Venomari Hallucinations
I had a dream the other night
I was standing alone in the forest
Somehow we had all been separated
Though for reasons I do not know
It was like I was the only human
In a world full of animals
But at the same time it was strange
For there were no animals to show
All around me there were noises
Animals calling out their threats
I'll tell you now there was a lot of roaring
But amongst those were trills and grunts
Yet strangely there was distance too
Between the various calls
Whatever was grunting was closest to me
Almost like it too was on a man hunt
I also found as I got closer
The grunting turned to rumbles
The vibrations from those very calls
Almost seemed to shake the ground
And through the trees into the clearing
A big black beast emerged before me
A gorilla, to be exact, with eyes I know
My only bet was it was Cole I found
Well he moved like Cole and kind of looked like Cole
And he seemed relieved to have found me
But even so I was quite wary
And I had to check if it was him
It gave him pause, my questioning
And he may have scared himself at the discovery
But he seemed to take things in his stride
With his happiness not daring to dim
We travelled together for a little while
Best friends found in different bodies
Until the air around us
Began to slowly freeze our breaths
And again I may have panicked
As I had heard a loud roar nearby
But for some reason Cole was reassuring me
That we weren't going towards our deaths
The first thing I saw
as we walked through the trees
Was something white and silver
Almost prowling our way
And when the bushes parted
to reveal titanium paws of a sabre
Which somehow gave us a relieved smile
That made Cole and I rush off to play
For we had found Zane
Or rather he had found us
And with him in our group
Finding the others would be quick
And quick it was
For he led us to Lloyd
Who had turned into a green dragon
With scales that looked slick
Lloyd fussed over me
As soon as our eyes met
There was concern in his eyes
Though I'm not exactly sure why
Zane and Cole said something to him
Though I'm not exactly sure what
Whatever it was made him worry more
But that's when a phoenix landed near by
The phoenix was blue
With gold accents on its feathers
My guess was it was Nya
Thanks to how she flew at me
I had to catch her before we crashed
It was almost like a phoenix hug
With damp feathers not daring to burn
But her love flying free
If my thoughts were correct
There was one left to find
And judging by the roars he gave out
Kai was getting really annoyed
Or worried like the others
If their previous reactions were to go by
But with Nya taking flight again
We were led by her and our sabre nindroid
The second Kai saw me
He pounced at my head
Cole had to pull me back a little
So his paw only punched my arm
He roared something at me
To which I replied with confusion
While Zane appeared to talk to him
And attempt to get him calm
Even so I found myself
Quite quickly I might add
Surrounded by my comrades and friends
Trying to figure out what to do
In the end they led me home
Each one easily gaining access
Through the cabin doors of the Bounty
All the while treating me like I had the flu
Sabre Zane went in doctor mode
With Kai and Lloyd by his side
This left worried Cole and Nya
To get me off to bed
And bed felt rather nice
I admit once I was there
Cole even helped tuck me in
While Nya's wing brushed against my head
I think I may have drifted off
Cause I remember being woken up
To Zane who was standing by my bed
And urging me to drink
I found it strange what I saw
A sabre tooth holding a mug in his paws
Not to mention the animal sounds
That were part garbled human I think
Whether I drank the cup I dont remember
I say this as I know I fell asleep
I was startled from my weird slumber
By noises in the lounge room
So getting up I went off to search
For any animals that should be my friends
But strangely all I found was Cole
As a human and dancing with a broom
Although he later denied it
I knew what I had seen
But what Cole was focussed on more
Was that I apparently looked better
According to my dear friend
I didnt look as pale
And my eyes didn't look as irritated
Though just the thought seemed to make them wetter
It wasn't that I was crying
But I was just now noticing
That throughout this whole ordeal
They had been stinging quite a bit
Was my dream really a dream
Or had it been some weird reality
Either way my body gave a few seconds warning
Before Cole realised I needed to sit
I ended up going back to bed
By order of Zane, Cole and Kai
Fire and ice had shown themselves
After Cole stopped my near collapse
It was thanks to Kai's swears
And threats to Venomari
That i discovered the cause
To my strange memory scraps
From what I could gather
A Venomari had sprayed me
During our latest fight
And I had majorly freaked out
But now that my friend's had found me
And they had safely gotten me home
I knew that they would help me through it
And keep me safe without a doubt
