Waking up the next morning, Robert found himself alone in bed. He found a note on Holly's pillow.
"Find me."
Robert grinned, getting out of bed and putting on some clothes. He loved how playful their relationship still was after all this time. He put his tie on the headed diwnstairs.
Seana saw him and immediately stopped what she was doing, running over to him.
Robert happily scooped her up. "Oh, there's my girl." He gave her a hug. "You feeling better?" He asked her.
"Charlie!" Seana exclaimed as Tiff walked up.
"You made a big impression on our granddaughter Robert, all morning it's been Charlie." Tiffany gave Robert a kiss on the cheek.
"She's got good taste, Tiff. Want to help me find Grandma Holly?" Robert asked Seana.
Seana pointed at the kitchen. She knew where Holly was.
Robert chuckled as he gave her a hug. "Thanks, babe." The two of them went into the kitchen where Holly and Jayne were making breakfast. "Good morning, luvs."
Holly's face lit up at Robert's voice. "Good morning, my darling. Seana, help you find me?"
"Quite the detective here." Robert kissed Seana's head, her whole face lit up.
Jayne walked over. "Want to be my taste tester?" Jayne asked Seana, who nodded. Jayne took her from Robert and over to the counter.
Holly gave Robert a kiss as their arms found their ways around each other. "Sleep well?" She asked him.
Robert looked at her face, those beautiful eyes. "How could I not? Though I never like waking up alone. It's so much better when I have you lying in my arms."
Holly felt so much love in her heart for her Robert. "You have perfect timing. Do you want to set the table?"
Robert nodded as he got the stuff together to set it. They all enjoyed breakfast with each other. Robert and Holly both enjoyed having so much family in their home.
Once they finished up, Robert looked at his watch. "I better get going." He hated that he had to leave but like he had said he wanted to get this town back in shape, which meant some hard work.
"Not like that." Holly went over to fix his tie. "I really think you tie this wrong on purpose just to get me to redo it."
Robert acted like he had no clue what he was talking about. "What? Me?"
Holly shook her head and gave him a kiss. "You free for lunch?"
"If not, I can be." Robert gave her a kiss. "See you then."
Holly kissed him again. "You can count on it. I love you."
Robert kissed her back, holding her for a few moments. "I love you too, luv." He said before leaving the townhouse.
