"What did you just call me!" Zoe growled.

"Sorry, was I not clear, Your Majesty?" Pepper scoffed, "You're! A! Brat!"

Zoe gasped, "Why don't you say that to my face, you- you!"

"You were always slow with insults!"

"Take that back!"

"No!"

Russell sighed as he watched the scene play in front of the pets. Russell watched Zoe carefully until he saw her bare her teeth. Oh, boy. This will get ugly. The hedgehog sighed as he ran to Zoe's side, but the dog's attention remained on the annoyed skunk.

"Zoe…" The spaniel ceased her growling, but her eyes continued to glare daggers. "Come on, Zoe. Let's go to the fire hydrant before you tear Pepper's eyes out." Zoe ignored him. "Zoe, Honey, come on."

That seemed to break her trance, along with Pepper's. The skunk's eyes, and the pets', widened comically at the nickname and Zoe's quick snap out.

"That's better." Russell sighed. Zoe looked at him with the same look the others gave him.

The hedgehog raised an eyebrow, "What's going on with you all?"

Minka was the first to speak up, "You just called Zoe "Honey!"

"No, I didn't!"

"Love, you did." Zoe said cautiously.

"LOVE?!" The others shouted.

Zoe laughed nervously, "Oh, it was going to get out sooner or later. Right, Darling? Darling?"

Russell's pupils were shrunk and his left eye twitched. Oh, boy. "Let's get to that fire hydrant, huh, Russell."

Zoe grabbed his paw and began to drag him away. Before walking off, she glanced at the others. "I'll, um, tell you all later. I got to take care of my hedgehog."
