Let's get the easy part out of the way first. The title.

We're absolutely not going to elaborate on that.

You're not going to have to wait very long to find out why.

Despite the fact this is being posted to Gazara12/QuantumLatke's account, 'Sengoku Shuffle: C.R.U.B.B.L.E.' is a fic relay between twelve different members of the Quintessential Quintuplets community. Each of us wrote (or will write) a chapter (or two... or three... or...); the baton was then passed on to the next user. The key part of the process is that each person has complete creative control over where the story goes next, apart from having to follow some basic rules. The main thing is 'yes, and': each of us had to do our best to not do anything to invalidate any previous chapter. We picked each writer by putting their name on a wheel, and letting its spin decide our fate. In a sense, you could say this is a spin-tessential collaboration... tee-hee.

Anyways, the first four chapters are complete; the rest will be written as we continue on. The end goal is to tell a cohesive (albeit extremely silly) story about Miku, and about Fuutarou/Futaro/Futarou, and about a future in which they re-connect.

We'll be posting a new chapter every two weeks.

This fic is rated E on AO3, M on FF.N, and Mature on Wattpad; partially for sexual themes and possibly smut, but also just to cover our butts. After all, who knows what's going to come next? Since almost anything goes, that means we need an appropriate rating. The fic will be marked with CNTW on AO3 for a similar reason; we'll update the additional tags as it goes along.

We hope you enjoy this batshit insane story as much as we're enjoying writing it.
