Hey there, that's right we are going full front with this one and this time we will be seeing some of the Port Mafia members from Bungo Stray Dogs. I wanted to play with Bungo Stray Dogs because this way is easier than just write another story, also one of the original ideas for this story was Tanjiro being teleported to the Hero Academia DxD world where Rias would be torn between choosing him or Izuku. I changed my mind when I decided to core of other people stories and that crossover has a ton of problem for me and Izuku gets a lot of kiss ass, which honestly pisses me off. Ok.

Also, Issei is going to be around but Rias will be more drawn to Tanjiro because of his good deeds. Say what you will about Issei, but guys he is the protagonist of a harem series, he can be the most bland guy in the world and he would get those girls. While Tanjiro is way more believable.

One thing that I want to make people know. This story takes place BEFORE Mugen Train, so Rengoku is still alive. I want him to be alive so things to be excited. This takes place like after the end of season 1 and mid of season two, I don't remember in my head but there is a time skip between season, I think a few months or so. Yes, I wanted to make this part clear. Don't worry, in the end there will be some DxD parts that will make you all feel better. Thank you all and have a nice story.

Tanjiro was helping this girl named Iguchi carry out these boxes. He thought it might be some stuff like oranges or some other stuff. Tanjiro was just being his usual good boy like usual.

''So why are you carrying these boxes?" Asked Tanjiro.

''Oh I was tasked by my…association to take this boxes to our meeting place, but it turned out to be heavier than I expected.'' Said her.

''Its ok, I used to lift heavy things like this all the time.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Wow thanks kid, you are really life saver.'' Said her.

The woman seemed like someone you wouldn't mind, but Tanjiro felt a bit odd with her. He felt safe since he had the sword on his waist, which Iguchi didn't seemed to mind.

''She smell like a real person, unlike some of the people of the school. Although why I do sense a little bit of blood on her.'' Thought Tanjiro.

''So you attended Kuoh Academy?'' Asked her seeing the uniform.

''I started today, I am a second year.'' Said Tanjiro

''Oh nice, I graduate there a few years ago and my little sister will start soon. It's a great school.'' Said Higuchi.

''Well I just started and is overall good, although a bit mysterious.'' Said Tanjiro referring to the odd sensation that he felt in that school.

''You will get used to. A place big like that Academy is up to have mysteries in every room, just like Kuoh itself.'' Said Higuchi.

''Oh that's…interesting.'' Said Tanjiro not sure on what she was talking about.

''Sure.'' Said her.

Once they passed some kind shady part of town they arrived on what appeared to be some really abandoned alley. Near that was a place that looked like a house that Tanjiro would have been told to never go inside.

''We´re here.'' Said her.

Inside Tanjiro put the boxes down on the floor and felt the aroma of the surroundings. It had a smell of tension and murder, like someone was killed in this place, which is why he put his hands on his sword just in case.

''What is going on? Is this a trap or something?" Thought Tanjiro.

''Oh Higuchi, you brought the stuff.'' Said a new person arrived.

''Hey there Michizo, yes I got some help with Tanjiro-kun here.'' Said Higuchi.

The newcomer was a young man with spiky rust red hair, a plaster on the bridge of his nose and he was wearing a white shirt and a green jacket.

''A new kid cool, uh why he has a sword?'' Asked Michizo.

''Oh this is just his kendo sword I think. Don't worry. Tanjiro-kun this Michizo Tachihara, he is a nice guy if you know him.'' Said Higuchi.

''Nice to meet you.'' Said Tanjiro bowing.

''So cute.'' Thought Higuchi.

''You must got a lot of trouble handling those things. Last time I did my back hurt a lot.'' Said the guy named Michizo.

''don't worry, it wasn't much I carried way heavier stuff.'' Said Tanjiro.

Then another person walks in the room. This was an older man with gray hair, mustache and short beard. He was wearing some nice suit, gloves and a monocle.

''Oh my what do we have here? Higuchi you didn't told me we were going to have company.'' Said the older man.

''Well Hirostsu I am sorry, but Tanjiro-kun really helped me out. Tanjiro this is Ryuro Hirotsu, he is kind of a old dog in the department that I work.'' Said Higuchi.

''A pleasure to meet you sir.'' Said Tanjiro bowing.

''Nice to meet you too young man, and I have to say pretty polite.'' Said Hirotsu liking this.

Tanjiro was now feeling a bit nervous. He could smell blood and an awfull sense from this man, Higuchi and Michizo also had this sense but it was small compared to him.

''His smells is even worst, if things get more complicated, I might need to attack, but they all look humans. I cant attack humans with my blade, this is against the corps rules, what do I do?" Thoguht Tanjiro in worried tone.

Soon he sensed someone coming from behind.

''Uh?' Asked him.

He turned his left and saw what appeared to be a young woman. With hair tied into a small ponytail but the main thing is that she had bandages all in her mouth area, in the same way Obanai Iguro had.

''Oh sorry, Tanjiro this is Gin Akutagawa. She is the young sister of my supervisor, but she is someone you shouldn't look down.'' Said Higuchi.

The teen just looked at the newcomer with a little bit of a fear instinct.

''She has some mouth problem, so this is why she need to have her mouth protected.'' Said Higuchi.

Tanjiro knew that there was something odd because he could smell blood coming from her, but he need it to be smart.

''Well it's a pleasure to meet you Gin-chan.'' Said Tanjiro bowing.

The mysterious girl just look at the teen with a blank expression, but in her face the bandages were hiding some blush.

''He is cute.'' Thought her.

Then the boxes were open and Michizo took a look on what was inside.

''Hey are those the new communicators?'' Asked him.

''Yes, all in good condition´.'' Said Higuchi.

''Well we have to thanks this young man for his actions.'' Said Hirotsu.

Tanjiro felt that there was some sort of dark aura in this place. It wasn't as bad as a demon, but he knew people could be as cruel as the monster that they can only imagine.

''I need to leave, I feel that I am not welcomed here.'' Said Tanjiro a bit nervous.

''Hey come on man, why is the rush? You just got here.'' Said Michizo with a smile blocking the exit.

''Would like some tea? We have a good selection of snacks too.'' Said Hirotsu with a smile.

''We aren't going to hurt you.'' Said Higuchi with a sweet smile, but it was a fake one.

The group seemed friendly, but Tanjiro knew there was something off about this, so he had to use his last tactic, lying. The problem was Tanjiro was so kind hearted and good that he could not lie to save his life.

''Uh sorry…I…have…some…erradings…to…to…do…in…Anya-sama…house.'' Said him feeling constipation and looking at the ceeling.

The group could only sweat drop in confusion and wonder what that hell was going on with this boy.

''Well whatever you have you better go check with a doctor.'' Said Higuchi confused.

''You look like you are about to have a hernia.'' Said Michizo.

''He looks like he is about to throw up.'' Though Gin.

''Well it was a pleasure to meet you all. I…hope see you all soon.'' Said Tanjiro with a bow as he tries to not sound suspicious.

''This is good to hear.'' Said Michizo.

''Well with a good set of muscles as you we could really need soe help in the future. Your sword could also be helpful too.'' Said Higuchi.

Soon Hirotsu walked toward Tanjiro and took out something from his nice suit and handled towards the boy.

Tanjiro open his hand and saw a huge amount of money, all wrapped in a plastic rubber band.

''Take this.'' Said Hirotsu all simple.

''What!'' Said Tanjiro in shock seeing all this money.

''Take this money as a token of our appreciation.'' Said Hirotsu with a smile.

''Hey where was that cash when I need it some last week!'' Said Michizo all pissed.

''You lost the job. You need it to suffer the consequences.' Said Hirotsu.

''I can't accept this!'' Said Tanjiro handing over the money to the old man.

''Nonsense, you did a job so it's a matter of fact that you receive a reward. That's how society works.'' Said Hirotsu with a simple smile.

Tanjiro knew that this couldn't be clean money or some kind of appreciation. He would dispose of that stuff later.

''Thanks, I appreciate.'' Said Tanjiro bowing.

''Hey what is going on here!'' Said a new voice arriving in the room.

The teen turned around to see a short man, with orange hair wearing some fancy suit and a fedora hat.

''Oh welcome back mister Chuya.'' Said Hirotsu.

''Who is this brat?'' Asked Chuya.

''Uh hi I am Tanjiro Kamado, nice to meet you.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Well Tanjiro Kamado, get out. We don't have time for little fries like you.'' Said Chuya.

''He helped us with the deliver of the new communicators.'' Said Hirotsu.

The short man took a look of Tanjiro and he just look a bit odd while seeing his weird features (scar, earing and sword)

''Uh…I guess you were worthy. Maybe if you do a couple of jobs the boss might let you inn.'' Said Chuya not carrying.

''Well…I don't even know what kind of job this is.'' Said Tanjiro confused

''You should just be glad that you are a naïve kid.'' Said Michizo with a smirk.

''Well I need to keep going.'' Said Tanjiro wanting to leave.

Tanjiro was trying his hardest to not sound desperate or nervous. He just wanted to leave his place and plan something if he need it to slay something.

''These people are not normal. What is going in here? What is the deal with this town?'' Thought Tanjiro worried, this place is more weird than the big city he went with Nezuko and they spotted Muzan. However while lost in thought he bumped into something.

Bump

Tanjiro saw who he bumped and this time he felt a chilled.

''Uh…'' Said Tanjiro worried seeing a young man right in front of him.

The young man had dark hair, a nice suit, but his aura was beyond horrifying. It had a reek of flesh and Tanjiro couldn't sense nothing but darkness and despair coming from him.

''Is he a demon! What kind of killer aura is this?" Thought Tanjiro ready to take off his sword.

''Who are you?'' Said the young man.

''Oh hi Akutagawa-senpai, you came early. Tanjiro meet Ryunosoku Akutagawa, he is one of our biggest employes.'' Said Higuchi with a smile.

Tanjiro just felt just sweat coming down from his forehead, of all these people this man had the most horryign scent that he had witness in this town. If he wasn't alone he could cut his head, but this wasn't a demon because he could see some sunlight touching him and nothing, so he need it to think on what this man is.

''I am leaving.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Goodbye Tanjiro-kun.'' Said Higuchi.

The teen soon left the little room and the group of mafiosos started to talk.

''He is so nice.'' Said Higuchi.

''What kind of stupid stunt was that? Now we are bringing brats from High School in here! We are not some kind of playground! If he comes here again he is dead!'' Said Chuya.

''Well I wouldn't say that mister Chuya, I couldn't help to feel some sort of great aura coming from mister Tanjiro.'' Said Hirotsu with a nod.

''The boss is going to love to hear this.'' Said Michizo with a smirk.

''I think he is going to want us to eliminate this kid. He might rat us out.'' Said Akatagawa all cold.

''On the contrary, I think he might turn into one of us.'' Said Hirotsu.

''So we might get the giant forehead in here! Great, just what I need it.'' Said Chuya sitting down.

''Let's keep an eye on what he does. We need to see on what he is capable of. After all Kuoh isn't an easy city to take control.'' Said Hirotsu.

''If he tries to stop us, we can kill him with no problem.'' Said Akatagawa.

''Who would be stupid enough to challenge members of Port Mafia. After all the majority of us are Sacred Gear users, only a person who wishes death would want that.'' Said Chuya with a smirk.

''Maybe Dazai. He would be first in line for that kind of stuff.'' Said Michizo just to see what would happen.

Upon hearing his former colleagues name, Chuya was now more livid than before.

''If he tries that then I would be the one to axe him off! Then I will dance on his grave!'' Said Chuya.

''You and your rivalry.'' Said Hirotsu with a smile.

''He betrayed and left us! It's a miracle that the boss hasn't put a bounty on his head.'' Said Chuya.

''Mister Dazai is a wild beast; nobody would be crazy enough to hunt him.'' Said Akutagawa.

''Do you think Tanjiro-kun might be related to Dazai?" Asked Gin.

''I don't know Gin, but let's keep an eye on him.'' Said the older brother.

The Port Mafia went to look on the communicators that Tanjiro has helped brought. Those were specials that couldn't be trace by either police or magic users. This way they could work in the shadows, and no one could reach them.

Outside

Tanjiro took a deep breath and run as fast as he could from that place. He wanted to throw up because he sense horrible people and couldn't do anything to stop them.

''What was! What are they! If they aren't demons, then what in God´s name are they!'' Thoguht him in horror.

The teen took his hand out of the hilt of his sword and punched the sidewalk in frustration.

''I should have tried to fight but…I would been in great danger!'' Thoguht him.

He learned a lot when he stayed at the butterfly mansion and all the other rules about the Demon Slayer corp. Like the job is specifically to fight and kill demons, they aren't police officers.

''Besides none of them were demons, it's not my job to stop evil people but…I can't help that there is something missing in all this.'' Thought him.

Tanjiro then looked at the rolled-up money that they handed it to him and he felt disgusted by that.

''I need to make sure this goes for a good cause.'' Thoguht him.

The teen then saw a little homeless blind girl, siting near a wall with a sign.

´´Anything helps. ´´

Tanjiro knew exactly what to do.

''Here.'' Said Tanjiro giving all that money to the poor girl.

''Oh thank you.'' Said the blind girl.

''Have a good day.'' Said Tanjiro with a smile.

The teen then decided to head home where Anya was probably worried about him.

On a rooftop nearby.

Dazai usually stood in rooftops to try to commit suicides, but this time he wanted to see if the kid from the other day had a good moral code or not. After running out of the Port Mafia safehouse and giving the money to a street girl that gave simple conclusion to the detective.

''Oh looks like this kid is on the good. I wonder…if we can get our hands on him.'' Thoguht him.

Later

On Anya´s home.

Tanjiro arrived home and took off his shoes and put his sword near the entrance.

''I am home Anya-sama.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Oh Tanjiro-kun I was a bit worried, you were a bit late.'' Said Anya seeing him from the kitchen.

''Well since you say you would be a little late, I ended up helping a young woman carry some boxes, but it turned out to be…something odd.'' Said Tanjiro.

''What do you mean?" Asked her.

''I meet her colleagues and all of them smelled off. Like I could sense some dark energy and smell coming from them, like all of them were dirty and ruthless persons.'' Said him.

The girl felt a bit nervous about that and she had an idea on what kind people Tanjiro might be referring too.

''Good thing you didn't stay, you might have got in trouble.'' Said Anya..

''What do you mean?" Asked him.

''In Kuoh the crime rate is low, mostly because the ones who control the criminal world are a group called the Port Mafia.'' Said Anya.

''Port Mafia?" Asked Tanjiro confused.

''Yes, they got this term because…well the Kuoh port. They are a group of ruthless individuals that have been attacking Kuoh for ages, no one can stop them, neither the police, politicians or the mysterious people that keep showing up. They are sneaky and can make someone disappear in the blink of an eye, trust me Tanjiro-kun stay away from those people.'' Said Anya worried.

The teen was horrified by that. He meet with a group of mafioso? Like the Yakuza? He didn't know much about the crime world, but he knew they were bad people and that was enough for him.

''Well thats settle. I will make sure to never see any of them again.'' Said him.

''I´m glad that you say that. By the way dinner will be ready in 20 minutes, we are having burger steak and rice.'' Said Anya.

Tanjiro smiled at that and then decided to ask something to Anya.

''Anya-sama, can I request something?" Asked him.

''What is it?' Asked her.

''Can you teach me how to swim in a big pool?'' Asked him much to Anya surprise.

''Really, you wanna learn that?" Asked her.

''Yes, I think this would be a great opportunity to learn something new. You helped me a lot and this would be something that you are really open in showing to me. So it would be a pleasure to learn from you.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Oh great! I can't wait to…I mean to show you how Kuoh pools work. We will need to wake up extra early to use that pool, but I know this isn't an issue for you.'' Said her with a blush.

Tanjiro just smile at that. Destiny has put his way to a really nice girl who was helping him while stuck in this weird town. He hoped to introduced Anya to Nezuko some day.

''Ok, now let me help you set the table.'' Said Tanjiro.

Later

Tanjiro was cleaning his room, since he was a guest on this house he wanted to make sure that this place was in good state once he left. While cleaning he was trying to make sense on what those people were.

''Maybe there is something in the water that make people smell differently here. Although they have an aura that is not human, so what could it be?'' Thought Tanjiro.

While cleaning the room Tanjiro reached his closet where his uniform from both school and the corps was hanging. He was cleaning up when suddenly he made something heavy drop on the floor.

Bomp

''Uh?" Asked him confused.

He saw it was an book, a very old book with some weird symbol in the middle.

''What is this?" Thought him.

The teen soon grabbed it and decided to show to Anya.

''Anya-sama!'' Said him.

''What is it?" Asked her.

''I found this old book while cleaning my room. Is it yours?" Asked him.

The girl then saw the book and had a sense of Dejavu upon seeing it.

''I think it is, it belongs to my mother.'' Said her grabbing it.

''Oh really?!' Asked Tanjiro.

''Yes, I haven't seeing since I was like a little kid.'' Said her.

''Well I guess she had a reason for hiding?" Asked Tanjiro.

''Where did you found this?" Asked her.

''On the top of my closet.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Well I never went there before. I never have anyone staying over here, but why would she put it there?'' Asked her.

''Uh maybe we should think this tomorrow. Is getting late.'' Said Tanjiro because he felt there was a lot more about this and it would take more than one night.

''You´re right, well have a good night, Tanjiro-kun.'' Said her.

''Well good night.'' Said him.

While Tanjiro went to sleep, Anya went to her room and started to look on that book if it was something from another world.

''I haven't seen this thing since I was a little kid with Erza. Mom and dad never let us be near this, I wonder why.'' Thoguht her.

The girl finally open the book and it was just a bunch of old writing and weird drawings. She had no idea what that stuff meant.

''Uh…what kind language is this?'' Asked her confused.

As she looked closely on the book, she saw something written and decided to say it.

''What is…etativel?'' Asked confused.

Soon something weird started to happen near her.

''Uh?'' Asked Anya sensing something.

The feathers from her pillow started to float. Like floating in midair, it was unbelievable, it wasn't just the feather, but the water from her cup was actually now floating too and her make up sets and jewels were also levitating.

''What is going on?'' Asked her worried.

Anya worried tone soon put everything back to gravity and she felt there was a good motive why her parents never let her see that book.

So yes, Anya is not human…or is it? Well, I let you guys think about that. Nice chapter we will have a nice moment of fan service. Oh yes, Tanjiro wont escape these.

I think once this story is big enough I going to make a TV tropes page, if someone knows how to do it please tell me.

Also, about the Port Mafia scene. I know this seems out of character and kind of dumb of that group just introduce themselves to Tanjiro or something like that. A kid they never seened before, they might think this is a move from the Agency, but this is just for this chapter. It was fun to make.
