The Bully
I was in the city when it happened
Never thought we would meet again
But he recognised me after all this time
And didn't seem to care about what I had become.
At first he just threw words at me
Of which I did ignore
But when he started throwing threats my way
I knew that we were done
Of course I had to tell him
That he should really leave me alone
And all I got for my trouble
Was he laughed right in my face
The hardest part about all this
Was I could no longer touch him
My body was a weapon, you see
And to kill him would leave a bad taste
The sad thing was he could hit me
Punch and kick however he pleased
Which is exactly what he did after that
And he got angrier every time I blocked
But one lucky blow to my head
Sent me sprawling to the ground
With spinning head and unfocused eyes
You can bet that I was shocked
But at least my ears weren't failing me
I heard footsteps coming towards us
And with all the guy's jeering
He had yet to hear them as well
Then I felt cold hands on my shoulder
Metal hands to be precise
But it was the slight earthquake around us
That sent the guy running with a yell
Zane and Cole had found me
Even though I had wanted to be alone
They helped me back onto my feet
And tried to question what went on
But Zane quickly realised
that I'd knocked my head bad
Cole had to carry me home
As the guy had given me a concussion
It took a bit for words to form
But I managed to explain everything
You see the guy was a kid last we met
A big old playground bully
Kai and Nya were furious when they heard
They disappeared not long after too
Lloyd was equally as mad
But he sat with me as we all watched telly
After making sure that I was okay
Zane gave me the all clear to eat
Cole disappeared into the kitchen
Only to come back with bowls of ice cream
When Kai and Nya returned from wherever
I knew exactly where they had been
They had given the bully a talking to
Now picking on me was no longer his dream
Despite all the flaws that we all seem to have
There is one thing I know that is true
I can count on my friends to have my back
And I shall always be there for this team
