I was reading a story that had the show ninja (minus Lloyd) de-aged for a short time when I got the idea to try and do something similar... at least on the de-ageing thing. I admit, it took a little while to figure out what to do, but then this started forming. To be honest, I have a feeling I'm going to have a little fun with this and end up doing a sequel. Kinda can't leave the ninja hanging. You'll understand when you've finished reading this. Hope you all enjoy.

Kids Again

"I don't know what happened.
There are no words to say.
But though you kick and scream
I can't just leave you here.

"Wait no, come back, stop running.
You can't just run away.
You two know that I'm alone.
It's in your eyes with distrust and fear.

"Which is probably why you're running,
You have no clue who I am.
But you're running into danger.
Kids and cars do not mix.

"I get that you've forgotten that,
Even as the enemy scrams,
But right now I need to get you back
And see if this can't be fixed.

"Oh please don't look at me that way,
I can tell you'll be a pain,
So please just take my hand
So we can go to somewhere safe.

"Maybe Nya would know what to do.
Or perhaps Pixal or Zane.
But how to get the two of you
And our vehicles back to base?"

My eyes land on the earth driller
Parked just on the street.
Then look back down at mini Cole
Silently praying he will forgive.

"Yes, Kai, I'm a friend of Nya's
Now let's get something to eat.
Look, there's an ice cream store.
But you two need to be cooperative.

"Yes, it is a tricky word, Cole.
It means we have to work together.
Now you two hold my hands
So we can get across the road."

And I thought one kid was bad.
With two, things took forever.
But with more than ice cream in hand
We finally reached our abode.

Lloyd was in the hangar bay
And he first thought I was Cole.
I put that to the earth driller
That I had had to drive back.

And I could clearly see his questions.
But the day was taking its toll.
I got him to recall the bikes
As I tried to stop Kai's attack.

The de-aged fire ninja
Still had it in his head
That wherever I was taking him
Was a place full of threats.

At least Cole was more well behaved
As, to the lift, he was led.
But it was to the lounge we three were sat,
Me between black-haired and brunet.

I was about to question why
When Lloyd sent out the call
For Zane to bring the first aid kit.
Guess I didn't get away scotch free.

I must have gotten knocked unconscious
Sometime during that brawl.
But when the others arrived in the room,
With Lloyd's confusion, they did agree.

"I can't really say what happened.
I just remember waking up.
And when I turned to Kai and Cole,
They had become little kids again.

"Even worse, their minds de-aged.
Their ice cream had to be eaten in cups.
Yes, I gave them ice cream and toys.
I had to get them away from the traffic lanes.

"I also had to get them back here,
And I'll just say it now,
These two, right here, are a handful.
Now my head throbs really bad."

Zane got straight to work
Cleaning the gash on my brow.
With Nya and Pixal doing similar checks
On our de-aged comrades.

I'm not sure what happened next,
But I was woken with a start.
Kai and Cole were looking up at me,
With concern in their young eyes.

That's when I noticed at the door
Stood Nya holding some kind of chart.
But with the mixed look she gave me,
My unknown fear was realised.

Now lying on a med bay cot
I looked to my two friends.
For an indefinite amount of time
They will be young kids.

Somehow, we'll have to find a way
To return them to young men.
I got the feeling it would be me
Watching everything they did.
