Once Shinichi sent Michiru and her team through the portal, he closed it and let out a sigh. As the leader, it was his job to coordinate the mission and he was responsible for everyone who was putting their lives on the line so they could succeed.
"Shinji," Shiori said as she entered the war room.
"Kaa-chan," Shinichi responded. "What are you doing here?"
"I came to call you for dinner," Shiori answered.
"You could've asked Sheila to pass on the message. You didn't have to come all the way up here."
"It's OK. I wanted to see you." Shiori noticed the troubled look on her son's face. "You're worried about the mission, aren't you?"
"I know Kyofu's type. He's going to launch another attack," Shinichi resolved. "I won't let anyone die again."
"It's not fair," Shiori sympathised. "Your wedding is in less than a week so you should be enjoying yourself."
"I know." Shinichi was tired of these people targeting him and his loved ones all because of his past association with GIN-SHOCKER and Gebok. He just wanted it all to stop. "But it's my responsibility to protect the village, Kaa-chan."
"Not just yours," Hanyuu added as she came in, having overheard them. "It's my responsibility too."
"Just be careful, Hanyuu-chan," Shiori advised her adoptive daughter. Though Hanyuu was much, much older than she appeared to be and was not her daughter by blood, she still considered the demigoddess one of her children.
"I will, Shiori-mama and you won't need to worry about me," Hanyuu smiled reassuringly. She appreciated Shiori's love and care even though she was an adult. "I have someone watching my back."
"How's Sho doing by the way?" Shinichi asked his mother.
"He's doing much better thanks to you," Shiori answered.
"Hey, little brother," Shinichi said as he gently opened his bedroom door. "Kaa-chan told me you couldn't sleep. What's wrong?"
"...Nothing," Sho whispered and Shinichi knew his little brother was lying.
"Sho, I know that today was scary so it's OK to tell me you were scared," Shinichi said gently as he knelt at his little brother's bedside to stroke his hair. "Are you scared right now?"
"...I can't go to sleep...nightmares..."
"I see. But you don't need to be afraid now so just close your eyes and go to sleep," Shinichi advised.
"Will you stay with me?"
"I won't leave until you fall asleep."
Sho nodded and laid his head on his pillow before closing his eyes.
"Goodnight, Nii-chan."
"Goodnight, Sho. Have sweet dreams," Shinichi whispered as he gently tapped Sho's forehead and an energy construct of a clock appeared over it, the hands moving backwards.
"That's good," Shinichi smiled and he saw Ryuji come in with Kotonoha and Lucy.
"Time to go, Shinichi," Ryuji called.
"Right," Shinichi nodded.
"What about dinner?" Shiori asked.
"Sorry, Kaa-chan but I gotta go."
"Be careful then, Shinji."
"Stay safe and call me if you need me," Shinichi replied before he left with his team.
Showa Chronicles: Road to Annihilation
Act X: Mouse Trap
Atop a building in Tokyo, Amora rubbed her hands together as she prepared herself to cast her spell.
"Oh, this shall be fun," she grinned as Jade hovered behind her.
"Remember, you're just here to create a distraction, not to cause chaos," Jade reminded.
"Do you not trust me, Jade?" Amora questioned.
"I do trust you, Amora," Jade affirmed. "But I also know you can get a little carried away. We don't want any innocent people getting hurt."
"Oh, the only ones that shall be hurt are our enemies," Amora promised as she began casting, a green aura surrounding her as her eyes glowed the same hue while her hair floated around her head. "Now, let the show begin."
Meanwhile, Professor Kyofu was throwing a hissy fit as he walked down the corridor.
"DAMN BLACK 13 and DAMN that village!" Kyofu cursed as he returned to his office with B following after him. "B, I want you to send our forces to that village and make sure it is WIPED OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH THIS TIME!"
"Sir, are you sure that is wise?" B asked.
"Are you QUESTIONING me, B?" Kyofu threatened.
"No, sir. But what about BLACK 13? Weapon D failed to kill him before and you know that he won't let anything happen to that village again."
"Oh, don't worry. She now UNDERSTANDS the price of failure. She'll make sure to DESTROY him THOROUGHLY next time." B was about to make a rebuttal when the alarms suddenly went off. "WHAT THE HELL!?"
"It seems we have an intruder, sir," B answered.
"Then TAKE CARE OF IT!" Kyofu ordered.
"Already done. I've already sent Psycho Soldiers to apprehend them." B then received a telepathic message from one of their contacts in Tokyo. "Sir, I've just received word that strange creatures have appeared in the Tokyo metropolitan area and are causing a ruckus."
"A RUCKUS, you say?" Kyofu questioned. "Are the NUMBERS there?"
"They have not yet made an appearance, Professor."
"I see. Too SCARED to even leave their village."
"Professor, I propose you send members of Alpha Force to neutralise these creatures. If the public witnesses our people defeating these creatures, that would bring us more good publicity and the public can forget about your erroneous statement about Hinamizawa's destruction," B suggested.
"You're RIGHT. Send P, U and V to deal with these creatures. Tell them they have my PERMISSION to use the jet."
"At once, sir," B complied as he sent the order.
A Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird with BTS emblazoned on the wings came and landed upon the black Tokyo street. Once the engines shut off, the door on the side slid open to allow Weapons P, U and V to exit as they jumped out one-by-one.
"According to B, there are monsters currently causing trouble in the city. We need to take them down and make sure we are seen doing our 'job'," Vega commanded as he took charge.
"Then let's go hunting!" Clementine grinned as she skipped ahead of her two comrades before she began to hum 'Oh my Darling, Clementine'.
"Must you hum?" Vega demanded, annoyed.
"Oh, does it bother you, Veggie?" Clementine teased.
"Do not call me 'Veggie'," he warned her, growling.
"Wow, what crawled up your butt, Veggie?" Clementine chortled.
"I told you not to call me-"
"Anon, anon, mine own cater-cousins," Carerra said as he got between them to prevent a fight from breaking out. They could not be seen fighting with each other. What would everyone say? "Saveth yond en'rgy f'r these creatures."
"Yeah, just chill, Veggie," Clementine agreed as she drew her stiletto and licked the blade. She could not wait to sink her blade into these creatures.
"Woman, if you call me that damn nickname again, I swear I am going to wring your neck," Vega threatened her.
"Ara, ara." Clementine just giggled. "Don't threaten me with a good time, Veggie." It took all his self-control for Vega not to lunge at her right there.
"Why are you still standing around and doing nothing?" Weapon B demanded as he spoke to them telepathically. "You have your orders. Now, go confront and destroy those creatures."
"Right-o, B-Boy!" Clementine mock-saluted. "Tally-ho!" Lightning shot out of her feet as she soared into the sky. "And a hunting we will goooooooooo~!"
"That woman is so infuriating," Vega complained as he hovered off the ground.
"I usually just tune h'r out," Carrera advised as he pushed himself off the ground with his magnetic powers. "Maketh mine own days easi'r."
Vega did not respond as he went in the opposite direction as Carerra.
Clementine landed in Akihabara and found what was causing all the ruckus. Rampaging through this part of the city was a creature that was made out of living electricity. It stood in front of an electrical appliance store and blasted the display window to pieces before absorbing all the power inside. Every time it spoke, its voice crackled, but all it said was one word:
"Feed."
"Hello, there," Clementine greeted pleasantly as she approached the creature made of living electricity. "I guess I could call you 'Electric Man', huh?"
"Feeeeeddd!" The Electric Man roared and fired a blast of electricity at Clementine. It could no doubt sense she was electrokinetic and wanted to absorb her power for itself.
"Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh~!" She let out a scream but it was not one of agony but of pleasure instead. The Electric Man ceased its attack as Clementine moaned euphorically. "That tingles." Her grin quickly turned vicious and bloodthirsty. "Now, it's my turn, baby!"
Around the same time, in the Shinjuku district, Vega found his target. The creature was made out of some kind of amorphous slime-like substance, scaring the locals. Even the usual delinquents that frequented the area did not have the nerve to confront it as it roared ferociously, sending them scrambling.
Vega did not waste time and hurled himself at the slime monster like a missile, causing it to explode on impact, splattering it all over the street and nearby buildings. Witnesses cheered as he easily dispatched the creature.
"Hmph, what a waste of time," Vega huffed, ignoring the cheering crowd as he tried to wipe off some of the slime from his uniform but then he watched as the numerous puddles began to converge. "The hell?"
Vega witnessed as the creature reformed itself in a matter of seconds and roared, revealing a mouth full of sharp teeth as it gained a set of three glowing green eyes. Vega could smell its breath from where he stood and found it revolting.
"Alright, looks like I'll have to destroy you until there's nothing left," Vega decided as his eyes glowed with his psychic power. "You're going to wish you stayed in pieces, you freak!"
Finally, in Shibuya, a ten-foot-tall golem was on a violent rampage as it destroyed anything it could get its hands on. People fled in terror as it sent them running with a ferocious roar and crushed a car between its huge hands before tossing it away. As it was about to grab another car, it floated out of its reach along with a few others. Curious, it looked up at the floating vehicles before they were dropped right on top of it in a pile, crushing it.
"Nev'r feareth, citizens! The beast hast been slain!" Carerra boasted as he floated in the air and everyone cheered. He loved the praise, eating up all the attention from these fools who believed him to be a hero.
While Carrera enjoyed their praise, the car pile shook violently before the golem burst out and roared, sending cars flying and people scrambling for safety. Picking up a random car, the golem hurled it at Carrera who caught the vehicle with his magnetic powers.
"So, thee still liveth? Has't at thee, then, monst'r!"
As the three Alpha Force members confronted the creatures that the Enchantress had conjured, Jade, Amora, Conda, Bishie and Nozomu were watching them. None of their enemies suspected that it might be a setup, far too focused on making themselves look good and heroic for their adoring public. Judging by the cheers they were receiving from the bystanders, they were doing a pretty good job at it.
"I hate villains with good publicity," Jade grimaced. "Makes real heroes look bad."
"Quite right," Conda agreed. "They are a mockery of what heroes stand for."
"Are you sure nobody will get hurt?" Bishie asked.
"Don't you worry, Bishie. No actual bystanders will be harmed," Amora assured her. "Now, keep watching and get ready for the climax."
The Electric Man howled as it swung its whips of electricity at Clementine but the madwoman was quite nimble as she danced away from the strikes before they could touch her. It looked like she was just playing around with the creature despite how dangerous it might be.
Drawing her stiletto blades, she went into a crouch as lightning crackled around her and sparked from her eyes. With a sudden burst of speed, she went on the attack. The creature was made of electricity, lacking a real physical form, but that just meant Clementine's powers made her the perfect counter to its powers.
She slashed and used her powers to absorb its electricity, weakening it slightly. Roaring, it tried to electrocute Clementine and her eyes lit up as she absorbed the power like a lightning rod, her veins glowing bright blue as a crazed grin spread across her face. Once she saw it growing weaker, Clementine pierced the creature's body with her stilettos and absorbed the rest of its energy. As more and more of its energy was being absorbed, it began to shrink, becoming smaller and smaller with each passing second.
"Yeah! That's right, baby! Give it to me! Let me suck you off!" Clementine cackled maniacally. She was going to absorb all of its energy until there was nothing left.
The Electric Man's howl turned into a whimper before it exploded in a blinding flash of light, causing the onlookers to shield their eyes. When the flash faded, many people were left with spots in their eyes. Once they could see clearly again, they found Clementine and the Electric Man had vanished, leaving only a scorched spot on the ground.
*BOOM!*
*BOOM!*
*BOOM!*
"DIE! DIE! DIE!" Vega shouted as he repeatedly exploded the slime monster. He hated his opponent. Not only did it look like a pile of shit, but it also smelled like a pile of shit, and its amorphous body meant that it would not stay down for long. No matter how many times he exploded it, it kept reforming.
It lashed out with its arm that stretched like rubber as its fingers extended into tentacles. Vega had to blow the limb up before it could touch him, but some of the disgusting slime got in his mouth. He spat and nearly vomited but he held it in. He would not show weakness in front of this disgusting creature. He resolved to destroy it completely and make sure it could never regenerate again.
"DIIIIIEEEEE!" Vega exploded the creature one last time, leaving a puddle. He huffed and walked over to the puddle to inspect it. He waited for it to try and reform again, watching the puddle bubble before it went inert. It did not look like the creature was going to reform. Good. He was tired of it.
He turned his back to the puddle, which turned out to be a mistake as multiple tendrils suddenly shot out of it and grabbed him. He screamed as he was dragged into the puddle, struggling to free himself but the tendrils were too strong. He tried to blow up the tendrils but more and more of them emerged to restrain him as they dragged him down until he went completely under.
Once he disappeared, the puddle shrunk and vanished.
Unlike Vega, Carrera was having a far more pleasant time. The golem was strong but it was all brawn and no brains. As it could not speak, he deduced that it was just a mindless beast. He did not know where the golem came from, nor did he care. All he cared about was making a spectacle as he defeated it.
"Thee vile beast, I shall sendeth thee to the earth yond birth'd thee!" Carrera declared dramatically. Using his magnetic powers, he hovered in the air and then pulled a lamppost out of the ground. "Taketh this!"
He threw the lamppost like a harpoon and it broke through the creature's body, putting a hole that went from front to back. However, this did little to slow it down. Roaring, the golem went and grabbed the nearest thing it could get its hands on and picked up a car. It hurled it at Carrera but he was not at all concerned as he used his power to stop it in midair.
"Thee knoweth it's malapert to throweth things, right?" Carrera taunted. "But if 't be true thee wisheth to playeth so much, then I'll playeth as well." He used his powers to lift every single car in the parking lot and hurled them at the golem like missiles. They crashed into the golem at high speeds, knocking it back and breaking off chunks of its body. Carrera then raised all the cars again and threw them down, causing them to pile on top of the golem like before. Not wanting it to escape again, he crushed the cars together, compacting them into a ball of scrap metal. A lot of people would be pretty mad about losing their cars, but Carrera could easily convince them that it was the golem's fault.
As Carrera was about to leave and let the police deal with the rest, he heard a crunching sound. He turned and saw the scrap ball tremble and shake violently before the golem burst out of it, roaring angrily.
Carrera narrowed his eyes, annoyed that a mindless beast was giving him trouble. He gathered the broken pieces of metal around him as he shot straight at the golem. The metal encased him, transforming him into a huge speeding missile. Roaring through the air, he smashed right through the golem, shattering it into a million pieces. He landed, disengaging the metal pieces on his body to let them clutter to the ground. He stood atop the remains of the defeated golem proudly, basking in the adoration of his fans.
"T wast nothing, very much. All in a day's w'rk f'r a palmy champion liketh myself. If 't be true thee wisheth to taketh a picture of me, now's the timeth," he boasted and failed to notice the littered pieces of his opponent glowing with eldritch runes. "What the deuce?" The runes all flashed and Carrera vanished into thin air.
"And done," Amora smiled as she dusted off her hands.
"Did you just kill them?" Bishie asked.
"No," Amora shook her head. "They're just trapped in different pocket dimensions."
"So, what was the point of making those creatures if you were planning on trapping them anyway? Why didn't you start with that?" Jade questioned.
"My dear Jade, while I was told to make a distraction, I thought it would be dull so I decided to trap them instead. For my trap to work, they could not see it coming," Amora explained.
"So, do we just keep them trapped, or what?"
"Oh, no. Now is the time for some payback," Amora grinned as she opened portals that showed the psychics wandering around their individual pocket dimensions. "Now, please select your opponents, ladies."
"You already know my choice," Conda said.
"Here is some protection," Amora offered as she put her hand on Conda's shoulder and cast a spell. "Now, you won't be hurt by her electricity. However, this spell will break if you take too much damage so be careful."
"Don't you worry about me, Amora," Conda cracked her knuckles before she jumped into the first portal.
"Alright, who wants to take on the head exploder?" Amora asked. "Who's willing to risk their heads to fight him?"
"I'll go," Jade volunteered.
"Try not to turn into a green smear on the ground, dear," Amora said encouragingly.
"I don't plan on being stuffed into a fridge again," Jade retorted, rolling her eyes before she flew into the portal to face Vega.
"And that just leaves the pretentious walking magnet," Amora pointed at the realm Carrera was trapped in.
"He can control metal and I'm a walking plant," Bishie said as she stepped through. "I'm sure to have an advantage."
"If you could smother him to death with your breasts, that would make my day," Amora joked.
"Please," Bishie huffed, lifting her breasts to make them bounce. "Only Alan has that pleasure."
"Then make him proud, my dear Venuswhore," Amora said and the Pokewoman dove into the portal.
"That's all of them," Nozomu said as she watched them go through the portals. "Wish I could fight someone. I'd like a bit of revenge too."
"There's still plenty of those psychics left," Amora reassured, patting the wolf youkai on the head. "At the moment, let us just enjoy the show."
"Hm. If you say so," Nozomu shrugged. Amora smiled and snapped her fingers to conjure a pair of chairs behind them with a bowl of popcorn for each of them. The two then sat down to watch the portals like television.
"OK...this is weird," Clementine said as she tilted her head. She found herself standing in the middle of a cemetery under the light of a full moon. The tombstones planted on each grave were pretty standard. There were slabs inscribed with the names and the dates of their birth and deaths. Others had small messages that were dedicated to the deceased. Some had statues instead of tombstones planted atop their graves. One grave had an angel overlooking it. The angel had its hands covering its face as if it were weeping. It was creepy but she did not fear cemeteries. In fact, they were her favourite places as she could visit her past victims' final resting place.
Clementine paid the angel statue no mind and moved on but then sensed that she was being followed. She turned around and saw the angel statue standing several feet away from her. Had the statue moved? That was impossible. Statues could not move. She blinked and the statue had somehow inched closer towards her.
"OK, whoever's messing with me, come out now!" Clementine demanded threateningly as she looked around. She turned to face the statue again but it was suddenly right in her face and no longer covering its face. It had its arms stretched out, with hands reaching out like claws to grab her. What shocked her the most was that the statue had her face. It would have been a perfect likeness if not for the open mouth full of razor-sharp teeth.
"Fuck!" Clementine cursed as she shattered the angel statue with a lightning-infused punch. She hated art, especially anything made in her likeness.
As the statue lay in shattered pieces, she felt the ground move beneath her feet. She stepped back, drawing her stilettos. She watched as an arm burst out of the ground, followed by another before a zombie dragged itself out of its own grave. It looked quite decayed with rotting flesh. It was not the only one as every grave in the cemetery had a zombie crawling out of them. One of them was dressed in a red leather jacket with matching pants, and had a strange resemblance to a pop singer whose initials were "MJ". And not just zombies, but skeletons came out of the graves as well, dressed in their funeral garbs. There was a pair of skeletons dressed as a bride and groom while a zombie priest started to perform an impromptu wedding ceremony. It was weirdly romantic too, in a macabre kind of way.
"What the fuck?" Clementine exclaimed. "Am I on MTV?!"
Clementine showed no fear and was ready to take on the undead as they converged on her. However, instead of attacking, they dropped to their knees, looked up at the sky, raised their arms and howled.
"OK, what the fuck are you-?" Clementine's question was cut off by a monstrous roar. Looking up, she saw a creature descend from the sky. It was huge and quadrupedal, with decomposing scaly flesh that exposed bone and organs. Its leathery bat-like wings had holes in them but this did not hamper its ability to fly. The flesh on its head was completely gone, revealing its skull. There were no eyeballs in its sockets but there was an eerie green light in each of them.
The undead dragon landed on its feet and now Clementine could see someone riding on its back. It was that Amazon she had killed before but this time she was dressed in red chainmail bikini armour with pauldrons, vambraces, and greaves. A chainmail loincloth hung from a belt around her waist, covering her armoured bikini bottoms. Finally, she wore a gold tiara that looked like two snakes kissing.
"Hey, princess," Clementine greeted with a psychotic grin. "Back from the dead, huh? Guess I'll have to send you back."
"You've bested me once before," Conda sneered from her perch on the undead dragon's back. "I refuse to let you win a second time. And I'm not a princess." Conda vanished from the top of the dragon and Clementine tensed up, her instincts prepping her for the inevitable attack. However, this would not do her any good as Conda reappeared behind her and delivered a devastating roundhouse kick to her head, sending the blonde maniac flying until she smashed into a tombstone.
'I am a Queen!" Conda declared proudly, cracking Kulshedra as she prepared for combat. Clementine recovered as she got on her feet, brandishing her twin stiletto blades.
"Then let's see you bleed, Queenie!" Clementine giggled as she licked her stiletto. Electricity crackled around her body and she dashed straight at Conda. The Amazon Queen stretched her whip and cracked it multiple times. With each crack, she sent a powerful energy wave flying straight at Clementine. She was caught off guard but managed to dodge a few of the energy waves before one struck her in the stomach. This knocked her off balance and she went violently tumbling along the ground.
Clementine groaned and got back on her feet when Conda wrapped Kulshedra around her neck. Clementine gripped the whip to prevent it from constricting her windpipe as Conda dragged her to her.
"Any last words?" Conda asked.
"...Harder...Mistress..." Clementine gasped.
"Wait, what?"
"Henshin!" Clementine took advantage of the pause to transform and kick Conda in her exposed stomach and launch her backwards with a lightning blast. Conda crashed straight through a group of skeletons, scattering bones everywhere. The zombies began to boo at Agito Thundra, though it sounded like they were moaning.
Being an Amazon, Conda was able to tank the blow and thanks to Amora's protection spell, Agito Thundra's lightning had not left any nasty burns on her exposed skin. Rising to her feet, she stretched her whip and cracked it on the ground before she rushed at Agito Thundra. Grinning at the sight of her opponent coming at her, she crouched down and dashed straight at Conda.
Conda lashed out with Kulshedra but Agito Thundra dodged it before she leapt into the air. She twisted her body to kick Conda in the face but the Amazon caught her foot before slamming her to the ground. She then lashed Agito Thundra repeatedly with her whip. The psycho cried out with each strike but they were cries of pleasure instead of pain. Disgusted, Conda ceased her assault to pick Agito Thundra up by her neck and send her flying with a punch to the face. The Agito smashed through a tombstone but she barely felt it.
"Wow, you really do like it rough, huh?" Agito Thundra grinned as she stood up.
"Are you always this disgusting?" Conda spat.
"Oh, you don't like it?" Agito Thundra pouted. "Just look at yourself though, you're the one with the whip. This kinky foreplay seems like your kinda thing. And then there's that outfit."
"Not my idea," Conda muttered. This was just Amora's way of amusing herself at Conda's expense. Bikini armour was just so impractical. It left all the vital areas exposed and really didn't protect anything but the chest and groin. The only thing it did successfully was sexualise the female form in a parody of warrior armour. Then again, the same could be said about male barbarians. She was familiar with Conan the Barbarian and He-Man after all.
"Well, it's been fun but I think it's time I killed you again!" Agito Thundra crouched down, body crackling with lightning. "Say sayonara, Queenie!" She dashed straight at Conda with the speed of lightning and was about to skewer her with her stilettos but, at the last second, Conda leaned backwards and lay flat on the ground so her enemy would soar over her. She grabbed hold of Agito Thundra's ankle and then threw her against a tombstone. The tombstone shattered on impact and Agito Thundra grunted in pain.
Swinging her whip, she wrapped it tightly around Agito Thundra's ankle and then swung her around. The electrokinetic screamed as she was bashed against tombstones, smashing them to pieces. Withdrawing Kulshedra, Conda wrapped it around an angel statue and pulled it off its foundation before bringing it down on Agito Thundra. Her eyes widened in panic and she screamed as the angel statue fell right on top of her.
Clementine's transformation was cancelled as she was pinned underneath the statue and Conda walked over to pick up one of her stilettos.
"Give that back," Clementine demanded, growling through her gritted teeth.
"Sorry, but finders keepers," Conda taunted. Clementine growled louder, her eyes crackling with electricity before she vanished from under the statue in a burst of lightning. There was another flash above Conda and she looked up to see Clementine falling towards her.
"DIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!" Clementine screamed as she swung at Conda only for her strike to be blocked. Sparks flew as they furiously exchanged blows, the sound of steel clashing violently ringing across the graveyard. They locked blades and Conda punched her in the face. Clementine retaliated with a headbutt that sent Conda staggering back before she called down a lightning bolt to zap the Amazon only for it to do nothing, much to her shock
"How the hell did you survive that!?" Clementine demanded.
"Magic," Conda answered casually. The armour that Amora had put her in must have been augmented with magic too. It was likely how she was able to match Clementine's speed and power while she was in Agito form before.
"Fine, don't tell me!" Clementine went to strike Conda and this time the Amazon allowed her to hit her breastplate. The stiletto blade snapped on impact and Clementine gasped. Conda quickly drew Kulshedra and tied Clementine up with it, binding her arms to her sides before putting her arms around the psychotic psychic, and squeezing her in a bear hug.
"Let me go! Let me go, damn you!" Clementine screamed and struggled as Conda increased the pressure. The psychic's body burst with electricity as she tried to electrocute Conda but it had no effect as Conda squeezed tighter. Desperate, Clementine tried to headbutt Conda but all she did was break her nose and knock her own teeth out.
"Are you done?" Conda asked coldly and Clementine stared at her in fear. "Now, it's your turn."
*SNAP!*
The curtains were drawn back as Carrera found himself standing on a stage. All the seats were full, with each member of the audience, men, women, and children, wearing theatre masks. They were as still as statues and he wondered if they were actual people or just mannequins dressed up to fill the seats.
"Good now, how didst I receiveth h're?" Carrera wondered and he looked at himself to find himself dressed as a swashbuckler. "Nice threads, though."
Suddenly, loud music played from the invisible orchestra and a pair of life-sized marionettes descended from the ceiling. They resembled Cybermen that were made out of wood and their movements were jerky and unnatural. Carrera cocked an eyebrow as he drew the rapier from his side. The wooden Cybermen approached him and raised their arms, firing blasts of flames from their wrist-mounted flamethrowers.
Carrera formed a magnetic sphere around himself to block the flames and they washed over him harmlessly as he advanced on the wooden Cybermen. He slashed at them and the two wooden Cybermen collapsed in heaps. The audience applauded and Carrera bowed, taking off his hat to wave at them.
"Thanketh thee! Thanketh thee! You're too kind!"
A trapdoor opened under Carrera's feet and he jumped away before he fell in. He watched as a huge venus flytrap rose from the trapdoor and it opened up. Just like in the painting entitled 'The Birth of Venus', the venus flytrap opened up like a clam to reveal Bishie. Instead of standing in the nude like Venus, she was dressed as a valkyrie, wearing armour and a winged helm while holding a spear.
Carrera's eyes wandered to her huge F-cup size breasts. They should have given her problems balancing herself, but the large flower on her back provided her with balance. The unnaturally large breast size and flower on her back were not her only inhuman features, however, as she also had green skin.
Bishie twirled the spear around and lunged at Carerra with her spear but he parried her weapon with his sword. They exchanged blows, sparks flying as their weapons clashed. Carrera could tell that his opponent was not familiar with the weapon so he easily disarmed her and sent her spear flying into the audience.
"You dareth dare me at which hour thee can't coequal wield thy weapon prop'rly? Hah!" Carrera mocked.
"OK, I can't fight like this," Bishie decided as she ripped apart her costume, revealing her attire underneath. She wore a black sports bra with Alan's Green Lantern symbol in the middle and matching bloomers. Her hands were covered in MMA gloves and she was barefoot. She was equipped with kneepads and elbow pads to protect her joints. "Much better."
"And who is't art thee did suppose to beest, green maiden?" Carrera demanded.
"I'm the girl who's gonna kick your ass!" Bishie shouted before she ran back to the venus flytrap and used it as a springboard to propel herself at Carrerra. He jumped back, avoiding her punch as she smashed a hole through the stage's floor. The orchestra suddenly began to play intense and dramatic music to complement the fierce fight scene.
Bishie launched her Razor Leaves at Carrera but the psychic quickly formed an electromagnetic barrier around himself to deflect the leaves. Not letting up, Bishie struck the floor and a gigantic vine burst out. At the tip of the large vine was a giant venus flytrap head and it snapped its jaws.
Carrera opened his pouch and lifted the metal ball bearings he carried inside. With his power, he fired them at the venus flytrap and they pierced it like bullets. The venus flytrap recoiled from the attack and Carrera kept firing his BB's, shredding the plant. Calling the BB's back to him, he launched them at Bishie who summoned a vine wall to shield herself. The BB's pierce the vine wall and Carrera thought he had killed her but then the vine wall fell to reveal her gone and a hole in the stage floor.
A venus flytrap burst out of the ground in front of him and popped open to reveal Bishie before she delivered an uppercut, her fist covered in thorny vines. The blow knocked Carrera back and cut up his chin. She opened her other hand and fired Bullet Seed, forcing him on the defensive as he raised an electromagnetic shield.
Carrera grew frustrated. He was the star of the show, not this inhumanly endowed strumpet! Eyes flashing, he summoned his Alter Ring.
A spotlight suddenly shone upon Carrera and he felt compelled to speak.
"It wast thy assumption yond I wouldst proveth far inf'ri'r in the visage of thy tactics," Carrera started. "But thee w're mistaken!"
"You fight and kill," Bishie retorted as she played along, another spotlight shining upon her. "Fight and kill. I fail to see the logic here. Is sanity the price to pay..." She pointed accusingly at him. "For power!?"
"Humans," Carrera droned, gazing at a skull that appeared in the palm of his hand. "Those gents art but stubb'rn and foolish. T doth take a journey to hell f'r those folk to accepteth and praise their God." He crushed the skull in his hand, blowing away the dust. "A fact yond tickles irony's judgement. "
"Hah, and your judgement interests me not! For I'm here to reclaim what is rightfully mine!" Bishie shot back.
"ABSOLUTE POWER!" Carrera yelled as he transformed. Black, orange-tinted energy swirled around him and the release of his power nearly blew Bishie away. When the energy vortex faded, Carrera was clad in his Agito armour. His suit was mainly silver and black with orange accents. The armour plating on his arms and shoulders was thick and covered in menacing orange spikes. His bodysuit had glowing orange lines on it. Finally, the eyes of his helmet were black with orange dots in them.
"Yond is what thee seeketh!" he bellowed as magnetic energy blazed in his palm over his head. "And yond is wherefore Agito Polaris waiteth in thy path!"
"You will fumble in your opposition of mine quest! Though I encourage, for an opportunity to battle a being of such grand delusion as you is a sweet fortune; MEGA EVOLUTION!"
Bishie raised her arm which had her Mega Stone worn on her wrist on a bracelet. A sphere of energy surrounded her before exploding, revealing her Mega Evolved form. Her breasts were still the same massive size but she had changed drastically. First, she had grown in height and was now ten feet tall. In addition, she had become quite muscular, developing a six-pack like She-Hulk, yet still retaining her sexy feminine form. Her hips were wide as her ass and thighs had also become bigger and she could only be described as 'thicc'. It was a miracle that her clothes had not been torn to shreds by her growth. Finally, her hair had grown longer and wilder with a flower on her head.
"Sunny Day!" Mega Bishie called out as the flower on her head glowed to release a miniature sun. The sun hovered high until it hung just below the ceiling.
"And what doest yond doth?" Polaris questioned.
"Extra lighting," Mega Bishie grinned.
Using his magnetism, Polaris shot across the floor to deliver a tackle, aiming his spiked shoulder at Bishie. The Pokewoman cried out as she was struck, the spike digging into her chest and knocking her to the ground.
"Hah, anon yond is wh're a wh're liketh thee belongs, on thy backeth und'r thy bett'rs!" Polaris gloated.
Bishie picked herself up as the wound on her chest healed up thanks to Synthesis.
Polaris charged at Mega Bishie again with a tackle but this time she was ready for him as she braced himself for his attack. Using her Mega Evolved muscles, Bishie caught and then tossed him into the air. She wound up her arm for a punch but he hovered in midair.
His spiked shoulder pads detached, becoming huge metallic fists which he threw at her. Bishie caught the first flying fist but the second one struck her in the back, knocking her to the floor. Raising both metallic fists, Agito Polaris brought them down repeatedly on the Pokewoman, the fists hammering her and damaging the floor as he shook the theatre.
Polaris gripped Bishie's body in his metallic fists and raised her up, sneering at his defeated opponent. She looked barely alive after the beating he had given her but he could not help but gloat before finishing her off.
"This is what thee receiveth f'r challenging thy bett'rs, green wench! So, any lasteth w'rds bef're I putteth thee out of thy mis'ry?" Polaris questioned mockingly as Bishie groaned. "Thee wanteth me to alloweth thee wend? Ahahahaha! S'rry! But the only releaseth thee shall taketh is the releaseth from life!"
"Giga... Drain..." Bishie's body glowed green and the glow spread all over Polaris
"What is this!?" Polaris demanded as the green glow began to sap his energy and feed it to Bishie, speeding up her recovery. "What!?"
Bishie was fully rejuvenated and with her strength restored she broke out of Polaris' grip so she could deliver her next attack.
"Magical Leaf!"
Polaris attempted to shield himself with his giant floating gauntlets but the Magical Leaf attack bypassed his defences, the multicoloured leaves miraculously slicing through his armour like spinning buzzsaw blades. He growled in anger as this big-boobed bimbo made a fool of him. Well, no more! The horns on his head fanned out as the sign of Agito briefly shined behind him.
"QUASAR COLLAPSE!"
Using his power, Polaris created a magnetic field in the centre of the stage which began to expand in size. Like a black hole, it began to suck everything into it. Bishie tried to root herself to the stage floor with her vines but it was no use as planks of wood were pulled into the magnetic field and she was being pulled in along with them.
Polaris grinned as Bishie was dragged into the magnetic field and he snapped his fingers once she was sucked inside. The magnetic field exploded, destroying the stage and leaving a huge hole in the middle of it.
Carrera cancelled his transformation to watch the dust settle. He expected to see Bishie's dead body lying broken in the hole but his eyes widened when he did not see any sign of her. Had she been completely obliterated?
A light shone in his face and he looked up at the miniature sun that Bishie had summoned earlier. He squinted his eyes and then he saw something hovering in front of the miniature sun.
It was Bishie, surrounded by a barrier of light called a Light Screen. She had learned it as a defensive move and had used it to minimise the damage caused by Polaris' Quasar Collapse. Cupping her hands together, a ball of solar energy appeared between her palms and grew in size. Throughout the fight since summoning the miniature sun, Bishie had been absorbing the solar energy into the large flower on her back. Now, it was fully charged and she was ready to unleash her strongest attack.
"MEGA SOLAR BEAM!"
Bishie thrust her hands forward like Son Goku from 'Dragonball' and fired a beam of green solar energy at Carrera. The roaring beam surged towards the Esper and he raised his magnetic field to shield himself but the Solar Beam broke through before hitting him straight in the chest. He was sent crashing into the seats, the beam pushing him through them, ripping many of them out of the floor before he came to a stop.
Bishie landed on the floor and approached Carrera, her Mega Evolution wearing off. She saw him struggle to pick himself up, using a seat as support and glaring murderously at her. Her Solar Beam had really done a number on him as his clothes were ruined and he looked sunburnt.
"How!? Can th're beest such a diff'rence between us!?" Carrerra demanded.
"You surrendered your humanity. It's that simple," Bishie answered as she stood before him.
"But thou art not human! So wherefore am I inf'ri'r!?" Carrera snapped.
"You assume humans are weak. OK, yeah, their bodies lack the physical ability of a superhuman. But humans possess something your greed will never understand," Bishie retorted.
"What... what? What is't yond I want?" Carrera pleaded, his legs shaking weakly. "Prithee, f'r the sake of mine own und'rstanding, prithee bid me!"
"If you really want to know so badly..." Bishie's fist connected with Carrera's face, spinning him in the air before he crashed in an unconscious heap. "Do your homework first." Then she walked back to the centre of the stage before turning to face the audience. "And the rest is silence."
Bishie bowed to thunderous applause.
"Die!"
*BOOM!*
"Die!"
*BOOM!*
"DIE! DIE! DIEEEEEEE!"
*BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!*
Heads exploded, but instead of blood, gore and brain matter, the only thing spilt were shards of ice.
When Vega first emerged from a pool of slime, he found himself standing on a freezing, snow-covered mountain. At first, he was all alone but then these creatures appeared. They were two to three metres tall and made completely of ice. The ice giants howled at the sight of him before they went on the attack. He defended himself the best way he knew how: by blowing up their heads. However, there seemed to be no end to them as they came at him in an endless horde. It did not matter how many heads he exploded as more would rise from the snow to replace their fallen kin.
"DIE! DIE! DIE!" Vega screamed as he kept blowing heads up. He would not stop until they were all dead. Anyone who dared to challenge him would have their heads blown up. Suddenly, a green flash and an emerald beam swept the area, obliterating the remaining ice giants. Vega blinked and looked up to see a glowing green figure descend from the sky.
Jade wore a uniform in homage to her father Alan Scott, aka the Green Lantern of the Justice Society of America. It was a red leotard with a black sash tied around her waist and a gold star in the middle of her chest that held her father's green lantern emblem. Her legs were covered by green thigh-high boots. Hanging from her shoulders was a dark green cape with an upturned collar and she wore a domino mask over her eyes.
"It's time for you to pay for your crimes," Jade declared as tossed her cape away. She never understood why some heroes like her dad wore capes. They got in the way and got snagged sometimes. They could also be grabbed and used to restrain him. So, she preferred not to wear capes. No judgement to heroes who did wear capes. She just never saw the appeal or purpose of them. Though, some heroes like Batman were able to make their capes stylish and functional.
"So, you've come to avenge that village," Vega concluded, knowing what this was about.
"That's right. You murdered innocent people, all for the fun of it. If it wasn't for Shinichi, they'd all be gone forever," Jade said as her eyes blazed with emerald light.
"Ah, I see. Well, the day Vega graced your village with his presence must have been the most important day of your life. But, for me, it was a Sunday," Vega said casually, without an ounce of shame or guilt. "And now it's time for you to die!"
Vega's eyes glowed as he prepared to blow her head up, but Jade quickly conjured a huge energy fist and punched him with all her might, sending him flying over the snowy ground. He went tumbling and rolled to a stop before he reached the edge. He climbed to his feet, rubbing his jaw as he glared at the girl.
"No head exploding for you," Jade decided, eyes glowing green before she shot straight at him like a missile. Vega rose into the air and flung himself at her. The two met in the middle, clashing violently as explosions erupted around them. Using tactile telekinesis, Vega boosted his own strength and shattered Jade's green energy constructs. He finally kneed her in the stomach and sent her crashing to the ground with a punch.
As Jade lay in the snow, Vega was on top of her. He wrapped his hands around her neck, slowly squeezing the life out of her. She struggled to pry his hands off her neck but his grip was too strong and getting tighter.
"I don't normally like to get hands-on like this, but I'll make an exception for you! Hahahahaha!" He cackled as Jade gasped something out. "What was that? Speak up."
"Now," she rasped.
"'Now'?" Vega echoed, puzzled.
"Now!" roared a third voice, as a large shadowy fist slammed into Vega, flinging him away from Jade. The emerald warrior got to her feet, massaging her neck.
"I saw how 'tough' you are," seethed Jade. "Attacking innocent civilians. Killing people who couldn't fight back. Well, let's see how tough you are against the brightest day."
Her shadow expanded and took humanoid form as it stood beside her. He was covered from head to toe in black, sporting a cloak and glowing white eyes.
"And the blackest night," Jade's twin brother Obsidian rasped gravely.
"Two on one hardly seems fair...for you," Vega's eyes flashed maliciously as he summoned his pink Alter Ring. "I believe this is when I take things up a notch. Vega slapped the buttons on his hips, activating his transformation. "Henshin!" A blinding light flashed from the Alter Ring, transforming him into his empowered Agito form. He was quite muscular, wearing crimson armour with large blue shoulder pads. His head crest was already fanned out and the large compound eyes on his face were glowing bright pink. He hovered off the ground as he crossed his arms arrogantly. "Now, prepare to die."
He shot straight at the twins like a flying battering ram. Quickly, Obsidian wrapped his cloak around himself and his sister as they fled into the Shadowlands to evade Vega's attack. As the siblings reappeared, Vega spun around and fired a Psycho Blast from his hands. Obsidian was struck, sending him flying across the snowy field.
"Todd!" Jade cried out and Vega capitalised on this to strike her in the stomach with his knee, blasting her across the snowy field. Landing on the ground, purple flames of Psycho Power burst from his hands and he slammed them on the ground. Pillars of Psycho Inferno flames burst out from under Jade and Obsidian, tossing them into the sky.
Grinning under his helmet, Vega warped to the twins and executed his Psycho Crusher. He charged his right hand with Psycho Power and spiralled through the air while flying straight towards the two opponents like a torpedo. He struck them with explosive force and sent them crashing back to the snowy mountain.
"You both are fools if you believe you have the power to beat me," Vega said as he lowered himself to ground level but kept his feet a foot off the snow, crossing his arms arrogantly as he sneered at the twins. Jade and Obsidian helped each other up, using each other for support. Obsidian simply chuckled in response. "What's so funny?"
"You claim to be all-powerful and yet you're not the one in charge," Obsidian mocked.
"What was that?" Vega growled.
"You talk all big and bad, saying how great and terrifying you are, but the fact is you're just a minion," Obsidian continued as he shrugged. "Hell, you aren't even the Magnum Opus. From what I hear, there's a woman who outclasses you. What exactly does that say? Face it, dude. At the end of the day, you're just another lackey for a psychopath who can throw once you're no longer useful."
"HOW DARE YOU!?" Vega raged as he flew at Obsidian and grabbed him by his throat before dragging him to the sky with him.
"Todd!" Jade shouted her brother's name.
Floating high in the sky, Vega gripped Obsidian's head in both his hands and began to crush his skull. While he preferred to use his power to make his victims' heads explode, there was a certain satisfaction in doing so with his own bare hands. Obsidian tried to pry Vega's hands off his head but the Agito's grip was like a vice.
"After I become more powerful, not even Kyofu will be able to claim superiority over me!" Vega shouted in Obsidian's face. "But first, I want to see your brains burst out of your skull. The sight will be truly delicious!"
"How about..." Obsidian grunted. "I give you a concussion?"
"Huh?" Vega blinked.
"Jade! Now!" Obsidian's cloak opened and Jade burst out from its shadow to deliver an uppercut as green energy surrounded her and it took the form of an Asian dragon.
"SHORYUKEN!" Jade shouted as her charged fist connected with Vega's chin, releasing an explosion of emerald energy. Vega released Obsidian as the blow blasted him straight to the sky.
Vega tumbled helplessly through the air before he came to a sudden stop. He massaged his chin and then found broken pieces of his helmet in his hand. He clenched his fists, his eyes blazing with rage.
"Now you fools, prepare to die by my Final Psycho Crusher," Vega growled as he ramped up his Psycho Power to the maximum. He plummeted straight to the ground, right on top of the twins. They saw him come too late as he landed, the impact knocking both twins away and separating them. He started with Obsidian, delivering a barrage of Psycho Power-charged punches before knocking him to the ground with a hammer fist. He then warped towards Jade and did the same, pummeling her with chain punches before knocking her to the snowy ground with the mother of all bitch-slaps.
Vega conjured multiple Psycho Power spheres and made them orbit around him before shooting them outwards. Jade and Obsidian screamed as they were consumed by the explosions, much to Vega's sadistic glee. As the smoke cleared, he saw them lying on the snowy ground, injured but alive.
"Now, who do I kill first? Green girl or emo boy?" Before Vega could make his decision, glowing magical circles appeared under the twins, bathing them in light. The light felt warm and comforting as their fatigue and injuries faded away. Their bodies no longer felt sore either. "What the hell!?"
"A gift from your friend?" Obsidian asked Jade as they rose up, good as new.
"Feels like it," Jade grinned back. "Remind me to thank her later."
"I'm done playing with this guy," grumbled Obsidian, before sinking into his own shadow.
"Ah, it would seem that your friend decided to run," smirked Vega.
"No, he's my brother and you are about to experience Hell," chuckled Jade.
"Wha-?" That was the only noise Vega managed to utter before he began to sink into his own shadow. Just like quicksand, it was trying to drag him to the bottom. Vega would not allow himself to be defeated in such a manner, however.
Eyes blazing, aura flaring, he began to rise up from the shadow trying to consume him. Black shadow tendrils lashed out to grab him but he snapped them apart as he resisted, his eyes flashing as his aura blazed violently.
Obsidian struggled to pull Vega into the shadow, but the Agito's Psycho Power was too strong. The more Obsidian tried to pull him down into his shadow, the more Vega tried to pull himself out. It was like a tug-o-war as both supernatural powers tried to overpower the other.
Jade watched worriedly as Vega was almost completely out of his shadow but then she got an idea. Using her power, she created a large hard-light construct above Vega. He did not notice it at first until he saw the green glow above him and looked up. His eyes widened in shock as he saw it.
It was a huge green anvil with the word 'ACME' written across it and weighing 10 tons.
"Heads up, doc!" Jade said as she flicked her wrist down and dropped the gigantic green anvil on top of Vega.
*GONG!*
It crashed down on Vega's head and sent him into the darkness. Moments later, Obsidian resurfaced out of his sister's shadow and looked at his sister's handiwork.
"Did you seriously drop an anvil on him?" Obsidian asked.
"Well, it worked in those cartoons we watched as kids," Jade shrugged. "So, how long should we keep him under?"
"We'll pull him out in about five minutes," grunted Obsidian.
As Nozomu - who was munching on popcorn - and Amora watched their harem sisters fight the Agitos, the former broke the silence.
"So what do we do after this?" Nozomu asked.
"Oh, once we take care of Kyofu and his psychics, we go back to getting ready for the wedding, of course," Amora answered.
"No, I mean what do we do about our little 'crisis'?" Nozomu reminded her, causing the Enchantress to pale. "Even if we beat the psychics, we still have four years left before Shinichi's death becomes permanent, and we still don't know what killed him."
"I know Alan won't give up, we know that for sure," Amora replied. "He still hasn't stopped looking for a way to save him."
"Any luck?" Amora asked as Alan returned and he shook his head.
"No, nada," Alan answered, shaking his head sadly. "I still can't find anything. The witch that kidnapped him wasn't responsible. If anything, she seemed like she was trying to help him too."
"So we still don't know anything."
"All I know is that we have six years until Shinichi's death becomes cemented as a fixed point. I gave Hanyuu my word that I would do everything in my power to save him and I haven't broken a promise yet."
"And if our intervention makes things worse?" Amora questioned.
"We can only hope it doesn't," Alan answered. "The timeline is a mess right now. We've got no other choice but to proceed slowly, and only intervene when we absolutely have to."
"That's just the way Alan is. Even if you tell him it's impossible, he'll do everything he can to save the people he cares about," Nozomu stated.
"Yes, Alan truly is amazing," Amora agreed. He had seen the good in her and was willing to give her a chance after she had been banished from Asgard. He even went and rescued her from Surtur even though it was a suicide mission. "And we owe Shinichi quite a lot as well. It's a shame we only realise that after we saw his grave."
While Alan was the one who had saved her, it was Shinichi who had inspired him to be a hero in the first place. If not for Shinichi, Alan never would have seen the path forward to becoming a hero after Parallax. If that never happened, Amora would have never met him, and she would still be obsessed with Thor, using her magic for her own selfish gain.
"I'm just glad that he supported my relationship with Alan," Nozomu added, smiling fondly. Her brother would have killed Alan if Shinichi had not convinced him to remove the cursed mark so that she could be with the Green Lantern. If Shinichi hadn't given Saku another perspective on the situation, Alan could have died from the cursed mark. He would have had to give up, and that was not in his nature. She understood that her brother was only looking out for her since human-Youkai relationships rarely worked out but he had to understand that she could choose her own mate.
The two watched the portals and saw that their harem sisters were finished with their opponents.
"They won," Nozomu smiled as Jade, Conda and Bishie defeated their opponents. She had no doubt they would.
"I can't believe Jade used an anvil," Amora remarked. "Alright, time to bring them home." Waving her hand, Amora closed the portals and brought back Jade, Todd, Bishie and Conda, all in their civilian clothing. "Good job."
"Did you have to put me in bikini armour?" Conda complained with her hands on her hips, annoyed.
"I thought it would be fitting," Amora shrugged. "Amazon Queen and all that."
"It's a cheesy stereotype," Conda scoffed before tucking her dark hair behind her ear.
"But it looked good on you," Amora pointed out.
"I admit, though, I did kind of like it," Conda confessed with an embarrassed blush.
"You can use it to have fun with Alan later."
"So, what happened to those guys after we beat them?" Bishie asked.
"Oh, I put them away in the Hive Tower's holding cells," Amora answered. "They won't be causing trouble now."
"Good," Conda replied with a satisfied smile. She had snapped Clementine's spine but left the electrokinetic alive. Without any help, she would never walk again.
"Hey, Amora. Todd and I nearly bit the dust back there but thanks for healing us," Jade said gratefully. She received a puzzled look from the Enchantress.
"That wasn't me," Amora confessed.
"What?" Jade asked. "Then who was it?"
"Maybe we've got a guardian angel watching over us," Todd suggested.
In an open field far from the border of Hinamizawa, hundreds of BTS soldiers gathered, waiting for orders so they could make their move. Kyofu had sent them to go scorched Earth on the village. He also sent along the Bio Breakers as additional manpower. These mooks were larger than their white-clad cohorts and were clad in dark, heavy-plated armour with blue visors in their helmets. Finally, the letters 'BTS' were stamped across their chests.
To make sure his forces were successful, he had also sent two members of his Alpha Force to lead them. Perched on a tree, a young man observed the village through a pair of high-powered binoculars, watching the villagers retreat into the Hive Tower. He was pushing into his adulthood with bright blond hair and blue eyes, as well as a lanky figure. He was dressed in a skin-tight suit with blue accents over his front and sides, a brown bomber jacket, and black boots. He carried a kunai on his left thigh and a gun on his right.
"Aw, would you look at that, Nii-san?" Rintaro Yoneda grinned as he put his binoculars away. "The hillbillies think they can hide in their big ass tower."
"They'll be in for a nasty surprise, won't they, Otouto?" Yoshikage Yoneda smirked, leaning against the tree with his arms crossed. He resembled his younger brother, though he was some years older, his hair was more unkempt, and his eyes were purple. He also wore a similar suit as his brother but with the colours inverted and his bomber jacket was black. Hanging from his back were twin machetes. "We'll just smash our way through the village while that tower comes tumbling down and none of them will ever figure it out." As he got off the tree, his face turned serious as he addressed the troops. "Listen up, you maggots! The Professor wants that village to be completely gone this time! Do whatever it takes! He wants that place wiped off the map with extreme prejudice! Now, let's move out!"
"Kinda bums me out that he made them so lame," Rintaro snickered before he leapt down from his perch. "It ain't no fun when they just mindlessly follow orders like that."
"It is what it is," Yoshikage shrugged. "Now, come on. We've got a village to slaughter."
The Yoneda brothers and their troops began their advance on the village, each of them tapping the buttons on their belts to turn them invisible. Tonight would be Hinamizawa's last night on Earth.
END OF ACT 10
DrEx: So, this chapter took place around the same time when Michiru, Megan and Hana infiltrated the Brain Trust Society's HQ to steal some intelligence. Amora used her magic to make some creatures and then used them to capture the Alpha Force members P, U and V. Bishie, Conda and Jade defeated their opponents who are now locked up. They won't be causing anyone any trouble. Now, it seems that the village will be under attack again and Shinichi is not there. Luckily, he left his friends to defend it. Will it be enough, though?
