Here´s the next chapter, I know you guys want to get more of DxD instead of Bungo Stray Dog, remember I wanted to do a Hero Academia DxD crossover but I let it go before I went nuts. Its not going to be a ton, but we will see them appear here and there. Things are going to be really fun, after that we will have a chapter that I am really excited.

Tanjiro was taking a bunch of garbage towards the main dumpster outside. This job was a bit tiresome but compare to everything Urokodaki had him endure this was nothing. While cleaning some sweat in his forehead someone called him out.

''Nice job.'' Said Dazai seeing Tanjiro.

''Dazai-san! Why are you here?' Asked Tanjiro.

''I wanted to see how well you did. Is no easy cleaning up the mess of these people.'' Said Dazai

''Uh…you also does a lot of mess.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Kid I am not here to point fingers, I am here to talk what you say about life. Well like I told you I had a really bad past and I would like to forget all about it.'' Said Dazai.

Tanjiro didn't know what he might be referring, but he could guess that it was a really tragic and harsh past.

'The past might be sad for most of us, but we can use that to make us into better people.' Said Tanjiro.

''Well...what if I told you that I used to killed people in my past. Should I be allowed to live?" Asked Dazai.

Tanjiro just look in horror at that. Dazai killing people? There is no way, he is a good guy.

''No just killed but other things too.'' Said a cold voice.

Tanjiro look in horror and saw the trench coat man from the other day, named Ryuunosuke Akutagawa appear.

''Oh no!'' Said Tanjiro worried.

''Oh hey Akutagawa, what bring you to our area? You know it's not going to end well.'' Said Dazai with a smirk.

''I came for the Weretiger, give me and nothing will happen.'' Said Akutagawa.

''Sorry, but Atushi is busy right now. Come back later.'' Said Dazai.

''You know that I am not leaving until I bring him back.'' Said Akutagawa pissed.

Tanjiro looked a bit confused, did those two know each other.

''Mister Dazai, do you know him!?'' Asked him.

''Yes, when I used to work in ´´another place´´ Akutagawa was someone that I was really close.'' Said Dazai.

Tanjiro was even in more horror, Dazai worked with this monster who smelled like blood.

''I don't know what you did but it helped you become what you are today. I know that you have a lot to explain, but I know you are now a really good person.'' Said Tanjiro serious.

The detective was surprised by this. Of course he doesn't know of the amount of people he killed over the years as a member of the Port Mafia, but he could say that he would give him a chance.

''I am moved kid truly; you are really one of us know.'' Said Dazai with a smile.

''Well…it confirms you are not going to join us.'' Said Akutagawa pissed.

Tanjiro felt a shiver in his spine, it wasn't the same level as Rui but it was really close.

'What it is this? How can he do this?" Asked Tanjiro mentally.

''Well, I told you to leave Akutagawa or else our new member is going to kick your butt.'' Said Dazai.

''Uh what?" Asked Tanjiro.

''Do you really think a kid like that can stand against a member of the port Mafia?" Asked Akutagawa.

''What do you mean?" Asked Tanjiro.

''For you see kid, he and his people work in the underground doing horrible things. I can't tell how many innocent life's were lost because they pissed off Akutagawa-kun.'' Said Dazai.

Tanjiro was now really pissed at this, even if this man wasn't a demon, he was really close of one.

''If it's a duel you want then I accept.'' Said Tanjiro drawing up his Kata.

(Note: He brought the Katana, because of course he did. He is a demon Slayer he is going to fight with that thing until the day he dies.)

''I see.'' Said Akutagawa now truly pissed.

Then his power started to manifest, and Tanjiro could sense just the worst.

''So you´re really a demon! But how can you be out in the sun?" Asked Tanjiro.

''Demon? It's that how he call Devils!?'' Thoguht Akutagawa

''Well I am going to be here watching this fight, this is going to be good to see.'' Said Dazai just relaxing on the side.

Tanjiro prepared his katana while Akutagawa was preparing his attack.

'Say kid, I thought you were just bringing that just to show. I didn't know this was real.'' Said Dazai.

''This isn't a toy!'' Said Tanjiro.

''Before we fight, I want to know what you did after our meeting. That day you meet my associates.'' Said Akutagawa.

''I went home and vowed to never see any of you again, I could sense that all of you were up to nothing good.'' Said Tanjiro.

''You knew that we have dealings with the underground"? Asked Akutagawa.

''No, but I could sense that what you people did was up to no good.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Even when we give you money you thought as us as monsters?" Asked Akutagawa.

''I gave that money away!'' Said Tanjiro pissed.

That was enough for the rest of the Port Mafia accept the killing of this kid and don't mind Akutagawa killing.

''You must die now.'' Said him all cold activating his devil powers.

Rashomon

Tanjiro saw those really weird tentacle coming out of the dark haired man back, he knew that he had to dodged it because just one attack was able to destroy half of the dumpster.

''Wow! What is this!?' Asked Tanjiro worried.

Tanjiro saw that his enemy didn't even had to lift a finger to kill him, truly he was no better than a demon.

''You are no trheat to us, I shall kill you and take the Weretiger with no problem.'' Said Akutagawa.

Tanjiro then decided to attack, he took a deep breath and prepared his next move.

''Water Breathing 4 form: Strike Tide.''

''Huh?" Asked Akutagawa confused as Tanjiro launched towards him.

Slash

The Rashomon went to kill Tanjiro but his cut on the thing made not only step back but also shiver.

''He hurt my Rashomon! Impossible!'' Thought Akutagawa in shock.

Dazai was even more impressed, nothing outside of his sacred Gear was able to stop Rashomon, but not only stop but also hurt this was a first time.

''What was that sword?'' Thought him.

Tanjiro just look a bit wored out but he was far from over.

''You should leave before you can get really hurt.'' Said Tanjiro serious.

''Like I am going to leave after this.'' Said Akutagawa now pissed.

''Kid you better do something, he is truly pissed now.' Said Dazai worried.

Tanjiro saw the Rashomon ready to attack and he managed to dodge over and over again. That attack was as deadly as a demon attack.

''I need the right time before I can fully give another blow.'' Thought Tanjiro.

''You´re finished earing boy.'' Said Akutagawa.

Tanjiro then managed to slip off and escape the attack and not get hit, soon he prepared his katana and a new attack.

''Water breathing 2 form: Water Wheel.''

The attack was aimed directly at Akutagawa this time and he was hit by Tanjiro breathing.

''Urgh!'' Said the mafioso in pain.

He saw his coat now with his own blood and was shocked to feel a little weak, was that thing also a holy sword?

''What is this!?' Asked him.

''Water breathing 1 form: Water Surface Slash!''

Slash

''Argh!'' Scream the mafioso now in pure pain as blood started to drip.

''Nice!'' Thoguht Dazai.

Akutagawa was now feeling weak. Not since his training with Dazai he felt such pain, it was that sword it was causing so much damage on him.

''What is that thing? What is he?" Asked Akutagawa.

''I am warning you! Leave and I will stop. Your wounds are deep now, if you keep going then you will ended up losing conscience.'' Said Tanjiro.

Akutagawa just wanted to know who was the dammed bastard who got him all cut.

''Who the hell are you?" Asked him

''I am Tanjiro Kamado, member of the Demon Slayer Corp!''

''Demon Slayer? Should he say devil?" Asked Akutagawa.

Dazai just heard that and kept that in mind, there is a piece missing in this puzzle.

''I guess I need to keep watching this kid even more.'' Thoguht hm.

Akutagawa saw he need it medical treatment, so he had to retreat.

''You haven't seen the last of me kid, you are now in my hit list, you and the weretiger. Be aware that I won't stop until you and everyone you ever love is dead! You have be warned!'' Said Akutagawa disappearing as he ran off.

''Wait!"' Said Tanjiro but the mafioso had already left.

Dazai just kept quiet as Tanjiro tried to catch up to the devil hybrid, but it was too late, he was already gone.

''He left! We need to warn the others!'' Said Tanjiro worried.

''I will tell them but don't worry, we deal with these people all the time.'' Said Dazai.

''What?" Asked Tanjiro.

''The port mafia is the name of that organization you meet a few days ago, they are all people with supernatural abilities. You just faced one of their top members and they won't stop now until they have your head.'' Said Dazai all serious.

''I understand that, but I don't care. I saw worst things than a bunch of people, yes they are evil but not compared to the demons.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Sure, just be careful out there kid.'' Said Dazai.

The two soon went inside, although for Tanjiro that was a crazy day this was a regular one for the members of the Armed detective Agency.

Later

Everyone soon heard of the fight that happen outside, Tanjiro was sitting in a chair while everyone was looking at him odd.

''You fought Akutagawa in your first day!'' Said Atushi shocked.

''Wow, at least wait a week before fight a big fish like him.'' Said Junchiro with a smile.

''Yes, at least get used to the environment before you fight one of those guys.'' Said Ranpo.

Tanjiro felt a bit awkward but he knew these weren't regular people so he could talk about demons in there.

''I am sorry for fighting but I couldn't sense any decency or good in that man. It was the only solution.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Its ok kid, we all would have done what you did. Well not with a katana, but we all would have fought no less.'' Said Dazai.

''This is going to be troublesome, now he will the target of them.'' Said Kunikida.

''I would say that's its worse than that.'' Said Dazai.

''What do you mean?" Asked Kunikida.

''He meet the port Mafia before, from what I heard he meet with them a while ago.'' Said Dazai.

The others detectives were shocked to hear that, so Tanjiro already meet those assholes.

''What! How?" Asked Atushi.

''I was helping a woman with blonde hair carry some boxes. She told me to help move to a place where she and her associated worked.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Were you in their hideout?'' Asked Akiko.

''Yes, it was like a weird club. I don't know how to describe it.'' Said Tanjiro.

The group all felt a little worried now, Tanjiro would now be target by the wrath of the Port Mafia and all of their fury.

''Well this can't be good for him, now the Port Mafia will have their sights on him.'' Said Kunikida.

''So how did you battle up Akutagawa, it's almost impossible to beat that guy!'' Said Atushi.

''I used my water breathing technique. He is weak to those attack just like a demon.'' Said Tanjiro all simple.

The detectives were a bit confused at that, did Tanjiro just say ´´Water Breathing´´?

''Water breathing?'' Asked Junchiro.

''Oh you mean your sacred Gear?!'' Asked Kenji.

''Sacred Gear?'' Asked Tanjiro.

''Makes sense, if his Sacred Gear can combat the likes of Akutagawa devil powers it's the perfect balance.'' Said Akiko.

''Yes, I just hope the others don't find that out and snatch him out of us. I still know that they haven't filled their peerages.'' Said Naomi referring to two devil girls.

''Wow! We have a new member with a cool Sacred Gear!" Said Kenji all excited.

''We just keep getting more of those here.'' Said Ranpo.

''This place is truly a circus.' Said Atushi with a dry laugh.

''Well at least I can put Tanjiro on the group that we can trust.'' Said Kunikida writing down on his book.

Tanjiro was just confused as everyone kept talking and talking. He was so lost at all this and he still had one big question on his head.

''What is a Sacred Gear?" Thoguht Tanjiro.

Soon

Tanjiro was told to now worry, the director would make sure him and Anya would be safe and if something happen he could always come here to talk with the detectives.

''Tanjiro-kun, I don't know if your job as a janitor will stay but if it does we would like to tell you to never forget that you are not alone.'' Said Yukichi.

''Thank you so much, I will be always at your debt, and I hope to keep working here as I can.'' Sadi Tanjiro.

''don't worry Tanjiro there will be more trash for you the next time.'' Said Ranpo.

''You should eat better Ranpo-kun.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Nah!''' Said Ranpo.

Tanjiro soon went home as the detectives kept talking about the event of the day.

''So we are now in a pickle, the port mafia will have his head.'' Said Dazai.

''There is still the issue of the Fallen Angels around the area, but we should let Rias or Sona handle this.'' Said Kunikida.

''No matter the cause we will make sure Tanjiro-kun is safe. If he could handle a port mafia member with no problem in the first day, then he was borned to be one of us.'' Said Yukichi.

''Yes, he is truly a detective in the making.'' Said Dazai.

''So what we will do now director?" Asked Kunikida.

''We will keep a close eye on him. Since he goes to Kuoh Academy we will make sure we get information from our sources there.'' Said Yukichi

''Do you think this is necessary?" Asked Kunikida.

''Of course, this boy life is now in great danger. We need to make sure he is ok for the time being.'' Said Yukichi.

''But what about the ´´tiger situation´´?" Asked Dazai.

''Atushi will be in the care of you Dazai, I know you will take good care of him.'' Said Yukichi.

''Yes, he is in the handle of beautiful professional.'' Said Dazai with a smirk.

''Poor kid.'' Thoguht Kunikda.

''Next time we see Tanjiro-kun we need to learn more about him.'' Said Yukichi.

''Yes sir!'' Said the two detectives.

The detective agency went on with their day as they look for the news about the port mafia, but also from what Atushi told them a little girl that is tagging along with those murders for some reason.

With the Port Mafia.

News of Akutagawa defeat reach even the higher ups. Even Ougai, Elise, Kouyou and Chuuya went to see the half devil being healed by some people they have at nearby in case of something like this.

''Argh!'' Said Akutagawa in pain.

''Stay still we are still healing you.'' Said one of the healers.

'What could have caused all that!'' Said Chuuya pissed.

''The earing kid!'' Said Akutagawa pissed.

''What! Tanjiro-kun did this!'' Asked Higuchi in shock.

''Wow, never imagined someone so kind to do this to you.'' Said Michizou.

''How did he do all this?'' Asked Gin worried.

''his sword! Is a freaking sacred Gear and a powerful one! He created some water waves so powerful that even hurt my Rashomon.

The port Mafia were in shock upon hearing this. Ougai was now interested.

''He cut the Rashamon?" Asked Ougain now smiling.

''So we have a new prey?" Asked Kouyou.

''No, he must be right now protected by the detectives. Let's give time before we capture him.'' Said Ougai.

''I might say might adorable Kyoka. She can kill him.'' Said Kouyou.

The leader of the Port Mafia just smile at the name of Demon Slayer.

''Tanjiro Kamado, I wonder if we will ever meet in person.'' Thoguht Ougai.

Later

Dazai was in a bar, just trying to relax and flirt with the barista who wasn't giving him any chance. Soon a new person arrive nearby.

''So drinking again?" Asked the other man.

''Yes, hope I can get a liver failure.'' Said Dazai.

''What are you have sir?'' Asked the barista.

''The same that he is having.'' Said the other man.

The man had also dark hair but also with some blonde parts mixed with the rest.

''So how is work?" Asked the other man.

''I got a new kid to look after.'' Said Dazai.

''The white tiger? I heard he was with you.'' Said the other man.

''No, although Atushi is cool I just meet this other kid who is just as interesting as him.'' Said Dazai.

'What is his deal? Tell me.'' Said the man with a smirk.

''That would spoil the fun…Azazel.'' Said Dazai with a smile.

The man who Dazai was talking was the leader of the Fallen Angels Azazel, who Dazai knew since his port Mafia days. He heard rumors of a little attack happening in Kuoh, but wanst going to intrude since he knows how this will end.

With Tanjiro.

Tanjiro was going home now, finally done with his job and he grabbed some nice meat buns and mochi at the store to give to Anya.

''Ok, I hope she doesn't mind all this.'' Thought him.

The teen just wonder if this was all necessary in his life, like should he just be focusing on looking a way back towards the mansion or he should just wait?

''Ever since I arrived here things have been different. I don't know why, but its like even compared to hunting for demons this place is even crazier. I just hope Nezuko is ok.'' Thought him.

Tanjiro soon arrived towards his house and sense a weird coming from inside.

''Is that incense?'' Thought him.

Tanjiro thought there might be some kind of weird odor coming from Anya living room.

''Anya-sama are you there?" Asked Tanjiro opening the door.

''Tanjiro-kun wait!' Scream her.

Anya was naked, just wearing a cloak and she was with some pain on her face, there were candles all around the house and she had drawn some weird thing on the floor. Tanjiro just look in shock at that as he blushes.

''Tanjiro-kun…'' Said Anya all embarrassed.

''I will come back later!'' Said him leaving.

Ok, this was an interesting chapter. We will have the Port Mafia now looking at Tanjiro the same way they had their eyes on Atushi at the beginning of the series. I wonder if I will keep the Bungo Stray Dog style for that long, like they will be key figures, but I won't stop DxD stories to do story arcs of their show. I just want Tanjiro to meet Kyoka and that's it, after that they will be more of a supporting role.

I admit, I wasn't pleased with this chapter. The execution wasn't that great in my opinion. Tanjiro and Akutagawa fighting in the back alley while Dazai just watch? On paper this suck. On Manga this look cool, in anime format this look neat. If someone want to beta and redo this chapter for me that would be great, I just hope to get better. In every story you have a chapter that the author doesn't feel like they did their best and this was the one for me.

Also yes, Dazai know Azazel which would make sense and kind be cool. I think they would get along; Azazel will meet Tanjiro and he will have some things to say about this kid.

Tanjiro is really getting around this world and soon things will about to get really fun. I can't wait until we get to the part that he has girls falling for him.
