Holly was so excited to be having another party, ringing in the new year with their friends and loved ones. "Think you can help me with my zipper?" Holly asked Robert.

Robert had been admiring Holly in her new dress, she always picked the sexiest numbers. "Uh, yeah." Robert went over to help her, he zipped it up and smiled. "How about some help with the tie?" Robert asked.

Holly had already started to tie it. "I was half tempted to stay in the shower but we do have guests that are going to be here." Holly looked up into his eyes.

"Tiff can entertain them." He teased as he placed his hands on her waist.

Holly's smile grew as she focused on his tie. "Don't tempt me."

"But I want to." Robert leaned in and kissed her neck when there was a knock on the door. He groaned.

Holly laughed. "We will be down in a minute."

"Holly is he trying to talk you into staying in there with him?" Tiffany asked through the door.

"You know it Tiff, a bad influence on her every chance I get." Robert tickled Holly's sides which caused her to squeal.

"He is behaving, we will be down, promise." Holly laughed as she gave Robert a quick kiss.

The two joined their friends and family downstairs.

Holly and Anna found a moment to talk to each other, Holly wanted to see how her and Duke were doing. "Are you both doing alright?" Holly asked Anna.

"You know I'm doing better than I have in a long time. Having the right person as your partner just seems to make everything fall into place. I don't have to tell you that though." Anna smiled at her friend, she was genuinely happy for Robert and Holly.

Holly grinned at Anna. "No you don't, we are both where we are supposed to be and with who we are supposed to be with. I love that." Holly gave Anna a hug.

Anna hugged her back and smiled. "So do I and now we have Emma and Cameron Webber. Our family just keeps getting better!"

"Yes, I still say we need to do the grandma thing. Get the story from our granddaughter. I used to love those talks with Robin." Holly smiled fondly as she recalled them.

Anna loved the love Holly had for their Robin. "I am so grateful she had you. Let's get back to our guys."

Holly went back over to Robert who was talking to Ethan. "My favorite men." She wrapped her arm around Robert's.

"There's the most beautiful sight in the world." Robert kissed Holly's head. "Our son has a surprise for us."

Holly looked lovingly at Ethan. "Really? You aren't in trouble are you."

Ethan gave a wicked grin. "No, I actually am going to be working with someone you both are very close to."

Robert and Holly looked at each other then back at him. "Who?" They said in unison.

Ethan waved over Felicia who spoke up. "That would be me. Put those skills of his to good use."

Holly gave Felicia a hug. "Oh I love that! You know he is going to be perfect at it!"

Robert shook Ethan's hand and also gave him a hug. "Your mum's right. I'm proud of you."

"Thank you both. It's going to be a great New Year." Ethan gave Holly a hug.

The countdown had started and everyone gathered around, ready to say goodbye to 2023 and hello to 2024.

"Happy New Year!" Robert and Holly said to each other before planting a big kiss on each other. The other couples in the room did the same, including Annie and Ethan who were still figuring things out.

The party started to die down and Robert and Holly found their way back to their room. "You know I really do think this year is going to be my favorite."

Holly's face lit up as her arms wrapped around him. "I know it's going to be mine."
