"Let's see what they have on interdimensional cable," Hiroyuki said as he picked up the remote on the coffee table, turned on the TV and made himself comfortable on the large U-shaped couch in the Lucky 13's lounge area. He began flipping through the channels. "No, no, no, no, no." While interdimensional cable gave them access to countless channels that existed in the Multiverse, it also made it hard to find something good to watch. He finally found something worth watching and grinned. "Yeeees!"
"Ten buxom babes of pure, hot muscle, ten college freshman boys who spent their high school years stuffed in lockers, all on an island with nothing but their underwear! Amazon Island, coming up next on Sick, Sad World!"
As he made himself comfortable to enjoy the show, he grabbed a slice of pizza from the box on the coffee table to snack on. It was a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Pizza was his favourite food, except if it had pineapple on it. Pineapple did not belong on pizza and should be a sin. As he took a bite, Seiten sauntered into the room and planted herself on his lap.
"I'm bored, Hiro! Entertain me!" she demanded.
"Well, we could watch some TV and have some pizza," Hiroyuki offered after finishing his slice with a couple more bites. She glared at him and snatched the remote from his hand before using it to turn the TV off. "Hey, I was watching that!"
"Instead of watching some Amazon bimbos mud wrestling with puny men, how about we wrestle on this couch?" she suggested, playing with his antenna hair. "It will be way more fun, I promise." She kissed his cheek before she began to lick and nibble on his earlobe, causing him to shudder.
"Oh, baby," Hiroyuki exhaled as he put his arms around Seiten and kissed her deeply. They shared an open-mouth kiss, their wet tongues swirling together. Seiten felt something poke her inner thigh and grinned.
"Kikiki~. Oh, Hiro, is that a gun or are you just happy to have me?" she teased.
"You know the answer to that, you sexy monkey," Hiroyuki said huskily as he put his hands on her sweet ass, digging his fingers into the firm yet soft flesh.
"Then ravish me right on this couch!" she commanded. Hiroyuki laid her on the couch and was about to proceed when Raheem cleared his throat.
"Oh, hey there, bro!" Hiroyuki greeted as Raheem gave him a deadpan glare.
"Can you not do that here?" Raheem asked.
"Don't cockblock me."
"I'm not. I just prefer that you keep your bedroom activities strictly in the bedroom."
"Fine," Hiroyuki sighed, annoyed. He helped Seiten up. "I'll see you in bed later, babe."
"Don't be late, Hiro," she whispered in his ear, making sure to rub his hardened erection before leaving. He lightly smacked her ass as she went.
"Hate to see her go but love to watch her leave," Hiro commented as his eyes were glued on Seiten's ass.
"Can you not act like a horny frat boy right now?" Raheem admonished.
"Raheem, Raheem, Raheem, you're young so you don't understand. But one day, you will notice girls and want to do things with them," Hiroyuki told his brother. "So, why did you interrupt my nookie time with Seiten?"
"I've been watching the timeline," Raheem informed his brother. "There haven't been any significant changes to our father's fate."
"So, what kills him had nothing to do with Kyofu," Hiroyuki concluded as he turned serious.
"Time is still in flux and something big is going to happen soon. We need to be ready."
"Isn't Shinjiro with Oyaji right now? I'm sure they can handle it," Hiroyuki said nonchalantly.
"We can't afford to be so careless, Hiro," Raheem chided.
"Bro, you need to relax. If things do go FUBAR, we'll be ready for it," Hiroyuki assured his little brother.
"Is it ready then, the present for our father?" Raheem asked.
"Shinjiro has it. He's just waiting for the right time to give it to him. Now, if you don't mind, I've got a frisky little monkey waiting for me in bed."
"Just go and get off."
"Oh, I intend to. Many, many times." Hiroyuki grinned as he stood up to join Seiten in his bedroom. "Don't be alarmed if you hear any screaming. That just shows I'm banging her good."
"At least our rooms are soundproofed," Raheem deadpanned as Hiroyuki left. Once Hiroyuki went away, Raheem had some peace and quiet until Shia entered the lounge area with Chloe, Cara, Origa, and Marika. "How did the mission go?"
"Succeeded without any issue," Origa claimed.
"Where's Hiro?" Shia asked. "I want to tell him the good news."
"He's with Seiten, in his bedroom," Raheem answered.
"Oh, goodie!" Shia skipped away to join her lover. Raheem rolled his eyes but that was to be expected. Shia was affectionate and Hiroyuki often rewarded her if she did well on missions.
"I'll never understand women," Raheem sighed.
"That's only because you're still young, boya," Chloe snarked, a cheeky smirk on her face as she leaned down. Raheem grimaced as he realised she was purposefully flashing her cleavage. "When you're old enough, you'll start to notice women too."
"I hope not," Raheem mumbled. He grabbed a slice of pizza and took it with him.
Showa Chronicles: Road to Annihilation
Act XIX: Release the Kraken!
The members of Alpha Force stood speechless with their jaws wide open when they heard the words that came out of D's mouth.
"I know this is HARD to believe, but I had set up a FAILSAFE in case ANYTHING happened to ME," D-Kyofu explained.
"Did you...did you transfer your mind into D?" Y asked.
"Yes, EXACTLY," D-Kyofu confirmed, smiling widely. "A gold star for YOU, Y!"
The news made the psychics sans B uncomfortable. If Kyofu could take over D's body, did that mean he could do the same to theirs too?
"Now, before we begin, I want to introduce you to your remaining teammates," D-Kyofu said and she looked at B, giving him a nod.
"Gentlemen, please come in," B commanded and the door opened. The first to step inside was Weapon W who was still in his Agito form.
"This is Weapon W," D-Kyofu introduced. "He was one of MY earliest attempts at creating an Agito. Unfortunately, W can no longer return to human form."
"What's with the collar?" Rintaro asked curiously, pointing to the collar around W's neck.
"The professor had that put on him as a precaution. It is also why Professor Kyofu put him in stasis," B said cryptically.
"OK, but is there anyone else?" Sado asked. "You mentioned teammates."
"Huh?... What's that sound? Is food talking?" a voice echoed all around them when a swarm of insects suddenly flew from every corner of the room and gathered in the centre of the table. Kirihara shrieked as she recoiled from the disgusting insect swarm. The swarm soon merged into a humanoid shape and Weapon G stood on top of the table with his arms spread to the side.
He was skinny with a pasty complexion, piercing red eyes and long and greasy green hair. White bandages were wrapped around his forearms. He wore a black T-shirt with 'BTS' on it and the white gakuran uniform was tied around his waist. Finally, he wore blue jeans and brown sneakers. He leaned down hungrily at Kirihara, his grin as wide as a crocodile's, with drool dripping from his mouth.
"...There's a nice smell coming from you... kweehehehehehehehe!" he cackled.
"H-hey, get the hell away from me, you freak!" Kirihara shrieked as she backed away from him.
"Weapon G was also part of my earlier experiments in enhancing psychic powers," D-Kyofu explained. "He possesses the power to control insects and can also transform into an insect-like swarm that can break down matter. There were unfortunate side effects, however, as he now has an uncontrollable hunger that drives him mad."
"Yeah, and after being put on ice for so long, I'm famished!" Weapon G licked his lips.
"Sorry buddy, I'll give you indigestion so you better watch yourself!" Kirihara recoiled in disgust. Bugs were so gross and this guy could literally turn himself into a swarm of creepy-crawlies. Why couldn't he be a hot guy?
"It's a pity, he used to be a devilishly handsome young man before as well. Popular with women too," B spoke as if to answer her question.
"I don't see it," Sado admitted. "But he should be able to get along with Rintaro; for they're both psychopaths." Rintaro waved his middle finger at her in response but she ignored him.
"So what's the plan? How are we going to break Professor Kyofu - I mean your body - and the others out?" Kirihara asked, still keeping her distance from G. "In case you haven't noticed, even with the new additions we're a bit undermanned."
"BLACK 13 and the NUMBERS may have us outnumbered, but we still have the advantage," D-Kyofu said confidently as she gestured to Weapon W. "W will be vital for this mission."
"Oh, what can he do?" Kirihara challenged. "I mean, he looks tough but what exactly is his special power?"
"Something that can tip the balance of powers in our favour," B promised.
Following the debrief, Shinichi sat in the lounge with his brides. They had stayed the night, waiting for Shinichi to recover. Once he was finished with the debrief, Shinichi asked them to come to meet in the lounge so they could talk.
He told them about his first fight with D, then when he was summoned to Hinamizawa to fix all the damage caused by Alpha Force. After that, he informed them of his plan to expose Kyofu by gathering evidence on him. Finally, he told them how they captured most of Alpha Force and Kyofu.
"And that's basically everything," Shinichi finished.
"So, what's Kyofu's beef with you?" Satan asked. As far as they knew, Kyofu was the founder of the Brain Trust Society and also one of the biggest objectors of the NEO-NUMBERS.
"It's not with me, exactly, it's with Gebok. I was just the most convenient target for his grudge," Shinichi answered.
"Gebok? But if he's got a grudge against Gebok, then why is he coming after you?" Shawna asked. "I don't understand."
"Back in GIN-SHOCKER, Gebok and Kyofu had a rivalry going on. Gebok focused more on cybernetics and genetic alteration while Kyofu wanted to prove psychic power was superior to artificial augmentations. Kyofu's proposal was rejected so that Project NUMBERS could be approved. Since Gebok isn't around anymore, and I was his greatest creation, Kyofu decided to target me for his revenge instead," Shinichi explained.
"'The sins of the father are to be laid upon the children'," Tsukuyomi quoted.
"Exactly," Shinichi sadly agreed.
"But that's not fair, Shin-kun!" Rena cried. "Why must this always happen to you?"
"I've got a lot of baggage from my past, Rena-chan. It comes from having a life like mine."
"But after everything, don't you think you deserve to be happy?"
"I do, but I don't think the universe feels the same way."
"Ms. Rena, Sir Shinichi is a hero, and it's his responsibility to protect the world from evil," Shawna stated, trying to be supportive.
"But he doesn't have to be a hero!" Rena cried. "Not anymore! He got his revenge! He got justice! Why does he still need to fight!?" She shed tears. "Why can't the world just leave us alone and let us be happy? Why is it so hard for us to just have a normal life!?"
Shinichi put an arm around Rena and held her close.
Why indeed?
It was in the middle of the night when the Brain Trust Society decided to make its move. Weapon B stood on top of their HQ's rooftop, gazing up at the night sky with his arms folded across his chest.
"Weapon B, the time is now," D-Kyofu ordered telepathically. "You know what to do."
"Yes, sir. Time to bring it down," B obeyed as he put his hands together as if he were praying. A light shone from his lower abdominal area and his platinum Alter Ring belt materialised.
"Henshin." He put his hands against the side buttons and pressed them.
A light flashed from his belt and he transformed into his Agito form. As the Agito of Technology, he wore a black bodysuit that was covered in neon blue meridians. His armour was platinum with a glowing platinum stone in the middle of his chest. His helmet had blue eyes and his crest horns were connected at the tip, forming a halo-like ring. Hanging from his back was a blue cape.
Agito Technos' eyes glowed as he reached up to the sky. The Mark of Agito appeared below him as his cape spread into a pair of glowing blue butterfly wings. The insides of his wings had eye patterns with glowing circuitry lines stretching from them.
Shinichi's quarters were equipped with a large enough bed that could be occupied by him and his harem. Since they were adhering to Genovian wedding customs, there was no sex engaged. So, instead, they all piled on Shinichi as he slept in bed. It felt nice to be surrounded by the women he loved.
All of a sudden, an alarm went off in the room.
"Alert! Our satellite is being tampered with!" Sheila announced the minute she appeared on the screen. The alert woke everyone up as they jumped up from their sleep.
"Our satellite? How? What's going on?" Shinichi asked as he came to the screen.
"I'll bring it up onscreen," Sheila said and the screen displayed the view of their satellite's built-in cameras. It showed another satellite with mechanical arms tearing into the Hive Satellite. Shinichi spotted the letters 'BTS' on the enemy satellite.
"Damn it," Shinichi cursed. He hated being right. Even without Kyofu, the BTS was still out to get them. "Sheila, call the team."
"...What's going on?" Satan questioned, annoyed to have her sleep disturbed.
"Sorry, girls," Shinichi apologized as he got dressed. "It seems we have an emergency."
"Do you need to go, Darling?" Lum asked, yawning.
"I gotta," Shinichi answered and he noticed Rena's frown.
"Please, just come back safe, alright, Shin-kun?" Rena requested.
"Don't worry," Shinichi assured them. "I'll be right back."
The NEO-NUMBERS were gathered in the control room and none of them was happy with having their sleep disturbed.
"Looks like the BTS still wants to mess with us," Shogo said as the screen showed their satellite being torn apart by the BTS satellite.
"So, Kyofu's people are trying to fuck up our satellite?" Daichi questioned, fists clenching.
"Yes, and if it takes any more damage, it'll drop out of orbit and crash right into the village," Shinichi answered.
"I mean, I know that's bad, but can't you just fix the village like always?" Yokoshima asked.
"I'd rather not have a satellite crash into my village, Yoko," Shinichi retorted. "For now, our satellite is holding on since it has built-in defences but if we want to save it we need to move now."
"OK, but how are we supposed to get to it?" Michiru asked. "It's in space."
"We have a ship," Chiaki said. All eyes turned to him for an explanation. "When Lum first crash-landed, Shinichi asked me to fix up her ship. I finished the repairs some time ago and it should be good to go."
The NEO-NUMBERS went down to the vehicle bay to see their spaceship.
"We have a spaceship!" Yokoshima cheered, pumping his fists. Lum's ship had not only been repaired but had gone through extensive modifications as well. It had a sleek blue body and a cockpit canopy that resembled big yellow compound eyes. Instead of landing gears, the ship stood on six insectoid legs.
"Why does it look like a bug?" Hana asked.
"It fits our theme," Chiaki answered. Stopping to think about it for a moment, Hana could not fault him for his reasoning.
"Alright, guys. Get in and prepare to launch," Shinichi said. The airstair for the ship flipped out from under its body, allowing the team entry. Shinichi was the last to board and he took the seat beside Michiru who was the team's pilot. "Think you can fly this thing?"
"I've clocked in countless hours in ARMOR's flight simulator, Shin," Michiru claimed as she took the controls. "You've got nothing to worry about."
"...You did at least figure out the landing part, right?"
"Just shut up and tell me where to fly."
Shinichi nodded and looked over his shoulder to see everyone else was buckled in. Turning to face forward, his eyes glowed as he opened a portal big enough for their ship. Michiru began to flip the switches to engage the engine. The ship lifted off the ground as the landing gear legs folded and retracted into the body.
"Engines are hot and ready to fly," Michiru said as she checked the gauges. Several screens showed the status of their shields and weapons. "Shields are up, weapons are online."
"Engage," Shinichi ordered and Michiru launched the Bug Ship through the portal.
The portal brought the Bug Ship into space and they could see the BTS satellite ravaging their own. The satellite's defence system was engaged as the laser guns fired upon the aggressor but the BTS satellite was able to shrug off the shots before destroying the weapons.
"OK, now that is just wrong," Chiaki grimaced as he watched their beautiful satellite being torn to pieces.
"Then let's smash that thing to pieces," Daichi growled eagerly.
"Transform and engage," Shinichi ordered. "Henshin!"
"Henshin!"
The team transformed and unbuckled themselves from their seats. The autopilot was engaged.
"Grab a jetpack," Slasher instructed and they each grabbed one from the wall and put them on, save for Blue Beetle, Showa and Carmen. The team headed on over to the airlock and opened the door to exit the ship. Activating their jetpacks, they flew out and began their attack on the BTS satellite.
"Focus your attacks on the enemy satellite and try not to destroy ours!" Showa ordered as he summoned his Chrono Sabers.
"No promises, Shin!" Musician yelled back.
From where he stood, Agito Technos was connected to the BTS Satellite and could see the NEO-NUMBERS had arrived to stop it.
"Sir, the NUMBERS are currently engaging our satellite," Agito Technos reported to D-Kyofu.
"GOOD, B. Very good. Now, make sure they NEVER make it back to Earth alive," D-Kyofu instructed.
"Understood, sir."
The NEO-NUMBERS swarmed the BTS satellite and attacked it ferociously. Meanwhile, Slasher was trying to do some emergency repairs on their satellite to prevent it from falling out of orbit.
"What is this fucking made of?" Musician demanded as his punches were barely making a dent in the evil satellite's body.
"Must be old GIN-SHOCKER tech Kyofu got his hands on," Arachnea suggested.
A part of the BTS satellite opened and a giant laser cannon emerged. Blue Beetle saw this and his helmet's HUD instantly sent him an analysis of the weapon.
Conclusion: DODGE!
"Shit! Scatter!" Blue Beetle yelled as the giant laser cannon fired. A red beam shot out of it and nearly hit them if they had not dispersed. It did, however, blast off one of the Hive Satellite's solar panel wings.
"I was fixing that!" Slasher yelled as he managed to avoid being blasted away.
"Shinichi, I hate to rush you, but how about you go God Mode and finish this thing now?" Musician asked.
"We need another phrase for that, but..." Showa frowned as he stood straight. "Legacy-!"
"I would not recommend it, BLACK 13," a voice echoed in all their minds. All eyes turned to the source of the voice and they spotted Agito Technos standing on the body of the BTS satellite with his hands behind his back. "Oh, and if you think you may return to Earth..." He raised his hand slowly and the Bug Ship began to levitate. He then clenched his hand into a fist, causing the Bug Ship to explode.
"My work!" Slasher screamed. He had spent months fixing that ship, and now it was gone.
Showa's eyes narrowed at Agito Technos.
"Who are you?" Showa questioned.
"I am Professor Kyofu's right-hand man, Weapon B," Agito Technos introduced himself. "But you may call me 'Technos' in this form."
"By the sound of that name, I'm assuming you're a technopath," Showa inquired.
"A sound conclusion and also an accurate one," Technos confirmed.
"So, is this payback for what we did to your gang?" Musician demanded.
"I was given orders by Professor Kyofu to destroy you," Technos answered.
"But isn't Kyofu locked up and on ice?" Blue Beetle asked, confused.
"Megan said that his consciousness wasn't present in his body. That means Kyofu managed to transfer his mind into a new one," Showa explained.
"Correct," Technos confirmed. "You cannot destroy Professor Kyofu. As long as there is a body he can inhabit, he will continue to live on."
"Well, that's not creepy at all," Arachnea snarked.
"So, he sent you to destroy us, by yourself?" Musician scoffed. "What makes you think you can?" Technos snapped his fingers and multiple laser cannons popped out of the body of the BTS satellite, along with numerous missile pods. "...OK, good argument."
The satellite's weapons strafed the NEO-NUMBERS, sending them scattering to avoid its payload. Using their jetpacks, they tried to outrun the lasers and missiles.
"Zero! Missiles!" Showa ordered and the Hornet Rider fired his stinger blasts which hit the missiles, destroying them. "Michiru, do something about the lasers!"
"I'm on it!" Carmen responded as she cast a shield spell, blocking the lasers.
"Everyone, disable the satellite's weaponry," Showa ordered. "Break shit up!"
"Right!" Musician and the others flew at the BTS satellite. With Carmen's shields protecting them, the firepower did nothing to stop them. Landing near the weapons, they proceeded to destroy them. Zero destroyed the laser guns with his stinger blasts while Slasher went to work dismantling the missile pods.
At the same time, Showa decided to engage Technow mano a mano. The Agito of Technology fired plasma energy beams from his hands but Showa warped away to dodge them. He shot forward, only to be struck by a beam fired from Technos' helmet crest. He was thrown backwards but he managed to land on his feet.
"Where's Kyofu!?" Showa demanded.
"He is still your prisoner," Technos answered.
"You know what I mean! Whose body is he possessing!?"
"That's classified."
Showa was about to charge at Technos again when a pair of giant mechanical arms emerged from the BTS satellite and swung forward to grab him. He dodged them and then sliced off the hands with his Chrono Sabers. Technos' Alter Ring flashed before he reached inside of it, pulling out a twin-bladed sword that was decorated with circuitry patterns. The curved blades glowed with blue and platinum energy as he brandished his weapon.
Showa swung at Technos with his swords but he parried the blades before he went to deliver a slash. Showa backflipped before he ejected his Void Wings and shot straight at Technos. The Agito of Technology fired plasma beams at him but Showa deflected them before he slashed Technos, knocking him back. He regained his footing with his magnetised boots before firing a barrage of plasma blasts at Showa. However, none of his blasts connected as Showa warped in and out of reality before reappearing right in front of him to deliver a kick to his chest.
Technos flipped backwards from the blow but managed to land on his feet again as Showa came charging at him again. He twirled his weapon, blocking Showa's attacks before countering with his own, firing plasma beams between each swing of his twin-bladed sword. Showa deflected the beams and blocked the slashes before he spun and delivered a reverse roundhouse, striking Technos in the face and sending him skidding backwards.
Technos gripped the handle of his twin-bladed weapon and then snapped it in half, the two blades now connected by a chain of energy. He swung the blade-chucks around rapidly and furiously slashed Showa with them. He jumped up as Showa fired a beam at him and then shot one of the blades at Showa, hitting him in the shoulder. He followed up with a series of strikes, slashing Showa repeatedly across the chest. Showa dismissed his swords, caught Technos' blade and then spun around and around before tossing him into space. The Agito of Technology pulled himself back to the satellite and stuck his feet to the surface, keeping a firm grip on it.
Despite Kyofu's attempts to downplay Showa's skill, B knew that the Rider was a huge threat to their plans. His combat skills were exceptional and that meant he needed to be destroyed. Fighting him one-on-one would not yield any favourable results so it was time to switch tactics.
"I control technology," Technos claimed.
"Yeah, we got that already," Showa rolled his eyes. Why did Technos deem it necessary to repeat that?
"But you fail to comprehend what that means," Technos said as his eyes glowed. All of a sudden, Showa was shot from behind, knocking him forward. He spun around and his eyes widened when he saw who it was that attacked him.
"Shogo!?"
That was not the only surprise as Musician, Arachnea and Slasher suddenly flew straight at him. The Tarantula Cyborg slashed him with her Spider-Kama, causing him to stagger back. Musician then came and struck him with his Cricket Fork but he blocked it with his swords, leaving him open for Slasher to strike him from behind with his chainsaws. Sparks flew from the strike as Showa screamed, breaking his concentration and allowing Musician to break through his defence.
"Your bodies have been augmented with technology, which I can manipulate. I was unable to do it previously at such a far range during our second assault since I wasn't at full power. Oddly, I can't do the same to you, but it doesn't matter. I know you won't hurt your team. Not again." Technos chuckled sinisterly.
"Guys, snap out of it! Guys!" Showa pleaded as he dodged and blocked their attacks.
Trapped in their suits, Hana, Daichi, Chiaki and Shogo were powerless to do anything. Their motor functions had been hijacked by Technos and they could not even use their comms thanks to the Agito turning them off.
"Shinichi!" Daichi yelled in his helmet but his voice failed to project due to his comms being disabled. He hated this! He hated being made into a puppet! Technos was going to pay for this!
Slasher swung at Showa and he blocked with his Chrono Sabers, sparks flying as the teeth of the chainsaws ground against his blades before he pushed back. Arachnea slashed him from behind and he stumbled forwards, right into Musician's Cricket Fork which jabbed him in the stomach. As he staggered back, he was bombarded by Zero's Stinger Blasts.
Showa could have frozen time to stop his friends, but that would require focus. With them attacking him relentlessly, he did not even have a moment to breathe.
Technos observed as his puppets attacked BLACK 13. With how much he cared for them, he would be unwilling to harm them and hold back when defending himself. It almost seemed karmic. BLACK 13 had killed them in the past so now it was their turn to kill him.
Only two other NEO-NUMBERS were not under Technos' control: Blue Beetle and Carmen Chaotica.
"Why are they attacking Shin?" Blue Beetle wondered as he watched their comrades attacking Showa. His Scarab beeped, giving him the answer. "Huh? 'He's controlling them'?"
"Duh, he can control machines! And that includes us!" Carmen realised, pointing at Technos.
"Michiru, take care of the satellites! I'm gonna go save our friends!" Blue Beetle's thrusters activated, sending him flying towards their friends.
Sparks flew as Showa blocked and parried his comrades' relentless onslaught. He deflected Musician's Cricket Fork and Arachea's Spider-Kama before he countered Slasher's chainsaws, knocking them back. This left him open for Zero to pepper him with energy stingers. He warped out of the way, but Arachnea came at him again and swung her Spider-Kana. Using his Chrono Sabers, he blocked her scythe blades but she followed up with a flurry of strikes, seemingly dancing in space before she managed to break through his defence and knock him backwards with a kick. He flew into Musician's path and the latter struck with his vibrating Cricket Fork. As he tumbled through space, he was bombarded by Zero's Stinger Blasts.
"Come on, guys! You gotta snap out of it!" Showa yelled as he righted himself with his wings but they could not hear him. Instead, they flew straight at Showa to attack him once more.
Technos observed the battle with arms crossed. His orders were to distract the NEO-NUMBERS, but this could be his chance to get rid of them once and for all. The ring-shaped crest on his helmet glowed and he prepared to unleash his attack.
As he was about to fire, he sensed an attack coming at him and quickly formed a barrier made out of digital code. He was bombarded by multiple missiles which nearly knocked him off the satellite. Dropping his shield, he saw Blue Beetle floating in front of him with large missile pods mounted on his shoulders.
"Oh, it's the slow one," Technos frowned as he saw who it was. "Why can't I control you?" He was more curious than furious. His power allowed him to control all manner of technology, including cybernetics, but it would appear that Shinichi, Michiru and Yokoshima were the exceptions.
"Oh, coz my suit's made with alien tech," Blue Beetle claimed proudly. "So, you have no idea how it works. Heck, I don't know how it works."
"Alien technology..." Technos mused. "Then perhaps I will need a closer look." He fired at Blue Beetle with his crest ring. Instantly, Blue Beetle blocked it with a shield that grew out of his right arm. Activating his thrusters, he flung himself at Technos to deliver a punch but the Agito leapt backwards, with his hands behind his back.
"Let my friends go!" Blue Beetle shouted as he lunged at Technos who blocked him with his digital shield. The missile pods fired and the missiles curved, aiming for Technos' back but he formed another shield behind him to protect himself. Blue Beetle pulled back and flew up to fire at Technos from above, but the missiles hit another digital shield. "Stop hiding behind your shields, you damn shisno!"
Technos dropped his shield and spread his wings. The eyes on the inside of them glowed and fired multiple plasma blasts at Blue Beetle. He bobbed and weaved between the blasts to avoid them, but there were too many for him to evade and he was eventually bombarded. He cried out in pain as his Scarab reported he was sustaining damage.
"Duh, I know that! Just hang on!" Blue Beetle shouted as he powered through the laser blasts to reach Technos. He finally managed to cross the distance and threw a punch, only to hit Technos' shield again. "C'mon! Shields again!?"
"You do realise the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result, correct?" Technos asked.
"Yeah, but I've been told I'm too dumb to care!" Blue Beetle snapped as digital code scrolled across his visor. "Gotcha!" The digital code that made up Technos' shield broke down and Blue Beetle's fist connected with the Agito's face, knocking him back. "Hah! How's that for insanity!?"
"Pitiful," Agito Technos retorted and fired his head beam, prompting Blue Beetle to block with his forearms. Technos teleported behind Blue Beetle and grabbed hold of his backpack. Upon contact, red circuitry lines spread from the Agito's hands and ran across Blue Beetle's body. "Now, you're mine!"
"Hey, don't touch that!" Blue Beetle yelled.
Meanwhile, Showa was still defending himself against his friends' assault without trying to hurt them. He did not want to risk injuring them, even though they appeared dead set on trying to injure him. They were not making it easy for him, however.
That was when Carmen Chaotica came to save his ass. Conjuring pink energy chains, she quickly bound Slasher, Arachnea, Zero and Musician up. The cyborgs struggled to break free, but Carmen made sure that her magical chains were unbreakable.
"Thanks, Michiru," Showa said gratefully. "Think you can hold them?"
"No problem," Carmen smiled as she watched Arachnea frantically try to break free. "This isn't mind control, is it?"
"No, that asshole took control of their cybernetics and hijacked their motor functions," Showa groused. "And I don't know how to fix it."
"Don't worry," Carmen assured him. "Yokoshima's taking care of that."
"...This was not what I was expecting,"
Technos found himself standing in the middle of a farm and surrounded by miniature versions of Sprinkles acting like chickens.
He had attempted to force a connection with Yokoshimas' armour and take control of him, but it would seem he had entered the cyborg's subconscious instead.
"The armour must have a deep neural connection with his brain," Technos concluded logically.
The Mini Sprinkles soon noticed Technos' presence and responded.
"Intruder alert!"
"Danger! Danger!"
"Open fire!"
"Exterminate!"
They began to open fire upon him but Technos was not threatened. Instead, he was annoyed as each hit felt more like mosquito bites. He began to kick the Mini Sprinkles away, knocking them on their backs as they flailed helplessly.
"Mech down! Mech down!"
"I have fallen and cannot get up!"
"Error! Error!"
"This is so absurd," Technos grumbled as he walked away from the Mini Sprinkles. "There has to be something here to represent the main control unit. If I can find it, then this power will be all mine."
"You won't find that here," Yokoshima said as he appeared before Technos, setting a Sprinkles back on its feet.
"Then you shall take me to it," Technos demanded as he strode towards Yokoshima but then he felt the ground rumble. He stopped, looking around for the source. "What is that? What is going on here?"
"He doesn't like intruders," Yokoshima informed him as he closed his eyes before he opened them, revealing their glowing red hue. "And intruders will be destroyed."
The sky turned black and countless stars appeared in the sky. Then, something emerged from behind Yokoshima and Technos' eyes widened. It was a gigantic beetle-shaped machine that towered over the two of them. He could sense what it was too. This was the thing that controlled Yokoshima's armour.
"Fool, you've just given me the keys to take control!" Technos flew up and landed on top of the beetle mech. He put his hands on its head to force a connection. "Now, obey me!"
Unfortunately, that did not happen as he felt resistance coming from the giant Scarab before receiving a burst of alien information that surged through his brain.
What was this!? What was this!? It did not make sense! He could not comprehend it, he could not...he could not...!
"AAAARRRGGGHHHHHHH!"
Technos screamed as he recoiled from Blue Beetle, releasing his grip on the Scarab.
"What...what was that...?" he questioned, unable to fathom what he had just witnessed. "How in the world can you control something so...immense?"
"Oh, I don't control the Scarab," Blue Beetle informed him. "We work together, like a team. Ain't that right, Scarab?" He received a few beeps in response. "I love you too, buddy."
"A fool like you doesn't deserve that power," Technos growled. "You do not comprehend what it's capable of."
"Oh, I know what it's capable of," Blue Beetle retorted. "It lets me protect my friends and my home...And it also makes a pretty good distraction."
Technos looked puzzled for a moment before he realised what Blue Beetle was implying. Whirling around, he found Showa, Carmen and the previously puppeteered NEO-NUMBERS all coming straight at him to unleash their wrath.
Zero bombarded him with Stinger blasts and he raised his shield to block. When Arachnea and Slasher came at him from another direction, he raised another shield to stop them. Showa came at him from his unprotected side and Technos raised a third shield. Musician and Carmen came at him too and he raised a fourth shield to protect himself. Finally, Blue Beetle attacked from above, prompting Technos to cover himself with a fifth shield, boxing himself in.
As the NEO-NUMBERS bashed his shields relentlessly, Technos found himself buckling under the pressure. Gritting his teeth, he tried to raise the power of his shields only to fail as they all shattered. Left with no defences, the NEO-NUMBERS struck Technos violently, sending him tumbling roughly across the surface of the BTS satellite. A mechanical arm on the satellite quickly snatched him out of the air before he ended up pulled down by Earth's gravity.
"How...how were you able to regain control?" Technos questioned in disbelief.
"I just broke your connection with their cybernetics and they took care of the rest," Carmen claimed.
"But you're not a technopath!" Technos spat.
"No, but I am a witch and you just pissed this witch off," Carmen growled.
"And payback's a witch," Blue Beetle quipped.
"You're outnumbered and outmatched, Weapon B," Showa stated. "Surrender."
"No, I shall not. Perhaps it's time I stopped holding back as well," Technos decided. His cape came apart, revealing it to be hair-thin wires that were interwoven together. The wires stretched from his body, entering the bodies of both satellites, fusing with their circuitry.
"No, you don't!" Showa shouted as he and his team went to stop Technos, only to be barred by the BTS satellites' mechanical arms.
The two satellites began to merge as parts shifted, forcing the NEO-NUMBERS to fall back and witness their precious satellite being consumed before their eyes.
Once the forced merger was finished, they found themselves facing a mechanical abomination. It had a long serpentine body with each segment connected via wires. On each segment was a large pair of draconic wings that were made from solar panels. Each section also sported a long pair of arms which ended in sharp metal claws. Finally, it had a draconic head with frills made out of solar panels. When it roared, it opened its bifurcated jaw into four sections, revealing rows and rows of sharp teeth.
Deep inside the heart of the mechanical abomination was Agito Technos who had merged with the creature. All that remained of him was his head with wires connecting him to the rest of the Mecha-Kaiju.
"YOU WILL ALL BE SCRAPPED!" Mecha-Kaiju Technos roared at the NEO-NUMBERS.
"Shit, he turned himself into a Robeast!" Blue Beetle yelled. Everyone stared at him quizzically. "Don't tell me you've never seen Voltron!"
"I prefer the original Go-Lion," Carmen stated.
"And I prefer we SCATTER!" Musician shouted as Mecha-Kaiju Technos unleashed a massive plasma laser array from all of its arms. The team scattered frantically to avoid the laser beams as they were fired in all directions. Acting quickly, Showa used his warp portals to take his comrades to safety while warping himself away.
The warp portals dropped the team a good distance away from the Mecha-Kaiju as Showa reappeared with them.
"OK, so he's combined with both satellites," Showa observed. "And now he can spam lasers like no tomorrow."
"Do you think we can still save ours?" Blue Beetle asked.
"At this point, it's doubtful," Arachnea answered. "Unless Shinichi uses his time magic."
"First, we need to take out Weapon B and then we can talk about fixing our satellite," Showa replied.
"Now, that's a plan I can get behind," Musician grinned viciously.
Mecha-Kaiju Technos opened its jaw wide to reveal a massive cannon. Charging up its weapon, it fired a huge plasma beam at the team. They would have been completely vaporised if Carmen had not protected them with a flower-shaped shield. The shield shook as Carmen tried to keep it up, straining against the power of the beam.
"I can't hold it for long, Shin! If you're gonna do something, do it now!" she yelled.
"Legacy Ride: Showa!" Showa called out and his body shone with a golden light. Apparitions of the Showa Riders appeared around him before they merged with his body, allowing him to access Showa Legacy!
Spreading his Void Wings, he took off towards Mecha-Kaiju Technos. The Mecha Kaiju saw him coming and fired all its lasers but Showa dodged and weaved between Technos' beam spam before he summoned his Chrono Sabers again. As he got closer, he accelerated and burst through the body of the Mecha-Kaiju, slicing it in half.
It would appear that Showa Legacy was able to defeat the Mecha-Kaiju but that was until the wires of both halves reconnected and pulled the beast's two halves back together. With a furious roar, the Mecha-Kaiju fired its lasers which curved through space as they homed in on Showa Legacy. Flying away, he zigzagged through space to avoid them, waiting for the lasers to dissipate.
"Need to take those out," Showa Legacy mused as he looked at all of the Mecha-Kaiju's arms. The ZX and Stronger Masks on his chest glowed and gave them his power. "Electro Cross Shuriken!"
Showa threw a flurry of Cross Shurikens and they flew through space, homing in on the mechanical arms. Upon hitting their targets, they shorted out the arms before exploding, taking out the Mecha-Kaiju's limbs. Technos roared in agony and fired its Plasma Cannon. Instead of dodging, Showa Legacy flew straight at the beam. Accessing the power of Roborider, his armour's defence rose, allowing him to power through the beam unharmed as he forced his way through. Once the cannon exhausted its discharge, he used Biorider's power to turn into liquid form and flew into the Mecha-Kaiju's mouth.
As a fluid, Showa Legacy's body flowed through the inside of the Mecha-Kaiju until he reached the core. Once he arrived at his destination, he reformed in the heart of the beast and found the real Technos, reduced to a head with wires coming out of it that connected him to the entire creature.
"Have you lost weight?" Showa Legacy joked.
"You were a fool to come in here, BLACK 13. In here, I control everything!" Technos boasted as his eyes flashed. A large mechanical tentacle with a pincer claw at the tip shot straight towards Showa Legacy to grab him but he jumped and delivered a roundhouse kick, destroying it in one hit. Seeing this, Technos summoned more mechanical limbs to attack but Showa Legacy effortlessly destroyed them with punches and kicks.
As Technos continued to send mechanical claws to attack Showa Legacy, the Rider kept destroying them, causing the technopath to grow desperate. While he might be all-powerful within the beast, he was also at his most vulnerable.
Technos fired from his head crest at Showa Legacy. The beam struck the Rider and bounced off. The deflected beam swept across the floor, leaving a smoking and scorched trench. As for Showa Legacy, he did not have a mark on him. Showa Legacy began walking towards the Agito who repeatedly fired upon him to stop him from getting closer. Showa Legacy just shrugged off the blasts as they hit him, coming closer and closer to Technos with each step.
"Why don't you try something stronger?" Showa Legacy taunted before he took another blast to the chest. "Nearly felt that one."
Cables suddenly struck like snakes and ensnared his wrists and ankles before they pulled him off the floor. Technos then willed the cables to give the Rider the greatest electrical shock of his life. He listened as Showa Legacy screamed from being electrocuted.
"Any last words?" Technos challenged.
"Lum zaps me harder than that while we're in bed," Showa Legacy confessed unabashedly, causing Technos to recoil in disgust.
Seeing as his attacks were not working, Technos began charging up his most powerful blast to destroy his enemy for good. This would be a costly mistake. Suddenly, the cables holding Showa Legacy were frozen solid before they shattered, freeing him.
"Vortech Shooter!" Showa Legacy summoned Roborider's signature firearm and fired a shot that hit Technos' head crest, destroying it.
"AAAARRRRGGGGHHH!" Technos screamed as his head crest was destroyed.
"It's over, B! You can't beat us! You made the mistake of trying to threaten us but you miscalculated! Now, you're going to lose!" Showa Legacy declared.
"IF I CAN'T DESTROY YOU, THEN I'LL JUST DESTROY YOUR PRECIOUS VILLAGE AGAIN!"
Meanwhile, as Showa Legacy attacked the Mecha-Kaiju from within, the rest of the NEO-NUMBERS attacked it from outside. The Mecha-Kaiju had just finished regenerating its damaged limbs and was now using them to fire upon the NEO-NUMBERS. The NEO-NUMBERS safely weaved between the beams, protected by Carmen's shield spell while she conjured decoy clones of her team to divert the lasers too.
Once they landed on the Mecha-Kaiju's body, they immediately got to work. Slasher, Arachnea and Carmen began cutting off the limbs with their weapons. At the same time, Musician pierced its body with his Cricket Fork and sent a burst of sound through its hull. Soundwaves may not be able to travel through a vacuum but they could easily travel through the creature's mechanical body. Zero bombarded the Mecha-Kaiju with stinger blasts, causing explosions to erupt across its body. Finally, Blue Beetle formed a massive cannon from his chest and fired a charged particle beam that swept across the Mecha-Kaiju's body, tearing off chunks.
Like before, it regenerated, undoing any damage it had sustained. However, it seemed to be a lot slower this time. While it was regenerating, it angled its head and opened its mouth to engage its primary weapon.
Blue Beetle's Scarab calculated the trajectory and it showed him the results.
"It's gonna blast the village!" Blue Beetle alerted everyone.
"Then let's not let it!" Musician yelled as he powered his jetpack's thrusters. The others followed and they pushed against the Mecha-Kaiju's head so that it would point away from Earth. It was putting up a fight but they were not going to give up and let it destroy the village again.
"Guys, I'm gonna try something!" Blue Beetle shouted, as both his arms started to shine. He roared as his arms expanded into jumbo-size limbs. He grabbed the Mecha-Kaiju's head in a giant chokehold. He wrestled with the Mecha-Kaiju as it struggled to break out of his grip but he tightened his hold as he pulled the Mecha-Kaiju's head away from Earth. As it was about to fire its plasma cannon, Blue Beetle twisted its head clean off.
"Time to short your circuits! ELECTRO FIRE!" Showa Legacy slammed his palms on the floor, sending a surge of electricity that spread across the room. Technos screamed as he was violently struck by the intense power surge which fried his wires.
"T-t-t-t-THIS! C-c-c-CAN'T B-b-b-BE!" Technos yelled while he twitched and spasmed.
"Yes, it is!" Showa Legacy jumped and the spirits of Kamen Rider Nigo and Kamen Rider J appeared beside him to deliver the finishing move with him. "Jumbo...Rider...PUNCH!"
Suddenly, The NEO-NUMBERS witnessed a giant fist burst out of the Mecha-Kaiju's body and they all pulled away to get to a safe distance. A series of explosions went off as Showa Legacy emerged, with his gigantic fist balled.
"Heh, show off as always," Musician remarked as Showa Legacy flew back to them.
"What's in your hand?" Blue Beetle asked.
"How about Kyofu's second-in-command?" Showa Legacy offered them.
"You captured Kyofu's pet technopath," Zero stated.
"And you destroyed our satellite," Arachnea deadpanned.
"Easily fixed," Showa Legacy snapped his fingers. All the space debris that used to be their satellite began to gather together before parts that fit together connected. Normally, such damage was irreparable but it was no match for his chronokinetic abilities. In a matter of seconds, their satellite was good as new. At the same time, he erased the space debris that was originally the BTS satellite.
"And as for our ship," Showa Legacy added as he restored their ship, returning it to the state it was before Technos destroyed it. Showa Legacy's wings enlarged and wrapped around his teammates before he warped them back into the ship with their prisoner.
B lay on the floor, completely catatonic.
"Wonder what he looks like," Yokoshima inquired as they looked at his masked face.
"Maybe he's hideous," Hana theorised. "Deformed by Kyofu's experiments."
"Just leave him alone," Shogo said as he took out his C3 and digitised B to hold him in a containment card. Once Weapon B was contained, everyone took their seats.
"Alright, let's go home, guys," Michiru said as she took her seat in the pilot's chair. Shinichi winked and opened a warp portal. "Show-off."
The ship flew into the portal which should take them back home in the blink of an eye.
