Robert was hanging the present he got for Father's Day up in the office when Holly walked in.
"Oh that is perfect." She smiled as she watched him put it up.
"The frame or the view?" Robert teased her.
"The frame?" Holly joked as she sat her purse down.
Robert went over and gave her a kiss. "I wasn't expecting to see you so soon."
"Well, I was going to spend the day with Tiff, but Lucas came over, and I thought what a great time to come spend a little extra time with my Robert, and of course, get to work." Holly's eyes lit up.
Robert grinned. He knew she was anxious to get more involved, and he loved that. "Somehow, I think that last part was the bigger factor."
Holly went to reply as the door opened.
Jake walked in with a sad look on his face. "Hey you two, sorry to interrupt."
They both could see how serious he looked. "No need to apologize, are you alright?" Holly asked Jake.
"Not really, I just got news that Terry passed. She had been continuing the work Bobbie started, and it was completely unexpected." Jake was taking this very hard. The lost off Bobbie was a lot, now Terry.
Holly went over and gave him a hug. "I am so sorry, Jake."
"Me too." Robert said as he walked over to. "Is there anything we can do?"
"No, not really. I'm going to have a service for her and burry her next to Bobbie. They really meant a lot to each other." Jake let go of Holly.
"Name the time and place, and we will be there." Holly told him, she knew Robert felt the same way.
"This is why I came here, I just needed some friends to talk to about this." Jake didn't realize how much he had truly missed this town.
"Well, you have got them right here." Robert gave him a hug.
"Why don't we go to Kelly's? Have a cup of tea and remember her?" Holly suggested, she knew Robert had to work, so she wanted to do this for the both of them.
"I would like that." Jake really could use a friend right now.
"I'll join you two if I can. If not, have a cup of tea for me." Robert gave Holly a hug and a kiss then shook Jake's hand.
