So hey, finally we are going back to DxD and we are going to have a really good time with this chapter. I hope you all have a good time in here, I hope things aren't going to get really busy for me in the following months. I hope you all have a good time and let's get things going on.

Now that Anya had put a robe and clean her face, she was still super embarrassed while Tanjiro looked at the floor in shame for seeing her naked body.

''So…what was all that?' Asked Tanjiro.

''I had to take my clothes and do a chatting that connected me with the energy of nature.'' Said Anya.

''Why were you doing inside of the house?" Asked Tanjiro

''According to the book, this was a ritual that even the witches from Salem used to do…but I got embarrassed of doing that outside.'' Said Anya.

''So you decided to not being seen by others?" Aked Tanjiro.

''Yes, but it didn't work since you saw me.'' Said Anya still blushing.

Tanjiro just looked embarrassed at that moment. This was really a pickle to him.

''I am so sorry.'' Said him.

''Why are you apologizing?! I should be the one apologizing, I was here bare naked, and you appeared.'' Said her.

''Well, this is your house and you should what you want.'' Said Tanjiro.

Anya just looked with a little smile at that. Tanjiro was really super sweet for a boy.

''Look Tanjiro-kun, no matter if this is my house I shouldn't been doing this stuff because I have a guess. I am still scoping that I am a witch and you are a demon Slayer, lets just admit that things aren't normal in this house.'' Said Anya.

''Agreed, I guess we weirdos are the best for one another.'' Said Tanjiro.

''You´re too Sweet for this world.'' Said Anya.

''Thanks.'' Said Tanjiro

Later at dinner.

''So how was work?' Asked Tanjiro.

''it was interesting, I clean so many trash and I fought a demon.'' Said Tanjiro.

''You fought a demon! Here in Kuoh! What should we do? Lock the doors or what?' Asked Anya.

''don't worry, I think he won't come to attack us. I did a good amount of damages on him, but I am still confused because while he attacked like a demon he wasn't burning at the sun.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Well maybe he is a mystical creature. There is a ton in the book that I got.'' Said Anya.

''What do you mean?" Asked Tanjiro.

''The book that you found says a lot. Talk about a bunch of mystical creatures that live among us, but also talk in great detail about the war of the devils against angels and fallen angels.'' Said Anya.

''Wow really! I was never that much into catholic religion. Me and my family were more of a Buddhist tradition and we worshiped Kagu-Tsuchi since we work with fire. However, I do remember reading the bible about devils and angels.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Yes, it's a whole mess. I just skipped for now it's not like I need to know about these three at the moment.'' Said Anya.

''But what can you tell about demons?" Asked Tanjiro.

''It didn't say anything about demons, but I found a lot about devils.'' Said her.

''Devils? So they are like the demons?" Asked Tanjiro.

''No, from what you described me Devils are totally different from your demons. Like Devils can die from just light and holy weapons, while you told me that demons can only be killed either decapitated or by the sun. Also, they don't eat human flesh, they eat regular food just like us humans. What I also discovered is that Devils tend to go to the human world and live among us, so that man that you fought might be a devil.'' Said Anya.

Tanjiro was shocked to hear that. So it wasn't a demon that he fought, it was a devil.

''So devils do exist. I wonder if the Corp know about this.'' Thought him.

''Well I guess your sword is like something mystical that can also hurt them, I guess if I throw the bible they can suffer. Who cares about them right now?" Asked Anya.

''I hope that devils aren't all evil. At least they don't eat human flesh like you told.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Ok, less talk about eating human flesh and let's go back to dinner.'' Said Anya.

''Right.'' Said Tanjiro with a smile.

Tanjiro and Anya had a lovely dinner and soon went to their room. Tanjiro had another day working at the agency but no attacks or anything, he just cleaned the place and took the trash. He was really good at his job as a janitor.

The next school day.

Tanjiro and Anya went toward school with no problem, they of course have stuff to do today but right now they just wanted to get things done in Kuoh Academy.

''Well its good to be back in school, so this how it feels.'' Thought Tanjiro.

When Tanjiro was walking in the halls he could still smell the weird sense in the air, like something was wrong in this place.

''Is my nose broken or what?' Thought him.

''Oh Tanjiro-kun.'' Said a cheerful voice.

The boy turned around and saw Tomoe and Momo from the Student Council.

''oh Tomoe-chan, Momo-chan. What are you two doing?" Asked him seeing the two girls with some flyers and a bucket of glue.

''We are posting some flyers for President Souna.'' Said Momo.

''Do you guys need help with that?' Asked Tanjiro.

''Oh no, we don't want to waste your time with Student Council stuff.'' Said Tomoe.

'Yes, you should focus on your day Tanjiro-kun.'' Said Momo.

''don't worry, I have nothing to do at the moment. Besides this doesn't sound like too much of a job to do.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Really, wow you´re a life safer!"' Said Tomoe giving him some flyers.

Tanjiro saw the flyers and they had a weird symbol and the tag line ´´make your dreams come true´´ what does that mean?

''Let just find a really good spot to put these.'' Said Momo.

''Where are the other members of the Student Council? Shouldn't they also be helping?" Asked Tanjiro.

''The others are busy with other tasks, right now its our turn to pas these flyers around.'' Said Momo.

''Well there is no shame in that, I guess Souna-chan really takes her duty very serious from what appears.'' Said Tanjiro.

''You have no idea.'' Said the two girls with a smile.

While they were walking Tanjiro couldn't help to keep sniffing the air, the smell of those two were off. It wasn't as alarming as Souna or Akutagawa but it was near, it was driving him confused.

''Something wrong Tanjiro-kun?" Asked Tomoe.

''Sorry, I think this glue is a bit strong.'' Said Tanjiro not lying since the smell of the glue was really strong.

''Yes, I personally also hate this brand but its what the president wants.'' Said Momo.

Later

The trio put some flyers around the school and Tanjiro was happy to help his friends.

''Here you go.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Wow we finished with an hour to spare! Thank you Tanjiiro-kun.'' Said Tomoe with a smile.

''What are these flyers about? I still don't understand.'' Said him.

''They are for a business that the Student Council support.'' Said Momo.

''Business?" Asked Tanjiro.

''Yes, once you use this flyer you will understand. Take one just for consideration.'' Said Tomoe giving Tanjiro a flyer.

''Ok.'' Said Tanjiro not sure but he put the flyer in his pocket.

''Are you interested in joining any club Tanjiro-kun, we noticed that you don't have any extra curricular.'' Said Momo.

Tanjiro thought for a moment, he stopped at this task of looking for a club. He was still aiming to talk to the Occult Research Club because they might have some information on Demons, but Sona offered him an internship at the Student Council, but Anya also made him like to swim in the school pool.

''I don't know…. there is so many clubs and so little time to choose.' Said him with a smile.

''Well if you wanna know the Student Council still has that open spot and we think you would really benefit.'' Said Momo.

''Oh really?" Asked Tanjiro.

'Yes, president and the vice president can be tough but once you do your job right, they are actually really nice people.'' Said Tomoe.

''Well I am no strange to tough situation. I used to chop wood all the time so I don't see her task and things being so difficult.'' Said Tanjiro with a smile.

''Oh you´re so sweet Tanjiro-kun, I am sure the present would love to have you around.'' Said Tomeoe.

Soon Tanjiro saw the clock of the school and he saw his class was about to start.

''Oh I got go to my classroom! Sorry, but I need to leave.'' Said Tanjiro running.

''See you around!'' Said Tomoe and Momo.

The two girl just saw Tanjiro run and soon started to talk.

''Isn't he perfect?" Asked Tomoe.

''According to your red cheeks I would say that yes, he is perfect.'' Said Momo with a chuckle.

''Oh come on! At least I am not in love with a dumbass that is fixate in one girl that he can't see what's right in front of him.'' Said Tomoe annoyed because of Momo crush on Saji.

''I don't know what are you talking about!'' Said Momo.

''Just tell that idiot that you like him.'' Said Tomoe.

''is not that simple, he is too fixated on the president.'' Said Momo a bit sad.

''Well good luck on your love crusade. Me, I think I am going to have a good knight partner in the future.'' Said Tomoe with a smile.

''Whatever, lets just tell the president.'' Said Momo.

Later

Momo and Tomoe soon were at Sona office where they relate on their time with Tanjiro and his help with the flyers.

''So he did help set the flyers around the school?" Asked Sona.

''Yes and we even got an hour to spare. He is really fast and he knows what is he doing.'' Said Tomoe.

Sona just took a sip of her tea and then just answer with one thing:

''He keeps getting more and more interesting.'' Said her.

Meanwhile

Rias saw the flyers for the Student Council group be around the school, made sense Sona had privilege on that area while Rias had to make her flyers be spread around mostly in two. She heard from some students that Tanjiro helped pass these around and he was very fast in putting these.

''I guess I need to meet him in person before Sona snatches him.'' Thoguht her.

After school

Tanjiro was done with his class and he was ready to meet up with Anya to leave school.

''Not a bad day, but at least I been productive in my education.'' Said Tanjiro still not knowing how a modern-day teen talk.

''Tanjiro-kun.' Said Anya arriving.

''Oh Anya-sama, ready to leave?'' Asked Tanjiro

''No, I am stuck with some projects at my class, and I will be home a bit late. You can go without me.'' Said her.

''Well thank you for informing me, I will be going home right now.'' Said him.

''thanks, see you at home Tanjiro-kun.'' Said her.

In the way home.

Tanjiro thought of everything that has been happening to him and he wonders where this would lead him.

''Well I haven't seen a real demon in these areas for a while, so this is good at least. No one is getting killed.'' Thought him.

However his thoughts were soon gone out of the widow he smelled blood coming not far from where he was at.

''Blood! What is the meaning of this?!'' Thought him.

Tanjiro ran to see where this was coming from and he arrived at Kuoh park, where he saw something horrible.

''What!'' Scream in shock.

He saw Issei, his classmate being stabbed by what appeared to be a light sword. The person wielding was a woman with some really revealing clothes and she also had black wings like a crow. Tanjiro of course went to check on Issei.

''Iseei!'' Scream Tanjiro.

He soon bent down to see if Issei was ok.

''Issei! Please talk to me! Are you ok?! Please, please!'' Asked him pleading.

He saw Issei wasn't responding and he saw he was too late.

''What have you done?'' Asked Tanjiro in tears while he look in anger at the woman.

''Ha Ha Ha, you´re crying for him?! Humans are really fragile.' Said the woman.

Tanjiro just got his hand on the holt of his sword, preparing for his attack while his sniff the air.

''She is not human at all. What is she?" Asked him.

Soon the woman who was called Raynare saw Tanjiro putting a hand on his sword and she couldn't help but chuckle.

''Oh you have a sword? How cute, what are you going to do fight me?" Asked Raynare with a cocky tone.

''Why did you kill him!'' Scream Tanjiro.

''Because he can be a really dangerous threat for us in the future, killing him was the only option.'' Said her with no remorse.

''that's not true! Issei has a good hearth! I know that! You´re saying nothing but lies!"' Said Tanjiro pissed.

''You are really starting to annoy me human.'' Said Raynare.

''Why do you take the life of someone who did nothing to you!? Tell me?" Asked Tanjiro.

''Its not like he did nothing to me, he would be doing something to me in the future. Killing him now was the only option.'' Said her.

''This is a lie! Each one of us know what we will be doing in our future, I am sure Issei wouldn't go around attacking people just for fun!'' Said Tanjiro.

''Oh shut up and die.'' Said her forming some light attacks.

Tanjiro managed to dodge those attacks and soon prepared his breathing techinique.

''Water breathing 4 form: Striking tide.''

The lighting attack were soon destroyed by Tanjiro water slashes, much to Raynare shock and confusion.

''What!'' Scream her.

The Fallen Angel retreated for a moment and looked confused on what just happened.

''Did he just broke lighting?! Asked her.

She looked at the sword he was wielding and look even more confused.

''No, that can't be a holy sword! It's a katana!'' Thoguht her.

She was starting to lose patience, but Tanjiro was the one with no take backs.

''Its over!'' Said him.

''What are you? A new form a Japanese exorcist?'' Asked her.

''No, I am a demon slayer!'' Said him.

''Demon Slayer?! Is called devils you´re idiot!'' Said her.

''Water Breathing 1 form: Water Surface Slash!''

Tanjiro soon went at full speed towards Raynare and even managed to cut her right in the stomach, her BDSM suit even got a little bit torn out, showing more skin.

Slash!

''Argh'' Said her in pain.

Raynare saw her stomach and wonder why it was bleeding.

''Why this is burning so much? This isn't like a holy sword! What the fuck is this katana?" Thought her.

''Ok, I got her in a nice position.'' Thought him.

''Wait, what are you going to do?" Asked Raynare.

''I am going to cut off your head.'' Said Tanjiro.

''Like hell you will!" Scream her making more and more lighting spears.

Tanjiro saw those attacks and he knew he need it to dodge them fast.

''Water Breathing 3 form: Flowing Dance.''

The movements and swings were now like a perfect symphony, Tanjiro was able to cut and destroy every spear aimed directly towards him and suffer no damaged.

''He is fast than the average human! I need to get the hell out of here!"' Thought Raynare making a flash of light to distract Tanjiro.

Flash

''Argh my eyes!'' Scream him.

Tanjiro saw Raynare flying off into the distance.

''This isn't over human! Mark my words! We will meet again!"' Said her.

''Come back! Fight me!'' Scream him.

Tanjiro only looks in confusion, another creature that wasn't a demon since the sun hasn't fully come out yet. What it is with this city?

''What is she and why would she kill an innocent person?" Thought Tanjiro.

Then he started to cry because he remembered that Issei body was still on the ground and he was now dead.

''I failed again….'' Thought Tanjiro all sad.

Tanjiro turned around to check on Issei, but weirdly enough he wasn't there.

''Wait where is Issei body?" Thought him.

The demon slayer didn't know but Issei was sent to a more interesting place than either Heaven or Hell.

So what do you think of the chapter. In the future I will explain why the Nichiri Blades do a lot of damages against supernatural creatures. Let me just say these things are more powerful than the actual full Excalibur from King Arthur himself. Plus, the breathing technique just boost their power.

Next chapter is finally the time where Taniro and Rias meet up, I hope you all have a good time.
