Tales as Old as Time.

This was going to be a Ra's al Ghul entry but I didn't want to write another Batman villain so soon after Mr. Freeze.

It was surprisingly easy and nice to redact, thank God.

Biography:

Born from humble origins, Justin fought diligently in King Artoria's army, eventually rising to the ranks of the minor Knights of the Round Table. While never one of the King's elite, the King acknowledged him and trusted him as one of her vassals.

Once, Justin aided Merlin escape a trap set by Morgan Le Fay, and as thanks the archmage gifted him with a blessed suit of armor (see below) and Winged Victory, the flying steed (see Noble Phantasm). Shortly after, Justin avenged the murder of Queen Guinevere's cousin, Sir Fallon, at hands of the ogre Blunderbore. During their fight, Sir Justin and Winged Victory were buried by an avalanche, but thanks to Merlin's spells, they were preserved alive in suspended animation.

In 1941, Justin and Victory were revived and set out to fight crime, first on their own, then aided by a spirit young boy, Butch Boyle. Justin was one of the heroic Seven Soldiers of Victory, and thanks to his slowed aging, he still was active and vital when the Justice League Unlimited formed. He joined it, striking an odd friendship with Vigilante, the modern age cowboy.

Class Skills:

Riding: A

An expert in the riding and tame of horses and a skilled driver of motor vehicles thanks to his experiences in the days of King Arthur and the modern age. Vigilante taught him to excel at motorcycles, and he also was instructed on piloting Justice League Javelins.

Phantasmal beasts can be used as means of transportation, unlike the breed of the dragonkind.

Anti Magic: A

He once fought Morgan Le Fay herself, who was masquerading as Blunderbore, and while he didn't win, he escaped with his life and health, an impressive feat for any human dueling Morgan. He has earned himself some of her begrudging respect.

As a knight of yore he may be stated to be a mystery killer, and as a devout Christian he receives no penalties from Church sacraments.

Personal Skills:

Bravery: C

The ability to negate mental interference such as pressure, confusion and fascination. It also has the bonus effect of increasing melee damage.

The rank is only lowered because Saber's unconscious mind sets it back, by blaming himself of Camelot's fall, through being absent in the battle of Camlann. Hence he feels unworthy.

Blessings of Camelot: A

His suit of chainmail armor has been enchanted by Merlin into being unbreakable. It receives all physical attacks aimed at Saber and nullifies them unless they are ranked A+ or higher. As for why Merlin didn't just give these suits to everyone in Camelot, he foresaw that soon Justin would leave for the present day, and with Galahad having left by then the rest of the knights couldn't be trusted with them.

His sword, Excalibur Tertium, a derivate of Excalibur and Excalibur Galatine, is comparatively far weaker than them, yet still able to cut through virtually anything. But it is limited by Justin's own human strenght, since there is a limit on how mightily he can swing it.

Battle Continuation: C

A Skill that allows for the continuation of combat after sustaining mortal wounds. It will also reduce mortality rate from injury. This Skill represents the ability to survive and/or the mentality of one who doesn't know when to give up, consisting of one's strength of vitality in predicaments. The best result is achieved when a resilient body is combined with this Skill.

As perhaps best shown in his match against General Eiling, the Shining Knight will not stop fighting or pause while receiving life threatening injuries.

Since his body on itself is not that resiliant, nowhere as much as the armor protecting him, the rank is lowered.

Noble Phantasm:

Winged Victory-Buddugoliaeth: C

A Pegasus handed to Justin by Merlin. A noble white beast of wide wings.

It can trample most minor Servants and existences below Heroic Spirit level under its powerful hooves. The mere motion of the beast through the sky causes a sonic boom that damages those pursuing it.

Winged Victory flies at high speeds, and he is invulnerable to anything but EX ranked attacks and Church Sacraments while charging, but he can receive damage if he is struck while standing still, and he can be restrained through powerful enough means at any given time.

Start of Battle:

"I am one for flowery words, I'm afraid. Draw your sword."

"Show the strenght of your blades, warriors."

"Who am I? Nothing but an errant knight far from home."

"Have at thee!"

"The glories of Camelot have passed, but the future is still worth fighting for."

Attack:

"Hold."

"Hff!"

"Hmmmm!"

"Bah!"

Damage:

"Forsooth!"

"Coward!"

"Backstabber!"

"You fight with no honor!"

"You are insidious!"

Damage by Noble Phantasm: "How vile magick!"

Victory:

"I will not mock you. I refuse to."

"Taunting you would be against the code of the knighthood."

"Farewell, good sir."

"War is a necessity but never a pleasant one."

"I try not to be one for boasts."

Defeat:

"I'll die as befits a knight: Defending the weak!"

"Once again I have failed my cause. How despicable."

"I abandoned my post."

"Sorry, Master. Because of you, you lost..."

"This is a gray day!"

"Others will pull the blade up!"

Summon: "Servant Saber. Am I supposed to state my real name? I suppose that the rules differ from those in an actual Grail War. I was born Justin, with no surnames, from an empoverished family. My lineage is not impressive but my humble legend will do its best for your service."

Noble Phantasm Activation:

"Buddugoliaeth! Once again we ride together! Spread your wings, my friend! Once again for your namesake, Victory!"

Extra Dialogue:

"My Liege. Please forgive me for failing you in your hours of need. You are just as radiant as you were back then." (When you have Saber Artoria Pendragon).

"You cannot be reasoned with as you are at the moment. Hopefully, we'll talk again after you have calmed down." (When you have Berserker Sir Lancelot du Lac).

"Oh, Sir Lancelot. What is there to be said? If I had been there with Sir Agravain and Sir Gawain, there is no telling what I would have done. My heart would have been torn apart, that much I can tell you." (When you have Saber Sir Lancelot du Lac).

"Hark, the Amazon Princess! A reliable friend and ally. There are few this lowly knight would rather fight along." (When you have Lancer Wonder Woman).

"A dragon in love with her princess. This is fairly amusing! As long as love is sincere, who am I to judge? I am just a sinner myself." (When you have Foreigner Tohru and Kobayashi Meiko).

"Merlin? So the rumors about you were true. Indeed, you age backwards! I have nothing but praise for you, old sir, even if... well... for some reason, many around these places have told me about... You knew already? Of course you would. I apologize" (When you have Caster Merlin).

Birthday: "My honest congratulations on this day. Now let me hide you before Tristan and Sir Lancelot find you. Their idea of celebration is too much for someone your age, Master."

Event: "These are not like those from the old days. They are more like a circus. Sometimes I feel at unease in them. But it must be visited, so let us go!"

Holy Grail: "What is your wish? A knight owes himself to the will of his liege."
