Robert poured himself and Holly glasses of champagne. "What did you get into today?" Robert asked Holly as he took one of her hands into his, giving the other hand her glass.

"Thank you. Tiff and I shopped, decorated and had some girl talk. All in all a wonderful day." Holly's face lit up, she loved having Tiff close to them again.

Robert couldn't help but smile at the way her face lit up while she talked about their friend. "You know having her here is really nice. I think it does us all some good."

Holly smiled at Robert. "I think so too. How was it getting back into the swing of things?" Holly asked him before taking a sip of her champagne.

Robert chuckled a bit, remembering what happened with Dante. "You know when we went to get off the phone, Dante walked in."

Holly gave him an amused look, realizing that Dante probably caught Robert blowing kisses. "Did he get to see my marshmallow?" She teased him.

Robert nodded, he wasn't embarrassed by it because he had had to spend a lot of years without Holly, frankly he would be okay with blowing kisses at her in front of most people.

"Did you cover?" Holly asked him.

"No, he understood and frankly I wouldn't have. I mean look at you. Who can blame me for being crazy about you." Robert placed a kiss on her neck.

Holly sat her glass down. "I'm so in love with you." She kissed him.

"I would say prove it but we tend to lose track of time and I think we still need to get a shower in or at least I need to." Robert kissed her shoulder, wanting nothing more than to get lost in Holly.

"A shower actually sounds very nice, you know it's always more fun together. Not to mention we save water." Holly grinned at him.

"You still trying to use that save water bit?" Robert asked he as he ran his fingers over her towel.

"Robert you know for a fact I have always tried to conserve water." She smirked at him as she ran her hand down to his towel.

"We better get in there." Robert said, making no effort to actually go in there, instead his lips found her neck.

Holly grinned as she tilted her head to the side. "Oh...we probably should." She mustered up every ounce of self control and got up to take his hand, leading him into the bathroom.

The two took a shower then both of them got ready for the night's festivities. It had been so long since they had gotten to ring in the new year together and they were both looking forward to it.
