Early in the morning in Hera's Office there was a silencer in the air. Achillia and Athena stood behind Leon whose gauntlet was being analyzed by Hera the goddess of the Greek pantheon. She eyed it up and down looking it all over. All three were quiet to make sure they didn't break her concentration, at least that's what all three were thinking waiting for an answer.
"Hmmm, I had to look over more than once but my hunch is now more and more clearer than before." Hera finally let go of Leon's gauntlet around his whole arm smiling at the trio.
Leon finally gathered the courage to ask as it was the thing attached to his arm at the moment "So what can you tell me about this weapon Queen Hera? Is it some kind of building mechanic cause of the sword it made?" Indeed was the logical answer to ask, from yesterday back at the training area this mysterious gauntlet seems to make a sword out of thin air possibly due to magic.
Hera waved her hand chuckling at his curiosity, even acknowledging in her mind he wasn't so scared of it like before. "Understandable you would not know this Leon but from the looks of it this gauntlet is a sacred gear."
This caught Achillia's attention from Hera's reveal "I've heard of sacred gears but this is the first time I'm seeing one in person." Leon looked up his sacred gear, he now knew what it was called but he still did not know what exactly a sacred gear really was.
Hera spoke to awe struck Achillia then to Athena "Yes as there are only a very few in existence it's understandable you would never get to see one. But Leon deserves an explanation of what they are, Athena if you would."
Athena nodded understanding right away. "Sacred gears are powers that are bestowed upon humanity to give them a better edge against supernatural beings. The one you may know as 'God' created them very long ago, it's unknown how many he made with only a few handful of them being known. Aside from that sacred gears go into another person when the user does, as such it is completely random who will inherit the sacred gear next."
Leon was taken back by this information, to hear that God exists and made weapons such as these for humanity was something else. In truth he and many others hardly believed in Christianity so if anyone back on earth said something like this you would suspect the person was joking with you or on some kind of drugs but here seeing all this there was no room for doubt.
"So the literal God of Christianity made this huh?" Leon said to himself still looking over his sacred gear as a gauntlet. "I guess since it made a sword it's a creating type?"
This was only a guess anyone could make, not knowing the full potential of something would have your mind swirling with endless ideas. "In due time Leon, for now I believe you deserve to rest a bit after all of your hard work, you as well Achillia." Hera sat on her royal-like chair with legs crossed. "I would like that very much Mrs Hera," Leon said bowing his head in respect to her generosity. "You are the most generous Queen Hera," Achillia said bowing as well.
"Now you two run along now and try not to have too much fun now," She chuckled at her own joke that the two being the opposite gender would do something. It was enough to get Leon to blush, Achillia however looked away to hide her embarrassment "It's nothing like that I swear!" Leon blurted out before bowing his head in sorrow.
Hera laughed at this waving her hand to calm him down "So jumpy, what exactly did you think I meant my dear child?"
Leon could only stutter in his words trying to find something to say. Achillia was having none of it and pulled Leon's sleeve out the door "Thank you Queen Hera but it's best we do as you ask asap." With those last words both headed out the door and closed it.
"My Goddess Hera you tease the boy a bit much like your mother," Athena said keeping her silence until now, she did want to laugh a bit at the sight but didn't want to embarrass the two even more. "Haha it did manage to get him energetic, that is important for a young man his age to be lively."
Athena smirked not disagreeing with her, everyone even gods and goddesses we're all young once and did many things no matter how silly or stupid.
This heart felt moment was interrupted from the sudden knock on the door. "You may enter," Hera called up while stacking some papers atop one another. "Hera and Athena looking as beautiful as ever," Hermes the Greek god of messengers and the very same one that watched Leon jump out the window greeted the two goddesses.
"Ah Hermes good to see you. I assume you have an important message for us?" Hera issued him to come to her desk with mail in his hands.
"I come with a message from your Husband Zeus who is still in Asgard, he should be returning to our realm within tomorrow at either noon or sunset." Hera shook her head at that statement before replying "More like after he has had a few drinks with Odin out in town at his favorite place."
While Odin was known as the all knowing father of Asgard many in the realm of Norse and some here in Olympus knew of his perverted tendency's to admire other women's bodies, an old habit he had ever since back when Asgard and Vanaheim were at war with one another. Zeus had many meetings with Odin to discuss relationships between the realms since they were both ancient mythologies, but he more intended to go out of the town with Leader just as him though Zeus didn't have the tendencies Odin had.
Hermes could only laugh at this knowing all too well how Zeus could be with someone who could be considered an ally or friend. "You know how he is my goddess. Ah, but that was not the only message I had for you," he handed over a bright yellow note to Hera which she took. "Mrs Frejya wanted to make sure she sent a letter before she visited."
Freyja the Norse goddess of Love and War was also an acquaintance of the Greek pantheon. Her and Hera got along quite well and loved to have long talks, even at times discussing how their husbands were sometimes a handful to deal with.
"Ah it has been some time since I last spoke with Freyja I believe over 200 years ago it was." For mortals that was a very long time to be away from someone but for gods such as Hera and Freyja that long could be considered not in contact with the person for a month or two.
Hera opened the letter reading her message carefully. "I see I see, I was wondering if we would have to wait a few more centuries for this to happen even though I'm the one who first brought it up." She then closed the letter placing it on her desk. "You may leave now Hermes, there is much to discuss right now."
Without a single word Hermes bows and takes his leave closing the door gently behind him. Athena finally asked after staying silent listening to the conversation "Seems like your idea is almost inches away Hera." Hera got from her seat and walked towards the window "That it seems Athena, for now we can only see that it happens." She said with a bright smiley looking at the beautiful clear blue skies.
Olympus Realm Lower City at Midnight
School was closed for the day so every student had the day for themselves especially for Leon, Cora, and Elais. Achillia tagged along as well introducing herself though they knew from what Leon had told them both.
"Must say it is an honor to meet the descendant of Achilles in the flesh!" Elais was excited but it was to be expected as he wanted to join the Spartans after graduating.
Cora had to chime in bonking him over the head "Let her breathe will you" Achillia and Leon laughed at this, Cora still being her usual stoic self.
"Ow! Jeez Cora with that kinda strength you should be joining the Spartans instead of trying to be an attendant." He rubbed his head as if he had been hit over the head with a metal hammer.
"Well you guys know Achillia so now I gotta introduce yourselves as well." Said Leon rubbed Elais head almost like he was applying a bandage to the top of his skull. "Naturally, My name is Cora, top of my class and will eventually make my family proud of being an attendant on Olympus."
She pushed up her glasses with a smirk on her face confident in her words. "That's a pretty tall and demanding order to carry out, hope you're ready to deal with it when the time comes." Achillia said back, she didn't doubt her words but knew at that kind of position they expected results.
"Name Elais, I come from a family of warriors and when I graduate will be training to join the Spartans!" He stood up tall and proud to Achillia as if she was his commanding officer, this of course made her nod glad to see someone willing to join.
"I like your enthusiasm Elais, keep that up when you get to the grueling training in the hot sun." Achillia said remembering the time she had to go through that, the Spartans of today didn't discriminate on gender as they cared more about having strong and loyal soldiers in their ranks that fought side by side having each other's backs.
"Pffft no problem on that, I mean look at Cora she has the strength of..." Elais was cut off from being put in a headlock by Cora. "Yeah you try and finish that sentence now Elais," She said with a smirk, Elais could only struggle in her grasp.
Leon chimed in laughing a bit rubbing the back of his head "And these are my two friends, they keep things lively." Achillia couldn't deny that, she didn't say but felt like such a relationship between the two had a somewhat close spark together like there could be more but put the idea back in mind for now.
Looking over his shoulders Leon spots a small shop in the distance "Say what's that over there?" He said pointing at it. This made Cora release her grip spotting the shop "Oh that? mostly antiques and Kefalotyri they sell over there." Leon somewhat remembered that word back when he was a kid but was unsure to know if he remembered eating it.
"I think I heard that word about food?" Elais poked his head cracking his neck "Yep one of the best cheeses from goats milk I will say, you telling me you haven't eaten that in years!? Well I know what we're doing!" Just like that Elais sped off to the small shop like he was leaving all in the dust.
"Geez there he goes guessing the headlock didn't calm him enough," Cora said speeding off after him almost like a parent chasing after its child running off. "Let's not get left behind shall we?" Achillia ushered Leon over running after both of his friends heading towards the little shop. "Wait for me!" He rushed after her trying to keep pace with how fast she was which was no doubt with how strong she is compared to him.
Finally getting to the shop Leon pushed aside the clothes hanging in the front like it was a door to be opened. "Haha I know they have the best cheese here!" Elais rubbed his hands together like he was some sort of collector who just found the treasure he caught after for years. Despite there being other foods like meat and vegetables the cheese had the strongest aroma from them all.
"Settle down young one I got enough meads and alcohol for a group here." A grown bearded man sat behind the counter cleaning off his pan. Despite how small the shop is he did have a door that led to his basement where he could keep all his ingredients stored and safe from anyone foolish enough to try and steal it.
"Pardon my friend here mister he has a bad habit with cheese made from goat milk," Cora pulled on Elais collar making sure he didn't get too close. "Eh no worries girl, and you came to the right place if you want the best cheese and meat made from the best cooker here in the town square hahaha!" His hearty laugh could match his face, a man who is proud of his work and doesn't let anything bother to ruin the mood.
Achillia walked in waving her hands "He's not wrong, winning the best cooking award since we were little isn't that right Mr. Adonis?" Adonis let out another laugh with both hands on his hips "Your damn right Achillia, good to see you again and I told you you don't need to add the Mr."
Clear as day the two knew each other for years, Achillia and Adonis both shook hands tightly as if they were about to arm wrestle. "Same for you two Elais ever so energetic, and Cora the smart lady still," Elais laughed trying to mimic his laugh while Cora smirked pushing up her glasses proud of being called the smart one of the group.
Achillia turned around seeing Leon finally enter the shop ushering him to come forward "Adonis this is Leon the newcomer of our realm who caught the attention of Hera and is being trained by none other then me and Athena though she mostly gives wisdom," Leon awkwardly waved to Adonis, despite him being over six feet tall he however was taller and more built like he never skipped working out a day in his life.
"Ah I heard about you a bit Leon. It's not everyday someone gets chosen, most try to get notice though especially that brat Heracles," He said rolling his eyes at the mention of his name. Leon couldn't agree more despite only seeing Heracles once he gave off that arrogant vibe like he was the superior one.
"Hah don't remind me not sure what his problem is but best to forget about him now." Leon said smiling waving his hands to change the subject which no doubt everyone agrees on.
Suddenly the curtains opened up revealing none other than the god who makes indestructible weapons and armor for the gods Hephaestus.
Achillia, Elais, Cora, and Adonis all immediately lowered their heads to his presence. Leon looked up just finally realizing this person was important and did the same thing though more awkwardly. "Greek God Hephaestus I did not know you would be here in my humble shop, had I known I would've fully prepared something," Said Adonis with the utmost respect. Even Elais while usually the energetic one made sure to be respectful to the god of this realm, this surprised Leon but at the same time knew even he had to maintain some self control.
"Yes yes I appreciate it but I would prefer the hardest drink you have," Hephaestus was clearly not in the mood, with his strength if he got very angry he could turn this entire place into a smoking crater with or without weapons. "Of course, pic any you like is in the house."
Adonis quickly pulled out a big mug deemed fit for a god. "No it's fine, I have the necessary coins." Hephaestus said before sitting down at a table tossing coins into his hands.
Leon could pick up the god who was not in an entire mood and decided to ask Achillia whispering "Is he always like that? If so I can imagine since he is responsible for forging many things for the gods." Achillia shook her head looking back whispering as well "No not really, he is usually more upbeat and proud especially when he talks about his wife Aphrodite."
Even before being reincarnated into the Greek pantheon Leon remembered studying about Hephaestus how he was supposed to be the most ugly god in Greek mythology but looking at him now he wasn't the slightest bit ugly, in fact he was the opposite having a long clean brown hair and beard. Even his body seemed to be well kept but then again him being a god he could decide how he wanted to look.
Adonis as fast as he said what he did presented the strongest alcohol he had to him "Let me know if you need more." Hephaestus gave a nod and gulped down half of the big mug like he was a natural at it, if Leon or his friends tried that they would either black out in seconds or be very drunk to the point you felt like the land itself was moving.
"My God Hephaestus it appears you are troubled, may I ask why you choose a place not in the mountain of Olympus?" Cora walked up calmly like she was well acquainted with him but that was not the case as she was simply not nervous around someone she didn't fear but respected.
A deep long sigh escaped the gods breathe "More like escaping children, to think on what to do..." He then took another giant gulp nearly finishing his big drink. "You wanted to think while getting drunk? I'm afraid gods have a higher tolerance to alcohol than us," Achillia said with a raised eyebrow, she despite rarely seeing him knew this sort of attitude was unlike him.
"I doubt it would do much but why the tartarus not, I lost my beloved item, a ring one could say I spent months on for the perfect woman." Achillia knew first hand who he was talking about none other than the Aphrodite whose beauty knew no bounds in the eyes of both gods and mortals.
Leon felt a bit bad for him now, if this item was that perfect made for someone he cared a lot about he no doubt would be very upset at losing it.
"Mr, I mean God Hephaestus, maybe it's not much but if possible we could help you find it maybe?" Leon walked up beside him doing his best to be respectful yet at the same time being kind to someone in need. Achillia could only smile at this, a newcomer who barely had much asking to find a gods lost item seemed naive yet at the same time was a nice thought to help someone in need.
"Yeah we could maybe help." Said Elais next with a serious yet smile on his face puffing his chest out, Cora flicked his forehead making him wince a little.
"Listen kids I appreciate what you're doing but the item I lost fell off my work shop in Olympus and into the dangerous lands you're not permitted to go too. And even if you did I made sure the item couldn't be detected so easily...you get the idea child." Hephaestus felt defeated, clearly he had been searching long and hard for this special item for the woman he made it for only to be lost for good it seemed.
Leon rubbed his chin even lost from where to even start looking, but then deep in his thought his mind clicked "Wait a special item that fell off of mount Olympus into the dangerous wilds. If that's the case...say Greek God Hephaestus this special item you talk about is it perhaps in the shape of a ring?"
Hephaestus looked up attention now intrigued and an eyebrow raised "Why Yes, though how would you know about that child?" Leon quickly dug through his bag for the ring that was found by Athena then given to him, he was sure just maybe it had to be it.
"This golden looking ring here was found out in the training area I assu...," Hephaestus jumped up out of his seat beaming with joy, the very item he sought for days now in his sight. "By the great Gods of Olympus this is it! My beloved ring for my lovely dove!!!!" Leon and the others didn't need to second guess his reaction, he looked like a giant weight had been lifted off his shoulders.
"Child where did you find this!? Did you perhaps venture out into the outer boundaries of the realm?" The outer boundaries were lands that stretched far away from both the city and the training field, a land where the conditions and beast were very dangerous.
"O-On the beaches, I saw it before heading back and Athena gave it to me." Leon tried holding his composure with a now up close and personal Hephaestus.
Achillia snapped her fingers realizing something "You did say it wasn't easily detected so that would explain how Athena who surveys the land before we arrived hasn't seen it. At lost not until Leon got lucky seeing it on the beaches." Cora nodded in agreement while Elais just went with the flow of the conversation.
"Since it's yours for someone special this item rightfully belongs to you Hephaestus," Leon gave the ring back with a smile to which the god gladly accepted.
"Child, no Leon you have no idea how long I have searched for this. Such gratitude must be paid in kind, speak what you desire and I shall grant it as long as it's within my power."
The idea of getting something from a god was mind blowing to Leon, admittedly he was at a loss of what to ask for. The idea of saying no gift was necessary was tempting but coming from a god the answer No was not acceptable.
"Well...not entirely sure..." Leon chuckled scratching his head lost in thought. "I say a shield," Achillia said out loud smiling with both arms crossed.
A shield wasn't as bad as it could match with his sacred gear that seemed to create swords but adding on a weapon that's created by another god he felt he could be quite stronger.
"Uh...yeah! A shield you can make would be amazing Hephaestus," Though he didn't need Leon bowed again just in case.
Hephaestus pounded his chest sticking it out proudly smiling "A shield you desire a shield you shall have Leon. But no ordinary shield because what you have done here deserves the best! I swear on my name a shield worthy of you shall be made."
Elais clapped his hands in applause on the gift his friend would get in the future. Even Cora had to as well congratulate her friends accomplishment, not only unlocking a sacred gear but also getting a weapon from a well known god was an accomplishment in its own right.
Hephaestus tossed a mountain of coins into the table before walking out "My treat, enjoy yourselves." Adonis eyes gleamed with joy seeing that amount of money despite how good his business reputation was.
"Hope he didn't expect us to drink we aren't exactly old enough yet," said Leon in a good mood all went well. "eh on earth maybe but the drinking age here is actually eighteen," said Achillia shocking Leon with the info.
"Eighteen!? Well I should've expected that here but sadly I'm seventeen so no luck with me," Elais and Cora both the same age could not drink yet so now only Achillia who was the only eighteen year old here had the privilege.
Adonis poured all three a glass of juice instead as it was the most appropriate right now "No worries we got the best juice here. And tell you what when you all are old enough the drinks will be here ready and waiting for you."
Leon, Cora, and Elais had no qualms about that. Achillia with a somewhat strong tolerance to alcohol got a different one less strong to keep her awake.
"To a best and bright future for your destinies," said Achillia holding up her glass for all four to cling their cups. "CHEERS!" With that all four gulped down their drinks in seconds.
"Ah that hit the s...," Leon stopped looking down his bag got knocked over spilling out his papers in a binder. "Hmm? Hey Leon I didn't know you could draw!"
Elais picked up the binder looking at a drawing of the city of Athens and its people. "Oh that. I would've kept drawing but with everything that's going to put it off." Leon chuckled a bit slightly embarrassed at people seeing his art work, for the longest time besides his grandfather he hasn't shown anyone he didn't trust but slowly that was changing with where he was now.
"Wow your quite good Leon, was your dream doing art work?" Achillia said with interest. She was used to seeing art that was used with magic so seeing a traditional artwork was refreshing. "Kinda yeah, been doing art since I was a kid. I hated painting at first but it grew on me along with ink despite the smell."
Way back as a child Leon always found drawing relaxing to escape from reality in the orphanage he grew up in before his grandfather adopted him later on. An old habit that hasn't died and Leon couldn't be any more glad it stayed with him.
"I know some places here who would be glad to see this, though of course you need to finish your curriculum like the others," Said Achillia took her last sip feeling a bit tipsy. "She's got a point man, this is really good stuff." Elais looked through his folder seeing many more drawings from people to animals, Leon was comfortable enough for him to look through especially with the good compliments added.
"If the time comes feel free to ask me for any help deciding what is a good place Leon," Said Cora pushing up her glasses. He nodded back smiling glad to have a smart person giving him help though the others helping as well was very much welcomed.
"You definitely gotta let us see the shield first Leon," Elais said with excitement which was understandable to see the weapon made from a god would be a sight to see.
"Eventually, until then we relax on our day off. Come, let's see what else we can sightsee. Be seeing you later Adonis," Said Achillia putting down her glass. "Anytime, you kids try not to have too much fun," Adonis chuckled watching them leave his shop and he in turn cleaned the desk to look presentable again.
Olympus City Shopping Area
All four walked into the shopping district which was a pact with tons of people looking and buying whatever caught their interest. From figurines of ancient heroes like perseus to many books about the mythical creatures that inhabited this realm.
"I can see why this place is a popular hotspot just look at what they have to offer," Leon looked around wondering what to buy.
"A bit pricey but it's to be expected here. They do not expect anything less but a good style," Cora looked over a book that slightly caught her interest.
Elais rummaged through a stack of books as well that were more expensive than the rest. Cora would scold him to not buy something like that if she wasn't too preoccupied. "Hmmm, Yeah you know what this definitely is." He picked out a book named the attendance of the gods.
Leon looked it over knowing full well what he had planned "Not bad Elais, though you know Cora will say something about the price."
Elais waved it off chuckling "Oh most definitely but she can't say no to this one." He knew it but accepted this was his goal for today, some could call it naive but from time and again Elais tends to not let things get to him and keeps a cheerful smile.
Looking away and examining the shelf's Leon spots a figure of the warrior Achilles "Achillia definitely will like this, I am already getting a gift from Hephaestus so she definitely deserves one for all her hard work training me."
A few minutes pass looking around more just in case. All four managed to find something, buy it, and place it in a bag to present to one another.
"Cora you're probably gonna get on me for this but I got you this," Elais pulls the book he and Leon looked over. Cora's eyes widened and looked at him like he did something good yet crazy.
"You got me this? It's expensive but...thank you," She grabbed the book smiling, she couldn't deny it was a wonderful gift.
"Looks like Elais gets to miss his head lock. Here Leon this may interest you," Achillia pulled out pencils and paper. Though it seemed normal both were magical allowing the led to turn into either ink of pain while the paper could become either soft or hard to avoid bleeding through. "Thank Cora she helped spot it out so we both paid for it."
"Wow! This is something you'd consider fantasy back on earth. Thank you both so much." Leon messed around with the pencil tapping the top made the led turn ink and another tap into paint. "Oh right before I get carried away I got you something Achillia." He pulled out the figure of Achilles her ancestor.
"Well now you know how to make a girl's day Leon haha," Achillia looked it over admiring the well carved Achilles figure made of stone.
Blushing a bit Leon tried to hide it with a laugh "Well I already am getting something from Hephaestus so it's only fair you get something for all your hard work."
Elais chuckled noticing his blushing though this made Cora jab him in the stomach muttering him to tone it down.
"Thank you Leon this was very thoughtful of you," She smiled brightly at him, all Leon could think of how beautiful she is right now with the smile that could be on par with a goddess.
"Alright how about we head to the next area, I hear they have live plays," Elais rubbed his side ignoring the jab.
"I'm game, never been to a live play so this is new to me." Leon had always seen movies from the big screens never seeing actually people performing live in front of an audience so he had to see to judge if he would enjoy it or not.
Pointing to the south of the area Achillia knew where to start looking "Down this way, though we are gonna have to move through a lot of people so everyone stays close please."
Everyone couldn't agree more the thought of getting lost in the crowd was enough already but getting separated and trying to find your friends or loved ones would be a headache in its own right.
All four moved closely with one another to the south of the area for one last sightseeing for the day until morning.
Olympus Vault
Four guards stood tall in front of the giant bronze door, it was the vault which contained many items from the Greek mythology that were both powerful and dangerous enough to kill a God. The very locks were enchanted with high levels of magic mixed with mechanics that only a Greek god of Olympus could open without setting the alarms. All four knew the risk of guarding such a dangerous place but took the job with pride and respect for it. Both strong in their own right and very diligent keeping watch for anything that could be suspicious.
Suddenly footsteps could be heard approaching, inching closer and closer yet there seemed to be no sight of who was approaching.
"Who goes there?" One of the guards was both getting into a battle stance.
The footsteps got closer and closer yet again no sight of who it was. Both knew it was not their god for they would bring a group with them but now was not the case.
"Show yourself this instant!" One guard advanced slowly, he surveyed the area listening to the sound but no sight of who or what was coming.
"Last warning! Who goes th...," The guard who was away from the other three suddenly started choking. "Ack...Who...," He held his throat getting on his knees gasping for air.
"Release him!!!" One guard rushes beside his choking comrade holding out his sword. "I said r...," he stopped his words feeling a sharp pain around his chest. Looking down he sees blood dripping down yet there wasn't anything in his chest. From shock and blood loss he fell to the ground on his back coughing up blood.
"Dammit! Quick sound the al...," The guard in back with his shield dropped it, his throat had been slit spewing blood all over the ground.
The last guard was now terrified and confused not knowing if this was real or a hallucination. He slowly backed away keeping his guard up in front of the door looking left and right, two of his comrades succumbing to their wounds while one suffered from an unknown force choking him.
"Now where do you think you're going hm?" A voice from behind him said with laughter in his voice. He spun around slashing at the mysterious individual only his sword to be cleaved in two as fast as lightning.
"Not very nice of you, let's do something about it," The mysterious stranger seized the guards throat squeezing the life out of him. "Night night guard of the Olympian vault." His final words before snapping the guards neck, all life gone from his body the stranger tossed him against the wall as of throwing away trash.
"Now that we have been taken care of we can now get down to business." The stranger walked slowly towards the still choking guard. He should have been dead by now but this stranger clearly left him alive through the agony of trying to fill his lungs with air.
His face had even turned a shade of purple and his eyes started to become bloodshot with tears streaming down his cheeks, at the moment all he could think about was someone to please end his suffering.
Finally the stranger came face to face with him, his head covered by his hoodie slowly was pulled off by. "Y...You...H...Ho...," The guards eyes widen, the stranger that had him by the throat he vaguely recognized. But he could not say who it was as the mysterious stranger placed his hands on the guards forehead.
"Now then let's see what you saw here hehehe," the stranger said while the guard could do nothing but be at the mysteriousness of this person who had slaughtered his comrades and was now possibly going to do the same to him in a possible more gruesome fashion.
Leon has discovered the power within him is sacred and on the same day was going to be gifted a weapon by the god Hephaestus for returning his ring for his loved one Aphrodite. Yet now there seems to be mysterious works going on in the shadows, will this affect the realm and Leon himself? More things to come in the future.
