Episode 36: Enter Cyber-Lord Part 3
Ace groans and slowly waken up to see One-Eyed Jack and Wild Card Willy at his side. "Wha-what happen?"
"We were worried that you haven't come back so we track you down here. Looks like whoever is responsible for the murder must have to a beaten out of you." One-Eyed explained briefly while helping Ace up on his feet.
"Murder?" Ace then quickly remembered. "Chandler's dad. He's doing all of this."
"What?" Are you sure it's him?" Willy asked.
"Yes. I'll explain while we're heading to Cox's tower. Tetherby may be in trouble if we don't get there on time." Ace said.
"But what about the last shareholder?"
"Chandler is probably at the shareholder by now. And we don't know the shareholder's home and it'll take too long to find him as he'll be dead by time we arrived. All we could do now is to protect Tetherby and stop Chandler." Ace explained.
Later, at Cox Tower. Ace, One-Eyed, and Willy already arrived and explained to Tetherby in his office of all the shareholders who were murdered and the man who's beyond of it.
"I knew he has something to do with this. Chandler just can't seems to accept that his company is going bankruptcy and I save it." Tetherby lied.
"You two were rival companies for years. I highly doubt you bought his company to save it for the "goodness" of your heart." Ace said crossed his arms.
"Well, we may don't get along but I'm not a monster."
One-Eyed Jack rolled his eyes and respond. "Whatever. Look we need to get you out of here before Chandler Sr shows up."
"Oh please like I'm afraid of him. I think I can handle myself." Tetherby smiled.
Chandler Sr in full speed crash through wall then hovers in front of our heroes.
"Or not." Tetherby cried.
"At last. The last piece to my revenge." Chandler Sr. smiled. "Out of the way, fools!"
Ace jump in front of Tetherby to protect him. "Stop this, Cox! There is no reason for you to do this! What would your son thing about you?!"
"Don't you dare bring my son into this! I'm doing this for the both of us because that bastard purposely sabotage my suit causing me to lose my company forcing me and son living in misery!"
"But why kill the shareholders if you want Tetherby?" Ace asked.
"Betrayal. They were supposed to be on my side after everything I've done for my company that makes profits." Chandler added.
"And King Rat?" Ace asked.
"A score to settle as well. Now, hand him over."
"Not going to happen." Wild Card Willy said holding out his rope and then wrap him around with it.
Chander Sr. laughed. "Seriously?" He easily break through the rope.
"I'll get him." One-Eyed Jack said charging at him.
"Jack, no!" Ace shouted.
One-Eyed throws serval explosive cards at him. At first he cheered himself for doing damage on Chandler Sr.'s suit but as the smoke clears, he was perfectly fine with no scratches what's so ever.
Chander Sr. smirked. "Is this suit incredible or what?" He quipped a metal baton and knock One-Eyed Jack across the room. Next, he stun Wild Card Willy when he was going for a sneak attack from behind. Lastly, he grabbed Ace. "You should know better on trying to fight me again."
Ace struggles to break his grasp. "Don't do this."
"Course I will." Chander Sr. smiled. He toss him to the side and turn to Tetherby.
"Please, Chandler, don't kill me! We can work this out!" Tetherby begged.
"I'm not going to kill you yet. Not without a trial and I know a perfect place for judgment."
Chandler Sr. grab Tetherby and get ready to launch out of this tower. Ace recovers and quickly throws a tracking chip on to Tetherby's leg just in time before Chander Sr. take off with the hostage. One-Eyed Jack and Wild Card Willy recovers as well and join in with Ace.
"He's taking Tetherby? Why didn't he kill him?"
"He has other plans with him, Willy. But lucky I put a tracking device on." Ace said holding out a tracking device.
"Great! Let's get going!" One-Eyed Jack said getting out his ace grapple.
"Not yet. First, we need to find a way shut that suit down. As you blantly see the suit has no damage on our attacks, and I know Chandler Sr, isn't dumb enough to make a suit without a fail safe. To the labs!"
Below Cox's Tower, The Full House search through the entire lab for clues. One-Eyed Jack spotted some blueprints of suit.
"Hey, bro. I found something."
Ace and Willy reach over to Jack.
"Good work, bro." Ace looks through every plan sheets. "Found it. It's an encryption code for emergencies only. This will be a big help." Ace smiled.
Meanwhile, Chandler Sr. with the arrived at a construction tunnel owned by Cox Tower. He drag Tetherby into the tunnel. Unware, The Full House had made to their destination and by the footprints, he went into the tunnels as they follow him deep inside.
Chandler Sr. each to one of his secret lab he have built through out Royal Woods. As Chandler Sr. gets inside the lab he shackles Tetherby to the wall along with King Rat. Chandler Sr. then starts a kangaroo trial and says that they are all guilty of ruining him.
"Let us begin. Starting with you, King Rat." Chandler Sr. pointed at King Rat. "Destroying several places owned by me causing a huge profit to go down all because of test mice's."
"And you got what you deserved! I'm so sick and tired of you and everyone else experiment on poor defensive mice's! They never done anything to you!"
Chandler Sr. then pointed to Tetherby. "And you. The worst of them all. Sabotaging my suit just to make me look bad so you can cease what's left for my company leaving me and my son in ruin. Admitted!"
Tetherby nervously respond. "I don't know what you're talking about. You can't prove that." He lied.
"Oh really?" Chandler Sr. shows a small microchip up to Tetherby's face. "Explain this? I found this on my suit when you're touching it."
Tetherby gulped.
"Justice will be served, and both of you will suffer for the destruction of my legacy." Chandler Sr. activate the brass knuckles mode and starts cracking his knuckles. "With a slow an painful punishment.
"That's not going to happen!" Ace said.
Chandler Sr. turn to the Full House who shows up which surprised him.
"You? How? No matter. You guys still can't stop me as we've proven that before."
"You're right, but there is one thing that will stop you." Ace pull out his crytographic sequencer. "Guys, I'm going to need you two to keep him busy until the encryption kicks in." He whispered to One-Eyed and Wild Card Willy.
"Got it." One-Eyed nod.
"Whatever you're planning, it won't be enough to stop me!" Chandler Sr. said as he charges forward towards the heroes.
The Full House dropped a smoke bomb to make them disappeared as Chandler ran through the smoke.
"You can't hide from me!" Chandler Sr. switch to X-Ray vision to find the heroes and only find two hiding behind two machines. He open fire by launching missiles at them but One-Eyed Jack and Wild Card Willy quickly jump out before impact.
The heroes gave everything they could by throwing lots of explosive on him but still no mark on Chandler Sr. as he laugh mechanically.
Meanwhile, Ace is outside of the lab far from Chandler Sr. but not too far as he need at least be close to the area where Chandler Sr. "Damn the security is good, but I can't give up. Just hang on just a little bit longer guys." Ace trying his best to get past the firewalls.
Willy used his special kind of rope made out of titanium to trip Chandler Sr. on to the ground. Then, used another rope to wrap him around. "Try breaking out that, big guy." With shock on his Chandler broke free and those were Willy's strongest rope.
One-Eyed jump in to throws two special kind of cards one is electrical one but has no effect on it, and the other is ice which freezes Chandler Sr. in a solid block of ice. "Stay cool, Mr. Cox."
Willy groans over that joke.
One-Eyed Jack chuckles. "What? I have to say it."
"Maybe you should take Ace's sisters job and become the new Joker." Willy joked.
"Oh now you're trying to make a joke." One-Eyed Jack crossed his arms.
The conversation was over when Chandler Sr. breaks free once more and slowly come towards them.
Back with Ace, he already bypass the firewalls. Now, need put in the passwords he remembered. "I'm almost there guys." Ace said.
Chandler Sr. opens fired by using his laser guns. One-Eyed and Willy makes a run for it while also dodge them as they try not to get hit by them.
Ace completed the first the password. Now, the second password.
Chandler Sr. smack Willy knocking him out leaving One-Eyed Jack to be the only one standing to fight him.
Second password done. Now, on to the finally password.
Chandler Sr. grab One-Eyed Jack ready to kill him. "It's all over."
Ace put in the final code and finally done. He got access to the suit and immediately shut it down.
Chandler Sr. was about to kill until his suit stops working. "What? Hey, what's going on? Why aren't I moving?" Chandler Sr. tries everything to get the suit back online but still not respond. "No. No, No! This can't be happening!"
"Oh it's happening." Ace said walking in.
"You did it, bro! Oh god Willy!" One-Eyed Jack reach over to Willy as he slowly woken up. "Are you alright?"
"Y-yeah. I'm good. Just a bump on my head." Willy moans rubbing his head.
Chandler Sr. escape out of the suit to rush over to grab a prototype weapon and aim at the heroes. "You've ruin everything!"
"It' over, Chandler Sr. Now, you have to pay for what you've done." Ace said.
"Pay?! They ruin me and my son! They're the one who should pay!" Chandler Sr. yelled.
"You're not much innocent either Chandler Sr. even before your company was about to bought. Now after this, how will your son see and feel about you after what you've done. He'll hate you forever." Ace said
Chander Sr. already knew that son will never forgive him for what he has done. If only he was a better father towards him but it's too late and he doesn't want to his son to see him go to prison. There's only one thing he can do. "Forgive me son." Chandler Sr. thought to himself. Instead of firing the heroes, he fired on the ceiling for rubble to crush him.
"NO!" Ace dash forward to the rubble to rescue him. But it was too late, he was already dead. There was nothing he could do.
Later, while One-Eyed Jack taken King Rat to jail and Wild Card Willy take Tetherby home safe and sound, Ace carried Chandler Sr.'s body back home to the apartment. Ace dig some background info on the new home they're living. Gently as he is, place him on the couch and inform the police. Just soon as he leave, he was is confronted by Chandler jr.
"What have you done? What have you done?!"
Chandler Jr. rush to get his baseball but as soon he grab it and turn, Ace already escape. He rush over to his dead father and mourn.
At Chandler's funeral, only Chandler Jr. and former butler and maids attend to this funeral. Lincoln shows up to comfort Chandler Jr.
"What are you doing here?" Chandler asked Lincoln.
"I came to see if you're alright. I'm so sorry, Chandler." Lincoln apologies. "I know what it's like to lose a father."
Chandler wiped his tears away and said. "I didn't lose him. He was stolen from me. Especially Ace Savvy. Police say he killed a lot of innocents people but I don't believe one word of it. One day Ace and everyone that wrong him and made him drive to be a criminal will pay. I swear on my father's grave, they will pay. " Chandlers Jr. swore and left.
Lincoln will remembered this.
The next day at school, Lincoln was meeting with his friends as they got news for him.
Lincoln is surprised.
"Yeah. Chandler's ex-friends say that he's not attending school anymore. He just left and nobody knows why." Rusty said.
"Dang. Losing his father hit him hard." Girl Jordan said.
"I know the feeling. I wish I could done more for him. I blame myself." Lincoln said.
"You have nothing to blame for bro." Clyde said.
Lincoln sighed. "I know. But I still feel guilty and worry at the same time." Chandler Jr. stop coming to school. He's really going to do it and who knows what he has plan now against Lincoln and everyone in Royal Woods. For now, all he has to do is wait and be prepared and hopefully he could stop him before it's too late.
