Hey there, new chapter and lets get a hold of this whole Anya being a witch thing. Lets see what this is all about.

''A witch, you mean those people who can do magic?" Asked Tanjiro confused.

''I don't know. Maybe this is a prank or something, but this can't be happening. Unless…'' Said Anya being a little bit scared at the end.

''Unless what?" Asked Tanjiro confused.

Anya looked at Tanjiro a bit worried.

''Tanjiro-kun, do you believe in monsters?" Asked Anya.

''Yes, I do. Specially demons.'' Said Tanjiro super serious without missing a beat.

''How so?" Asked her.

''I fight them.'' Said Tanjiro.

Anya only looked at the boy with a sweat drop in her head.

''Ok, I believe in that.'' Said Anya a little bit confused.

''And you should. Demons are monsters that exist, I know I shouldn't be telling you this, but I care about you Anya-sama and I don't want you to be attack.'' Said him.

Anya felt great to hear that Tanjiro cares for her but hearing him saying that demons exist in the most serious tone ever sounded a bit off.

''Note to self, make sure Tanjiro-kun doesn't go to any High School parties.'' Thought her.

''Anya-sama about you being a witch, do you think its real?" Asked Tanjiro.

''I don't know…but it would answer a lot of things.'' Said her.

The girl looked at a picture of her mom and wonder if she has been keeping that secret from her and her sister all this time.

''My mom was a very mysterious person. Never shared much about her side of the family, always leaving in the weekends and showing off some weird things. I thought for a while she was crazy or having an affair.'' Said Anya.

''So your mom was indeed a witch. I guess that really makes you a witch.'' Said Tanjiro.

The girl thought about this and she wonders if her dad knew about all this and never told her.

''I am going to call my dad and resolve this whole thing.'' Said her.

''Ok, I will be near in case of something happen.'' Said Tanjiro.

The girl went to her room and soon went to her bed. She grabbed her phone and started dialing her father number.

''If anything you can open the door for me to enter.'' Said Tanjiro from the other side of the door.

''Thank you Tanjiro-kun.'' Said her.

Anya soon dialed her father number. It started ringing and she was super nervous if he was going to answer her or not, after a few seconds he answered.

''Hello.''

''Dad its me.''

''Oh Anya, how it's going darling? So what can I do for you?"

''I was…doing some chores when some weird stuff in the house started to happen. The…lights started blinking, some weird things started moving and….'' Said her acting like she was being haunted but her father knew what it was going.

''Oh god, your powers have manifested.'' Said him in the other end of the line.

The girl could hear in shock over that, so it was true.

''So you found your mom old book and her letter?" Asked him.

''Yes, it is saying I am a witch. Tell me all about it dad. I want to know the truth.

''Anya, remember when you and Erza were babies and we used to take you two to those ´´gathering´´ of friends that your mom loved to do in the woods?" Asked him.

''Of course, I remember those with fondness. It felt something really magic about all that, almost like anything was possible.''

''that's because it wasn't a gathering, that was a coven of witches. The coven which your mother was a part of it, she was part of the Aislin coven. It is a coven very controversial in the supernatural world so it's the constant target of…witch hunters.'' Said her father sounding a little bit sad at the end.

Anya was now shaking upon hearing that. Witch hunters were real also?

''Witch hunters? Isn't this a bit too much American?" Asked her.

''Just because one country popular with witches it doesn't mean that the hunters are just in America. Just like missionaries send people to other countries to convert people, hunters send people to each country to hunt witches.''

''So how are they so obseed over mom coven?"

''Your mother coven is one that dates way back the medieval times. Her whole line was of witch descendants. Your grandmother was a super restrict witch when I meet her.''

''So I can use magic? Like making a cup float or ride a broomstick?" Asked her a little surprised.

''Those were old tales, although your mother coven had some witches that could ride broomsticks.''

''What else should I know?" Asked her

''Since you´re of age at the moment I think you know what to do with that book. If you want to keep it away and be normal, suit yourself. However, if you want to continue your mother line than do it what you need to do.''

Anya didn't know what to do. All her life she just focused in passing high school, be a good swimmer, get a boyfriend and then get a job. Typical High school stuff, now hearing that she was a witch was a bit much and she didn't know what to say.

''What is that old book all about?''

''Witchcraft. It has been passed down in your mother family for over 300 years, it has spells and information about the supernatural world. I never looked over that thing since I am not a warlock or some other thing, I think if you keep reading you can learn how to do magic with that. So what will you do Anya?''

The girl thought for a moment, what she would do? Continue her mother legacy or live a normal boring life? She need it to know and also, she wanted to know how would Tanjiro feel with all this now being thrown at him.

''I will try for a while. If its is in my blood to spells than I should at least do some. I mean I never backed down from something in front of me and I want to least figure out who am I.''

''Anya, I trust you and I know you would do the right thing. You always told me everything and never hide anything.'' Said him.

''Oh yeah.'' Said Anya looking a bit off, because she hasn't told her father about Tanjiro living with her.

''What is it?" Asked him

''Nothing!'' Said

''Ok.'' Said him a bit confused.

''Can we get back on talking about mom?''

''From what your mother told me before we meet, she decided to let her life in the coven behind. She wanted to introduce you two to that stuff once you got a certain age, she didn't wanted to expose you two all the time like she had to endure it.''

''So I am about to get a lot of weird stuff happening to me if I keep reading this?"

''Yes, it's the same thing I had to endure once I started dating your mom.''

''What do you mean?

''It was awkward at first, but I guess I got used to all that witchcraft stuff being showed to me.''

''Was Erza also supposed to be a witch?"

''Yes, but surprisingly she could manifest her powers at a young age. Like she was doing magic even before she was of age.''

''Erza could do magic like when she was 8?"

''Yes, she showed signs early on. Remember when the house caught fire out of the blue or all the leaf's in the neighborhood kept turning red?" Asked him.

Anya remembered those things when she was a kid. She just thought it was weird stuff but now she realized it was her twin doing that.

''It was her doing it!'' Scream her.

''Yes, Erza could have been a prodigy witch…until…'' Said him almost tearing up.

''Lets no talk about this.' Said Anya changing also the subject.

''Alright, what else do you wanna know about it?''

''Mom´s coven, what they were all about?''

''They worship the moon and their different seasons. They believed that once the moon was at the full they were getting more powers. They worshiped Nyx the Goddess of Night and their first witch to set their coven is named Aislin, hence the name. They have members all over the world, including Europa and America. Once a year your mom would see most of the members in a gathering in Salem, remember her annual ´´business trip´´? Yes, that what this was all about.''

The girl took a deep breath and didn't know what to think of it. Now a bunch of things about her past now made sense to her, now she wanted to know a lot more about her true family past and all the secrets.

''So what are you going to do now?" Asked him.

''I am going to try to see what more is being hidden for me.''

''I don't think this is a good idea Anya, but I get it. You want to figure who you are and what is your hereditary. I trust you on this.''

''Ok dad, by the way…I wanted to know.''

''What?''

''When mom died. The explosion…it was natural, or it was witch hunters?" Asked Anya nervous.

The man on the other sided sounded really hurt and didn't wanted to say it, but he felt his daughter need it to know the true.

''Yes, it was a witch hunter. I found that out when we did your mom autopsy at the hospital.''

Anya started to tear up, so her mother was murder instead of dying of a freak accident. Who was the bastard who killed her mother.

''Be careful darling.''

''I will.''

Once it was all done, Anya seated on her bed with a shocked look in her face. After 5 minutes of silence, Tanjiro open her door to see if she is ok.

''Anya-sama what happened?" Asked him

''Tanjiro-kun…my entire life is a lie.''

''What? What do you mean?"

''I discovered that my mother didn't died because of an accident…she was murder.'''

''What! How?" Asked Tanjiro worried.

''Witch hunter.'' Said Anya worried.

The Demon Slayer was a bit shocked by this. However Demons are cruel beings that enjoy killing and eaten people, he wasn't going to kill witches just because they are different. He wanted to see if they are doing good or evil deeds.

''Its ok, I will be here for you. Besides, just because someone is a hunter is doesn't mean they are evil.'' Said Tanjiro.

''What?! So…are you a hunter?" Asked Anya worried. Fearing that the boy that she has been letting stay in her house was a witch hunter.

''Yes, but I am not a witch hunter! I am a demon slayer!'' Said Tanjiro all serious.

''Tanjiro-kun I am not in the mood for jokes.'' Said her.

''I am not joking! I am a demon slayer and I take it seriously!"' Said him all serious.

The girl just blink in confusion at this. Upon hearing that witches are real then might as well hear this.

''What do you do?" Asked her.

''My job is to hunt demons. I am a member of he Demon Slaying Corp and I been doing this for over a few months.'' Said Tanjiro

''But why do you do this?" Asked her.

''Because a demon killed all of my family and turn my sister into a demon.'' Said Tanjiro.

''What?' Asked Anya.

''Let me explain everything…'' Said him.

Tanjiro then told Anya everything. How he and his family were living in the mountains and one time when Tanjiro went to the city he only returned in the morning. Once he returned everyone in his family has been killed, except for his sister Nezuko who became a demon. Despite being a monster Nezuko still remain her humanity and hasn't eaten any human, after that he trained hard to become a demon slayer and had came across a bunch of people and even letting the Demon Slayer Corp let her sister be around.

''Your sister is still a demon, and you are still calm?" Asked Anya in shock.

The boy just smile, proclaiming that this is what his family would have done. Nezuko is the only thing he has left in the world so he is going to do everything to make her a human again.

Tanjiro then showed to her the uniform of the demon slaying Corp, he show the back of the black jacket that had a kanji on the back.

´´Extermination´´

Anya was shocked to hear this. Tanjiro then told her about Doctor Tamayo and Yushiro who were also good demons that helped him and his sister. He also told her about the hand demon, Susamaru, Yahaba, Kyogai and Rui. Demons that while horrible monsters, he felt there was sense of sorry when they died. The feeling that before they were demons they had some kind of wish or some kind of feeling.

The girl didn't expect Tanjiro to had went through such a difficult journey, just to protect his sister.

''But how do you kill a demon? Do you just beat them and they die?" Asked her.

''Not quite. A demon can only be killed by sunlight or a nichiri blade, which is the blade of my sword. I used that alongside my breathing technique.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Breathing technique? So you do some breathing and you can help kill a demon?" Asked her.

''Yes, I am a wielder of the Water Breathing style. I can use water to help me kill a demon.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Can you show me?" Asked her.

''It might be a little bit difficult and dangerous.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Its ok, I will move some stuff around the house.'' Said her.

'Alright.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Get your sword. I´m gonna fix some stuffs.'' Said her.

Tanjiro went to put his uniform as Anya was moving the things around her apartment to make Tanjiro have some space. She then put a can of soda in the counter and Tanjiro was going to aim at that if it was the head of a demon. The demon slayer took a stand and then started to breath.

''First Form: Water Surface Slash!''

Tanjiro went on to cut the can and the poor object not only got cut, it exploded from the sheer pressure from the attack. The apartment got soda and water spilled all over the floor.

''I am so sorry for this Anya-sama, but this was the only way to show you.'' Said Tanjiro.

Anya was speechless about all this. That got to be the most amazing thing she has ever witness in her life.

''This was incredible! You did that whole Katana magic thing by just breathing?!' Asked her.

''Well yes, but it took a certain amount of time an dedication to get the breathing technique fully working.'' Said him.

''You need to train to make this thing working? I thought you just breath and that was it.'' Said her.

''Well that not all. The Breathing technique style is a lot harsh and takes a lot of your mind. It took me two years to fully master the Water Breathing and most of its forms. I am sure that if you decided to become a witch with the right dedication you can achieve great things.'' Said Tanjiro.

Anya just smile at that; Tanjiro knew exactly what to say in order to make the situation feel better.

''You´re right, I guess if this is my destiny than I should fulfilled.'' Said her.

''that's great to hear.'' Said Tanjiro with a smile.

''So I am going to be a great witch!'' Said her all proud

The demon slayer just laugh at that. He didn't know how this whole witch thing is all about, but he thought maybe this was a road that only Anya herself was going to learn.

''I guess we all learn new things every day.'' Said him.

'Yes.'' Said her with a smile.

Anya started to blush and then looked at Tanjiro.

''Tanjiro-kun.'' Said her.

''What is it?" Asked him.

''Do you have someone special waiting for you?" Asked her.

Tanjiro started blushed at that question. He never had a girlfriend and Kanao is like a senior to him, besides he was just glad that he helped her conquer her dependence of the coin for that one time.

''Oh no! no! No! I am...i am super busy and you know…demon slaying…fighting to cure my sister…I never…'' Said Tanjiro all nervous.

''Relax, I am just asking.'' Said her laughing.

The boy felt really humiliated at that part, he was never good in talking about relationships. He didn't even know if he woud ever a girlfriend now how his life has been turned.

''He is so cute when blushing.'' Thought Anya laughing while seeing him nervous.

Tanjiro looked a bit odd at Anya looking at him.

''Why is she laughing?" Thought him.

Tanjiro didn't know how different women from another world and another time period think. He was still cluless of everything that was going on.

The next day

It wasn't a school day so Tanjiro and Anya would stay at home most of the time. While Tanjiro was doing some exercises, Anya was reading some of the spells in her mother odl book. She wanted to know everything that was in there. However, despite of being a witch in training she was still there to make sure Tanjiro was being fed. She wanted to make some pasta but there was no vegetables.

''Tanjiro-kun, can you be a dear and go buy me some vegetables near by?" Asked her

''Sure I can.'' Said him.

''Oh thank you.'' Said her giving him money.

Later

Tanjiro grabbed a few vegetables, enough to make a good dinner for two.

''Well I got everything, Anya-sama is going to be pleased to see all this.'' Said him.

The boy was still processing everything that happened yesterday. He discovering that witches were real and Anya-sama was one of them. He didn't know how things would played out after this, but he knew she was a good person and he wasn't going to let anyone hurt her.

''Still a witch…I guess I am going to see what they can do. If Demons exist what else lurkes in this world?" Thought him.

While lost in thoughts Tanjiro looked around and then saw a man on the top of a rooftop in one of the buildings in Kuoh.

''Uh?" Asked Tanjiro confused.

Then the man jumped out of the roof which made Tanjiro go crazy.

''AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!' Scream him.

Tanjiro ran as fast as he could, he managed to reach to the spot where the man would have splattered in the ground, he used his body as some sort of cushion so the man didn't get hurt.

Bump

''Ouch.'' Said Tanjiro in pain.

''Well someone stopped my certain death.'' Said the man.

Tanjiro looked out to see who was the crazy person who decided to jump out of the roof. He was a man with brown coat, bandages in his arm and black hair. Tanjiro remembered who that man was.

''Hey you´re the guy from the coffee shop.'' Said Tanjiro.

''And you´re the kid who was looking for directions. Well I guess its fate that we meet up again.'' Said him.

''What do you mean?" Asked Tanjiro.

''A pleasure to meet you, the name is Osamu Dazai.'' Said Dazai.

The teen looked in confused at this man, and Tanjiro life was about to get a lot more confusing.

So yes, Anya family has been a witches for generations. Now let's see how things will feel with a witch into Tanjiro.
