Somewhere unknown

"Where am I?...Why does this feel so…familiar…" Leon looked around in what looked like a void yet it was not pitch black as you would expect.

Instead his very surroundings were that of stars that dot the skies along with galaxies far off, it was as if he was floating in the middle of the universe itself. "I think I remember. I think d-died, so is this the afterlife?"

What turned into curiosity now turned into worry, Leon realized he couldn't move a muscle, not even a single finger.

"W-Why can't I move!? If I'm dead I should be spirit-like right?" With only his eyes he looked where he could on his body and without a doubt he still had his body even the clothes he wore back in the train.

"Okay just calmed down Leon, I remember sacrificing myself so Philip could be with grandson and before I closed my eyes….," It was small but a little glimpse of what he remembered finally shined into his mind remembering before.

"There were two people through that hole, one had white hair and a robe, probably a cosplayer or something. Then that other person, he looked normal except…..those black wings…" This made Leon think a bit deeper on what he saw but it was short-lived.

"...H…..He…." There was a tiny voice, small yet could be heard if listened closely. Leon could still only look with his eyes trying to pinpoint where it was coming from, he wanted to say something but his body still couldn't move.

"I hear someone, or something…" Again Leon tried to move a single muscle but to no avail. All he could do was look with only his eyes at the sparkling bright void that resembled a universe. "Hel…He….," The voice became somewhat louder but it was as if it was lowering back down a split millisecond after rising up.

"I can't…. understand…." He said now frustrated with no understanding of what seemed to be trying to contact him.

Suddenly without warning he felt groggy, as if he was about to pass out in this void. "I-I think I'm…passing out..again..," The vision blurs every second until finally his eyes close once more. His own body slowly started to fall down, down into the start void for long seconds. His body then started to glow bright like a star, sparkles dancing around his body before finally Leon disappeared from sight, gone as if he wasn't there anymore.

Leon's eyes begin to twitch, the cause being light shining at him from what looked to be a window of royalty like. "Now where am I?," He said while slowly getting up.

It wouldn't be until seconds later he realizes he can finally move and begins to get overjoyed touching all over himself to make sure this was reality. "I can move!!! And…," looking around he sees he is in a very large bed far larger than anything he has slept in.

The size was definitely a triple queen bed with the pillows just as large. Poles that looked as if they were gold stood at the four edges of the huge bed while even holding up a white cloth that was used to make a top. This whole bed felt incredibly soft, anyone who fell asleep on this could sleep like a baby for hours.

"I've never felt something this soft, just where the heck am I though?" Looking around he notices the walls and floors seemed just as royal as the bed, clearly whoever built it spared no expense in making this entire room pitch perfect.

"Wait, I could've sworn I was just somewhere else and yet now I'm here. Did I die and this is….heaven?" Leon wanted to ponder more on this but instead chose to slowly get off the bed. Once standing up he now realized he was in completely different clothes.

He no longer was wearing the same clothes he had before. Now his attire was that of what looked like something you would wear in Greece, in fact the outfit was that of Greek which was a toga with a red strap around his shoulder then down towards his waist with the tip of it hanging halfway below his toga.

"What the!!? My clothes, where are my clothes?" Leon fumbled his toga he had no knowledge of how he got, he didn't want to admit he didn't know who changed him but in the back of his mind he liked how comfy it was.

"Okay don't know if I'm dead or not but someone definitely changed my clothes without even my consent….," Shuttering a bit he scratches his head looking around seeing if his clothes were lying around somewhere.

The door knob suddenly started to turn, shocking Leon out of his search. Looking around frantically the ultimate decision was to hide under the bed and wait and see if whoever was coming in is friendly or not.

Peering slightly to see a bit in secret Leon holds his breath making sure no sound escapes his mouth. A man with brown hair in a tunic far longer than Leon's with also what looked to be Greek like sandals walked through the door. "Alright Mr. Leon should be awake by n…" his voice stopped, pure confusion washed all over his face for the man he was looking for was nowhere to be found.

"What? It was said he wasn't too awake until later in the evening, now he's gone?" This voice now clearly one of a woman voiced her confusion as well. Leon couldn't get a good look not wanting to stick his whole head out and be caught.

The man through the only scene Leon could see now was his ankles that turned around along with another pair. "He couldn't be up and about not with how long metempsychosis works." He said while the sound of paper could be heard rustling together near the woman.

At that moment a gamble was decided on Leon's head, not wait what they were talking about. Looking around he spotted the window was open. It was that or nothing not trusting these strangers. With slow movement he could muster without making a sound.

Leon edged closer and closer to the window as if he was a ninja being stealthy. "Please don't let me be caught, please don't let me be caught!" He said out loud in his voice. Victory seemed assured, getting out with no confrontation but it was never that simple until the two turned their heads.

"Hey!!!" The man said after Leon finally jumped through the window, while he got a somewhat good look at the brown haired individual, the female he could not withstand being in such a rush.

"Ah crap!" Leon yelled out realizing too late he didn't anticipate falling down a two three story building. All he could do was cover his face before landing in a large bush, the very thing easing the impact and not becoming a stain on the pavement.

"Gotta find a hiding place" Leon pushed himself out of the bushes with a few twigs in his hair. Running barefoot through the he made sure if he saw anyone to take a different route through what seemed to be a town or possibly city until he could figure out where he was. "Really wish I put on shoes right now," he could only curse under his breath still moving from hiding place to hiding to hiding place.

All around in the open he saw many men, women, children, and elderly all wearing Greek like outfits, some with color patterns to their liking. "Okay this is pretty weird they're all wearing toga and old century clothes like it's the past or something…" saying before cutting a corner to an open space, far larger than back in what seemed to be the town square.

"Okay I think I'm in the clear. Now just where am….," His voice was cut off as he looked in front of him. He wasn't just somewhere in a city but it seemed to be someplace where the citizens reside in a mountain so far high up the altitution should be making everyone feel wobbly yet they all looked happy and healthy.

Looking down he took in just how high this place was, it made him somewhat nervous as not being used to heights yet couldn't deny the beautiful scenery. The clouds were so visible and hugged around the edge of this mountain and stretched outward so far as the eye can see. One could never imagine building a civilization here yet here it was proven possible.

"Wow! Maybe I am dead and in heaven…" He looked down again this time some clouds parting to reveal another city thousands of miles down below. "Wait another one!!? Just where am I?"

"A place where the gods live," said a female voice so recognizable from the room Leon escaped. His heart sank deep into his stomach, Leon hadn't realized while he was awestruckes by the beautiful scenery he didn't notice someone was coming up behind him.

"Ah crap….," He could only whisper and at the same time was sweating. No choice he slowly turned his head to his left and what he saw without saying made his heart skip a beat.

The woman with a bronze skin color had black hair going down shoulder length, her body dorned what seemed to be spartan armor but different from what Leon remembers. Her armor was that of Spartan yet the top part of her bronze breastplate was open showing off some of her cleavage.

Her arms had bronze gauntlets with carvings he'd never seen before. Single shoulder armor adorned her right shoulder gold color and shone in the sun. Like any other soldier in Greek in a specific era she had on a red cloak on her right shoulder while her toga strapped to her lower armor around the waist was also red in color. The cingulum hanging around her waist and lowered down to her thighs was black in color with bronze circles up and down every length of it.

And finally her leg armor was bronze as well minus the sandal style on her feet for those Leon remembered Spartans wearing something like that.

"W-Well I…I mean…," he could be mistaken for lovestruck but he was more nervous at the fact he got caught while being in awe. This woman walks beside him staring out which confuses Leon, she didn't seem like she was gonna hurt him but rather joined in on his view.

"It is quite the sight, I sometimes come here to relax or think." She could almost be mistaken for a model at work as her hair flowed with the passing wind moving so smoothly. Leon decided he would play along just to be on the safe side. "Yeah, it's incredible how people made this."

The woman could only chuckle at his comment, finding it amusing. "More like the Greek gods built this place silly." This could only have Leon raise an eyebrow, she said Greek gods as if she knew for a fact what she said held no lies.

"Okay wait, did you say Greek gods as in the literal Greek gods made this place!?" The woman simply brushed her hair back looking at him with a smile on her face "Well you certainly don't think random humans made this now do you?" One could think with how technology is advancing mankind could in theory do this but with how the place looked it would be foolish to try without metal and steel so high up on the mountain.

x"But if that's the case then this place is….mount Olympus in Greek mythology…" His answer was answered with a simple nod from her, it was hard to believe that his myth was actually real and he was standing on the very mountain of the Greek pantheons.

"Wow! This place is actually it, and I'm standing on it" Leon couldn't help but let out some excitement from this revelation. A mortal man standing here was jaw dropping with no words to describe, however that was short lived as the woman stood up.

"Alright now that you had your fun it's time to go back," She said with her hands on her hips. Finally snapping back from his excitement Leon slowly turned to her "Uuuuuh, would it be okay to I don't know…. walk a bit more…" those words fell on deaf ears as she grabbed his shoulders, he tried to move but couldn't move a inch from her powerful grip.

"Yeah no we need to get you back so Queen Hera can see you." She said before Leon said to her "Wait! Queen H…." His words cut off as she pulled him back with such ease. Clearly seeing how she did that without breaking a sweat Leon could only look over his shoulders knowing he is outclassed here being dragged away.

Back in the bedroom

"Hey I know what I did was sneaky but do the windows really need to be barred up like that?" The windows that he escaped in were now barred up by some type of magic. The very same woman who had dragged him back was standing in front of him as extra security just in case.

"Just for security and safety reasons, if you jumped out of a three story building you could have broken a bone or been killed." She said with honesty in her voice, she wasn't entirely wrong because what he did was in a way very dangerous regardless of whether he trusted her and the other man who was standing in front of the door.

"Haha she's right you know, quite the escape attempt of the hour you even made Achillia there have to get a tiny bit serious to track your movements." That was the name of the black haired beauty in armor standing guard. "Heh yeah I was completely nervous of strangers I never met Mr…..?"

Leon asked the man to which he responded "Ah my apologies, my name is Hermes Greek god of messengers," he bowed politely and this made Leon look on in shock, his first Greek god encounter since waking up. "The Hermes!!?" He says to which Hermes nods and bows "The very one, I was to make sure the message of your awakening got to queen Hera Mr. Leon." His voice was that of some elegance yet with a humorous tone to it.

Achillia shakes her head chuckling saying "Careful Hermes I think he needs process to know where he is." She says though within seconds the door slowly opened, without a word both Achillia and Hermes bowed their heads towards the one and only Hera.

Like the day when she first saw Leon she wore the same dress that hugged every inch of her body right down to her legs.

"My Queen Hera, we weren't expecting you so soon!" Achillia said still head low showing respect to her queen. She simply laughs waving her hands "No worries you two I came on my own to meet are new guests, I hope you haven't frightened him too much."

Hermes slightly chuckled at her question "Not too bad though given his situation it is understandable." Leon could not help but look at Hera as if she was the first ever queen he saw in person.

Finally gaining courage he asked Hera "Okay Her, I mean queen Hera I do have somewhat a million questi…," he was cut off from finishing that sentence. While talking she walked up, sat beside him and hugged him while laying his head down onto her ample chest. This made Leon quite embarrassed yet felt relaxed, he wouldn't say but her chest felt almost as soft as the pillows on the queen sized bed.

"Hush now Leon, deep breaths and relaxed my dear," he affection was completely motherly like though remember her history she is the god of motherhood in Greek pantheon so any surprises are quickly thrown out the window.

"Y-Yes ma'am," was all he could say with a slight blush across his cheeks. Growing up with a mother figure that was all completely new and foreign for him, he wondered if all mother's could be this loving and caring for their children.

Letting go she brushed his hair looking him clear in the eyes smiling "Now that you're calm ask any questions and you'll be answered I promise." Not wasting any time Leon asked away how he was in a way supposed to be dead and how he was in a realm that's supposed to be a myth.

"You did pass away on that train I'm afraid dear, but through my ability to transfer a small portion of metempsychosis I was able to reincarnate you into the Greek pantheon homeworld."

If Achillia Amanda Hermes said any of that Leon would have a tiny bit of doubt but hearing it from Hera made all doubt go away with how kind she was. "So I did die….Wait!!! What about Philip and Lucas!? Are they…," Hera answered quickly to not stress him out anymore then he heard from the news "They are safe Leon, both will make a full recovery."

This finally made him breathe a sigh of relief "Thank god I couldn't let Lucas go without his grandfather not like how I did…," he said to which Achillia raised both eyebrows, she didn't say but she was taken back and impressed by his selfless act to save people he just met.

"Yes though because of the incident their memories had to be erased," Hera said with a little sigh of disappointment but Leon simply shrugged it off saying "As long as they're okay that's what matters, but how did that happen? It was as if the train was physically pushed down that hill."

"You have a sharp sense Mr. Leon, it was someone who did it but whether or not it was on purpose we can't really tell," this time Hermes chirped in to fill in those gaps. "Luckily everyone else especially the two you saved are okay and their memories were erased as well," Achillia said walking up.

This only gave Leon to ponder more questions on what happened and why but knew such answers would have to come later. "Well what's done is done, I'm glad you saved my life but…I still have school to attend…" this made Hera chuckle before standing up.

"I know you still have your curriculum to get done so I made special plans to move them all to the city down below." Leon got up from his bed with shocked eyes "Wait wait wait! You moved all the information here even though you guys are!!?" Hermes laughed, crossing his arms saying "I may have helped clear your name from the schools and get your paper worked here asap, they don't call me the messenger god for nothing." His humor could get a chuckle from all but Achillia rolled her eyes at his slight smugness.

"So I'm basically….Leon said to which Hera walked up to him cupping his cheeks saying "Yes Leon, welcome to the home of Olympus and its citizens."

Leon now finds himself reincarnated in the Greek pantheon and from the looks of it will be attending classes here. His adventure in the world of mythology now begins with new experiences but also more questions.
