Chapter starts...

The sun is shining bright with a clear sky and no clouds seen which is rather unusual for an August afternoon in India. Since, it is Sunday there is lot of activity in the ruins of Nalanda going on. It is hard to imagine that the place which is now in ruins was at some point of time full of life and knowledge. In large burnt corridor there was a family roaming around. The echoes of the dead skeleton lying there can still be heard. The family then went to the circular room, which was at that time just a burnt room but actually a library which was full of charcoal and the grey ashes as the books in the olden times were made of Palm leaves.

"Hamra ka kahna hai ki jaldi iss kamra ma se nikal jana chahii (We should get out of here as soon as possible)"said a plump elderly woman who was wrapped rather fiercely with red drapes called saree. She had fierce but still pleasant look on her face. She has deep brown eyes and a messy bun of silverly hairs which represented her old age.

"Jema tame kaho cho baa (As you say Baa)" replied a young woman who wore loose clothes. Her hand was held by a tall thin man who happened to be her husband supporting his pregnant wife. There was one more couple in the family who were slightly younger than the first one. These were in laws of the pregnant woman. The couple also hold a small baby boy about a few months old. This seemed to be perfect medium sized family, but was it?

Several miles away at '14 P1 Mehta Mansion, Choubey Gali, near Aanchal Sugandh Shopee, opposite to Abhay Shoe Collection, New Delhi.' A woman in labor was calling her husband to pick her up to the hospital as she was expecting the delivery today.

After a few hours of labor pain, the woman gave birth to a cute baby girl completing their family of three. The parents had already decided to name their daughter (If that was the case) 'Arushi; Arushi Mehta. The day was normal to the family as they already expected the birth this week.

Back at Nalanda when the family was about to walk out of the burnt library one of the old pillars fell off on the ground leading to further collapsing of room. These horrible sites triggered breaking of water of the pregnant lady. And like if this was no enough something out of nowhere from the sky like lightening stroked the room and lady passed out in screams. The room caught fire and chaos started everywhere.

'Rudravir Patel' clasped his hand around his mouth in horror and was in state of panic as his wife got stricken with light along with his unborn child. Tears spilled from his eyes as he thought of his inborn child and all the memories he had with his beloved wife, 'Chaitali Patel'. Flashes of all the planning passed from his eyes which the couple has been doing from past 8 months.

His younger brother despite being fear-stricken advised him to carry Chaitali and escape the chaos as soon as possible. The two brothers held Chaitali while the older woman named 'Adarshini Patel' usually called 'Badi baa' helped her other daughter in law and great grandson to exit. After exiting the room, the family found a newly constructed room which was obviously not in ruins and took shelter there. But when they saw towards collapsed in proper lighting after exiting chaos the rest of the family was in shock.

"Lekin mujhe laga ki Bijli girne ke baad Bhabhi khun se ladi hogi ya...ya...matlab shayad...err nahi bachegi (but I thought that after thunder strike Sister in law will be covered by blood or err... err...maybe .. I mean.. err.. Dead" said the 'Rudraj' the younger brother seeing the unharmed body of her sister-in-law, unscratched but still fainted.

"Bhagwan ka shukra ba (God's Grace )" said Badi baa while comforting his older son who was amazed at the site but still horror struck.

Her other daughter-in-law, 'Falguni' was asked to roam around to calm her crying infant. And all of sudden Chaitali woke up, but was still in labor. Panic started again in room which was stopped by a loud scream from old Badi baa. As there was no time, she instructed his younger grandson (Rudraj) to bring their car inside the ruins despite being restricted. But to his horror, Rudraj has already lost the car key in chaos and as there was no network he left the room to call for ambulance.

Room was in chaos infant boy 'Vanraj' crying hard while her mother trying to comfort him. Chaitali in labor and her husband in panic. "Ab hamka hi kuch karna hoga (I must take matters in my own hands now)" said Badi baa as Rudraj has not yet returned. She instructed Rudravir to carry Vanraj and asked Falguni to help her as it was the time to take matter in her own hands.

And it was done just in a few minutes room echoed with another baby cry but this time a girl. Baa despite of her old age still looking okay and seem to have this experience previously but how? Wondered rather tired Falguni holding her niece in both her arms carefully. Chaitali was in sleep as she was exhausted with unexpected birth after about an hour.

Soon Rudraj arrived with ambulance and was shocked but still relieved to see his wife holding another baby girl while his brother comforting his own son. The date of August 23 will never be forgotten in the family. Next Evening, Chaitali and his newborn were discharged from the hospital. The couple seemed happy with the name 'Amisha' for their newborn decide by head of the family, Badi baa off course.

~ Very very far away from the country India, somewhere in the region called 'Legend'; whose one part was India itself ; near the city of London an owl was flying around. The owl kept flying through the city, then the countryside and forests and finally reached a distorted castle ruin on a nearby hill which was surrounded by dark forests and a beautiful lake along with many other hills nearby. There were many 'DANGER' and 'DO NOT ENTER' signboards around the ruin. After resting on the tree branch for a while, the brown owl, again took a flight towards the ruin and then suddenly disappeared. Somewhere around, a quill was dipped in royal blue ink and wrote two names in a very old and not to mention extremely bulky book with over thousands of pages; which were somewhere heard of. Something wad very odd, but what was it? AAh! yes, there was no one in the old room situated in a high tower and the quill was self writing without any presence of anything.

Back to the penthouse in Patna, on Tuesday morning, where the family was staying over preparing to return their home for some ceremony accounted for the birth of the newborn. After packing, family was waiting at terrace for their own helicopter, which they later boarded and moved towards the state of Gujarat. After few hours of flight, helicopter leaned below clouds and the city of Rajkot can be seen clearly. In minutes, helicopter reached a very large residential area and landed on the helipad present at tallest building of the area. The whole residential area was surrounded by three layers of walls; outermost of a steel fence, middle one of concrete marble wall and innermost of several bushes, shrubs and few trees. There was only one massive gateway in the wall surrounding about a square kilometer of area. Beside the gateway, was a nameplate where 'PATEL SADAN' was written in golden scriptures, suggesting that the whole property belonged to the Patels and also that they were extremely rich.

Today, the Patel Sadan was beautifully decorated by pastel- coloured flowers. Property was guarded by several guards as usual. Inside, exactly at the center of property was 'Patel Mansion' a very big bungalow which was four story high containing of several tens of rooms. There living room was filled with around fifty people; must be invited for the ceremony right ? NO! They were the family members of other seven people who just deboarded the helicopter. They all lived together as a joint family of about fifty members as of now.

The Gateway opened and a black car entered through it carrying a driver and a teen girl returning from her college. As the car moved forward it passed a concrete road between rose bushes of several colors surrounded by grass lawn along with some orchids and fruit trees. There were several gardeners at regular distances taking care of beautiful flora. Then there was a greenhouse containing several vegetables which were grown by organic methods. Beside was a shed which was occupied by several cattle which provided milk to the family. It also had a few horses. Then arrived a series of bungalows which were smaller relatively to the central one. These bungalows belonged individually to different family members where they spent their most of time except breakfast, lunch dinner and other events which can be referred as family time. Then the car came to a halt and girl came out along with tapping tice at her odd watch then a sports cycle came from the underground. The girl, 'GinishaPatel' a seventeen year old, currently preparing for medical entrance exam and happened to the elder cousin of Amisha; continued rest of her journey by cycle. She finally reached the mansion, parked the cycle improperly , in excitement to meet her newborn cousin before the naming ceremony.

Ginisha was about to walk in the mansion when she remembered an incident which happened today. When she was in her classes, she and her friend Meena had small fight and Ginisha left the room in anger but that was not possible as the room was locked by a boy to prank the teacher. So how was it possible? She almost believed that magic is real and she may get a letter from Hogwarts anytime soon. But the problem was even if it was all real- the wizarding world; she had already passed the age of eleven. But now she preferred to meet her cousin rather than thinking of the incident.

Amisha was asleep so Ginisha was told not to wake her up and just watch her silently. But in excitement she held her in her arms which woke the infant. And the cry echoed over the mansion which somehow triggered Vanraj to join the cry. Ginisha was mildly scolded by her mother 'Ojaswini Patel' who was eldest daughter in law of 'Daksh and Tanuja' grandparents of Amisha. However Adarshini gave punishment to her and also her elder brother 'Rutwik' to calm the babies as the ceremony was about to begin.

" Par maine kya kiya!?( But what did I do ? ! )" Said Rutvik to badi baa who was immediately replied by her" HUMKA KUCH NHI PUCHO AUR JO BOLO UU KARO MANVIR!! ( DON'T ASK ME AND WHAT IS SAID MANVIR!! )", " Baa wo Rutvik hai Manvir toh apne dosto ke saath gaya hai ( Baa this is Rutvik not Manvir ... Manvir is with his friends)" said an old woman but still younger than Adarshini, in a very calm and sweet voice. " Haa uu ji bhi ho ( Yaa whatever )" replied Badi baa.

Badi baa aka Adarshini Patel who was head of the Patel family, always had a very strong personality; although she loved her family she preferred being strict to teach values to her children and theirs. She walked in less stern manner and bent a bit, with a hand in her stoop suporting her back. She was very old, which is why she had developed some hearing impairment and loss of few memories ( constantly) although none of them were severe. This condition never helped to change her attitude though. In her young age she was slim and a very pretty but still a strong and smart woman she alone started ' Patel Group of Industries ' and ' Patel Business Ventures PVT .Ltd.' and made them reach so high in world of economics. She had only one son - ' Hasmukh Patel' who is commonly known as 'Mota bapuji' in the family. ' Sadhna Patel' was her daughter in law who was known as ' Baa or Moti Baa' this was the same old woman with calm voice.

Family Description over.

At sharp 4 pm the naming ceremony became with chanting of mantras according to Vedic Scriptures. However the name was already decided so the ceremony was kept to officiate the same.

At Mehta Mansion, New Delhi a party was accounted for the birth of Arushi Mehta. All was going well and Arushi has not yet cried more than twice. After the party parents if Arushi Mr. Taarak Mehta a poet and Mrs. Anjali Mehta a businesswoman placed the baby in crib just opposite to their own bed. The girl was rapped by two layers of blanket. Later that night, the couple was asleep but the girl was not as she started crying due to humid weather hoping to get free of blankets but nope, the couple was fast asleep due to exhaustion. Suddenly, the blankets came off by their own baby was free to sleep again. Next morning , the couple was amazed to see their daughter without blankets ... But how??. They were even more amazed to recieve a letter in the letterbox. Who sends a letter in the times of smartphone?

Same morning, at Patel Sadan in Chaitali's room Amisha has just made them a verbal request (Cry) to change her diaper. As Chaitali was in the shower it was Rudravir's time to do the task. So he left the room to fetch on few diapers but when he returned he was amazed to see Amisha completely Drryyyy!!

He then had self doubt that their must be a mistake, either he misunderstood or someone else had already changed diaper. Ginisha saw the same from peeking through the window and wondered is she going mad or something was really odd ?But her wonder was immediately taken off by fear and anxiety as Rutvik informed her of announcement of results of medical entrance. And as expected she winded up in a nice college and never looked back. But on night after a letter was delivered to Mr. And Mrs. Patel , parents of Amisha Patel, room 14, second floor, Patel Sadan, Balcony , Rajkot , India. There were two strange things about this the first one was that someone has delivered a letter that too at this précised address in modern times and second which was even more odd that the letter was delivered by a big brown owl, which seemed to be foreign.

The letter was sealed by red inked stamp shaped of a crest with a big H over there and undersigned as -

End of Chapter

This was a big chapter and I will try to keep later ones small if you want.

A/n: This is my first ever fanfiction I hope you like it. As i said its my first fanfiction I am not that good in writing so please ignore my mistakes. Also, if you are confused about timeline and some characters feel free to ask questions. However I will be explaining that though in third chapter , at least most of it and rest in future chapters. Also shall I keep the dialogue in character's own native language and explain them in English or just write them directly in English. I have used some slang Hindi and Gujrati terms here..so beware.

P/s: I was confused whom to chose headmaster between Harry, Neville and Hermione but later chose harry as i planned something else for them. I hope you like surprises as there will be many.

Disc.: I do not own any character of J.K Rowling or any other person.

Thank You
