I am very disappointed that there isn't more content of these two in the LPS fandom. Kidding! So, wrote some drabbles of Fergutrent after rewatching LPS anddd I wanna share them! Hope there are some fergutrent fans who needed a pick-me-up after getting BARELY any justice. 3
Russell lounges on his pet bed reading his latest book. So far it was a chore. Seriously, what was this main character thinking? Fawning over the male lead like some love-struck pet under Sugar Sprinkle's cupet song. The hedgehog shuddered at the memory. Gross… Who in their right mind would ever look that stupid over love? It's-
"Girls! Look at the new dress Blythe made for me! Isn't it divine?"
Russell looked up from his book, with a monotonous eyebrow raised, to see Zoe prancing around the day camp. His eyes widened and he lowered his book until it was nearly on the floor- along with his jaw. Her hair was done up and curled. Her new beret was sparkling along with a new pink dress; the color brought out her crystalline blue eyes as she flashed smiles to everyone.
The hedgehog found movement in his jaw again, and he involuntarily smiled and his eyelids suddenly felt heavy. Russell's peripheral vision began to blur, and Zoe soon became the only thing he could see. She looked-
"Someone's thiiiiirsty."
He heard a snicker that sounded like Vinnie's, and he was suddenly pulled out of his thoughts. His head snapped to the direction of the laugh, and, lo and behold, the gecko was laughing- along with Sunil.
"What?" Russell squinted suspiciously.
Sunil spoke for his giggling reptilian pal. "Sorry, Russell." He giggled. "It's just we couldn't help noticing how enchanted you were by Zoe's new look."
"Yeah, you look totally head over heels!" Vinnie snickered again.
Russell sputtered, "Wha- what? I'm not "head over heels," "thirsty," or "enchanted" by Zoe!"
Vinnie whispered to Sunil, "He totally is."
"Am not!"
"Are too!"
"Am- ugh, whatever!" Russell grumbled and sunk into his pillow. I'm not in love with Zoe, and I'm going to prove it.
