Chapter 10

"That was the best mac and cheese I have ever had. I'm not just saying that, Mr. Pope, that was just fabulous. Ever consider selling it, selling the recipe? We host so many kid's parties that ask for mac and cheese." Fitz looked at him.

"You're being serious?" Eli began cleaning up some of the dishes. 'Pay for my mac and cheese?"

"I hope I'm not insulting you; it wasn't meant to come out like that."

"Dad, that wouldn't hurt to try. I mean everyone at the shelter, all the friends we have over, even Abby has a stock of it frozen in her freezer. It's about time you make money off of it."

Eli sat back down with Olivia and Fitz. So far everything had gone well, but it was just small talk here and there. Eli didn't miss the details that Olivia couldn't keep her eyes off Fitz. She looked at him like no other. She really did love him, and Eli was feeling some sort of way.

"Olivia tells me you're branching out, going on your own to find some land to build more halls."

"Yes, I am. I am buying my father out, I'm going to own the buildings outright. I'd like to build more in this area. I know Ballard Enterprises is looking more into other parts, but I think it would do the employment rate fair here. Liv has given me a potential list of employees."

Eli nodded his head. "And this little weekend get away, your childhood place?"

"My family has owned it for years. It's out of the way of the business of life." Fitz cleared his throat. "We could all use it."

"Dad, Fitz is meeting tomorrow with Denison Payne. They're going to discuss the areas that would be best to build the new places."

Never letting his eyes leave Fitz, Eli nodded. "And you, are you still meeting with Destiny tomorrow?"

"I am." Liv said with enthusiasm. "Looks like the book will be completed tomorrow." Liv shrugged. "Still can't believe it."

"Well believe it." Eli pat her hand. He turned again sternly to Fitz. "She's worked hard, many years on this. She needs to.."

"Dad. Please don't."

Eli closed his eyes. "Ok, fair enough. We seem to have many people in common, more than I was aware of. You knowing them as neighbors, me knowing them as donors. I won't lie, many of them say the same thing about you."

"I know, that I'm bad news, a spoiled privileged brat, always in trouble. I am not naïve to what is said about me. I know who I am, I know the reasons I do things, and I don't regret it. Just realize that there are exterior factors that weigh in. Sometimes the press listens to the wrong part.' Fitz looked at Liv and smiled. "I assure you Mr. Pope, I'm putting my anger issues behind me."

Liv's eyes met his and she just let them dance with his. Her head tilted and rested on his shoulder. "Dad, it's getting late. I have some more packing to do. I'm doing some lunch prep at the pantry tomorrow before my meeting. Can we…"

"One more thing." Eli stopped Liv who took an annoyed deep breath. "Ethan."

"DAD NO!" Even Fitz jumped a bit never hearing Liv's voice so loud and angry. "NO! You're out of line."

Fitz took a hard swallow. He wouldn't be lying if he said he wasn't intrigued, but this was the reason for the weekend, to learn about one another, to really fall in love, and to make love. Fitz looked at Liv, waiting, watching her breaths become shallow again.

"Fair enough." Eli stopped. "Just know, she doesn't need drama Fitz, in any way, for any reason. The book deal is enough, but Olivia has a reputation in the community, one that surpasses the word good. I don't expect.."

"You won't get any problems from me, not intentionally. I truly hope you believe that." Fitz stood up and he was relieved Liv did also. He reached his hand out to Eli's. "Thank you for dinner, it was exceptional. Please consider the mac and cheese offer, I would love to have it."

Liv interlocked her arm with Fitz's. "I'm going to walk Fitz out dad, then I'll take care of the rest of the clean up."

"Wait, one more question." Eli saw the envelope he received in the mail today. "Galaxy Industries is a very big sponsor for the shelter and pantry. I received a revised wedding invitation for Buckley's daughter. Your Atrium isn't hosting it. He went with Ballard Industries."

"He did." Fitz didn't go any further. He looked down at Liv. "Ready."

It was a gorgeous night out. Liv's back was on Fitz's body leaning on him while he leaned on his car. They were star gazing as his hands were around her, resting on her stomach.

"Thank you so much for entertaining him, I know he can be a nuisance." Liv's hand was rubbing Fitz's jawline from behind.

"He loves you, that's not being a nuisance. I had a good time tonight. The food was outstanding."

"Yeah, my dad prides himself on his cooking." She turned now, their lips just inches apart.

"I'm looking so forward to this weekend." Her hand had made its way to the back of his neck. She couldn't hold back anymore and finally her lips were locked with his. His warm tongue entering her mouth as she moaned. She felt his hands cup her ass and she loved it all.

"This weekend will be good; I can feel it. Then next weekend you're in your own place."

"And I'll be an author."

"And you'll be an author."

"Hey, how did that thing with Jeremy and all that turn out."

"Still waiting for some down fall from it. Nothing is ever over when Jeremy's involved. He expects me to believe he is working in Arizona now; I know damn well he's conniving something with Raquel. Anyway." Fitz kissed her. "I'll text you later."

The next day Eli met up with Olivia at the food pantry just to calm any anxiety she may have before finalizing the book with Destiny.

Eli Pope was never one to hold back the truth. He raised his daughter that above all, truth matters and to always be true to her feelings, people around her, and to him, especially him. He was watching his little girl now. She wasn't so little anymore, but she would always be his little girl.

Taking a deep breath before joining her in recording the inventory for the food bank, he could tell there was a change in her. Ever since she took that motorcycle ride, she came back a different person, a happier person. She was in love, and he knew it. Last night at dinner sealed that for him.

Fitzgerald Grant had won her heart, something no other man could do. He had hoped it would be Ethan, but that turned out to crash and burn, and Eli had only himself to blame for the hurt he brought into Liv's life because of that.

When those heart shaped violets arrived from Fitz, four dozen of them, Liv's face lit up in happiness. She turned to him, and he could see the happy tears in her eyes. "He remembered dad, he remembered my favorite flower." Her head went down, and she was staring at the purple flowers as if they were her newborn baby. It was always about the little things with Olivia. At least Eli remembered to thank Fitz for the flowers last night at dinner.

Even though Liv would be leaving in two weeks, moving to her own place, she decorated the rooms with the flowers. One bouquet in each room, "so he can be all around," she smiled, proud of her work, as Eli wondered if this was going to crash and burn also.

The dinner last night went above Eli's expectations of Fitz. He is respectful, understanding, and no doubt also in love with Olivia. If Liv could see the good in Fitz, Eli should also.

Before walking to the inventory spot, Eli noticed DC walk in and for the first time since he's known the boy, Eli had a bad feeling about him. It was a feeling he should be having about Fitz, but it resonated more, somehow, with DC.

Eli couldn't understand it. DC had been part of their lives for years. He practically raised the boy, but he was getting bad vibes from him, suddenly, and Eli didn't like it. He watched DC sneak up behind Olivia and poke her side, causing her to jump and smile, because she was so ticklish. She could never see the bad side in DC even if there was one.

Olivia swatted at him and pointed to the clip board on the wall signaling DC to help out instead of playing along. When Eli saw DC stand too close to Olivia, that's where he took a step in between them.

"Oh, hey Mr. Pope, uh, just helping out with the inventory." DC looked at him confusingly, "everything ok?"

"Just fine." Eli took the clipboard from Olivia. "I'll take over from here. Can you go into the kitchen, Nicole is ready to begin the sandwich making. Also, can you make sure we have enough potatoes for dinner tonight?"

Once Olivia was out of the room, Eli turned sternly to DC. "Just what in the hell do you think you're trying to do to Olivia?" He paused waiting for DC to come up with an answer he wouldn't believe anyway.

When the door swung open, and Liv saw Abby walk in she was pleasantly surprised. "Abs, why are you here?" She walked over to her giving her a hug and her belly a rub. "Hey my girl in there, Aunt Liv is waiting." Looking back up at Abby, she asked "Is everything ok?"

Abby looked around and figured it was fine to talk not seeing DC there. "You haven't called me, what's been up?"

"Nothing, been with Destiny the past two days, one week and you're looking at an author of a finished book. We are putting together a book tour right now. I'm going back tomorrow and working all day with her. Friday I leave for…."

"Your get away with Fitz. Are you even going to get out of the bed for the weekend?" Abby wondered.

"God, I hope not." She gave Abby a little elbow nudge and nodded over to the counter. "Come, talk, I need to make sandwiches for the lunch crowd." Liv pointed to a chair to let Abby sit.

"DC around?" Abby asked not seeing him in the kitchen.

"Yeah, out with inventory with my dad, you need him for something?" Liv was on the phone half the night with Abby telling her all about the dinner, she never once mentioned DC, why now.

"No, not at all, just the other night when I hung up with you, remember I thought it was Door Dash, it was him, and he was weird."

"Ok." Liv put some turkey on the bread and moved it down the line. "Define weird and why are you only telling me this now? I was on the phone with you all last night"

"Yeah, well you were happy dinner went well, and I didn't want to.. anyway the other night. All of sudden he started talking about Ethan, asking if you truly loved Ethan when you two were dating. If you did love him how could you put a love like that behind you and have feelings for Fitz. He went on saying how you've known Fitz less than a month."

"A month today, to be precise." Liv smiled continuing to make the sandwiches.

"Anyway, he was all weird about it. Then he just sat in silence for a bit, got up and walked to the door. Before he left, he turned and looked at me. In due time, Liv will realize her mistake with Fitz, and we have to be there for her Abby. Then he just left."

Liv stopped briefly for a moment and turned to Abby. "What the hell is that supposed to mean?"

"I don't know, that's just it. It's almost like he stopped shy of saying that he would come between you and Fitz if he had to." Abby shrugged. "It was just weird."

"Well, let DC join the line of anyone coming between us. I'm sure Raquel Falcon has some things up her sleeve. I don't care, we're making it clear this weekend with one another that it's going to be just us." Abby saw the squint in Liv's eyes, and knew she was down bad.

Liv went back to making the sandwiches while Abby began texting Leo on her phone. They didn't notice the door to the kitchen open. Fitz just stood there watching Olivia make the sandwiches. He was in complete awe of her, how she took to giving to others so naturally.

As if his smile attracted her eyes, she looked up and saw him. She smiled bigger than he did, and she walked towards him. Abby watched the exchange, and she noticed Liv, her body language, her smile, her look, and it confirmed it, Liv was head over in love with Fitz. Good luck to anyone who tried to change that.

"What are you doing here?" Liv interlocked her fingers with his one hand that came out of the pocket.

"Just was in the neighborhood, looking at potential places to build the new hall and I decided to check in. I wasn't sure if you would be here or with Destiny, but I took the chance anyway."

"Good, want to help make sandwiches. We have about 150 expected for lunch today, we could use the help." Liv stopped before leading him to her station.

"I.." he paused. He wouldn't be caught dead in a food pantry a month ago, let alone helping make the food. He licked his lips and looked around. He thought of the sight when he first walked in watching Liv make the food with such care.

If she cared about it, he would have to care about it. "I have about a half hour before meeting with Councilman Payne, I couldn't think of a better thing to do with my half hour." He shrugged letting her lead him with her.

"Hey Abby." Fitz smiled at her. "How's the little one? How are you feeling?" Fitz watched Liv's lead in making the sandwiches and began with her.

"All good, everything is good. Leo is outside. We have an ultrasound in an hour. First, he needs to feed us." She gave Liv a quick hug, whispering in her ear. "You don't leave Friday until I get to see you."

Liv looked up at Fitz. "Thank you so much for doing this, I know you didn't come here for this." She leaned her head on his forearm as he made the last of sandwiches.

"Ah, every time I've been here, I've had to do something, so I knew today wouldn't be any different. I've done things I've never thought I would be doing." He looked down at her. "Thanks to you."

"Me?" Liv pointed at herself. "I don't make you do it, you can say no."

His forehead touched hers. "As if I would never say no to you." They heard a throat clearing and looked at Nicole watching them.

"Thanks for the sandwiches Liv and?" She had never been formally introduced to Fitz.

"Oh, Nicole this is Fitz. He owns FTG where I had Abby's baby shower last month. He's been here and there in the shelter and pantry since then."

"Pleased to meet you. Always great to have an extra pair of hands around here. I appreciate your help." She took the tray of sandwiches off to wrap and place in boxes.

Liv interlocked her hand again with Fitz's. "Come on, let me walk you out.

His big hand wrapped around her back and pulled her closer to him. His lips touched hers gently and he pulled back. "See you tomorrow, Ms. Pope. I'll pick you up at noon."

Liv was biting her bottom lip, allowing the chills to be released from her body. She watched him get in the car. "Noon." She found the breath to whisper back.

As Fitz's car drove away another one pulled up. It was a government car; no doubt, and Liv took a deep breath. Every so often one of the officials would come around threatening an inspection or a close down.

The shelter and pantry were on prime realtor land for developers. The two buildings can make 70 condos easily and give way to gentrification. The only thing is the developers had nothing to do with the low income families or the homeless residents that had nowhere to go.

The pantry and shelter were some of their only meals, their only warm place to sleep and eat, Liv and her father worked hard every year to keep these snakes away.

The gentleman approaching her was your typical government delivery guy. Black suit, black dark sunglasses, white, privileged, ready to bully in an instant. Immediately, Liv's guard went up.

"Problem?" she asked in the rudest voice she could muster up.

Taking something out of the inside pocket of his jacket, Liv thought for sure it may be a paper to evict the premises. "Are you Olivia Pope?" The guy asked.

"What if I am?" She looked at him up and down, not reaching for the paper.

"Well, if you're not, I have to deliver this to Olivia Pope herself, it's from the Governor."

"Governor? For what? Is something wrong on premises?"

"No ma'am, now are you Olivia Pope?"

Her head tilted in frustration. "Yes, I am Olivia Pope." She took the paper as the guy nodded and walked away. Liv watched him get in his car and then looked at the paper, afraid to open it.

"Olivia is happy, and you seem to have an agenda that doesn't go along with that happiness." Eli halted inventory counting and looked at DC. "Want to tell me what's going on?"

"You can't be serious, Eli. Tell me you're encouraging her relationship with Fitz. Do you know the things that guy's been involved in. Do you know the people he hangs out with, he's no good, not by a long shot."

"Well Olivia doesn't think like you do. Maybe you have some wrong information."

"Wrong information. I guess it's wrong information that the reason he lost the wedding venue of the Galaxy Industries CEO was that he knocked up the guy's daughter." DC looked at Eli watching the anger come over his face.

"Where did you get that information?" DC had Eli's full attention now. He remembered the venue being changed from the Atrium to Ballard's place. He also remembered Fitz not answering the question.

"Doesn't matter, I just go it. Paid for a quickie abortion and all." DC shrugged and went back to counting boxes.

"I'm having a hard time believing that."

"Believe it, don't believe it. You can be as gullible as Olivia. Check it yourself. The wedding was supposed to be at the Atrium. Over a thousand guests were going to be in attendance. The venue changed a week ago to Ballard Enterprises." DC smirked. "The guy is a weasel, and I can't believe Olivia is falling for it."

The bang from Eli's clipboard hitting the ground was enough to scare DC, but when Eli grabbed hold of DC's collar and pushed him up against the brick wall, DC was stunned. Eli had never showed anger like this, and DC realized he pushed it a bit too far talking about Olivia that way.

"You'll watch your tone when it comes to my daughter. If I find out any of what you're saying is a lie, your punishment is going to be much worse than a tap on the brick wall, you hear me."

DC's hands were defenseless in the air. "I hear you, Geez, Eli, you're choking me, let me down."

"Dad?" Olivia was watching the whole thing unfold. "If what's a lie?" Olivia waited.

"Nothing. DC was just going to make sure the boxes he miscounted were indeed short changed as he said. He better not be lying. We are low on supplies without having a mess up." Eli took a deep breath. He looked at Liv's hands. "What do you have there?" He saw the paper that was handed to her.

She watched DC take off into the warehouse part of the building, and she was still a bit shaken up about what she had seen.

"Delivery from the Governor's office." Liv smiled, weakly, but still smiled.

"Governor's office?" Eli reached out for the paper and read it. Any anger he had in him miraculously left his body and he almost shrieked in delight. "I knew you would get it, I knew it, baby girl." He threw his arms around her and picked her up spinning.

She hugged him, tears in her eyes. "It's what we always wanted, and now with the book making waves in the community."

"Someone in that bureaucratic hell hole of the capitol heard something. You are the recipient of State Community Service Advocate of the year. This is simply amazing Olivia."

She took the paper back from Eli. "I still don't know how. I was neck and neck running with Regan Lobel from the Handing Helping Hands place. She deserved it more." Liv shrugged. "Says the luncheon place is to be determined. Wonder where it will be."

"He should pick FTG. This side of town has been ignored for too long. You deserve this and I'm sure the chatter about the book becoming a best seller made it's way to the Governor." Eli put his arm around his daughter. "The Governor recognizing your work." Eli was so proud.

The back of his mind was still burning. If what DC said was true and Olivia found out, it would crush her. Bad enough Ethan was caught naked in their own bed cheating on Olivia with an actress from some dying sitcom.

He wasn't going to let this happen again. Was there a way he could tell her before the weekend? Eli didn't think so and he wasn't going to spoil this good news with some rumor.

The meeting with Councilman Payne went very well, far exceeded Fitz's expectations. Payne was one of the few politicians in it for the best of the people he represented. Fitz also noticed a picture of the food pantry when Payne was at an event. Standing next to Payne in the picture was Olivia, dressed with the smile that warmed his heart.

"That's from giving day last year. The pantry was stacked with food afterwards. That young lady right there, Olivia Pope, she is one determined woman. She sets her mind on something; it's going to get done. She vowed if I showed up it would be beneficial and she was right. She's the reason I sit in this office today."

Fitz didn't want to bring up his relationship with Liv, not yet anyway. He wanted to focus on getting his buildings set, talk about employment fairs, and then Fitz can gloat about Oliva along side Payne.

Liv was packed and ready to go waiting for Fitz to come and get her. She would finally get to meet Felix, the driver who got his job back thanks to Liv. Liv looked at her father, he still hadn't put it down since she gave it to him an hour ago.

Her and Destiny finished the book and there were four copies in her office. One was for Destiny to keep the other three went to Olivia. Olivia gave one to her father, the other one would go to Abby when she got back and the final one she would give to Fitz.

It was packed along with very scarce clothes in the bag. Liv was sure her father had read the book seven times since this morning. The television was on and the entertainment network was spewing something about a married man and his co star having a real life relationship.

"I don't know why you watch crap like this dad. Thought those folks annoyed you."

"They do, but it's good to know what they're up to."

"In other news, you didn't think bad boy Grant could keep his name out of the spotlight." Liv' head turned towards the screen and this report had her attention.

"Although all built on speculation, questions began being asked when a revised invite to the biggest wedding since the Dyson wedding began arriving in mailboxes of the elite guests. Notably, The Atrium where it was originally scheduled has been changed to the Ballard Hall. One source close to the CEO of Galaxy Industries said there was a blow up of family matters and it may involve Fitzgerald Grant himself.

Not only is Fiona the daughter of the most prominent CEO in the Hills, her mother is 2017 Academy Award Winner Nyla Shayne. What did Grant do this time to mess up the wedding of a lifetime? Although the wedding is still on, the very big rumor going around it's something involving Fiona's older sister. This can't be good for Mr. Grant. Stay tuned."

"Liv where are you going?'

Liv grabbed her bag and headed out the door. She didn't know what to feel at the moment, she just needed air and to get away from what she just heard. She sat where she always sat as a little girl, in between the two buildings as she watched all the cars go by.

Fitz's phone buzzed as he sat in the back of the car heading to pick up Liv. He had so many things planned that he hoped they wouldn't get to, but just in case they were planned anyway. He couldn't remember a time in his life he was looking more forward to than this weekend with her.

He clicked the link Justin had sent to him and the blood drained from his body, he was sure of it. He heard the same report Liv and Eli had just heard, and his heart began to pound.

Fitz had every intention of telling Felix to turn the car around and get to the studio. He wanted heads to roll right now, and he wanted to be the one to roll them. He couldn't, though, he had to get to Olivia. That is who mattered the most in his life right now.

His mother's call came through right after the last word of the broadcast. "Mom, I know I saw it. I told you and dad this shit would happen."

"Fitzgerald, what are you going to do?"

"Nothing, I have a weekend away planned with Olivia, I have to hope that she still wants to go to it. I'm not giving any comment, nor should you or dad say anything."

"We won't, please let me know. I hope you get to have the time with Olivia. I don't think she's the type to buy all this nonsense. Bunch of jerks looking for a story."

"Mom, I'll call you back." Felix had pulled up by Liv's building. He walked slowly up the stairs, only hoping she hadn't seen the broadcast. He put that thought behind him when Eli opened the door and gave him a death stare for the ages.

Liv saw the car pull up. For a moment, she was frozen, not being able to move. She just wanted to run, go to the thinking spot and stay there all night. Thinking of that report she wasn't concerned that Fitz did anything wrong. She was more concerned to his reaction to it.

Despite what was being said, Liv believed in him. She would never be convinced he did anything to jeopardize business for himself, especially not that kind of wedding. Remembering the words from the night he left, "Today I found out Jeremy did something despicable and I'm sure he's going to try to spin it."

Yeah, Olivia was sure this was all Jeremy's doing. Raquel had her hand in it too. It just never dawned on Liv that DC would be mixed up in all of this, but that's something she'll find out about in time.

She walked to the car and introduced herself to Felix who was more than happy to have finally met the one and only Olivia Pope.

"Fitz, I don't know where she went, but after hearing that report, she's not going to reach out to you, that I'm sure of. Go take care of whatever you need to, when she gets back, I'll have her call you."

Fitz had no words. The whole weekend ruined by one fucking lie. Fitz's shoulders slumped and he turned towards the door. "Fitz." Eli's voice caught him before leaving.

"Is it true?"

Fitz didn't say a word. He opened the door and left walking slowly back to the car. "Change of plans Felix." Fitz said to the open window. "Head over to the studio, I'm going to make sure some heads roll." He lost Olivia, may as well make the best of it, and kick someone's ass for it.

He opened the door, and he heard her soft voice. "Hi", Olivia said. Despite all she heard about him, she still smiled at him. She believed in him and in that moment, Fitz felt it, understood it. "Let's just head to the lake house, the studio will be there when we get back."

In one motion, Fitz slid next to Olivia, pulled the car door closed, and wrapped her up in his arms. He held her close to him, his face tight in the crook of her neck.

"Nothing is keeping me from you, Fitzgerald Grant, I told you that." Her lips took his as they made out tenderly while the car began its motion towards the lake house.

Fitz just stopped and looked at her. In that moment, he had no words. He had never felt more love from someone than he felt from her. "The things I am going to do to you, Ms. Pope, I hope you're ready."

As her hand slid over his hardening cock, Liv whispered in his ear. "More than you'll ever know. We're just twenty minutes away from this being inside me." Her tongue outlined his lips, as his hand softly caressed her back.

She believed in him and that is all that mattered. He trusted her and that was all that mattered. They would have plenty of time to talk, but first they both needed each other, and that's what would happen first.

The world behind them now, they entered the lake house. It was a sunny day much the opposite of the last time they were here. Although, if you asked her, Liv would tell you she could still smell the rain.

Once Fitz put their bags down, Liv crossed her hands and lifted her shirt off, this way Fitz didn't have to do much. She saw him just stare at her, shaking his head.

"Liv, don't you want to…"

She cupped his face, buried a kiss on him, as her bare chest rubbed against him, and he could no longer take it. He reached into his bag, took out a condom and wrapped her up in his arms, still kissing her, neck to mouth, mouth to neck.

Her core beginning to throb, she watched as he undressed and she sat on the bed, waiting, anticipating, wanting all of him in her. He stood in front of her now, erect, very erect, and as Liv reached out to grab him he stopped her and pushed her softly back onto the bed.

He rolled the condom down his cock, the one that was pounding to get inside of her, inside of the woman who believed in him, the woman he wanted for eternity, even though he had no idea what that meant. His mind wasn't keeping up with him.

Liv's legs wrapped around his back, her hand gripped his condom covered dick, and she moved it up and down her waiting entrance. She caused herself to moan, and her bottom body lifted towards him.

His hands, the hands that always engulfed some part of her body, cupped her hips and within seconds, he was inside her. "Oh my God." Liv's head went back, and her body fell weak.

Fitz's hand, flat on her back, arched her body up and he began to let his anger out in his thrusts. If he was hurting her, she didn't say it, and this goddess of a woman was just taking it all in.

The house was quiet, serenity all around them, and the pounding of their bodies was all they could hear. Liv opened her eyes to see him looking at her, dark grey eyes, watching her body take her every breath, and her mouth went open.

"I'm going to come, Fitz." His hand was big enough to hold her body through her orgasm, and as it hit, the sunlight coming through the roof showed the beads of sweats beginning to outline her stomach.

He had made her weak, he had her just where he wanted her, and he set her body back on the bed, as his chest went up, and he continued to make love to her. Her breasts were so inviting, so while he was hitting his climax, he stifled his moan in her breast, which was engulfed in his mouth.

Fitz was breathing so heavily, he had to roll off her and cover his eyes with his forearm. "That was…so fucking amazing."

Liv giggled and wrapped one arm around him. "I hope there's so much more of that this weekend."

She watched him walk to the bathroom and come back, totally naked and join her back in bed. After a long kiss and a tight hug, they finally stopped, ready to talk.

They lay facing one another now. Their need for each other satisfied for the moment. Liv's finger outlined his jaw and she smiled. "So, tell me about Fiona's sister."

Fitz took a calm sigh, because less than an hour ago he was ready to go to jail, but now he was able to calm it. "Deal, but then I learn all about Ethan."

While the cameras looked everywhere for Fitz to get a comment in the hills, on the other side of town, a reporter knocked on Liv's door. A best-selling author from the Garfield section, this was newsworthy.

A possible scandal involving a prominent daughter and son, the juicy details were endless. A woman who dedicated her life to help those in more need than her, to shape a community, now having a book tour and book, this was a feel good story everyone wanted to hear.

The two most wanted by the reporters and cameras tucked away in their own little getaway. It was time Fitzgerald Grant learned all about Olivia Pope. Olivia Pope was ready to receive her crash course on Fitzgerald Grant. As long as they were together, the world around them could crumble down, they had each other.
