Luffy had been training for six months now and his progress was unheard of. he had mastered all 3 types of haki in 6 months.
This shocked Rayleigh as he was expecting Luffy to take atleast the full two years to get a hang of it. Not to mention when Luffy tried to make a new form combining his rubber abilities and his haki he becane a real monster. True that compared to his newly dubbed fifth gear his dubbed fourth gear bounce man was like comparing a rookie pirate and a yonko.
After looking at all the facts it was only right that Rayleigh taught Luffy the advanced stages of haki. Ryuo and Future sight.
Rayleigh "So Luffy i see that your training is coming really well"
"Yosh" Luffy shouted as he was chewing on a piece of meat
"Ya know, at the rate you learned haki i see it only fit that i teach you the advanced forms aswell." stated Rayleigh.
"Advanced stages? You mean that i can go beyond the ones that you taught me?" questioned luffy as he down the last of his meat.
"Yeah there are two known types, ryou and future sight. Ryou is the ability to let your haki flow into your fists or feet allowing you to destroy something from the inside out" stated Rayleigh as he was stroking his chin.
"SUGOOII" Luffy screamed with stars in his eyes.
Rayleigh chucked as he continued "Then there is future sight which is the next level of observation haki. It allows one to see a couple seconds into the future giving an advantage over people that are faster than u. these tricks have gotten me out of a pickle or two" He bellowed as he finished what he was saying.
"Wait if both observation and amament haki have advanced stages then what about conqueres? Questioned luffy who had a confused look on his face.
Rayleigh was greatly surprised at Luffy's intuition as he had been making Luffy study for the past six months and was glad it had started to pay off.
"Well you see i was just getting to that. The next stage is something called Conqueres coating as it allows ones self to coat the body with conqueres haki greatly improving ones physical abilities, and since the aspect of applying this is so similiar to Ryuo i would advice you to learn the two i mentioned first before handling Conqueres coating" Rayleigh rambled on.
Luffy zoned out after hearing that he needed to learn Ryuo and future sight before handling conqueres coating. As he was thinking another thought came to his mind as he was wondering what that word meant in one of the books Rayleigh had forces him to read.
" Hey Rayliegh? " question Luffy
"Hm yeah? replied the dark king

The empress had been pacing back and fourth waiting for the gift she had made for Luffys Birthday. She was just very worried if Luffy would like the gift after all.
Not only that but ever since Luffy began to train here a year ago her feelings have gotten stronger. At first it was a mere crush but that soon turned into full blown Love after Luffy helped her take down World and rescue her sisters.
That was when Hancock saw Luffys new found strength in action. It was also a strange sight to see the boy use a sword so elegantly. She gueesed that after Luffy mastered haki in 7 months Rayleigh decided to teach him sword play.
True that he would never be as good with a sword as the likes of Mihawk or his vice-captain he was still far better than most and not to mention he can use his rubber abilities to keep a distance from opponents. Which was a massive advantage in sword fights.
The door opened as one of the kuja pirates came on with a wrapped bundle in her hand. Seeing the wrapped object made Hancock smile as this was a call saying its time to see her beloved.

Luffy smiled as he cut another animal. Rayleigh had left about 2 hours ago after giving him a gift for his birthday which was a golden necklace saying Gum(Rubber).
Rayleigh stated that in six months he would come back for the final test. He was curious about it but couldnt be bothered to dwell on it any longer.
Luffy was minding his won business when he sensed a familiar aura with his haki. After sensing the aura he had a huge grin on his face. With that he ran off to the shore to greet his friend.
"HANCOCK!!!" screamed luffy
with a wave Hancock stepped onto the island with a wrappee parsel with made Luffy wonder what it was.
"Lu-Luffy" hancock shyly stated whilst her face went red.
"I got this for your birthday" she carried on stating it with a louder tone. She held out the object with both of her hands waiting for luffy to take it.
Luffy grabbed the object and unwrapped it. It was a medium sized katana about 100 cm in length. The sheeth was a crimson red with purple claw marks carving into the size. The handle was a purple and red stripes rope that covered the rest of the blade. When Luffy unsheethed the sword from its scabbered the blade was a midnight black with red and purple lighting stripes running along the dull part of the blade. Overrall the blade was a masterpiece that any lucky fool would be happy to even see.
"I hope you like it Luffy, when we fought World together i saw the blade that was just hanging on the wall so i took it thinking it would be a great to have as a decor. But after seeing you handle a sword like that i thought it would be a great gift towards you on your 18th birthday. " Hancock spoke with a gentle tone.
"Its one of the 12 supreme grade blades called... " Heavenly Thunder" . Hancock finishes as she noticed Luffy had never taken his eyes of the blade.
"Luffy?" she asked.
"hm?" sorry did you say something i wqs distracted by the sword
"I said the sword is one of the 12 supreme grade blades called " Heavenly Thunder". She repeated.
"SUGOIII, thanks Hancock you're the best" Luffy grinnes up at her. Seeing this made Hancock's blush return fullblown.
ROAR!*
Both turned around to see a giant gorrilla 3x the size of the Kuja ship. Luffy seeing this grinned and stated
"Perfect test for my new sword"
Luffy raised his sword in the air and out on a face of concentration. His right arm turned black and a reddish golden aura covered both his arm and blade (Note: since haki isnt visible no one will comment on the visual haki as its just there to show when haki is being used). With a shout and swing if Luffy's arm a giant purple wave with red outlines shot forward at supersonic speeds.
The wave carved through the gorrilla like a hot knife through butter, Then the attack flee straight past everything on the island.
Hancock was shocked, she knew that Luffy was strong but to do this was just Impossible.
When Hancock gazed at the carnage infront of her she could only stair in awe. How could she not when the entire island had been cleanly cut through splitting the island im half.
"Shishishi, that was so cool" laughed luffy.
Hancock was shellshocked, She had never seen anyonr cut an island in half and then laugh it off, to be fair it made her a bit wet.
"Lu-Luffy that was Incredible, H-how did u do that? " Hancock questioned wondering if she could gain such power aswell.
"hm, OH that, yeah i guess u could say that it was pretty amazing. To be honest i didnt expect it aswell. Shishii just goes to show how much i appreciate the gift" Luffy finished off with a warmer smile than his usual full grin.
"D-do you think you could teach me aswell?" Hancock questioned.
"hmmm... well im supposed to be training for Rayleighs final test but i guess i cam help you out a bit" Luffy stated. For some weird reason he wanted Hancock to stay as long as possible.
Six months Later*
Rayleigh was swimming towards Rusukaina with a grin on his face. Today was the day he would see how far his protégé has came in the last year and a half.
When Rayleigh steppee foot on the usland he sensed anothera presence, he knew it was hancock but she seems stronger than before? Maybe she went to train with Luffy.
He didnt mind much as it was a great way to gain strength by training with someone else.
"Well Hancock im surprised to see you here" A familiar voice stated
"Oh Rayleigh you're back?" replied Luffy
"Rayleigh? i didnt sense you." Said Hancock
"Well Luffy are you ready for you're final test?" stated Rayleigh.
"Sure am, Iv been training with Hancock for the past six months and im a lot stronger" replied Luffy.
"I see you got a new sword! And im guessing you're the culprit for adding and extra island to the calm belt i see" Rayleigh analyzed.
"You're final test is me. You have to beat me in a 1 on 1 battle, I would advice you go all out from the start because thats what ill be doing" Claimed Rayleigh
Hancock was surprised at that and now she was paying full attention towards Both her beloved and her father figure.
Luffy took in a deep breath of puffed it out.
*Drums of Liberation start playing*
"ITS COMING" shouted Luffy
A giant burst if haki blasted through the island just like the first time he awakened his fruit however this blast was 100x stronger than the one, 1 and a half years ago.
Luffy is in gear 5*
With a great laugh and another burst if haki with finished off the rest of the trees that didnt fall down from the first initial haki blast.
Rayleigh was surprised at the amount of haki but before he could even blink Luffy was infront of him, his fist stretched out all the way at his starting position.
For a second it looked like the world had gone into slow motion as Rayleigh stairs at those Demonic eyes, all of a sudden the fist shot forward straight at rayleighs face sending him all the way into the mounting leave a 100x200m crator with Rayleigh in the middle.
Hancock stared on as she saw Luffy transform into his 5th gear as he calls it however when she blinked Luffy wasnt there anymore.
Then she heard it, The sound of Luffys laughter and something hitting a rock... hard.
She turned facing where Rayleigh stood only to see luffy laughing as a giant dust cloud rose up into the sky.
"No way" she muttered.
Rayleigh stood up with blood leaking from his nose.
"That attack didnt even have haki behind it and he already made me bleed, i guess i need to start concentrating" Rayleigh claimed.
Rayleigh then jumped up dodging a black fist that shot towards him. The fist then shot into the mountain but the mountain seems to have been pushed in on itself.
Gomu Gomu no Dawn Pistol*
withing the blink of an eye the level if the mountain at which Rayleigh was the same height at shotntowaeds his gut and smacked dead centre.
This of course made Rayleigh cough up blood and get flung towards the other side of the island.
Rayleigh jumped up and coated his right leg in armement and conqueres coating, then he shot his leg forwars hitting something.
It was Luffy who charged at him, he had been hit in the jaw by Rayleigh. The hit was so powerful that shockwaves blew off from the point of contact and it sent luffy flying towards a different oart of the island.
Rayleigh then followes up by withdrawing his sword and slashing the air 23 times
Twenty three bladed prison*
The airblades surrounded Luffy like a circular. prison. The the blades collasped in on Luffy creating a giant mushroom cloud that could be seen from miles ahead
Rayleigh was huffing and puffing after that attack.
"When was the last time i was pushed like that" He exclaimed trying to catch his breath.
Rayleigh felt uneasy as he looked up to see the sky had become dark and was shooting lighting like nobodies business.
Gomu Gomu no cloud gatling*
hundreds of giant fists that were made out of clouds came crashing down hitting at the spot Rayleigh was at. Rayleigh didnt have time to dodge and had to take the full bront of the attack head on.
And so for the first time in years the dark king Silvers Rayleigh was left helpless at the mercy of someonr elses power.
*The final test of Luffys training... Rayleigh vs Luffy... The winner is... Monkey D Luffy*
when the sun went down we could see Luffy and Rayleigh were setting up the campire as Hancock who was asked by luffy went to hunt dinner.
"Hey Rayleigh?" Piped up Luffy
Rayleigh who was all bandaged up replied with a hum
"Iv been having this wierd feeling when i see hancock? its like whenever shes not around i feel lonly, Its like id do anything to protect her smile. Which is wierd because id do that with all my friends? But it feels stronger with hancock do you know why?" asked Luffy who seemed very puzzled.
Rayleigh was surprised at this but gave his answer
"Its quite obvious dont you think? You're in love"
"In Love?" Replied luffy who looked even more puzzled
"Yes like you want to marry them, kiss them and do other personal things" continued Rayleigh
"What like sex?" blurted out Luffy
with a laugh Rayleigh replied with a yes
"So what do i do now?" questioned the young man once more.
"Tell her how you feel" Earged Rayleigh.
As Hancock came back with some dead animals she saw luffy running up to her with a grin on his face.
"Oii hancock" he waved
Hancock blushed as she waved back
"Oi hancock hehe... marry me!"
