Chapter 21
Night infiltrator
The morning after Yang's and Reese's make out session, Yang suddenly woke up and rushed straight to the bathroom.
"What's going on sis?" Ruby asked
Reese at that moment went straight to his wife's side knowing what's affecting her.
"Follow me I'll tell you." Reese says.
They both rounded the corner to see Yang looking a little bit miserable.
"What's going on Reese?" Ruby asks.
"Morning sickness your sister is pregnant." Reese says.
Ruby's eyes then got a little bit larger, Reese anticipated that this would happen.
"YOU…Muupphhhh." Ruby was about to say.
Reese got his hand over ruby's mouth just in time.
"Yang has requested that she wants to keep this a secret for the time being until she is ready to announce it." Reese says.
Ruby then nodded.
"So what do you want me to do?" Ruby asks.
"I suspect that everyone else is waking up and are gathering in the kitchen stall them." Reese says.
Ruby then left and went to the kitchen and loe and behold everyone was there.
"Hey there is my little rose! How are you?" Tai asks.
"Doing good I just sleep in a little." Ruby says.
"Bet that felt good. Here is your favorite pancakes with strawberry jam on them." Tai says.
"Where is sunny dragon and spec ops? (Tais nicknames for Yang and Reese.)
"They are still asleep." Ruby says.
"Humm never seen Reese sleep that long he is usually awake by 7." Weiss says.
"How do you know that?" Blake asks.
"Well when I was on the drop ship with him I spent some talking to him." Weiss says.
"Makes sense." Blake says.
Soon the table then made small talk while waiting for Yang and Reese to "wake up", meanwhile upstairs Reese was trying to get Yang ready.
It was harder than expected.
Her senses were overwhelmed to the point that Yang wanted to bury her head under her pillow.
"Patty solutions." Reese says.
"I don't know what to do I'm a military tactical computer not a medical dictionary." Patty retorts.
Reese looked at Yang and she was curled up into a ball.
"Do your guts hurt?" Reese asks.
Yang nods.
"Here lay down on the floor as flat as you can get." Reese says.
"What are you going to do?" Yang asks.
"I'm going to give you a comfort rub your body is overwhelmed right now so I'm going to rub various points on your body so they can reset." Reese says.
Yang was skeptical at first but a worried look from her husbands face made her change her mind, so Yang got on the floor but she had a hard time relaxing.
Reese was ready for this so he rubbed yangs scalp and she relaxed, Reese then rubbed various points around yangs body mainly the pressure points that control functions of the body.
Soon Yang was now smiling the pain she felt went away and she was toltaly relaxed.
"Where did you learn how to do that?" Yang asks.
"When we were flying high above the world looking up medical procedures, I looked up alternative medical practices and I learned about pressure points so that's what I did." Reese says.
Reese then gave Yang a hand up and looked at her.
"Now let's get washed up and get ready for the day." Reese says with a grin.
They both then got ready and got breakfast, much to Tai's annoyance.
"You know breakfast was over thirty minutes ago." Tai says.
"Yeah it was and i'll clean up." Yang says.
They both sat together and ate whatever breakfast Yang made, for Reese this was a moment that he will never forget, he felt like he had his own family one that he can care for, and he hoped Yang felt the same way.
"This feels strange." Yang says.
"How so?" Reese asks.
"Well this feels like a normal life no excitement just tranquility." Yang says.
"So she was thinking the same thing." Reese thought to himself.
"Yep I bet this is how a normal family operates." Reese says.
"Your right Reese it was like that when I was married to summer. By the way it's a nice day you want to put up the memorial?" Tai asks.
"Yes I'll just finish up here and get ready." Reese says.
Yang and Reese then finished eating and they both went back to their room where Yang picked out her yellow sundress and put it on and for Reese well it was different.
"Well darn I should have packed my uniform with me when I was back at the facility." Reese says.
"What are you going to do then?" Yang asks.
"Probably this." Reese says as he steps on his armor.
It then attached to him as usual.
"Run program uniform." Reese says.
Then the armor flickered and it changed to a gray uniform that resembles the Atlas officer uniform.
"Is that for real?" Yang asks.
"No it's a hologram not real. Works great for undercover work." Reese says.
Reese then holsters his DEW on his side then he walked out of the room to see everybody in their Sunday best, Reese then found the box that contains the memorials that he and Tai made the day before, everyone then left the house and started to walk to the site of the memorial, now while patch has a cemetery Reese wanted to put the grave sites in a unknown location Tai suggested the site of summer rose location. The forest then parted and there it was a lone grave site, Reese then walked up to it and read the inscription.
"Here lies Summer Rose thus I kindly scatter"
"You want to go first?" Tai asks.
"No I'll go next do your thing." Reese says.
Tai,Yang, and Ruby went up to the grave and did whatever they did, Reese could not see what they were doing but Reese could see Ruby wipe some tears away.
After a few minutes they came back.
"Your turn Reese." Tai says.
Reese then walked up an kneeling down to Summers grave whispered.
"Your daughter is strong I'll keep watch over her." Reese whispers.
Reese then opens the wooden box to reveal three large stones of that are made of granite with gold engraving in the rocks.
And those engravings said "C,K,J those who died in the line of duty protecting those who could not."
Reese then took out a combat knife and dug perfect holes for them and covered them up just so one can see the words.
Reese then got up and saluted them for ten seconds in silence, then he unholstered the DEW and took aim into the sea and charged a shot.
PEWWEEP!

Reese then walked back to Yangs side and held her hand just then Weiss walked up to the stones and lays white flowers on the sites, Blake followed shortly after with purple flowers, then Yang with yellow, and lastly Ruby with red roses for them, at this point Reese could not hold his tears back and they started to trickle down his face.
After they got done Tai then took everyone out to a nice restaurant and paid for lunch.
"I wonder how jaune and his team is doing?" Reese asks.
"Yeah now that you mentioned it, I haven't heard from them after Atlas." Weiss says.
"Has anyone thought to call them?" Tai asks.
Everyone then lowered their heads in a little shame.
"We were to busy trying to save Ruby." Blake says.
Reese pulled out his phone and activated the GPS trackers for Jaune's team.
"Mission tracking shows they're flying over the sea right now heading….our direction." Reese says.
"Can you call them?" Yang asked.
"Airlines usually charge triple when your flying." Reese replied.
"To the caller right?" Ruby asks.
"No to the receiver. So if I was to call Nora or Jaune they would be stuck with the bill." Reese says.
"Oh." Ruby says as she resumes eating her cheesecake.
"When will they arrive?" Yang asks.
"Well they will be here in three hours." Reese replied.
Tai then leaned back on his chair and sighed.
"So the house is going to be packed?" Tai asks.
"Yeah it is but I'm not going to ask you to do it if you don't want to." Yang says.
"No I'll let them in especially after the chaos that happened in Atlas. I'll have to go shopping for some supplies to make due." Tai says.
"I'll help with that." Reese says.
Tai and Reese left the house to get food and supplies for everyone in the house, by the time they got done team J,N,R was on approach to the airport, and Reese was going to greet them.
When Reese arrived at the airport the security stopped him at the door.
"Where are you going? Do you have a ticket?" Said a guard.
"I'm here to pick up my friends who are now just arriving." Reese says in his calm manner.
"Flight number?" Said the other guard.
Now Reese was not ready for this.
"Well umm you see I forget the flight number that my friends told me before they left." Reese said as he stalled for time.
But Patty was watching and she found a convenient holo pillar next to Reese display the number.
"Look kid if you don't have the number then get lost." The other guard says as he reached for his taser.
Reese then looked at the pillar and saw the number
"Ah now I remember Alpha, Tango,4333." Reese says.
The guards didn't look convinced, someone who forgets then suddenly remembers the number.
"Kid I think you should get lost before we arrest you." The guard says.
Reese was now sweating, but Patty saves the day again.
"Let him through he is private security for some guests." Patty says with a copy of the voice of the head commander.
"Why weren't we briefed on his guests and their security details? And why didn't he present his credentials?" The guard asks.
"Because his credentials are classified and are not to be known, now let him through." Patty says.
The guards then relaxed.
"Sorry sir we weren't aware of why you were here." The guard says.
"That's alright we all make mistakes." Reese says as he walks in.
Reese then looked up and saw the arrivals and found Jaunes flight, and just before Reese left the board flickered with a message. "You owe me." It said.
Reese looked up at the camera and mouthed.
"What do you want?"
The board went silent.
"Humm maybe she will tell me later." Reese thought.
Reese then found the arrival gate and waited.
"Damn I should have brought my scroll, I could be playing a game on it." Reese says under his breath.
But instead he watched the news and it just so happened that they were covering the Atlas attack.
"The death toll has now risen to 50,000 as the Grimm have been ether have been pushed back or the military is hunting the last of the Grimm down." The news caster says.
"Well that tells me winter is a good leader." Reese thought.
"But as of right now Atlas will be in a state of repair for a long time." The newscaster finished with.
"Aw man I had a job interview there in a few weeks!" Said one passenger.
"It's going to take months for them to get back on their feet." Said another.
"That looks worse than the attack on beacon." Said another.
That last comment hit Reese a little hard, mainly because he was there for it and the fall of atlas.
"Flight AT4333 is now arriving and are preparing to disembark." Said a lady over the intercom.
Reese then picked up a white board that he got from the front desk and wrote on it J N R.
Now comes the waiting game.
The passengers then came out and reese was now on the lookout for the golden blond hair that Jaune has plus one energetic Nora and a zen like master Ren.
Reese didn't have to wait long when he heard a voice.
"Did you that one large Grimm Ren!" Nora says.
"Witch one? There were many large Grimm." Ren says.
"The one where it was a dragon." Nora says.
Reese then remembered the one they encountered on the highway, that one still makes Reese flinch a little bit every time he thinks about it.
"I wondered what happened to it?" Nora asks.
"It was shot down by me." Reese says as he walks up to the team.
"Really?" Nora asks.
"Yes. it was after ruby." Reese says.
"Did it get her?" Ren says out of concern.
"No it didn't. look I'll talk when we get to the car." Reese says as he walked towards the doors.
As they were driving back to Tai's house Reese then told the group what has happened in the past five days.
"So there were trackers inside of ruby?" Jaune asks.
"Yes." Reese says back.
"And you got them out and now you think she is safe." Ren says.
"Hope so." Reese says.
Night was falling when they got back to the house and from what Reese could see everyone were all around to living room table playing some sort of board game.
"Look who is here." Reese says.
Yang then jumped up and gave Reese a hug.
"Hey sweetheart I missed you." Yang says.
Now Reese was gone for like an hour and for him that's not very long.
"I missed you to honey." Reese says as he hugs her back.
Blake was staring at Yang like really hard as if she is focusing on something, but Reese saw it. Blake's faunas senses were picking up a change in the environment.
Reese then looked at Blake and she looked back at him, Reese then gave the shush gesture to her and Blake nodded.
"Let's go out for a walk." Yang says.
Reese then shrugged and went with her.
Both were out for quite awhile and when they got back to the house it was dark.
"So I felt you move your arm up while I was hugging you, care to tell me what that is about?" Yang asks.
"Well I noticed that Blake was looking at you a little to hard, so I remembered that faunas have heightened senses and she knew something was different about you." Reese says.
"What do you mean? She has been around me when I have worn perfume." Yang says.
"Not that scent." Reese says as he looked at her abdomen as a hint.
"You mean." Yang says as she puts her hand on her stomach.
"Yes she probably knows." Reese says.
"Well I got to go stop her before she says anything." Yang says she turns on her heel.
Reese then put his hand on her shoulder.
"I know you want to keep it a secret but if you confront her it will create more problems." Reese says.
"So what do we do about it?" Yang asks.
"Do nothing they will look at us for a confirmation, and we will deny it until your ready." Reese says.
Yang then turns around and puts her head on his and sighs.
"This is so hard." Yang says.
"I know it sucks, i wish life was easy." Reese says.
Two weeks later.
Everyone at the house has temporary jobs doing huntsman work and it works out for everyone.
Reese would do recon work then he would pass on the information to team RWBY and JRN so that they can clear out whatever problem the Grimm is posing, one change is ruby would stay back away from the Grimm, (Reese suspected she is still afraid of Grimm), but it worked out the teams get paid and help out with other events in the town.
After some time Reese got a new security device so that he didn't have to wake up at 2AM and do a perimeter check to make sure that no one was sneaking around.
So Reese got an idea.
One morning Yang was looking for Reese and was having a difficult time finding him, but she heard the faint sound as something was on the roof. She then went outside and found Reese on the roof installing a motion detector on the roof that connected to the rest on the ground.
"You know Reese, those will be triggered when a squirrel runs across it." Yang says.
"I have it calibrated to trigger when someone weighs more than 110 lbs." Reese says back.
"So is it rigged to contact emergency services?" Tai asks.
"Well it will but it will sound a silent alarm in my armor and helmet." Reese says.
"Are you getting close to done yet?" Yang asks.
"Just about, Patty is the system online?" Reese says.
"It's online." Patty says.
Reese then slid off the roof and landed next to Yang.
"How did you master your landing strategy?" Yang asks.
"Eh guess it's my enhanced reflexes." Reese says as he shrugged.
Three nights later.
Everyone in the house was sleeping peacefully after another day of work.
At around 1:30am someone was stalking around the house looking for something.
Right at two hundred yards out Reese's helmet lights up with a caution.
"Hey Yang are we expecting people?" Reese asks.
"No head back to bed." Yang says.
"Well the security system says that there is something out there and they are closing in." Reese says as he puts on his armor system.
"What are you going to do about it?" Yang asks as she gets up.
"Check it out if it's someone who is lost then I'll redirect them." Reese says.
"If not lost?" Yang asks.
"Then I'll make them leave." Reese responded back.
Reese then went out the side door opposite side from where the alarm was raised, once he was clear of the door he engaged his active camouflage and began to look around.
"Patty keep me updated where the target is." Reese says as he leveled his suppressed 45.
"Target is now 180 yards out and closing." Patty says.
"Are they in the tree's?" Reese asks.
"They are moving slowly around but your radar says no." Patty says.
Reese then activated his thermal optics and looked around all the trees looked normal but one caught his attention.
"Wait one branch is colder than the rest of them. Patty analysts." Reese says.
"Scanning….. that's not a branch that is metal." Patty says.
"Meaning?" Reese asks.
"Meaning that is an artificial limb." Patty says.
Reese was cautious now.
"Yang someone is here and they have an artificial limb." Reese says over the radio.
"Did this person have an scorpion tail?" Yang asks.
"I don't know Patty?" Reese says.
"Yes." Patty says.
Reese then heard a smash in the background.
"Yang?" Reese says.
"Ruby just went into a panic she's saying don't let him near me." Yang says.
Now Reese snapped to alert now he knows that whoever is right there is a threat and needed to go.
Reese now started his approach, flanking right and after moving 25 yards to the right closed in first thing he is going to do is give them a verbal warning to leave then if they refuse then cuff whoever it is and get them away from here.
Right at ten yards Reese activated his external speakers and cranked up the volume.
"Attention unknown you are trespassing turn around or face the consequences." Reese says.
Just then the individual started to run right at the house.
"Tango closing in." Reese says.
Yang then woke up the rest of the house and armed up.
Reese then began his chase after this tango.
"Stop or I'll fire." Reese says as he racks a round into the chamber.
Then something new happened the tango stopped and turns and ran straight at Reese.
PEWW! PEWW! PEWW!
The rounds hit the tango but the aura stopped the rounds (Reese started to use normal dust rounds since the anti aura rounds are hard to get his hands on.)
Reese was ready to dump the mag into the tango but his weapon was knocked from his hands, then a fist came right at him and connected, now Reese was seeing stars.
"That was a heavy hit what kind of training does this tango have." Reese thought.
The second thing Reese noticed was that the tango was running right at the house.
"Yang tango hit me hard they are right at the house." Reese says as he gets up.
Reese then could see that everyone in the house is now gearing up and getting ready for the intruder.
Now after getting his bearings right Reese ran after the tango in a tempt to catch up, but Reese had a plan.
Reese went to the backside of the house and opened the door and got in and noticed that the tango has not arrived yet.
"Yang get to a safe location no windows and don't make a sound." Reese says over the radio.
"What are you going to do?" Yang asks.
"Going dark, you got 20 seconds to get ruby to a safe location." Reese says.
Yang then moved Ruby to the bathroom where there is only one way in.
Reese then turned off all the lights in the house.
Now the night vision was on in the helmet Reese started to scan the house looking for the baddie that might be in the house.
"Reese satellites overhead says that the tango is in the trees looking for a way in." Patty says.
Reese then shouts. "Watch the windows!" Informing everyone what to look out for.
SMASH! That was the guest room.
BOOM! BOOM! a that was gambol shroud firing.
Reese the ran right up the stairs grabbing a concealed weapon that Reese had hidden throughout the house. Now he was at the door and could hear a struggle.
"Patty activate the dragon program put on 70% power." Reese says as he racks a round.
The armor activates and everything was slowed down, now Reese breaks the door down and in a few seconds Reese was able to figure out what is going on. Weiss was against the wall dazed but awake Blake was on the ground trying to fight back, and there is the tango holding Blake on the ground and now he is seeing the guy in black armor after him again.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Those three shots connected and now the tango was bleeding, now came the crazy part Reese ran right at the tango and tackled him right back out the window.
WHUMP! Both had the wind knocked out of them Reese got off and rolled away and jumped up and got ready.
"If you want in that house then your going have to go through me." Reese says as he brought out his katana.
"He he well my queen really wanted me to do this silently but it looks like I won't be able to do that." The tango says.
"That is Tyrian he is wanted for multiple first degree crimes cross the world. Kill on sight is the order from atlas." Patty says.
Reese then ran right at Tyrian to engage him in combat but he was just a little to fast for Reese.
"Too slow." Tyrian says as he kicks Reese.
"Too slow!?" Reese thought.
Reese was about to attack again but stopped midway to process the thought.
"Patty go faster, not slower." Reese says.
"Program at 40%." Patty says.
Now Reese was moving at a slightly faster pace.
PUNCH! KICK! PUNCH! BLOCK! BOOM!
That last part caught Reese off guard, but the armor caught it.
"Be warned his blade weapons have a firearm concealed inside of it." Patty says.
Just then the Tyrian jumped up into the air about to deliver a drop kick.
"Armor mode active." Patty said.
The armor hardened and the kick connected.
SMACK! CRUNCH!
That was the sound of some bones being fractured but not broke, Tyrian was still in the fight.
"AUGGGG! WHY YOU!" Tyrian shouted.
Reese wasn't having any of it, and rushed forward to slice him with his katana.
CLANG! The sword was blocked by Tyrian's tail and now they were in a dead lock.
"Your the one who scouted out the hotel room in atlas were you?" Reese says.
"Yep that was me." Tyrian says as he shoves off from Reese and started to run up a tree.
Reese was faster now and grabbed his tail.
"Your not going anywhere." Reese says as he yanked him away from the house.
Reese sorta miscalculated his new armor strength because Tyrian flew a good 100 yards before hitting the ground.
Tyrian then recovered his bearings just in time to see Reese walking up to him with his katana in hand.
"Your done now." Reese says.
Tyrian then raised his weapon to take aim at Reese.
Now Reese saw this but he was too close and couldn't change course in time, at that same moment his helmet highlighted where the round was going to go, it was going to hit him in the visor somewhere where the armor mode didn't protect.
BOOM!
Reese fell backwards on the ground and didn't move for a moment.
"HEHE HAHAHAHA! I got him the one that caused my queen so much problems." Tyrian says.
But he didn't realize that someone was nearby sneaking up on him.
BOOM!
The round from Yang's gauntlet hit Tyrian square in the chest disabling his arua.
"What the!? Who are you?" Tyrian says while he is surprised.
"I'm his wife and I'm really pissed off." Yang says as she turns on fire.
Yang then dashed forward and delivered a series of punches that were twice as fast being sent before Tyrian could put up a proper defense.
"This is for my sister!" Yang says as she punches him in the face.
Tyrian was now afraid.
"And this is for my husband." Yang says as she hits Tyrian.
The last punch Yang delivered spun him so hard that he ran right into Reese's katana.
SQUASH!
Tyrian then looked and saw the red visor but the right eye was not completely red anymore it was a metallic gray in color.
Reese then removed the sword and pushed him away.
"Yang look away, it's going to get dirty." Reese says.
"No I won't, he hurt my sister so he has to look at two faces before he leaves, and I'm Doing it." Yang says as her hair falls and gives off a dark look.
"Yang, this is very serious. I have orders to take him down, and it's not a good attitude to have." Reese says.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!" Yang shouts.
But before Reese could respond back.
BOOM! WHAP! BOOM! WHAP!
Reese then looks and sees Tyrian have a few new holes in him that were very large from a large caliber firearm.
Reese then looks over and sees ruby with crescent rose still smoking, and now ruby was shaking. Reese then walked over to her and took her weapon away and covered her eyes.
"He… did… things to me… I had to do it." Ruby says as she cries.
"Shushhhh it's over now don't look." Reese says.
Yang then walked over and hugged her sister.
"Take her back to the house, I'll finish up here." Reese says.
Yang then picked up crescent rose and walked Ruby back to the house.
Reese then went back to Tyrian and looked him over and took a picture to send to atlas for the records.
"You have lost, she still wins." Tyrian says as he draws his final breath.
Reese's training then kicks in and he draws his sidearm and takes aim.
BOOM!
The night sky echoes the sound of the shot now the body has to go. So Reese does the only thing that would be appropriate for someone like him for all the terrible crimes he has done. Reese then took some fire dust rounds and ignited them to burn Tyrian's body.
"Roast in hell." Reese says as he walks back to the house.
Reese then opens the door to see Yang with Ruby fast asleep in each other's arms.
"How did they fall asleep that fast must be the adrenaline wearing off." Reese thought.
The rest of the house was still up and after an "all clear" was given by Reese everyone went back to sleep.
Reese decided to sleep alone tonight but he was now wondering what is next and what did Tyrian mean by she won. Reese didn't think much of it and fell Asleep real quick.
