The village of Hinamizawa was practically a ghost town. One might think the strange tales and urban legends about the village being cursed were true as if the villagers had done something to bring Oyashiro-sama's wrath upon them and were spirited away as punishment.
Five women were perched up on the roof of one of the houses and did not appear to be locals. Three were dark-skinned, one had silver hair, and the last one had long rabbit ears. The one with rabbit ears was perched at the edge of the roof, the one with silver hair was reading a book, two of the dark-skinned blondes were playing cards, and the last one was sitting on the other end.
"Hey," the red-eyed blonde flicked a pair of cards onto the pile in the middle.
"What?" the blue-eyed blonde asked, as she drew a card from the deck and then added two cards from her hand to the pile.
"Have you wondered why we're here?"
"We're here to protect this village."
"No, I mean, why are we here in this universe."
"As I said, we're here to protect this village."
"I'm talking about our purpose. Why were we born? That kind of stuff."
"Oh, you're being philosophical. Sorry, didn't know you had the capacity for that since you're usually all stabby-stabby and stuff."
"Can't you go a single day without being snarky, Daywalker?" Red Eyes demanded as her face twisted in annoyance.
"Can't help it, you make it too easy," Blue Eyes shrugged.
The rabbit-eared one blinked as her ears stood up.
"They're heeere~" At the sound of her call, the other four women stood and turned, facing the direction she was pointing at.
It was time to get to work.
Showa Chronicles: Road to Annihilation
Act XI: Good Morning, Angels
Rendered invisible by their cloaking technology, the Brain Trust Society's psychic troops entered the village. All of a sudden, a slug shell came out of nowhere and pierced the head of one of the Psycho Soldiers. His skull and helmet shattered as they exploded outward and brain matter came spewing out. This caused his cloaking tech to malfunction as he dropped dead on the ground.
"What was that?!"
"We've been spotted? That shouldn't be pos-!"
At that very moment, multiple magic circles appeared over their heads and rained purple blasts down on the unit, instantly vaporising many of the troops and sending the rest scrambling for cover. The magical onslaught rendered their cloaking tech useless too, causing them to become visible again.
"Ah! My arm!" a Psycho Soldier screamed in agony as held his bloody stump where his arm had been a second before. Next to him, a Bio Breaker rolled along the ground, groaning in pain.
"Argh! I can't feel my spleen! ...Oh, wait, there it is. Right next to me." A purple blast hit him, vaporising him.
"Who the hell is attacking us?!" questioned another Bio Breaker as he tried to crawl away because of his missing legs but a purple blast obliterated him on the spot.
The magic circles ceased their attack and vanished into thin air. The survivors thought they were in the clear until black spears sprouted from the ground and impaled many of their numbers.
"W-what the hell is going on here?!"
"They must have anticipated us and set up traps! We need to get out of here!"
"Shut up!" one of the larger Bio Breakers barked. "They can't kill all of us so keep moving!"
Those were his final words before a swift blur ran across him and he lost his head along with twenty other Bio Breakers and Psycho Soldiers. The others were not beheaded but were instead sliced in half. Whoever was attacking them, they were doing so from the cover of the shadows.
"Alright, you sneaky motherfuckers! Show yourself right now...!" a Bio Breaker threatened as he opened up two compartments on his chest to reveal his bio-energy laser cannons. "...or I'll fucking blow this lousy town to kingdom come!" He readied his cannons as energy started pouring into them. "Starting at five! Four! Three! Two! On-ARG!"
The Bio Breaker's countdown, threat, and life wound up being cut short when he was assaulted from five different directions. Dust picked up and the remaining army wasted no time as they began firing at their assailants. A cloud of dust and smoke obscured them as they were being fired upon.
"Cease fire! Cease fire!"
The Psycho Soldiers and Bio Breakers ceased firing and waited with bated breath to see the riddled corpse of their enemies. Once the dust settled, they saw their attackers in full view standing over the corpse of the Bio Breaker who threatened to destroy the village. To their surprise, they saw that it was a crew of five extremely attractive women.
The one in front was in her late teens with blue eyes and light blue hair. She was very attractive and beautiful, boasting a large chest and a gallant figure. Her outfit consisted of a blue halter-style bikini top that was connected to her collar with a matching miniskirt and white hot pants underneath. Her legwear consisted of sturdy white boots and a garter around her left thigh. She also wore white gloves on her hands. The most interesting aspect about her was that she had rabbit ears on her head, with a pink ribbon tied around her right ear. Hefted on her shoulder was a large hammer which she seemed to have no trouble holding.
On her left was an older woman who looked very pale but still alluringly beautiful. Her wavy silver hair went slightly past her shoulders and her crimson predatory eyes were narrowed. She wore a revealing short black sleeveless corset-style dress with a low neckline that reached her naval and was held together by crisscrossing lace. Her legs were encased in fishnet stockings and boots. A black cape with red lining rippled in the wind from his shoulders and she wore a tiara on her hand that made her look like royalty. The regal and confident way she stood with her hands on her hip and a firm frown on her purple-coated lips seemed to indicate that she was of royal blood.
Standing next to the silver-haired woman was a platinum-blonde around the rabbit girl's age. Unlike the woman, she had bronze skin and crystal blue eyes. Her hair was tied in a ponytail. She wore a white corset with matching pants and black-heeled boots that just stopped below her knees. Her white corset had gold accents and black colouring on the back that showed off her slim arms, gold bicep bands, and sizable cleavage. Just hidden behind her bangs was a blue gem on her forehead. She also wore a black cape that blew in the wind, but hers had blue lining and armoured shoulder pads. She held a chainsaw that glowed an eerie blue with runic letters etched on the sawblade while the teeth were coated with fresh blood.
The last two women on the rabbit girl's right had identical dark-skinned complexions and long pointed ears like elves. The first was another adult woman with smooth, long black hair that went all the way down her knees, brown eyes, and sharply pointed ears. She was well endowed and wore a silver crown that indicated she was royalty. She was in something that could barely be considered clothing as she wore a purple-plated vest that barely covered her large breasts and exposed her flat belly as well as an odd glyphic just above her black panties. Sleeves covered her arms and stopped at her shoulders while leggings with black heels covered her legs. At the very least, she wore an elegant black cloak with golden patterns and silver shoulder armour plating. She held a black sceptre with a U-shaped head that held a red orb on top.
The dark-skinned elf girl beside her had red eyes and her blonde hair was tied up in a side ponytail that reached down to her waist. Her outfit was as revealing as the dark elf she stood beside. She wore a blue jacket that was left open to reveal her toned body and ample breasts that were covered by an armoured bikini top that did not connect at the front. She did not wear any pants to reveal her thong, garters, blue leggings and brown hiking boots. Her eyes were sharp and focused, ready for a fight, proven by her blood-stained daggers.
"What the hell...?" a Psycho Soldier muttered in disbelief.
"Ladies," Queen Origa Discordia said as she spun her sceptre in her hand. "Let's say we send these motherless curs back to the Hell that spawned them?" Magic surrounded the head of her sceptre and she launched a sphere of dark eldritch energy at the psychics, blowing them away.
"OI-RYAH!" The rabbit girl crossed the distance quickly with mighty leaps and swung her hammer to cave in their skulls. They tried to fight back but she was far too agile for them. Dipping low, she broke shins and kneecaps with her war hammer. When they came down, she smashed their skulls into a bloody pulp.
"Hey, Chloe," blue-eyes spoke as she started up her chainsaw. "How about a little friendly competition?"
"Hmph, I guess I'm game, Marika," Chloe accepted as she hurled her daggers at a Psycho Soldier, hitting him in the throat and chest before they magically returned to her hands. "And that's one."
Marika rushed ahead, briefly vanishing in a blue mist, and with a swing beheaded a trio of Psycho Soldiers with ease.
"Three-pointer," Marika boasted, causing Chloe to scowl.
"Take this seriously!" Origa snapped at them.
"Oh, Origa. Just let them have their fun," Cara chided slightly. Snapping her fingers, black spears sprouted from her back before she made a gesture with her arms and threw them at the enemy soldiers. Several Psycho Soldiers were impaled through their skulls and a Bio Breaker ended up becoming a human pincushion. "That should be ten points, putting me in the lead, correct?"
"You got it, Lady Cara!" Marika gave her mistress a thumbs up.
Origa rolled her eyes and cast a lightning spell, zapping many enemy soldiers and turning them to dust. She twirled her sceptre and shouldered it.
"15," Origa boasted, playing along.
"Fire! Fire! FIRE!" a Bio Breaker shouted and the remaining troops fired their bio-energy cannons at the women.
"Get behind me!" Origa ordered and she slammed her staff on the ground to raise a magical barrier, shielding them from the Bio Breaker's firepower.
"Keep firing! That barrier won't hold for long!"
"Oh?" Cara quirked an eyebrow. She pointed her finger at the air, red mist gathering above them ominously before materialising black spears. In an instant, the spears shot straight down at the Psycho Soldiers and Bio Breakers, violently harpooning them. The spears brought through their helmets as they came in through their mouths and out their anuses, pinning them in place. It was like a scene created by the infamous Vlad the Impaler to intimidate his enemies.
"You sure are as ruthless as ever, Cara-san," the rabbit girl cringed, looking at the impaled soldiers from behind the barrier.
"And it looks like she's the winner," Chloe remarked.
"As expected of Cara-sama," Marika praised girlishly.
After a few seconds, the remains of the BTS troops began to dissolve into odoriferous goo. Even their uniforms dissolved as if they were being melted by acid.
"That stinks," Shia muttered as she pinched her nose.
You know, as soldiers that focused on the power of the mind, I figured they would be smarter," Cara criticised.
"I'm a little insulted that they sent cannon fodder," Marika remarked as she flipped her hair from her shoulder.
"Wait," Origa noticed. "If these were merely the foot soldiers, then where are their commanders?"
"Maybe they got scared and ran away," Shia piped merrily as she plopped her hammer in front of her. She leaned against it, her hefty melons wrapping around the shaft. "They totally saw us mop the floor with their minions and ran away to change their pants. So much for-" She suddenly stopped as her ears twitched and straightened up. Panicking, she turned her head to face Chloe. "Chloe-san! Stop, drop and roll!"
The dark elf looked startled just as a glowing shuriken came flying towards her. Heeding Shia's warning, she ducked and the ninja star missed her, only managing to slice off a few inches from her hair. At the same time, the bunny girl performed a backflip as a pair of glowing machetes were about to slice into her. Both of them regrouped with the other, all eyeing their new assailants.
"Well I'll be damned," Yoshikage remarked appreciatively, spinning one of his machetes in hand. "So it was a bunch of fine hunnies who dismantled our operation. The Professor is not gonna be happy about this." In his Agito form, he resembled a samurai in white armour with gold accents as if he was a divine warrior. Sode protected his shoulders while kasazuri hung from his white Alter Ring. The armour around his thighs was thick and reinforced. His helmet also included a shikoro to protect his neck area with blue eyepieces.
"All those soldiers and nothing to show for it," Rintaro sighed as he shook his head while crouched beside his brother. "I guess it's fine. All the more fun for us." In his Agito form, he resembled a ninja. Holding a large shuriken in each hand, he wore light armour in a midnight blue hue with tabi boots on his feet. His purple bodysuit had a scale-like pattern while his vambraces sported runes of an unknown language. Hanging from his neck was a long red scarf while his eyepieces were green. His helmet resembled the face of a frog.
"Are you both the commanders of this now non-existent army?" Marika asked, pointing her chainsaw at them.
"Oh, you got it in one, baby," the elder brother grinned. "Yoshikage Yoneda. And he..." He thumbed at the other Agito. "Is my younger brother, Rintaro. But you can call us Agito Musashi and Agito Sasuke."
"It's a pleasure, ladies," Sasuke saluted.
"Yoshikage and Rintaro Yoneda," Shia frowned as she recognised their names. "You two are serial killers who were supposed to be on Death Row, but you broke out a year ago."
"You can thank the good professor for that," Agito Sasuke said, licking his lips as he leered at the women lecherously. He was already picturing what he and his brother were going to do to them. The dark-skinned women were scantily clad, looking like strippers in sexy lingerie, with the bunny girl looking just as equally titillating. Not to mention the last two, as the silver-haired one had a nice set of tits and the other one wore a tight outfit that was just begging to be torn off. Such fine bodies, pretty faces and smooth skin. Oh, he wanted to sink his teeth into them.
Even though their faces were hidden behind helmets, the women knew how the two deranged men were looking at them. Cara and Marika had experienced this from the vampire supremacy faction that was led by the former's uncle. Chloe had been enslaved by lecherous and abusive humans in her childhood before being rescued and taken under Origa's wing. Origa herself had one such close encounter with a certain human named Volt. Being a rabbit beastman that was very easy on the eyes, Shia had experienced her share of unwanted attention.
"I suggest you keep the brains in your pants in check lest you lose them," Origa warned with a deep glower. "All of us are spoken for."
"Oh, maybe we can change your minds," Agito Musashi grinned, his machetes glowing, "Don't worry, my bro and I won't disappoint."
"Can't wait to hear what kind of screams you make," Agito Sasuke chuckled. "Hey, Nii-san, let me play with the bunny girl, yeah?"
"Only if you share," Agito Musashi agreed.
"That's part of the fun!" Agito Sasuke threw his two glowing shurikens at the ground in front of the woman. The shurikens flashed rapidly and Origa's eyes widened.
"Scatter!" she commanded and they scrambled for safety before the shuriken exploded.
Selecting his target, Sasuke crouched down and leapt like a frog straight towards Shia.
"Eep!" Shia squeaked as she jumped away from Agito Sasuke who started chasing after her.
"C'mon, bunny! Don't run! I promise to be gentle!" Sasuke laughed.
"Get away from me!" Shia screamed as she jumped around as Agito Sasuke continued chasing after her, throwing his shurikens at her. The throwing stars flew fast, but the bunny girl hopped left and right to avoid them, not getting hit even once as they stuck to houses. As he went to pounce her, she swung her hammer but he avoided her swing before landing atop her weapon.
"You remind me of this one bunny girl I met in a casino. She was a screamer up until the very end," he said to Shia, eyeing her like a piece of meat. "Mind screaming for me, too?"
"I'd rather see you scream!" she yelled as she swung her hammer up, causing the ninja to jump back into the air before landing on his feet.
"I love it when they fight! A dead fish ain't no fun!" Sasuke laughed as he tossed his shuriken at her. Shia deflected the flying throwing stars with her hammer and lunged forward, intent on crushing him with the hammer. She missed as he swiftly sidestepped and got behind her. He grabbed her ears, tugging on them roughly, and held a shuriken to her throat. With perverse glee, he ran the tip down her throat to the top of her bikini, imagining the things he would do to her. If he was not wearing his helmet, he would be licking her neck right now. He loved the taste of fear.
Shia gritted her teeth and stomped on his foot. He cried out as he released her. Distracted by the pain, he did not see her war hammer coming as she struck him in the jaw, knocking him back. She then brought her war hammer down on him, smashing him repeatedly.
"Only!"
*WHAM!*
"My Hiro!"
*WHAM!*
"Gets to touch me like that!"
*WHAM!* *WHAM!* *WHAM!*
Shia shouldered her war hammer, satisfied with her work until Sasuke suddenly went off in a puff of smoke. When the smoke cleared, she found herself looking at a scarecrow with a paper that had the word 'BAKA' on it taped to its face.
"Huh?" Shia uttered. Her ears went up the moment she sensed Sasuke coming at her from behind.
"Gotcha!" Shia quickly spun around and reared back her hammer to strike him when a black spear came flying at him. His reflexes kicked in and he leapt up to avoid it, landing on a roof. From his perch, he saw Cara who had multiple black spears hovering behind her.
"Do not get careless," Cara advised Shia who nodded furiously. Snapping her fingers, she fired her black spears at Sasuke. Jumping from the roof, he bobbed and weaved between the spears as he made his way to Cara but Marika intercepted with her chainsaw, nearly taking his head off. He managed to slide onto his knees as the roaring chainsaw blade soared over him. She spun and swung but his brother saved him by blocking with his twin machete, pushing Marika back.
"You bitches stand no chance against us! With this power, we have ascended to the level of demigods!" Agito Musashi boasted. "You should just surrender and serve us as slaves!"
"Trust us, we'll take really good care of you," Agito Sasuke chuckled. He and his brother had their first taste of murder when they were in high school. Their parents got divorced before they started middle school and their dad won sole custody. However, he was neglectful at best and abusive at worst. He remarried a hostess but she was abusive despite being so beautiful.
One night, he and his brother picked up a girl and they had their way with her but Rintaro got a bit carried away, choking her to death during the act. However, Yoshikage was not the least bit disgusted. In fact, he was thrilled by it and this act forever strengthened the bond between the brothers. They committed more murders after that, gaining more and more attention on the news as girls in their area continued to go missing. Parents were afraid and did not let their daughters leave at night while the schools in their area advised their students to head straight home and travel in groups.
The night that they finally got caught was when they raped and murdered their stepmom. They had tied their father up and made him watch right before they killed him too. Their crimes were so horrific that every major news outlet in the country, if not the world, caught wind of them, and after a lengthy trial, they were swiftly given the death penalty.
Origa raised her staff and summoned bolts of lightning down on Agito Musashi, but he swiftly deflected them with his machete.
"All I see is just another pathetic grunt who believes he's entitled to force himself on women," she retorted, frowning deeply. "I've dealt with men like you once already and they are now six feet under."
"Oh, is that right?" Musashi chuckled. It was time to show these women that they always got what they wanted. "Do your thing, Rintaro."
"You got it, Nii-san!" Sasuke suddenly blurred as he zipped around at high speed. Eyes glowing, he struck each of the women once, leaving a cut on them. Once he was done, he opened his palm to reveal a set of five rainbow-coloured pearls.
Musashi saw this and smiled as he locked blades with Chloe. Their eyes met and her red eyes flashed. He then kicked her away before Shia could strike him with her hammer. He gazed into her eyes, causing them to glow red as well before he shoved her into Chloe.
"You nearly hit me, you dumb rabbit!" Chloe snapped at Shia.
"You shouldn't have gotten in my way!" Shia shot back.
"He was mine!"
"No, mine!"
"Mine!"
"Mine!"
They argued while exchanging blows as Musashi watched. He then turned his gaze on Origa, Cara and Marika.
Cara was next as she fired her black spears but he deflected them, knocking them away with his blades. Marika came to her aid but he backhanded her and grabbed Cara's hair. He met her gaze and her eyes flashed red before he tossed her into Origa.
"Cara, are you alright?" Origa asked.
"Let me go!" Cara snapped as she pushed Origa away. "And don't act as if you care!"
"What are you saying!? I do care!" Origa yelled back, confused.
"No, you just like to lord over people! Just because you are Crow's first, that does not mean you are better than us!"
"I never thought that!" Origa denied and gasped as Marika attacked her with her chainsaw but she blocked it with her magic shield.
"Do not raise your voice at Lady Cara!" Marika yelled at Origa.
"Chloe!" Origa shouted but Chloe was busy fighting Shia. She gritted her teeth, using her magic to defend herself from Cara and Marika who were relentlessly trying to kill her. Those brothers must have used mind control to manipulate her friends.
Origa deflected a spear and jumped back from Marika's chainsaw, only to end up bumping into Musashi. She turned to face him but that was a mistake as their eyes met. His eyes flashed red and her eyes gained the same red hue. As Marika and Cara went for the kill, Origa spun and repelled them with a wave of dark magic.
"YOU DARE TO STRIKE ME!?" Origa bellowed and she rained dark lightning upon her comrades. "THEN DIE!"
Something was wrong, Origa could feel it, but she was just so angry right now. Chloe was useless, Shia was a stupid slut, and both Cara and Marika were always trying to steal her prince from her.
THEY WOULD ALL PAY!
What happened was that the Yoneda brothers had used their powers on them. Yoshikage's power was Anger Manipulation while Rintaro's was known as Aspect Separation.
With Aspect Separation, Rintaro could separate a person's personality traits from their psyche. Normally, he would use this to remove a person's positive traits, leaving their negative traits behind. This left them with a personality imbalance as their negative traits became more dominant.
Yoshikage's Anger Manipulation allowed him to control anyone's aggression level. He could turn a person into a mad monster or a submissive sheep. He remembered when he used this power on their father fondly, controlling his rage so easily.
The brother's powers complemented each other. Rintaro could use his Aspect Separation to remove their victims' positive traits which made them more susceptible to Yoshikage's Anger Manipulation. Any lingering resentment or hatred someone possessed would instantly erupt, just like it did now.
They watched as the women fought amongst themselves, enjoying the show. They would wait until they tired themselves out before making their move.
Origa was overwhelmed by a haze of anger, causing her to lash out at her comrades - her friends. Who were they supposed to be fighting again? Wait, those two Agitos. She looked away for only a second and Cara struck her with a black spear.
"Do not turn your back on me!" Cara screamed. The anger returned and Origa slammed her staff against Cara's face.
"Listen, you stupid bitch! I'm not your enemy!" Origa yelled and she pointed her sceptre at the Yoneda brothers. "They are!"
But Cara was not listening, angrily firing black spears at Origa. The dark elf queen snarled as she deflected the spears but one managed to pierce her shoulder, spilling blood. She cursed under her breath. She looked up to see Cara and Marika coming at her with the intent to kill.
Origa regained her senses. Right now, the biggest threats to her life were Marika and Cara. Shia and Chloe ignored everyone else, too focused on killing each other. Origa needed to regain control of the situation. Pushing her anger aside, she cast a spell she had learned from a former enemy Elf Priestess.
"I call upon the Gods of Light to banish the darkness that clouds the mind!"
As her voice rose she raised her staff and slammed it down, releasing a wave of light magic that washed over herself and her friends, lifting the haze from their minds as the red hue faded from their eyes. Chloe and Shia groaned and the former gasped as she realized she had her dagger ready to pierce Shia's heart. As for Cara and Marika, they shook their heads and blinked in confusion.
"What...were we doing...?" Cara wondered, feeling like she had a headache.
"Are you alright?" Origa asked Cara, resting a hand on her shoulder.
"Yes," Cara answered and saw Origa's shoulder wound. "You're injured."
"It's just a flesh wound," Origa assured her. "You were all trying to kill me."
"We were?" Marika gasped.
"Oh, Origa-sama! Forgive me!" Chloe pleaded, falling to her knees. "I was careless in my duty!"
"It's not your fault," Origa smiled fondly then glared at Musashi and Sasuke. "It's theirs."
"Nii-san, I think you need to do your thing again," Sasuke said as the women advanced on them.
"You're right," Musashi agreed as he prepared to use his Anger Manipulation on them again. However, Origa would not let him manipulate them again as she raised her staff and fired a barrage of magical blasts at them.
"Shit!" Sasuke cursed as he leapt away before he was blasted to bits causing him to drop the rainbow-coloured pearls. As soon as they left his hands, they flew back to their original hosts. He failed to notice this as he threw his shurikens.
Musashi was sent tumbling by the magical assault but he recovered quickly to pick himself up. As Marika came at him with her chainsaw, he raised his machetes to block but the runes on her chainsaw blade glowed, empowering it. Their blades connected but his machetes shattered to pieces. While he was stunned, she struck him across the chest, ripping sparks off violently. He staggered back from the strike and was about to retaliate when Cara pierced his legs with black spears, bringing him to his knees.
"Argh! You bitch!" Musashi cursed as he tried to pull the black spears out but they were not budging.
"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" Shia screamed as she came running at him and swung her war hammer at Musashi. As he was stuck watching the bunny girl about to deliver her coup de grace on him, he let out his last words.
"Oh, crap."
And the war hammer smashed into his head, violently ripping it right off his shoulders. It bounced off a wall before it rolled on the ground.
Meanwhile, Sasuke was fighting Chloe and sparks flew as they exchanged blows. He tried to slice her up with his shurikens but she parried his strikes with her daggers before she delivered a reverse roundhouse kick to his head. He staggered backwards and tripped on something before falling onto the ground. When he saw what he had tripped over, his eyes widened in horror as staring back at him was the severed head of his brother.
"NII-SAN!" Sasuke screamed in anguish.
"One down," Origa remarked with a smirk. "And one more left to go."
"You...! I'll kill you...!" Sasuke hissed defiantly as he conjured his ninja stars. However, realizing that he was outnumbered and that these women had proven more than capable of taking him on, he growled in defeat. "Screw this! I'll deal with you later!" He threw a smoke bomb and when the smoke cloud faded, he was gone.
"He got away, Origa-sama," Chloe said, frowning.
"Don't worry about him, Chloe. What matters is that we protected this village," Origa assured her.
"We may need to do something about the corpse just to be safe," Marika suggested, gesturing to Yoshikage's headless body. "If I remember, one of them can revive the dead."
"In that case," Shia declared as she held up her hammer over her head. "I'm gonna make some fertiliser!" A ringing sound suddenly went off, stopping her.
"Hold that thought, Shia," Cara said, stopping Shia midswing. She plucked out a communicator that was attached to her belt. It resembled a pocket watch with XIII-7 etched on the lid. When she popped it open, it revealed a screen on the lid's backside and a set of buttons. The screen showed Crow's name. "OK, I need to take this call over there. You may begin." Cara stepped away as Shia began pounding Yoshikage's body.
"Hello, love," Cara smiled warmly as she answered the call like she was talking on a phone. "Yes, we handled the invading force. They were a bit of a challenge but they were no match for us." Behind her, Shia had swung her hammer so hard that Yoshikage's chest literally exploded. Shia got splashed with blood and his heart got stuck in her hair. She screamed as she frantically tried to get it out. "Oh, you heard a noise? It's nothing. Just cleaning up. We'll be fine. OK, we'll be back. I'll call you back later. Love you." She ended the call with a kiss and turned around to see Shia covered in blood but everyone else did not have any blood stains on them. "How are the rest of you still clean?"
"We stood away from the splash zone," Chloe answered.
"I need to get clean," Shia whined.
"By the way, did anyone see where the head went?" Marika asked.
"Don't worry, Nii-san. I'll take care of you and then I'll make those bitches pay," Rintaro swore as he clutched his brother's head, running through the woods.
Yoshikage was the only real family he had left and now he was gone. But maybe, just maybe, Elise could bring him back to life. Sure, all he had left of his brother was just his head but that should be enough, right?
For a brief moment, his Alter Ring manifested and changed appearance before it faded away.
Meanwhile, Shogo was in the command centre, waiting for an update. Shinichi had left him in charge before going on his mission. He had warned Shogo that Kyofu may order another attack on the village out of spite. Dutifully, Shogo obeyed and remained at the base with the others to defend it and the villagers who were under their protection.
Watching the large screen, he could see that there was trouble in Tokyo but he learned that it was all just a distraction created by Amora so there was nothing to worry about. He just hoped it worked and drew Kyofu's strongest psychics away from their base.
Shogo had yet to receive word from any of the teams and so far there did not seem to be any trouble coming. But if Shinichi was right, then it was only a matter of time.
"Intruders have breached the perimeter," Sheila reported.
"Looks like they came, just like Shinichi said they would," Shogo stated.
"There's more; five identified women have started to engage them and doing so successfully."
"Excuse me?" Shogo blinked. "Unidentified women?" The large screen displayed what could be best described as total, one-sided curb stomping carnage. "Who are they?"
"Unknown. I will attempt to search all available databases for their identities."
"Make it so," Shogo commanded. He did not like unknown variables and needed to know if these unidentified women were either friends or foes.
"Hey, what's up?" Daichi asked as he came over with Hanyuu.
"Shinichi's prediction came true," Shogo answered.
"OK," Daichi cracked his knuckles. "Let's go fuck these fuckers up."
"No need," Shogo declined. "Someone else is taking care of the problem for us." Just then, the alarm rang, causing the two of them to look up. "...Now what?"
"Alert! Unidentified wormhole energy detected!" Sheila reported. The large screen showed a black and blue portal appearing near the tower.
"You were saying?" Hanyuu asked, thumbing at the screen. "Looks like things won't be boring after all. Let's give these punks a warm welcome."
"You read my mind," Shogo concurred.
"Why couldn't we just portal inside?" Daytona grumbled after he stepped out of the portal along with his cohorts: Kyouya, Sogou, and Jota. All of them were dressed in their official white Alpha Force uniforms.
"They must have a barrier to keep us out," Kyouya answered. "Very clever."
"Whatever," Sogou punched his open palm. "Let's scrap 'em' good this time!"
They stepped up to the entrance and Sprinkles immediately aimed his weapons when he saw them.
"HALT!" Sprinkles commanded. "YOU ARE TRESPASSING! WALK AWAY OR YOU WILL BE TERMINATED!"
"Get out of our way or be turned to slag!" Daytona countered threateningly as he ignited his hands, eyes blazing. Sogou cracked his knuckles as he got ready to scrap Sprinkles while Kyouya got ready to draw his sword.
It was a tense standoff and while Sprinkles was aware of the danger, he would not abandon his post. He charged up his cannons, ready to blast the Espers with extreme prejudice. That was when the door opened to let Shogo, Daichi, Chiaki, Hanyuu and Yokoshima out to 'welcome' the Alpha Force.
The NEO-NUMBERS were in uniform as they wore black jackets over black T-shirts with matching pants, boots and gloves. ARMOR's logo was etched on their belt buckles and their shoulder patches were their personal insignias. Shogo's shoulder patches were hornets with the number 00 in them. Daichi's shoulder patches were crickets with the number 08 in them. Yokoshima's shoulder patches were pillbugs with the number 09. Finally, Chiaki rolled his sleeves up to his elbows and his shoulder patches were termites with 02 in them.
Only Hanyuu did not wear the uniform as she wore a full black bodysuit that also covered her hands and feet. She wore a short-sleeved black kimono top with red and white trim and around her waist was a black and red sash.
"Sprinkles, heel," Yokoshima ordered.
"AFFIRMATIVE, MASTER," Sprinkles obeyed as it stopped charging his weapons, standing down.
"Now, sit." Sprinkles crouched down. "Good boy."
"So, you came back to finish the job," Shogo said as he saw the group, his eyes lingering on Jota for a few extra seconds.
"The Professor was very unhappy when you guys didn't stay dead," Kyouya answered with a smile. "So he sent us to rectify the situation."
"I'm just here to scrap you guys with my two best friends," Sogou raised his fists. "'Assault' and 'Battery'."
"I have two friends I want you to meet too," Daichi said as he raised his right middle finger. "Fuck." He then raised his left middle finger. "And off."
"Well, I got a couple of more friends too!" Sogou snapped as he gave Daichi the finger with both hands. "Screw! You!"
"Fuck! Off!"
"Screw! You!"
"Fuck! Off!"
"Screw! You!"
"Both of you shut the fuck up!" Daytona snapped, his fiery aura blazing. "Now, where's that werewolf? He and I got unfinished business!"
"Werewolf?" Yokoshima blinked before remembering what Ryuji's Orphenoch form looked like. "Oh, he's not here right now."
"Oh, is that right?" Daytona growled. "In that case, we'll have to keep this short!" He unleashed a stream of flames at the cyborgs but Yokoshima quickly transformed and stood in front of the flames, using his thick armoured body to shield his friends. Daichi swiftly delivered a counterattack, belting out a Cricket Shriek that slammed into the psychics, scattering them.
"Go! Go! Go!" Shogo ordered and the NEO-NUMBERS, as well as Hanyuu, charged at their opponents.
END OF ACT 12
DrEx: And so begins the Battle for Hinamizawa but it looks like Alpha Force has encountered some obstacles. As you see here, we also have some new characters which we took from other series so let us introduce them to you.
Origa Discordia (from: "Kuroinu"): Also known as the Dark Queen, she took power over the creatures of darkness and declared war against humanity for the atrocities that they had committed against her kind. It was at this point a young prince named Crow was summoned by the high elven priestess Celestine Lucullus to help stand against her. She was amused by this at first, wondering what Celestine found so special about this young human. They fought several times, and each time, Origa was caught by surprise by his swordsmanship as well as his other abilities. It was during a critical turning point of the war that she ended up captured by a mercenary named Volt, who intended to use her as a sex slave for him and his men. Before she could be violated, the land was soon invaded by a legion of creatures that killed most of the warriors on both sides, including Volt and most of his men. She rallied the rest of her army and attempted to fight back against the strange invading force but, to her dismay, found her magic to be ineffective against them. Before she could be killed by the , she was rescued by Crow. After driving the away, Origa declared the war to be over. She, along with her handmaiden Chloe, left with Crow back to his world while entrusting Celestine with both their kingdoms. She goes on to stay with him, accompanying him on his travels and refers to herself as his "Dark Queen" and calls him her "Young Prince". She enjoys sleeping with him and insists on being the one on top while in bed due to being both a queen and the older one.
Chloe (from: "Kuroinu"): A servant of the Dark Queen as well as her close confidant and shadow, Chloe is a dark elf and a highly skilled warrior. She wields a pair of twin daggers and is well-versed in dark magic. During Crow's arrival in Eostia, she was one of his first opponents. At first, seeing him as a fool for challenging her, she was taken aback when she found herself matched by him in skill. She became frustrated and at the same time intrigued by his abilities. To her shock, she found herself aroused by his powers and his charm but would try to convince herself otherwise. After Volt's attempted mutiny and the invasion of the legion, she and Origa joined forces with him to clear them out. She travels with her queen for petty reasons to his kingdom, where she has a tsundere attitude towards him.
Cara Cromwell (from: "Cara the Blood Lord"): Cara is the benevolent queen of the vampires of the Kingdom of Skarrose. Unlike other vampires, she and the rest of her people express interest in coexisting peacefully with humans. She considers them companions instead of food as she has no issue with working alongside them and the blood she does drink is from willing donors. Like any good ruler, Cara shows genuine concern for her people and kingdom, e.g. when they are in danger of being in the clutches of the plans of her vicious uncle Gram. As Crow's mate, he is willing to let her drink from him since it tends to have an aphrodisiac effect on him when she bites him. She has something of a rivalry with Origa when it comes to who's the better queen for the young prince.
Marika Krishna (from: "Cara the Blood Lord"): Marika is the personal right-hand woman and leader of the Order of Assassin Knights who serves the Vampire Queen Cara. She has an undying loyalty to her queen, willing to protect Cara and her interests at all costs. To an extent, she also has a sense of fealty to the Kingdom of Skarrose and her people, since Cara's concerns are Marika's as well. Marika can be described as a calm, serious, and collected individual that rarely expresses her emotions. While Marika is not anti-social, she can be a bit of an introvert and will express some discomfort when made the centre of attention, likely due to her being raised to be an assassin. She finds the idea of wearing a skirt to be embarrassing. Despite being an earnest person, Marika does possess a sense of humour, albeit a dry one. Marika once considered herself a lesbian as she harbours romantic feelings for Cara, but is aware that her queen needs an eternal mate to rule by her side and give her an heir. However, she also has a fondness for Crow, seeing him being chosen as Cara's mate as an opportunity to be his mistress at the very least.
Shia Haulia (from: "Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest"): A Cursed Child of the Rabbit people, she can see the future. Originally hidden away for her white hair and precognitive ability, for petty reasons, she used her power and exposed her existence to the other demihumans. This resulted in her and her whole tribe being banished from the Sea of Trees, making them essentially marked for death until a 'chance' encounter with Hiroyuki. Deciding to be his companion on a whim, she barely manages to join him. Shia is at times annoyingly needy and childish but is very friendly and kind with a strong sense of loyalty. She is also a sadistic battle maniac that enjoys crushing and blowing away her opponents. While she is perverted and likes to flirt with Hiroyuki, she's shy and self-aware when she does so in public, but she is quite assertive in bed and can easily tire Hiroyuki out, which he doesn't seem to mind at all. Her main weapon is a war hammer, but she is also able to use firearms and is an unmatched martial artist.
