Rachel but she wanted the girl to feel included in meal times.

"Thank you." Rachel gave a blushing nod. "My dads did a lot of the remodeling on our house, I think they have a machine to remove wallpaper or to make taking it off faster, I can ask them."

"I don't..."

"They won't mind." Rachel promised. "I can ask them when I get home and we can send it back with Finn."

Finn looked up from his bowl swallowing he asked "What?"

"Rachel's going to ask her dads if I can borrow their steamer to remove wallpaper, if they say yes it will come home with you."

"Oh, okay."

Rachel spent the entire ride to her house texting her dads about the steamer for wallpaper removal while Finn occasionally glanced over when her phone pinged and buzzed. They were ready for them when he pulled up to the curb. Kissing Finn's cheek Rachel stepped out of the truck and next to her dads, "We'll just put this in the back." it was in it's original box, while LeRoy put it in the back Hiram handed Finn a folded paper "This is our phone numbers, if she needs help we're more than happy to come over and lend and hand."+

Taking the paper Finn nodded promising "I'll tell her."
