In the streets of Paris...
The Parisian heroes and Class 1-A all ran across the rooftops towards Adrien's house. Everyone seemed to be able to keep up with each other. The only ones that were much faster were Ladybug and Cat Noir. They took off way faster than anyone else because of One for All. Once they had noticed that, they decided to slow down a bit and keep the pace with them.
Cat Noir ran beside Carapace, surprised to see him still want to join them.
"I can't believe you've been Cat Noir all this time," Carapace said to them while they ran, "I can't even believe Marinette is Ladybug! She gave me this Turtle Miraculous! It's just crazy!"
Cat Noir laughed at how shocked he still looked. Just based on the way he reacted, he knew he could trust him. He even seemed to really enjoy Adrien being a superhero.
"Well, I'm just glad that you finally know who I am," Cat Noir said to him, "It felt weird after a while not telling you."
Cat Noir noticed him staring at his cat ears and tail, but kept running alongside him anyway.
"But, what's with the cat ears and tail? Is it some sort of upgrade? Even Ladybug has wings and antennas," Carapace asked him.
Cat Noir rubbed the back of his head, looking a little embarrassed.
"It's kind of long story. I'll have to tell you about it later. Right now, me and Ladybug need to get Izuku, Katsuki and Ochaco back," Cat Noir said to him.
"You got it, dude!" Carapace said back.
Once they got close enough to Adrien's house, they all slowed down to take a look at it. Ladybug and Cat Noir looked at it a little closer, but didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. When Cat Noir left his house just now, he didn't see Chrysalis or anyone around. He saw Natalie, but that was it.
Ladybug spotted a piece of the butterfly window still missing. She couldn't see anything in the lair, but she knew that was the way in if they wanted to surprise her.
"Okay, it looks like we can go through there," Ladybug said, pointing to the window, "Me, Cat Noir and Carapace will go in there. All of you stay here until we give you the signal. Make sure no one gets past you."
Class 1-A and the others nodded. Ladybug, Cat Noir and Carapace got ready to jump into the lair. Carapace grabbed his shell shield at the ready. They all leaped towards it and entered the lair with no problem whatsoever.
The moment they entered, they all noticed how clean it was. All of the books and files that Adrien had found were all gone. He even noticed that the added rug and bean bag chairs were gone as well.
There were no was no sign of Midoriya, Bakugo or Uraraka. Not even Chrysalis or HawkMoth were there.
It looked completely abandoned.
Ladybug was shocked to see no one here. She at least thought that HawkMoth would be here since it is his lair.
"It looks like no one is here, Ladybug," Carapace said to her.
All she could spot was the damage that Uraraka must've done to the lair. She even spotted the chains that HawkMoth had ready for Midoriya. They were all broken and torn off the wall, but it still rubbed her the wrong way. She clenched her fists really tightly, feeling that same anger that Cat Noir felt. She felt something all around her arm come over her.
Then, she slammed her fist into the machine next to her. A wave of dust and cobwebs blew all around them, causing Cat Noir and Carapace to flinch. After the dust settled, Ladybug noticed that the machine was the only thing that was left behind.
"Well, this stinks," Cat Noir said, "Where did they go? We're going to have to look everywhere in Paris just to find them."
Ladybug noticed a flickering from the machine. It seemed to be flickering from the impact of her punch. For a moment, Ladybug noticed that it was still on the message that Uraraka had sent to them all those days ago. It played it automatically, showing AllMight and a couple of Class 1-A's friends.
Ladybug felt something for them, watching it again. She felt really bad that they still hadn't gone home yet. Just seeing their faces looking excited to see them again made her feel uneasy. Midoriya, Bakugo and Uraraka were still out there somewhere, and she didn't know what to do next.
"Do-Don't worry an-about... a thi-thing... yo-you want to kn-know why... because, I am here...!"
The video ended.
The lair was silent as Cat Noir and Carapace watched the video with Ladybug. Cat Noir could tell something was bothering Ladybug. He couldn't blame her considering they didn't know where his friends were.
"Ladybug...?"
Ladybug straightened up and took out her yo-yo. She looked back at them, ready to get out of there.
"Okay, we've gotta get going. They've gotta be around here somewhere," Ladybug said to them.
They all nodded and leaped out of the lair. They noticed Class 1-A and their teammates hadn't moved from their spot, which meant that everything was okay. Ladybug, Cat Noir and Carapace landed beside them, ready to tell them what they had found. Or maybe what they didn't find.
"The fact that you guys came out without Midoriya, Bakugo and Uraraka tells me that they aren't there," EraserHead said to them.
Ladybug looked upset, but stood tall.
"No, they aren't there. Not even Chrysalis and HawkMoth were there. The place is abandoned," Ladybug explained to them.
Class 1-A and her teammates were all shocked to hear this.
"Then, where are they?" Iida asked them, really worried about his friends.
"Ladybug, Cat Noir!"
Everyone turned around to see two people that they weren't expecting at all. Miss Hound and King Monkey running for their lives towards them. Everyone got ready to fight them, Ladybug stopped them before they did anything.
"Miss Hound, King Monkey?!" Ladybug cried out, "What're you doing here? Where's Chrysalis?"
"There's no time for that Ladybug!" King Monkey cried out, "He's coming!"
"Who is?" Cat Noir asked them.
Suddenly, the wind picked up all around them. They all shielded their eyes from the dirt being swirled around them. Cat Noir tried to open his eyes to look at what was causing all of this, but was shocked to see who was flying in front of them.
"I knew Ladybug and Cat Noir would show up here."
Cat Noir felt something come over him when he heard that voice descending from the sky. He clenched his teeth and fists as he looked up to see his father dressed as HawkMoth. This time however, purple wings were forming around him and were much bigger than him.
They all were shook to see HawkMoth out of prison. Cat Noir's eyes never looked away from him, not even for a second.
"Chrysalis sent me to go after Miss Hound and King Monkey. We both knew they'd run into you two," HawkMoth said to the Parisian heroes.
"What are you doing here, father?!" Cat Noir cried out, surprising everyone, "You're not supposed to be here!"
HawkMoth looked down at his son and then looked at his ring. He launched himself closer to Cat Noir, causing everyone to be pushed back by the wind. He was only mere inches away from Cat Noir, shocking him. He couldn't even move as he placed his hand on his shoulder. Just seeing his father right in front of him made him freeze up again.
"Adrien, my son. I've missed you so much," HawkMoth said to him.
Cat Noir tried to move, but he couldn't get himself to punch him or kick him. Then a yo-yo tried to wrap around HawkMoth, but he flew out of the way, staring daggers at Ladybug.
"Get away from him!" Ladybug cried out.
"Marinette, you've been Ladybug all this time," HawkMoth said to her, "I still can't believe you and Adrien have been Ladybug and Cat Noir this whole time."
Ladybug had forgotten that he knew who she was for a moment. She thought since he was in prison, they wouldn't have to worry about that ever again.
HawkMoth looked at who he was up against. Class 1-A, and Ladybug's team were all together to stop him. He knew that he couldn't take care of this all by himself, especially since Miss Hound and King Monkey stood by their side. Then, he looked down at his ring that he wore. His grin grew from ear to ear as he reached for it.
Cat Noir spotted the ring and felt something uneasy coming over him. Something made him launch at him with cataclysm at the ready.
"Cataclysm!"
"Cat Noir! Stop!" Ladybug cried out.
HawkMoth didn't expect Cat Noir to be as fast as he was, but was able to dodge the attack. Cat Noir ended up grazing his wing, causing HawkMoth to land on the ground. The cataclysm seemed to spread and stop after his wing had disappeared. He looked up at his son with the most horrified look on his face.
"Adrien, you dare try to cataclysm me?!" HawkMoth yelled at him, "Do you realize what you did to me last time you cataclysmed me?"
Cat Noir's eyes widened with shock when HawkMoth revealed his damaged arm to him. He felt him take a step back, his knees shaking. He hadn't realized in that moment a long time ago, that he done that to him. His eyes couldn't look away from what he'd done.
Class 1-A and the Parisian's heroes all gasped in horror even if they didn't mean to. Even Miss Hound and King Monkey didn't know what to do in that moment.
"Father, I'm sorry!" Adrien cried out, "I-I didn't mean to... but you have our friends! You have to stop this!"
Cat Noir suddenly a felt tug that made him stiffen up. He spotted HawkMoth rubbing at the ring that Adrien had given him. He didn't understand what was going on, but he knew that he didn't like where this was going.
"Adrien, I am your father. I need you to join me, now!" HawkMoth demanded.
"Like he'd ever join you, HawkMoth!" Jirou cried out.
"Yeah, he's our friend, and he would never betray us!" Ashido cried out.
Ladybug noticed something wrong here. She spotted Cat Noir stiffen up, but he didn't even move or say anything back to his father. She swung her yo-yo ready for HawkMoth to attack. Ladybug cautiously made her way over to Cat Noir.
"Cat Noir?" Ladybug said to him.
Before she could reach out to him, he walked over to HawkMoth. Ladybug's eyes widened in horror as he made his way over to him, not looking back at her. Class 1-A were so dumbfounded and shocked to see Parisian's hero head over to HawkMoth. EraserHead knew something wasn't right about this situation.
"Cat Noir?! What're you doing?!" Iida cried out, "You just said a moment ago that you couldn't stand him!"
Ladybug spotted HawkMoth rubbing his fingers against the ring, and then looked over at Cat Noir. She didn't understand what was going on, but just seeing HawkMoth with the ring that Cat Noir gave him a long time ago didn't sit right with her. She swung the yo-yo and wrapped it around Cat Noir. She pulled at him, but somehow he didn't budge.
He turned around and looked really terrified. Ladybug wasn't expecting to see him look like that and was worried about him.
"La-Ladybug... I-I feel... strange..." Cat Noir said to her.
Ladybug then realized something about that ring was the key. Her eyes zoomed in on it, ready to take it from him.
"HawkMoth, what have you done to Cat Noir?!" Ladybug cried out.
"I don't know what you mean. He's my son, so of course he'd listen to me," HawkMoth said to her while he kept rubbing the ring.
"Don't lie! I know you did something to him! You've been playing with that ring the whole time ever since you got here!"
Everyone then noticed right away and were concerned about him. Cat Noir stood by HawkMoth's side with Ladybug's yo-yo wrapped around him. HawkMoth placed his hand on his shoulder, making Ladybug sick to her stomach. They all heard Cat Noir's Miraculous beeping and Ladybug worried about him.
HawkMoth noticed something flying towards him, making him grin widen. It was an akuma.
"No!" Ladybug cried out.
Since her yo-yo was wrapped around Cat Noir, she didn't have any time to take it from him. The akuma absorbed into his suit, causing his purple wings to reform and become much bigger than before. Everyone's eyes grew wide with terror as they froze in place. They had never seen something like this before.
"Sorry, Ladybug. But that information is between me and him. Now if you'll excuse me, me and my son have some catching up to do," HawkMoth said to everyone.
HawkMoth grabbed Cat Noir, flapping his wings so hard that it caused a wind storm. Ladybug felt her yo-yo loosen around him, but she tried to tighten it so she wouldn't lose him. EraserHead stepped in and tried to wrap his scarf around Cat Noir as well. Everyone tried to throw their quirks or Miraculous powers at him, but the wind was too strong that it either pushed it all back or went back at them.
Ashido almost got hit by her own acid, and Todoroki's ice got shattered.
Jirou's quirk seemed to stall him for a moment, but didn't do much. Aoyama was the only one that actually hit his wing, but it wasn't enough to take him down.
Ladybug felt her yo-yo being pulled up and felt herself launch into the air. HawkMoth was leaving with Cat Noir in his grip.
"Ladybug!" Class 1-A cried out in unison.
She used her yo-yo to climb up it and towards HawkMoth. There was no way she was going to let go of Cat Noir, not while she was still around. As she made her way up, HawkMoth noticed that she was hitching a ride with them.
"You stubborn little bug!" HawkMoth yelled at her.
He began to whip around, to try to get her off of him and Cat Noir. She held onto him even tighter as she felt the wind knock her ponytails off. Her hair fell out of them, but all she could think about was getting her partner back. Ladybug could hear Cat Noir's ring beeping still, but then watched him detransform right in front of her.
"Adrien! Whatever's going on with you, I need you to snap out of it!" Ladybug cried out.
She tried to reach out to him, but HawkMoth was not letting her off the hook. He kept whipping around, trying to get her off of them. She reached her arm towards her partner with tears beginning to form around her eyes from the dust. Her eyes locked onto Adrien, just hoping that he would be able to break free from whatever hold HawkMoth had over him. She could feel her yo-yo loosening around him.
"Please!"
Adrien's eyes locked onto her, noticing how terrified she looked for him. His eyes couldn't look away from her, and he felt his hand reach out towards her. He was only inches away from touching her, when HawkMoth whipped her around again. She felt the yo-yo come undone and felt the wind from his wings pushing her away. Ladybug tried to get her wings to flap, but the wind pushing her down made it really difficult to get them to cooperate.
All she could do was watch HawkMoth take her partner away from her. She felt tears fall off of her face as she noticed her wings having a slight rip to them.
"Adrien!"
In the streets of Paris...
Class 1-A and the Parisian heroes ran down the street as they watched Ladybug trying to get Cat Noir back. All they could do was run to keep up with her since she was so high up.
Some of them were really worried about Ladybug as they ran. Iida was the only one that ran ahead just in case she needed him.
"EraserHead, what do we do?!" Kirishima cried out.
"We can't reach her!" Todoroki cried out as he tried to get ready to use his quirk.
EraserHead locked onto HawkMoth and didn't look away. This was definitely a moment that he wished that his quirk worked here in their Paris. He couldn't even use his scarf since she was so far away. He got ready for anything as he gripped onto it.
Then they noticed a green glow around Cat Noir, and everyone knew full well that he had detransformed.
"Pick up the pace, everyone!" EraserHead yelled out, "Ladybug might need us!"
Something about this didn't feel right as they kept running to save their friends.
Then, they spotted HawkMoth trying to swing Ladybug off of him, but she just kept hanging onto him. A couple of them gasped, watching Ladybug being dragged around like that.
Ladybug and Cat Noir's teammates ran as fast as they could, wishing that their powers were something that could reach them from high up. Even Queen Bee had a hard time watching her trying to get Adrien back. Carapace felt like it was weird now knowing that that was Marinette trying to save Adrien from his father. Rena Rouge tried to run ahead with Iida, but she knew that she wouldn't be able to. She even felt tears start to form under her eyes.
Then they all witnessed Ladybug falling. For a moment, they all thought that she'd be fine and fly since she had wings now. The longer they watched however, the more they noticed HawkMoth's wings pushing her away from them. The wind was too strong for her to use her wings.
EraserHead could tell she wasn't going to be able to chase after him.
"Ladybug!" Rena Rouge cried out.
EraserHead tried to catch up to her, but he was much too far to get to her. He watched Ladybug struggling to use her wings. Even her yo-yo was all messed up from being loosened up. His eyes widened in horror when he spotted her wings having a slight rip to them.
"Iida! Go now!" EraserHead yelled out.
"Yes, sir!" Iida cried back.
Iida activated his engine quirk and launched forward. He ran as fast as could, keeping his eyes locked onto her. Iida noticed right away that she had a rip around her wing. Eventually, he was able to catch up to her and slowed down a bit. She headed straight for him, and he caught her just in time. Ladybug felt pretty light as he slowly skidded to a hault. He looked up to see HawkMoth holding Adrien heading towards a familiar looking place.
Iida looked at Ladybug in his arms to see that she was knocked out cold.
"Ladybug! Wake up!" Iida cried out.
"Iida, you caught her!" Ashido cried out.
Class 1-A and Ladybug's teammates caught up with them, letting out a sigh of relief. They looked down at Ladybug to see her knocked out cold. Most of the class were shocked to see her wing ripped a little. Rena Rouge and Carapace's eyes widened to see her like this in Iida's arms. Even Queen Bee had an uneasy feeling about this.
Then, Ladybug stirred a little and began to wake up. She held her head like she had a headache from all the whipping around in the sky. She looked up to notice Iida holding her in his arms. Her eyes widened when she realized what had just happened. Ladybug leaped out of Iida's grip and was frantically looking around for Adrien.
"Adr-Adrien! I-I need to go after him! I need to--"
Suddenly, she found herself wrapped up in EraserHead's scarf. She turned around to see him using his quirk on her.
"EraserHead, what're you doing?! We have to go after Adrien and HawkMoth!" Ladybug cried out, "Besides, your quirk doesn't work on me."
"You wanna bet?" EraserHead said to her, "You have some of One for All inside of your Miraculous now, which means it works on you now."
Ladybug's eyes widened when she realized that she couldn't move her wings to get out of her bindings. She couldn't even feel her creation superpower while she stood there. His quirk finally worked on someone and of course it was someone on their side.
"EraserHead, we have to go get Adrien! HawkMoth might lead us to where the others are," Ladybug explained.
"No way. You have a ripped wing. I'm not letting you go there like that," EraserHead said to her, "Besides, there's something going on with Adrien that we are clearly not aware of."
Ladybug looked at everyone's faces, and they looked confused and hurt. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. This was Adrien that they were talking about, not some stranger. Something about that ring that HawkMoth was wearing gave Ladybug such an uneasy feeling, that she knew that's what made him act strangely.
"Please, EraserHead. This is Adrien we're talking about here. Whatever's going on with him, it has something to do with that ring HawkMoth was wearing," Ladybug explained, "He kept playing with it as if it had a hold on him."
EraserHead thought about it for a moment and let out a long sigh.
"If I let you go, you have to stay with us. We'll figure something out," EraserHead said to her.
Ladybug nodded, and the scarves unraveled around her. She turned around to face wherever HawkMoth flew over to.
"Whatever HawkMoth and Chrysalis are planning, I know it can't be anything good. Miss Hound and King Monkey, do you know anything about this?" Ladybug asked them.
Miss Hound and King Monkey looked really nervous to say anything to her. They had just betrayed Chrysalis, and now they were on Ladybug's side. Miss Hound hesitated, but something about this situation made King Monkey feel much better.
"You guys are not going to like it. Chrysalis has another one of those machines in an abandoned warehouse. She... She's trying to take Katsuki and Ochaco's quirks to make more Miraculous..." King Monkey confessed.
The whole class felt like something had hit them all really hard in the chest. Even EraserHead was a bit thrown off by that plan. Ladybug and her teammates couldn't believe what was happening. It didn't seem like something that she should be able to do, and yet Midoriya still lost his.
"Bu-But how?!" Iida cried out, "I thought HawkMoth could only do that with Midoriya's quirk!"
"Nope. He almost got Ochaco's, but we were able to stop it for a little while. We got away right after that, but they might still be planning to steal them again," He explained to all of them.
Everyone stood there in silence, completely dumbfounded by what they had just found out about Chrysalis's plan.
"You mentioned an abandoned warehouse," Iida said to them, stepping up as Class Rep., "I've been there before, back when I was akumatized."
"What should we do, EraserHead?" Sato asked him.
EraserHead looked at the rest of his classmates, looking at him for guidance. He was at least glad that they weren't running off on their own this time around. He looked at them, and then looked in the direction of the abandoned warehouse. He remembered taking care of Iida and Principal Damocles that night. He didn't think he'd be going back there any time soon.
He let out a long and relaxed sigh, knowing that there was no stopping his students. Even the Parisians heroes.
"We know where the lair is," EraserHead said to them, "If we're going to go after them, then Ladybug and her teammates need to recharge their Kwamis."
Everyone was surprised to hear him be okay with going forward towards the abandoned warehouse. Ladybug and her teammates nodded, and they ran behind a building nearby.
"Teenagers..."

Another really long chapter! I didn't know where to stop it, so I just kept going! LOL! Cat Noir was taken away by HawkMoth! There's something going on with the ring around his finger. Hmm... Ladybug tried to get him back, but she wasn't able to reach him in time! Luckily, they have Miss Hound and King Monkey on their side now!
It seems EraserHead can use his quirk on Ladybug because of One for All!
They finally know what Chrysalis is planning on doing with the three of their classmates!
